00:02 about a certain young man 00:04 who had had a wonderful conversion experience. 00:07 So wonderful and interesting to tell 00:12 that he used to hold audiences spellbound and recounting it. 00:16 And to help him tell the story 00:17 he had to written down on a sheet of paper. 00:20 The years went by 00:22 and he grew habituated to repeating it, 00:23 and then one fateful day, right before the meeting, 00:27 he misplaced the piece of paper. 00:29 And all he could do was stand up 00:31 before the crowd and say, 00:32 "I have lost my Christian experience." 00:36 I do hope that for each of us, 00:38 it's a little bit more integral to our life 00:41 than just telling the story. 00:44 I hope it's a little bit more like John Bunyan, 00:46 his very life was shifted and changed 00:49 and a new compulsion 00:51 had replaced that old state of mind. 00:55 For Liberty Insider, this is Lincoln Steed. |
