00:03 That is the burning question. 00:07 I didn't share it in the program, 00:08 but I'm reminded of a story 00:10 of missionary endeavor in the South-Pacific. 00:15 And a native missionary left behind 00:18 to deal with the savages, 00:19 was chased he and his wife 00:21 and she was struck down by the headhunters and eaten. 00:25 And he went back, even though 00:27 he could have been rescued, 00:28 went back to serve out 00:30 his life as a continuing missionary 00:32 to those cannibals 00:33 who had killed and eaten his wife. 00:36 And over her grave, 00:38 he put a marker and the words 00:40 from the Bible it said, "The word of God is not bound." 00:45 That was Paul's testimony. 00:47 Nothing can inhibit the word and proclamation of the Lord. 00:51 In our day, with COVID, 00:53 with persecutions, with storms, 00:56 and furies on every hand 00:58 and sure to increase, 00:59 we need to realize that the word of God is not bound. 01:03 And that while frustration 01:05 and temporary failure may be there, 01:07 success and powerful witness will follow. 01:11 For Liberty Insider, this is Lincoln Steed. |
