00:07 Well granted, it's hard for me to admit this 00:10 but yes, it's true. 00:12 We all need a balance of input output and rest. 00:16 This is true for our bodies and our minds. 00:18 Since music so profoundly affects our entire person, 00:22 we need a balance here too. 00:23 Let me suggest a way to use music throughout your day 00:26 for a healthy balance. 00:28 First, receive music, listen to it, let it be a part of 00:32 tuning you up for the day ahead, giving you mid-day breaks, 00:35 or evening relaxation. 00:37 Don't fall into the trap of background music. 00:40 Secondly, create music, voice yourself through humming, 00:44 creating tunes, playing an instrument, 00:46 or expressing yourself in body movement to music. 00:49 And then third, rest.
