Welcome to the Liberty Insider. 00:00:26.89\00:00:28.99 This is the program bringing you news, 00:00:29.02\00:00:30.86 views, discussion, insights, and up-to-date information 00:00:30.89\00:00:34.66 on religious liberty developments 00:00:34.70\00:00:36.43 in the US and around the world. 00:00:36.46\00:00:38.70 My name is Lincoln Steed, Editor of Liberty Magazine. 00:00:38.73\00:00:42.70 And my guest on this program Ed Woods III. 00:00:42.74\00:00:46.14 That III is very important. 00:00:46.17\00:00:47.51 You're the real McCoy at the moment. 00:00:47.54\00:00:50.98 I want to talk about something that's near and dear 00:00:51.01\00:00:53.18 certainly to Seventh-day Adventists 00:00:53.21\00:00:54.55 and anybody that's been 00:00:54.58\00:00:56.22 on the end of our wide-ranging publishing program 00:00:56.25\00:00:59.39 for 100 plus years, 00:00:59.42\00:01:01.62 the concept in a book of that name, 00:01:01.66\00:01:04.56 The Great Controversy. 00:01:04.59\00:01:05.93 Okay. 00:01:05.96\00:01:08.43 Ellen White who wrote that, claimed to... 00:01:08.46\00:01:12.40 well, she was a visionary 00:01:12.43\00:01:13.77 and claimed to have some insights 00:01:13.80\00:01:15.50 that were prophetically important. 00:01:15.54\00:01:18.77 But when I read that, 00:01:18.81\00:01:20.14 I see that history features large, 00:01:20.18\00:01:24.15 Bible prophecy features very large, 00:01:24.18\00:01:26.01 and contemporary events. 00:01:26.05\00:01:27.38 At least when I look at the news, 00:01:27.42\00:01:29.72 I might as well be reading Great Controversy. 00:01:29.75\00:01:31.52 Do you get that same feeling? I do. 00:01:31.55\00:01:32.95 We are living in the middle of a turmoil 00:01:32.99\00:01:35.86 that's unexplainable unless you see it 00:01:35.89\00:01:38.29 as a battle between two forces. 00:01:38.33\00:01:39.86 Two forces. 00:01:39.89\00:01:41.23 And, you know, 00:01:41.26\00:01:42.60 if we look at our theology as Seventh-day Adventists, 00:01:42.63\00:01:44.73 you know, and talk about Revelation 12:7-9, 00:01:44.77\00:01:47.47 "Then war broke out in heaven. 00:01:47.50\00:01:48.97 Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, 00:01:49.00\00:01:50.71 and the dragon and his angels fought back. 00:01:50.74\00:01:52.51 But he was not strong enough, 00:01:52.54\00:01:54.01 and they lost their place in heaven. 00:01:54.04\00:01:55.74 The great dragon was hurled down." 00:01:55.78\00:01:57.51 And when I really studied 00:01:57.55\00:01:59.08 and tried to do an exegesis of the text 00:01:59.11\00:02:01.98 for the sermon war on earth, 00:02:02.02\00:02:03.82 I realized that polemos was what war meant. 00:02:03.85\00:02:07.36 And when you're thinking about war, 00:02:07.39\00:02:08.99 you're thinking about combat, 00:02:09.02\00:02:10.73 you're thinking about fighting and warfare, 00:02:10.76\00:02:13.90 and that's not what it was. 00:02:13.93\00:02:15.26 It was a propaganda campaign 00:02:15.30\00:02:17.13 between Satan and God regarding Michael's role, 00:02:17.17\00:02:20.74 but it's also looked upon, 00:02:20.77\00:02:22.10 when you look at the Greek word, 00:02:22.14\00:02:23.47 it was like a character assassination scheme. 00:02:23.51\00:02:26.91 And I was like... 00:02:26.94\00:02:28.28 You know, I just thought about it like that, 00:02:28.31\00:02:29.64 you know, propaganda campaign, 00:02:29.68\00:02:31.01 character assassination scheme, and you... 00:02:31.05\00:02:32.38 So you don't think there was a literal war? 00:02:32.41\00:02:33.75 It wasn't literal war combat and I was like, 00:02:33.78\00:02:35.12 it's the battle of the wills. 00:02:35.15\00:02:36.48 I tend to look at the universe and all the asteroids 00:02:36.52\00:02:39.19 and the bits and pieces floating, 00:02:39.22\00:02:41.09 I think there might have been a blow up. 00:02:41.12\00:02:43.19 Yeah, but I guess what I'm saying is 00:02:43.22\00:02:45.59 in terms of how the hurled down... 00:02:45.63\00:02:47.26 The real dynamic that was driving it, absolutely. 00:02:47.30\00:02:48.63 The real dynamic was the battle of the will 00:02:48.66\00:02:52.60 and the deception 00:02:52.63\00:02:53.97 because, you know, we look at Isaiah and Ezekiel, 00:02:54.00\00:02:56.07 and it talks about the pride that was at Lucifer's heart 00:02:56.10\00:02:59.04 that caused him to sin and take a third of the angels. 00:02:59.07\00:03:01.91 And when you really look at that, 00:03:01.94\00:03:04.71 you know, in terms of pride comes before destruction 00:03:04.75\00:03:08.02 and what happened in heaven, 00:03:08.05\00:03:10.72 you know, with the downfall of Lucifer, 00:03:10.75\00:03:12.99 you're like, "Hmm." 00:03:13.02\00:03:14.56 Going back to what you're saying 00:03:14.59\00:03:15.92 with regards to the paper, reading the newspaper, 00:03:15.96\00:03:18.39 you know, we are in a war, 00:03:18.43\00:03:19.89 we are in a great controversy, we see... 00:03:19.93\00:03:21.43 Well, it doesn't make any sense 00:03:21.46\00:03:22.80 unless you recognize this dynamic. 00:03:22.83\00:03:25.53 This whole dynamic. It's chaos. 00:03:25.57\00:03:27.37 And what I see 00:03:27.40\00:03:28.74 when I think about the war on earth 00:03:28.77\00:03:31.04 related to the war in heaven, I see three things. 00:03:31.07\00:03:34.18 I think it begins in the mind, I think it impacts your faith, 00:03:34.21\00:03:39.25 and I go with the third angel's message, 00:03:39.28\00:03:41.68 the worship. 00:03:41.72\00:03:43.25 And when I say the worship in terms of 00:03:43.28\00:03:45.05 we worship the Creator not the Sabbath 00:03:45.09\00:03:47.89 but we worship the Creator. 00:03:47.92\00:03:49.26 John Milton said that a mind 00:03:49.29\00:03:50.69 can make of itself heaven of hell. 00:03:50.73\00:03:52.93 It can, it can. So it's all in the thoughts. 00:03:52.96\00:03:56.03 United Negro College Fund says, 00:03:56.06\00:03:57.40 "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." 00:03:57.43\00:03:58.77 Terrible thing to waste. 00:03:58.80\00:04:00.14 As a graduate of Oakwood... 00:04:00.17\00:04:01.50 Or not to have at all according to the president. 00:04:01.54\00:04:03.17 At Oakwood University. Misquoting it badly. 00:04:03.20\00:04:06.37 President Bush it was. The President Bush. 00:04:06.41\00:04:08.04 But we said that, you know, when I went to Oakwood 00:04:08.08\00:04:10.18 when Dr. Reaves was our president, 00:04:10.21\00:04:11.55 you know, "Enter to learn, depart to serve," 00:04:11.58\00:04:13.15 you know, how are we using our minds. 00:04:13.18\00:04:15.15 And this really caught me 00:04:15.18\00:04:17.29 because, you know, 00:04:17.32\00:04:18.65 it was found in his heart and his mind, 00:04:18.69\00:04:20.02 he was thinking, he was speculating, 00:04:20.06\00:04:21.66 "Why can't I get the same worship 00:04:21.69\00:04:23.66 and honor as Michael? 00:04:23.69\00:04:25.23 Why can't I have the same, you know, place, 00:04:25.26\00:04:28.43 go to the councils of God like Michael? 00:04:28.46\00:04:30.53 You know, why am I being discriminated against?" 00:04:30.57\00:04:32.90 Well, jealousy and ambition all mixed in together. 00:04:32.93\00:04:37.34 But let me link to something contemporary 00:04:37.37\00:04:39.11 before you slide on by. 00:04:39.14\00:04:40.48 Okay. 00:04:40.51\00:04:41.84 You know, we've seen a number of disasters recently 00:04:41.88\00:04:44.11 and I don't know when this will be shown, 00:04:44.15\00:04:45.55 I hope sooner rather than later, 00:04:45.58\00:04:47.42 but in Puerto Rico, disaster, right? 00:04:47.45\00:04:50.42 And I heard a comment that came from the community there. 00:04:50.45\00:04:53.32 It was, not one person said it 00:04:53.36\00:04:55.16 but it was on behalf of the community, 00:04:55.19\00:04:56.66 it says, "How come this is happening to us? 00:04:56.69\00:04:58.99 We're Roman Catholic Christians, 00:04:59.03\00:05:00.73 why is this happening to us?" 00:05:00.76\00:05:02.40 And, you know, often Christians and people of faith, 00:05:02.43\00:05:05.27 of any faith, not just Christians say that, 00:05:05.30\00:05:07.47 but in this regard, 00:05:07.50\00:05:08.84 why would they say it after reading Great Controversy? 00:05:08.87\00:05:11.11 They've forgotten about the bipolar universe. 00:05:11.14\00:05:14.48 That's right, that's right. 00:05:14.51\00:05:15.84 They think if bad comes, it's from God. It doesn't. 00:05:15.88\00:05:18.25 Absolutely not. This is the antagonistic force. 00:05:18.28\00:05:19.61 You know, we all go through trials and tribulations. 00:05:19.65\00:05:21.75 We all go through persecution, 00:05:21.78\00:05:23.85 but it's our faith that cannot fail. 00:05:23.89\00:05:26.19 And that's why I was 00:05:26.22\00:05:27.56 when we talk about Revelation 12:7-9, 00:05:27.59\00:05:29.02 it's not only the war in the mind 00:05:29.06\00:05:30.83 but it's also the war on faith. 00:05:30.86\00:05:32.39 Can you believe God 00:05:32.43\00:05:34.26 when you go through trials and tribulation? 00:05:34.30\00:05:35.86 I mean, I think the same thing 00:05:35.90\00:05:37.23 when I lost my grandfather, when I lost my dad. 00:05:37.27\00:05:39.37 Do I believe "Weeping may endure for the night 00:05:39.40\00:05:41.27 and joy cometh in the morning"? 00:05:41.30\00:05:42.74 Do I believe that the Lord's is going to descend from heaven 00:05:42.77\00:05:45.17 with a shout and the dead in Christ are gonna rise? 00:05:45.21\00:05:47.31 I mean, do I believe what I'm reading, 00:05:47.34\00:05:50.51 what I'm preaching, what I'm talking about, 00:05:50.55\00:05:52.75 what I've learned in family worship? 00:05:52.78\00:05:54.48 You know, you talk about the three-legged school, 00:05:54.52\00:05:56.18 the home, the school, and the church, 00:05:56.22\00:05:57.75 do I actually believe 00:05:57.79\00:05:59.69 what I've been hearing or reciting 00:05:59.72\00:06:01.96 whether it's 13 Sabbath school and they paraded us in front, 00:06:01.99\00:06:04.56 we quote these things in school, do I believe? 00:06:04.59\00:06:07.10 That whole thing about faith... 00:06:07.13\00:06:08.46 That's the nitty-gritty of each of us. 00:06:08.50\00:06:09.83 Is really, really important, 00:06:09.86\00:06:11.30 we hit it on our previous show 00:06:11.33\00:06:12.67 when we talked "Is my faith 'what if' or is it 'even if'?" 00:06:12.70\00:06:16.17 Yeah. And we need these challenges. 00:06:16.20\00:06:21.14 We need these trials and tribulations, 00:06:21.18\00:06:23.48 as Paul calls it, "A thorn in my side," 00:06:23.51\00:06:26.08 you know, in terms of to keep us awake 00:06:26.11\00:06:29.15 'cause it's so easy that we could just drift to sleep 00:06:29.18\00:06:31.69 and salvation is passing us by. 00:06:31.72\00:06:34.76 We need these wakeup calls. Right. 00:06:34.79\00:06:36.73 And also the issue 00:06:36.76\00:06:38.09 is in its overall sense is very plain, 00:06:38.13\00:06:40.60 but the argument is very subtle. 00:06:40.63\00:06:43.73 Otherwise, a third of the angels 00:06:43.77\00:06:45.33 wouldn't have got out on this. 00:06:45.37\00:06:46.70 Absolutely. 00:06:46.74\00:06:48.07 So people need to really figure out 00:06:48.10\00:06:50.04 and analyze The Great Controversy, 00:06:50.07\00:06:52.71 what it's about and what role they'll play in it. 00:06:52.74\00:06:55.74 And the Bible is very clear to study 00:06:55.78\00:06:57.28 to show ourselves approved. 00:06:57.31\00:06:59.08 We've got to understand deception and slander. 00:06:59.11\00:07:02.02 It happens at our constituency meetings. 00:07:02.05\00:07:04.22 It happens at our board meetings. 00:07:04.25\00:07:06.15 We've got to pay attention and you've got to listen. 00:07:06.19\00:07:08.96 Even at the voting booth. At the voting booth, yeah. 00:07:08.99\00:07:11.23 You've got to pay attention. 00:07:11.26\00:07:13.03 And the problem we're having is 00:07:13.06\00:07:14.46 when people come to church and they're seeing things, 00:07:14.50\00:07:17.03 they're always quoting what the preacher said. 00:07:17.07\00:07:19.87 I'm like, "What did the Bible say?" 00:07:19.90\00:07:21.44 Yeah, good point. 00:07:21.47\00:07:22.80 I mean, the Bible is the inspired Word of God. 00:07:22.84\00:07:25.27 The Bible is responsible for rebuke, 00:07:25.31\00:07:27.74 instruction to righteousness, and correction. 00:07:27.78\00:07:29.94 What does the Bible say? 00:07:29.98\00:07:31.88 And we have too many people quoting preachers 00:07:31.91\00:07:35.35 instead of knowing the Bible for themselves. 00:07:35.38\00:07:36.72 Right, they need to know it. 00:07:36.75\00:07:38.09 On religious liberty, especially in the US, 00:07:38.12\00:07:39.45 I have to throw in a little, 00:07:39.49\00:07:40.82 you know, a lot of it is based on 00:07:40.86\00:07:42.19 the constitution models, right? 00:07:42.22\00:07:43.56 That is true. 00:07:43.59\00:07:44.93 And even that sort of troubles me 00:07:44.96\00:07:46.73 because more and more I've come to believe 00:07:46.76\00:07:48.46 very few people know what's in the constitution 00:07:48.50\00:07:51.10 and what they think they know nearly always 00:07:51.13\00:07:53.07 is the Declaration of Independence. 00:07:53.10\00:07:55.20 And the same thing applies to the Bible truth. 00:07:55.24\00:07:57.77 We need to know what the Bible says 00:07:57.81\00:07:59.47 not what people say about the Bible. 00:07:59.51\00:08:02.01 And then you also need to also study. 00:08:02.04\00:08:04.18 I mean, I invite people to give commentaries, 00:08:04.21\00:08:06.65 I invite people to read 00:08:06.68\00:08:08.02 different translations of the Bible, 00:08:08.05\00:08:11.15 you know, NIV, New King James, you know, what have you. 00:08:11.19\00:08:14.19 And to know... 00:08:14.22\00:08:15.56 Now you're getting onto my hobby-horse, 00:08:15.59\00:08:16.96 to know that some are not translations 00:08:16.99\00:08:19.59 but they're paraphrases. 00:08:19.63\00:08:20.96 Paraphrases. 00:08:21.00\00:08:22.33 There's definitely the clear word Bible 00:08:22.36\00:08:23.70 and the message Bible. 00:08:23.73\00:08:25.07 You're on that. 00:08:25.10\00:08:26.43 I think that NJKV... 00:08:26.47\00:08:27.80 But more than that to know what bias might be 00:08:27.84\00:08:29.80 with a certain translation like the King James Version. 00:08:29.84\00:08:32.44 Most people don't know that 00:08:32.47\00:08:33.81 that was designed to uphold 00:08:33.84\00:08:35.18 the authority of the king at a time 00:08:35.21\00:08:36.95 when his divine authority was being challenged. 00:08:36.98\00:08:40.58 That's why we had to have a new one. 00:08:40.62\00:08:41.95 Right. The New King James Version. 00:08:41.98\00:08:43.32 It's a pretty good version. Right. 00:08:43.35\00:08:44.69 I like King James for the point of language, 00:08:44.72\00:08:46.25 but there was a built in bias to the translation, 00:08:46.29\00:08:47.99 there's no question. 00:08:48.02\00:08:49.36 And, you know, NIV is known as our study Bible 00:08:49.39\00:08:51.16 in terms of the accurate depiction of the Greek 00:08:51.19\00:08:54.43 as related to the Greek and the Hebrew versions. 00:08:54.46\00:08:55.80 Now I want to throw something in though. 00:08:55.83\00:08:57.23 You gave me the perfect opportunity. 00:08:57.27\00:08:59.47 We're... 00:08:59.50\00:09:00.87 I hate to give away the time of this filming, 00:09:00.90\00:09:02.64 but we're at the tail end of 2017, 00:09:02.67\00:09:06.47 which is among other disasters... 00:09:06.51\00:09:08.91 well, not other, 00:09:08.94\00:09:10.28 among disasters had a wonderful moment of remembrance, 00:09:10.31\00:09:13.31 the Reformation as defined as it could be, 00:09:13.35\00:09:17.69 but it's not the only event 00:09:17.72\00:09:19.05 of Martin Luther's Ninety-five Theses. 00:09:19.09\00:09:22.92 But, you know, 00:09:22.96\00:09:24.29 what was the central point of that at least, 00:09:24.33\00:09:25.66 the calling card of the Reformation, 00:09:25.69\00:09:27.16 sola scriptura? 00:09:27.20\00:09:28.53 That's right. 00:09:28.56\00:09:29.90 It was about... Read the work. 00:09:29.93\00:09:31.27 And I was very taken with a few years ago, 00:09:31.30\00:09:34.34 Pope Benedict brought out a... 00:09:34.37\00:09:36.81 well, not a document, 00:09:36.84\00:09:38.17 he gave a speech at Regensburg University. 00:09:38.21\00:09:40.34 Okay. 00:09:40.38\00:09:42.28 I'll repeat this as often as I can. 00:09:42.31\00:09:43.78 No one reads these speeches or these documents. 00:09:43.81\00:09:46.21 He gave a speech, 00:09:46.25\00:09:47.58 he got into trouble with the Muslims 00:09:47.62\00:09:48.95 because he used an old example 00:09:48.98\00:09:50.85 that apparently connected Islam with violence, 00:09:50.89\00:09:54.46 but then he said 00:09:54.49\00:09:55.82 there Christianity used to be nonviolent... 00:09:55.86\00:09:59.93 Sorry, used to be violent 00:09:59.96\00:10:02.10 until it adopted Hellenistic rationality. 00:10:02.13\00:10:05.87 You and I can say paganism, right? 00:10:05.90\00:10:08.10 Although his premise was wrong. 00:10:08.14\00:10:09.50 But then he said there are three threats 00:10:09.54\00:10:11.77 to this nonviolent Christianity. 00:10:11.81\00:10:13.38 And you know what the first one was? 00:10:13.41\00:10:14.74 What was that? 00:10:14.78\00:10:16.11 He said the reformers 00:10:16.14\00:10:17.48 by their insistence on sola scriptura 00:10:17.51\00:10:19.01 exposed Christianity again to violence. 00:10:19.05\00:10:22.25 But you and I know and our listeners must know 00:10:22.28\00:10:25.15 that it's a protection to know God's Word. 00:10:25.19\00:10:27.46 Absolutely. 00:10:27.49\00:10:28.82 But, you know, it's interesting when you said to read these, 00:10:28.86\00:10:30.29 it's the same thing with the simplica, 00:10:30.33\00:10:31.66 everybody got excited 00:10:31.69\00:10:33.03 because it was talking about the environment, and recycling, 00:10:33.06\00:10:35.33 impact the environment, but they didn't read it. 00:10:35.36\00:10:37.43 There was two things that that simplica could call for 00:10:37.47\00:10:40.60 but they refused to read it because they wanted to say 00:10:40.64\00:10:42.74 what was in the paper, the mainstream media, 00:10:42.77\00:10:45.57 it called for true world order 00:10:45.61\00:10:47.58 and then said there's no difference 00:10:47.61\00:10:49.51 between worshipping on Sabbath and Sunday. 00:10:49.54\00:10:52.31 And it upheld the Seventh-day Sabbath, 00:10:52.35\00:10:54.52 but then it flipped it to the Eucharistic Sunday. 00:10:54.55\00:10:57.05 It was said there's no difference, 00:10:57.09\00:10:58.42 what they're saying. 00:10:58.45\00:10:59.79 And people are understanding, you know, what that means. 00:10:59.82\00:11:02.82 You know, the Sabbath is the only day, 00:11:02.86\00:11:04.19 not only He blessed it, but He hallowed it, 00:11:04.23\00:11:06.19 that means He sanctified it and set it apart. 00:11:06.23\00:11:08.20 We can worship God every day of the week. 00:11:08.23\00:11:09.93 I would encourage everybody 00:11:09.96\00:11:11.30 to worship God every day of the week. 00:11:11.33\00:11:12.67 And I don't see that as a Catholic issue. 00:11:12.70\00:11:14.04 No. No, no. 00:11:14.07\00:11:15.40 We're not Catholic, 00:11:15.44\00:11:16.77 but it's respect to this Great Controversy. 00:11:16.81\00:11:18.41 God's way or what I think might be fun, 00:11:18.44\00:11:21.21 you know, beside the Lucifer or Cain, 00:11:21.24\00:11:25.51 man is tried at many different ways 00:11:25.55\00:11:27.25 without going back to the reference point of 00:11:27.28\00:11:28.92 what God is requiring in heaven's order. 00:11:28.95\00:11:31.05 And then our people are feeling comfortable. 00:11:31.09\00:11:32.69 Well, we know we did take a survey 00:11:32.72\00:11:34.26 and, you know, the majority people don't think 00:11:34.29\00:11:37.36 we have to follow the Bible. 00:11:37.39\00:11:38.73 You can't vote away a theocracy. 00:11:38.76\00:11:40.63 And we have to be... I know. 00:11:40.66\00:11:42.00 And I say this all the time, 00:11:42.03\00:11:43.37 we have to be conservative with our doctrines 00:11:43.40\00:11:46.10 but liberal with our love 00:11:46.13\00:11:47.97 and that's just something you can't waver on. 00:11:48.00\00:11:50.74 Now having said that though, 00:11:50.77\00:11:52.27 we are known as Christians for our love, 00:11:52.31\00:11:54.98 and therefore, we can expect people... 00:11:55.01\00:11:56.34 We should be. We should be. 00:11:56.38\00:11:57.71 It says, "They will know we are Christians by our..." 00:11:57.75\00:11:59.91 So if there is a love in our Christians, 00:11:59.95\00:12:02.05 even though we take the name, the name could be taken easy 00:12:02.08\00:12:04.72 but that is showing by your behavior. 00:12:04.75\00:12:06.86 And that's what makes 00:12:06.89\00:12:08.62 Public Affairs and Religious Liberty 00:12:08.66\00:12:10.49 so exciting in the 21st century where we can hasten the... 00:12:10.53\00:12:14.23 I believe Public Affairs and Religious Liberty ministry 00:12:14.26\00:12:16.40 is the ministry that will hasten 00:12:16.43\00:12:18.27 the second coming of Christ, 00:12:18.30\00:12:19.73 but we have to show it in our behavior. 00:12:19.77\00:12:22.54 And then through our behavior, 00:12:22.57\00:12:24.91 we can educate people 00:12:24.94\00:12:26.27 how to have relationships with Christ, 00:12:26.31\00:12:27.91 then we could go into Daniel and Revelation 00:12:27.94\00:12:30.25 and talk about the beast and what those represent 00:12:30.28\00:12:32.65 and where we are as it relates to the end of time 00:12:32.68\00:12:35.25 because I'm all for Daniel and Revelation, 00:12:35.28\00:12:37.49 but let's get people to have a relationship with God first. 00:12:37.52\00:12:40.52 Well, the beast has been a teaching mechanism to some, 00:12:40.56\00:12:43.02 but if you focus on the beast, you forget the real issue. 00:12:43.06\00:12:46.29 And we need to do that 00:12:46.33\00:12:47.66 and I'm seeing that over and over and over again, 00:12:47.70\00:12:49.56 and I'm all for Daniel and Revelation seminars, 00:12:49.60\00:12:52.07 but people need to know God first. 00:12:52.10\00:12:54.24 They need to have that thing. 00:12:54.27\00:12:55.60 And that might mean you have to create 00:12:55.64\00:12:56.97 your own evangelistic pieces, and that's okay 00:12:57.01\00:12:59.34 because everything doesn't have to be prepackaged 00:12:59.37\00:13:00.88 in order for it to be taught. 00:13:00.91\00:13:02.24 But meet the needs of your local community 00:13:02.28\00:13:04.41 by, what, Public Affairs and Religious Liberty 00:13:04.45\00:13:06.61 and you can make a difference. 00:13:06.65\00:13:08.68 Good breakpoint. 00:13:08.72\00:13:10.05 We'll be back after a short break 00:13:10.09\00:13:11.45 to continue this discussion of The Great Controversy, 00:13:11.49\00:13:14.86 the bipolar world. 00:13:14.89\00:13:16.96
