Welcome back to the Liberty Insider. 00:00:01.36\00:00:04.03 I'm sure like me, you've been captivated 00:00:04.07\00:00:06.40 by hearing Pati tell of some of the real world projects 00:00:06.43\00:00:10.34 that have presented themselves to you 00:00:10.37\00:00:11.91 as you've made yourself available. 00:00:11.94\00:00:14.08 And in particular, during COVID, 00:00:14.11\00:00:16.91 there are greater risks for many people, 00:00:16.95\00:00:18.35 but greater opportunities. 00:00:18.38\00:00:19.71 Exactly. 00:00:19.75\00:00:21.08 And, you know, I'm amazed to hear 00:00:21.12\00:00:22.45 of this simple washing station 00:00:22.48\00:00:23.95 and the opportunities that's provided for you. 00:00:23.99\00:00:27.26 It's portable, it's lightweight. 00:00:27.29\00:00:30.23 And I can give you a number. 00:00:30.26\00:00:31.59 It holds five gallons of water, 00:00:31.63\00:00:32.96 and in Skid Row one day, 00:00:32.99\00:00:34.56 I washed probably close to about a hundred hands off 00:00:34.60\00:00:38.50 about five gallons of water. 00:00:38.53\00:00:39.87 And it doesn't take much, but it leaves a big impact. 00:00:39.90\00:00:43.94 And then to give them a clean mask. 00:00:43.97\00:00:46.31 And I tell you, I thank them all day 00:00:46.34\00:00:47.68 for letting me help them. 00:00:47.71\00:00:49.64 And I think Ellen White said, I'm going to paraphrase. 00:00:49.68\00:00:53.42 I think she said, if we only really knew 00:00:53.45\00:00:55.08 what the work of God really is, 00:00:55.12\00:00:57.45 there's no end to the opportunities. 00:00:57.49\00:00:58.85 I know. 00:00:58.89\00:01:00.22 And that is so true. There's no end. 00:01:00.26\00:01:01.72 And Jesus says the poor you'll always have, 00:01:01.76\00:01:03.53 which means there's plenty of poor. 00:01:03.56\00:01:06.23 But the main poverty is hunger for God's Word and for... 00:01:06.26\00:01:10.83 It is. 00:01:10.87\00:01:12.20 So I'm sure you have opportunity 00:01:12.23\00:01:13.97 to speak that word in season, right? 00:01:14.00\00:01:15.84 Yeah. 00:01:15.87\00:01:17.21 And just for helping them, 00:01:17.24\00:01:18.61 it will raise a question in their minds. 00:01:18.64\00:01:20.41 You know, what lies beyond that? 00:01:20.44\00:01:21.78 Why is someone doing this? 00:01:21.81\00:01:23.48 And especially during COVID, I'm sure a lot more people, 00:01:23.51\00:01:25.85 or a lot of people that normally would have been 00:01:25.88\00:01:27.45 out in the homeless encampments aren't. 00:01:27.48\00:01:29.78 Yeah. 00:01:29.82\00:01:31.15 The hygiene is very important. 00:01:31.19\00:01:33.02 You know, CDC is telling us, wash your hands, put masks on. 00:01:33.05\00:01:36.19 Yeah. They need it too. 00:01:36.22\00:01:38.16 They need it too. Social distances, we keep it. 00:01:38.19\00:01:40.03 Social distances. 00:01:40.06\00:01:41.40 Yes, they're not, but we try to, 00:01:41.43\00:01:42.76 when we're out there, 00:01:42.80\00:01:44.13 we hold to all the requirements. 00:01:44.17\00:01:46.84 And also with COVID, 00:01:46.87\00:01:48.50 it's put a change in how I reach out 00:01:48.54\00:01:51.27 also to our churches. 00:01:51.31\00:01:52.91 Because what I've been doing for the last three years 00:01:52.94\00:01:55.28 is I would visit churches within Southern California, 00:01:55.31\00:02:00.58 San Diego County, Riverside County, 00:02:00.62\00:02:05.19 and I would visit our churches and let them know, 00:02:05.22\00:02:08.22 this is what I do for church state council, 00:02:08.26\00:02:10.13 Public Affairs, Religious Liberty, 00:02:10.16\00:02:11.63 North American Religious Liberty Association. 00:02:11.66\00:02:15.16 They need to know that we're out there 00:02:15.20\00:02:16.53 as an organization and just build relationships, 00:02:16.56\00:02:19.03 raise up the awareness in our churches 00:02:19.07\00:02:21.50 because when we do have events 00:02:21.54\00:02:23.30 like I did for our home church, 00:02:23.34\00:02:24.74 we had a community Christmas event, 00:02:24.77\00:02:26.27 which was always the dream and the vision 00:02:26.31\00:02:28.31 of our community services director. 00:02:28.34\00:02:30.85 This was his, and it was so richly blessed, 00:02:30.88\00:02:34.28 but when you involve 00:02:34.32\00:02:36.65 and it doesn't have to be a lot of elected officials. 00:02:36.69\00:02:38.72 One elected official, 00:02:38.75\00:02:40.09 when you involve a county resource 00:02:40.12\00:02:41.56 to be there at your event, 00:02:41.59\00:02:43.56 ready to sign up people for I guess, 00:02:43.59\00:02:47.10 well, for services for emergency money, 00:02:47.13\00:02:49.50 food stamps. 00:02:49.53\00:02:51.93 When you, and when you let the, 00:02:51.97\00:02:54.20 I had let the LA County supervisor, 00:02:54.24\00:02:57.31 I let her aware of what we were doing 00:02:57.34\00:02:58.67 in our community. 00:02:58.71\00:03:00.04 She's, well, we'll give funding. 00:03:00.08\00:03:01.41 So we wanna give free lunches. 00:03:01.44\00:03:02.78 We have $998 00:03:02.81\00:03:05.15 it's a good amount of money for food, 00:03:05.18\00:03:07.05 but also free marketing. 00:03:07.08\00:03:08.98 The County Services Department put out our flyer on there 00:03:09.02\00:03:13.76 saying, we're going to be here. 00:03:13.79\00:03:15.29 Because they need to let the community know 00:03:15.32\00:03:16.66 where they're going to be. 00:03:16.69\00:03:18.03 So they can sign people up for help, 00:03:18.06\00:03:19.39 let them know where they were gonna be. 00:03:19.43\00:03:20.76 It's a win-win. Free marketing. 00:03:20.80\00:03:23.37 You're helping the society, they're helping spread 00:03:23.40\00:03:24.73 the awareness of Adventism and... 00:03:24.77\00:03:26.90 Exactly. 00:03:26.94\00:03:28.27 Help with the questions about what we're doing. 00:03:28.30\00:03:29.64 I mean... It's amazing. 00:03:29.67\00:03:31.01 I mean, there's just no end to the blessings 00:03:31.04\00:03:32.37 that flow from this. 00:03:32.41\00:03:33.74 No, and the elected official who's table 00:03:33.78\00:03:35.11 who I invited there that day 00:03:35.14\00:03:36.48 was the one again going back to the chocolate chip cookie. 00:03:36.51\00:03:40.42 Anyway, when I accidentally ran into 00:03:40.45\00:03:42.58 or not accidentally, 00:03:42.62\00:03:43.95 providence brought me to this certain assembly man. 00:03:43.99\00:03:46.02 I invited him to be there. 00:03:46.05\00:03:47.49 We're gonna have to rewrite the story to a tofu... 00:03:47.52\00:03:49.49 I know tofu, sorry about that. I keep forgetting it. 00:03:49.52\00:03:52.36 I'm struggling with that one. No. 00:03:52.39\00:03:53.73 It's just a joke. Cheap joke. 00:03:53.76\00:03:55.50 But I gave him a flyer since he was gonna be there. 00:03:55.53\00:03:58.47 Yes, we will be here at my home church, Long Beach. 00:03:58.50\00:04:00.94 If I could say that 00:04:00.97\00:04:02.30 Long Beach Seventh-day Adventist Church. 00:04:02.34\00:04:05.07 The email blasted it out. 00:04:05.11\00:04:06.44 Our pastor did amazing marketing himself 00:04:06.47\00:04:08.74 with Facebook. 00:04:08.78\00:04:10.11 So we got the word out there. 00:04:10.15\00:04:11.48 We had about 400, 600 people show up 00:04:11.51\00:04:13.15 and we were prepared for 150. 00:04:13.18\00:04:15.38 But we made it work. We made it work. 00:04:15.42\00:04:16.99 It was wonderful. 00:04:17.02\00:04:18.35 But now with COVID, 00:04:18.39\00:04:21.02 I've obviously heard of our churches closed down. 00:04:21.06\00:04:23.86 I don't visit our churches like I did. 00:04:23.89\00:04:25.93 No, they're not all closed down, are they? 00:04:25.96\00:04:27.60 They're not all closed down. But my reason also... 00:04:27.63\00:04:30.47 You know, recently, when I visited there 00:04:30.50\00:04:32.07 you were able to get me to speak at what? 00:04:32.10\00:04:35.04 White Memorial. White Memorial. 00:04:35.07\00:04:36.54 And they were meeting outside under an awning 00:04:36.57\00:04:38.57 which I thought was a naturale and very safe. 00:04:38.61\00:04:44.68 You know, they were keeping social distance 00:04:44.71\00:04:46.18 with masks and so on. 00:04:46.21\00:04:47.55 But at least they were meeting. 00:04:47.58\00:04:48.92 Yeah. 00:04:48.95\00:04:50.29 They had a good amount of people show up. 00:04:50.32\00:04:51.65 But have all of the churches that you know 00:04:51.69\00:04:53.02 of in the area are opened or? 00:04:53.05\00:04:54.39 No, no. 00:04:54.42\00:04:55.76 Pretty much they're still all closed 00:04:55.79\00:04:57.13 because what I was... 00:04:57.16\00:04:58.49 Unfortunate. Yeah. 00:04:58.53\00:04:59.86 What I was trying to do was let them know, 00:04:59.89\00:05:01.23 look, let's hold resource fairs at your churches. 00:05:01.26\00:05:03.93 I can, within your district, 00:05:03.97\00:05:05.60 bring the elected officials in. 00:05:05.63\00:05:07.17 I can bring nonprofits in. 00:05:07.20\00:05:09.10 I'd let the community know that you can be a resource hub 00:05:09.14\00:05:11.47 for your community. 00:05:11.51\00:05:12.84 Let them know if they're looking for help, 00:05:12.87\00:05:14.61 whether it be, I don't know, maybe attorney's aid, 00:05:14.64\00:05:18.58 there's a Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. 00:05:18.61\00:05:20.82 Maybe if they need help with social services. 00:05:20.85\00:05:25.32 If they need help with runaways, 00:05:25.35\00:05:26.76 if they need any kind of help, 00:05:26.79\00:05:28.12 I have the resource tables for it. 00:05:28.16\00:05:30.16 Now the community will know you're there. 00:05:30.19\00:05:32.36 They will. 00:05:32.39\00:05:33.73 If they need help, they will come to your church 00:05:33.76\00:05:35.10 and I'll leave you with stacks of brochures. 00:05:35.13\00:05:37.23 You know, when you go into the stores, 00:05:37.27\00:05:38.60 you see those little turnarounds 00:05:38.63\00:05:39.97 with brochures, 00:05:40.00\00:05:41.34 put one of these in your foyer, community comes in, 00:05:41.37\00:05:43.34 give them, or even your members. 00:05:43.37\00:05:45.44 So I was working on raising that up 00:05:45.47\00:05:46.91 for our churches. 00:05:46.94\00:05:48.28 I travel and go into stores. 00:05:48.31\00:05:49.64 I check out what those little... 00:05:49.68\00:05:51.01 Little turn tables. 00:05:51.05\00:05:52.38 I just wanna see the types of groups 00:05:52.41\00:05:53.75 and organizations. 00:05:53.78\00:05:55.12 Exactly. 00:05:55.15\00:05:56.48 And I've thought many times, 00:05:56.52\00:05:57.85 why couldn't we put our stuff there. 00:05:57.89\00:05:59.22 That's what I was working on. 00:05:59.25\00:06:00.59 I wanted to work on having it there. 00:06:00.62\00:06:01.96 They're tall, little tall metal stands 00:06:01.99\00:06:03.32 that flip around put all. 00:06:03.36\00:06:04.69 I would furnish everything. 00:06:04.73\00:06:06.06 I would furnish everything and keep up on the supply. 00:06:06.09\00:06:08.90 And if they do hold a resource fair, 00:06:08.93\00:06:10.93 free marketing. 00:06:10.97\00:06:12.30 I would get the free marketing 00:06:12.33\00:06:13.67 from the nonprofits and county services. 00:06:13.70\00:06:15.64 They would meet, email the blast out the community, 00:06:15.67\00:06:18.21 just be there to welcome the community in. 00:06:18.24\00:06:20.11 And let them know you have resources 00:06:20.14\00:06:22.11 other than our own resources. 00:06:22.14\00:06:23.81 And this sort of thing works about putting the materials 00:06:23.85\00:06:27.22 where people are normally, 00:06:27.25\00:06:30.19 it's another magazine and another place. 00:06:30.22\00:06:32.35 But I remember many years ago, when I was at Pacific Press, 00:06:32.39\00:06:35.12 there was a pressman 00:06:35.16\00:06:36.49 who had a vision like you to get. 00:06:36.52\00:06:38.83 He came to talk to me about the magazine I was editing, 00:06:38.86\00:06:41.40 which was the drug education journal. 00:06:41.43\00:06:43.23 And I didn't have any way to work with him. 00:06:43.26\00:06:45.30 He'd rather have done it 00:06:45.33\00:06:46.74 because it meets an immediate need 00:06:46.77\00:06:48.57 in the community. 00:06:48.60\00:06:49.94 So in the end, he quit his job. 00:06:49.97\00:06:52.34 And with the trailer, went around, 00:06:52.37\00:06:54.44 driving all over the US 00:06:54.48\00:06:56.44 pitching with different churches 00:06:56.48\00:06:58.75 and organizations to place a signs box. 00:06:58.78\00:07:02.45 They would pay the fee for the books 00:07:02.48\00:07:05.35 and he would leave it with them and then subscriptions, 00:07:05.39\00:07:07.46 and they would be stocked, 00:07:07.49\00:07:08.82 and putting these in public places. 00:07:08.86\00:07:11.29 There was a point where, 00:07:11.33\00:07:13.13 you know, they sent him out to die in the wilderness, 00:07:13.16\00:07:15.06 the management, they were happy 00:07:15.10\00:07:17.53 for free labor and, you know, figured he wouldn't do much. 00:07:17.57\00:07:20.07 There was a point where that was the majority 00:07:20.10\00:07:21.90 of the circulation of the magazine 00:07:21.94\00:07:23.30 one man in placing. 00:07:23.34\00:07:25.57 He was doing 50,000 subs a year. 00:07:25.61\00:07:28.58 So I know the potential of this sort of thing. 00:07:28.61\00:07:30.85 This is what I was wanting to do, 00:07:30.88\00:07:32.71 then COVID hit. 00:07:32.75\00:07:34.08 The Bible says, where are the workmen? 00:07:34.12\00:07:35.45 The workmen are few. 00:07:35.48\00:07:36.82 If it's ready workmen that the harvest will come in, 00:07:36.85\00:07:41.36 and that's what I'm waiting for in COVID. 00:07:41.39\00:07:44.13 This is an emergency that we didn't anticipate. 00:07:44.16\00:07:46.46 It may or may not be the beginning of a sequence 00:07:46.49\00:07:49.16 for the very end of time, 00:07:49.20\00:07:50.53 but it's the type of thing that we can expect. 00:07:50.57\00:07:53.30 And, I'm still hoping and expecting 00:07:53.34\00:07:56.40 that God's Spirit will sweep over our membership 00:07:56.44\00:07:59.67 and we will rally and come forward. 00:07:59.71\00:08:01.84 This is not the time to go back and sleep at home. 00:08:01.88\00:08:04.78 And yes, Zoom can work to a point, 00:08:04.81\00:08:07.22 but Zoom is not a substitute 00:08:07.25\00:08:08.68 for these many and myriad contacts 00:08:08.72\00:08:10.79 that we're called to make. 00:08:10.82\00:08:12.15 And we can still do it. 00:08:12.19\00:08:13.52 And now I hear people say 00:08:13.56\00:08:16.22 church isn't in the walls of the church. 00:08:16.26\00:08:17.99 Churches isn't a building. 00:08:18.03\00:08:19.36 Well, then go out in the streets, 00:08:19.39\00:08:21.16 then go out, please. 00:08:21.20\00:08:23.03 With a mask, but go out. 00:08:23.06\00:08:24.47 Go out because let's meet people, 00:08:24.50\00:08:26.80 Christ method alone. 00:08:26.84\00:08:28.17 Let's you can still meet people where they are. 00:08:28.20\00:08:30.04 Even if you take literature out, 00:08:30.07\00:08:31.84 walk the streets. 00:08:31.87\00:08:33.21 Even if you take resources, 00:08:33.24\00:08:35.18 take pamphlets of nonprofits 00:08:35.21\00:08:38.18 that are feeding and where they're going to be. 00:08:38.21\00:08:40.15 Or if your church is still open for food banks, 00:08:40.18\00:08:42.42 go out in your neighborhoods, 00:08:42.45\00:08:43.79 pass out the pamphlets and say our church food bank, 00:08:43.82\00:08:46.19 this day, this time. 00:08:46.22\00:08:48.59 Like a little church, where I, when I'm around, 00:08:48.62\00:08:51.06 when I attended in Hagerstown, 00:08:51.09\00:08:52.99 they've got a drive through food bank every week. 00:08:53.03\00:08:56.63 I think my son had been working on it 00:08:56.67\00:08:58.00 particularly. 00:08:58.03\00:08:59.37 I think it was on the Friday 00:08:59.40\00:09:00.74 and they'd been quite surprised 00:09:00.77\00:09:02.47 that the number of families in the area 00:09:02.50\00:09:04.17 that depend on that. 00:09:04.21\00:09:05.54 Not just appreciate it. Thank you. Yes. 00:09:05.57\00:09:07.48 Without that, they would be on starvation level. 00:09:07.51\00:09:10.01 Out of work because of COVID and other difficulties. 00:09:10.05\00:09:12.48 Exactly. 00:09:12.51\00:09:13.85 My home church, Long Beach, 00:09:13.88\00:09:15.92 our community services director threw it all. 00:09:15.95\00:09:19.35 He has opened up our food bank, 00:09:19.39\00:09:20.76 still every third Sunday, 00:09:20.79\00:09:23.96 we probably have close to 60, 70 families 00:09:23.99\00:09:26.39 that come to us. 00:09:26.43\00:09:27.76 We bag up about a month's supply of food. 00:09:27.80\00:09:29.63 Where would they have gone otherwise? 00:09:29.66\00:09:31.67 And I, I think, you know, what you're doing is amazing, 00:09:31.70\00:09:34.27 inspiring every time I hear something about it. 00:09:34.30\00:09:37.27 But as we sit in the middle of COVID, 00:09:37.31\00:09:39.27 I think in the middle, 00:09:39.31\00:09:40.64 I don't believe this is the end of the adventure. 00:09:40.68\00:09:42.94 There'll be at least most of next year to go. 00:09:42.98\00:09:46.61 The emergencies are going to increase the need. 00:09:46.65\00:09:49.15 Of course, the spiritual, 00:09:49.18\00:09:50.52 underlying spiritual leaders is crying. 00:09:50.55\00:09:53.29 But the approach to discover that 00:09:53.32\00:09:55.39 is often food and contact and human support. 00:09:55.42\00:10:00.63 COVID is a disease, 00:10:00.66\00:10:02.00 but I believe that we're entering 00:10:02.03\00:10:04.00 into an uncharted territory on the finances. 00:10:04.03\00:10:06.37 We're very likely to see 00:10:06.40\00:10:08.20 a almost a Great Depression again, 00:10:08.24\00:10:10.97 and people will be literally needy 00:10:11.01\00:10:13.27 for the most common things. 00:10:13.31\00:10:14.64 Not just that old diapers. Right. 00:10:14.68\00:10:17.75 You know, maybe children's diapers, 00:10:17.78\00:10:19.71 maybe shoes, the simplest things, 00:10:19.75\00:10:23.08 even in our so-called advanced country. 00:10:23.12\00:10:26.05 There are people that are living 00:10:26.09\00:10:27.92 in the most abysmal, basic circumstances, 00:10:27.96\00:10:30.29 and they need our help. 00:10:30.33\00:10:31.69 They do. And it's not difficult. 00:10:31.73\00:10:34.10 If you can start out with one day a week, 00:10:34.13\00:10:36.36 it doesn't have to be burdensome and it's not. 00:10:36.40\00:10:39.30 It can be one day a week. 00:10:39.33\00:10:40.74 And if church is outside the building, 00:10:40.77\00:10:42.44 then go outside, then go outside of your home also. 00:10:42.47\00:10:45.54 And I was building a lot of relationships 00:10:45.57\00:10:47.84 with several churches 00:10:47.88\00:10:49.21 because I would visit pretty often. 00:10:49.24\00:10:51.61 What I can say good about Zoom and the conference calling 00:10:51.65\00:10:54.85 is that I am now on some days I can be on 00:10:54.88\00:10:58.92 with two or three different churches 00:10:58.95\00:11:01.49 at the same time building relationships. 00:11:01.52\00:11:02.92 Yeah. 00:11:02.96\00:11:04.29 And there are great opportunities. 00:11:04.33\00:11:06.26 I shouldn't bad mouth it totally. 00:11:06.29\00:11:07.73 But I just don't think 00:11:07.76\00:11:09.20 it's a direct alternative to the personal touch. 00:11:09.23\00:11:14.00 But, yeah, 00:11:14.04\00:11:15.40 you know, it's inspiring what you're doing. 00:11:15.44\00:11:16.77 And the takeaway from this 00:11:16.81\00:11:18.14 is that it's not just do good-rism. 00:11:18.17\00:11:20.91 It's directly linking 00:11:20.94\00:11:22.28 to our Religious Liberty Public Affairs agenda, 00:11:22.31\00:11:25.21 isn't it? 00:11:25.25\00:11:26.58 It is. 00:11:26.61\00:11:27.95 And, you know, like I said before 00:11:27.98\00:11:29.32 it's real heartwarming. 00:11:29.35\00:11:32.05 We are spreading the gospel. 00:11:32.09\00:11:33.42 They do see and know 00:11:33.46\00:11:35.32 and hear about Seventh-day Adventists, 00:11:35.36\00:11:37.13 our church and what we're doing. 00:11:37.16\00:11:38.69 And they see us as an asset 00:11:38.73\00:11:40.43 and as a positive influence, the elected officials, 00:11:40.46\00:11:43.10 the community, the nonprofits, 00:11:43.13\00:11:45.30 and it's a wonderful feeling 00:11:45.33\00:11:46.67 to be called on for requests as a resource. 00:11:46.70\00:11:49.54 When they call me and say, "Pati, can you help?" 00:11:49.57\00:11:51.37 And I say, "Yes, I can." 00:11:51.41\00:11:53.11 It's quite a few years now, 00:11:57.38\00:11:59.11 since as a young man with my parents and siblings, 00:11:59.15\00:12:03.39 we took the long way back from the US to Australia. 00:12:03.42\00:12:06.55 And we stopped off in India 00:12:06.59\00:12:08.66 and I will never to my dying day 00:12:08.69\00:12:11.49 forget some of the scenes that I saw. 00:12:11.53\00:12:13.50 Of course, India has moved a long way 00:12:13.53\00:12:17.30 since then in most ways. 00:12:17.33\00:12:19.53 But to see the degradation 00:12:19.57\00:12:22.27 that existed in certain places then, 00:12:22.30\00:12:24.84 poverty on a level as a westerner, 00:12:24.87\00:12:27.44 I could have never imagined the degradation, 00:12:27.48\00:12:29.84 people with broken arms and legs deformed 00:12:29.88\00:12:33.65 by their parents often, so they could be beggars. 00:12:33.68\00:12:38.12 It's worth remembering 00:12:38.15\00:12:39.49 that COVID with its death and destruction 00:12:39.52\00:12:41.32 on many families in the United States. 00:12:41.36\00:12:45.79 It's not the only thing that's going on, 00:12:45.83\00:12:49.90 whether it's in India 00:12:49.93\00:12:51.30 or in the inner cities of the US 00:12:51.33\00:12:53.44 or the working towns in Europe, 00:12:53.47\00:12:56.00 there are people in desperate straits 00:12:56.04\00:12:59.34 and COVID should not blind us to this crying need. 00:12:59.37\00:13:04.18 We should like Jesus Christ in His ministry, 00:13:04.21\00:13:06.38 see the needs, 00:13:06.41\00:13:08.42 physical and spiritual of people all around us. 00:13:08.45\00:13:11.45 And even though people are dying 00:13:11.49\00:13:13.12 and in desperation, 00:13:13.15\00:13:14.76 they are desperately of need of the word of salvation, 00:13:14.79\00:13:20.00 that they are free in Christ. 00:13:20.03\00:13:22.53 And that the great liberator and healer is soon to come. 00:13:22.56\00:13:27.10 For Liberty Insider, this is Lincoln Steed. 00:13:27.14\00:13:30.21
