and a few homemade bricks ready

And we prayed about it

nice church building there.

And so one of the
first things that happened

got established here

with just raising funds

lot with the children,

We could just see it
these children are really keen,

really eager to learn

but have limited opportunities

stories and things.

So we-- we put a lot of emphasis

during those first two
years into Sabbath school

and Sabbath afternoon
programs for children.

But I could say
that, that wasn't enough,

we really needed a day school

where they could
come every day of the week

and learn all these things.

So I was like, it naturally
came out of the Sabbath school

to head towards
needing a school.

We noticed that if this
church is really going to grow

and have future leaders,
we have to train the children,

the young people and the small
children have to get trained

so that they will become
the leaders for the future.

Jeff, there is a great need
for leadership in this province.

Particularly, in a young
church, a young growing church

whole province of islands here

for leaders, teachers, nurses,

And so this school
we're hoping by God's grace

will produce those
leaders and those teachers.

So the whole concept
of having a school here

is for moral and
spiritual development

and create leaders to be
able to not only work on Gaua

this last frontier

That's a pretty major surgery,

And we had a nurse who

but he stepped
in and helped out.

And what happened
with the young lady?

There was no--there was no
difficulty with the operation.

Everything went smoothly

and by God's grace we
were able to deal with that

very severe internal hemorrhage,

shock, very low blood pressure

which is why we had to
