00:05 Before the break, little later in New Zealand, 00:09 now on our program-- before the break 00:12 I asked Tim, you know, to ask him, 00:15 putting on the spot, you know, 00:16 what he tried to do with your lecture series? 00:19 And so-- So number one-- 00:21 Here's the summation? 00:22 Lead people to Jesus-- 00:24 That's a good thing. 00:25 Lead people to take the Bible seriously 00:27 and after that, that they'll never again 00:30 be able to listen to world news 00:32 without thinking of God in the Bible. 00:35 That's a good go, I like that. 00:36 And that's effective. 00:38 We have people from many different denominations 00:41 attending our seminars 00:42 and they're buying our materials 00:43 and there are pastors taking to their churches 00:46 of different denominations and sharing it. 00:48 As I'm sure you'd be 00:49 the first one to acknowledge that, 00:52 its not necessary to unencrypted 00:56 any particular prophecy to ever saving relationship to God, 01:00 but I mean that in itself, 01:03 although I think myself when something like that 01:07 faces you to sort of close your mind 01:08 and say, "I don't want to know." 01:10 That's dangerous. 01:11 I'm not really sure, 01:12 much good spiritually falls from that. 01:15 No, God won't hide us from our chosen hindrance, 01:18 but thankfully He protects us from -- 01:20 He wins, certainly He wins. 01:21 He protects us from our actual weakness not chosen weakness. 01:25 Weakness to our ignorance. 01:26 Ignorance, yes. 01:27 But not presumption, presumptions never forgiven. 01:30 But yeah, now, this is-- 01:34 I think, you're in a bold adventure that 01:36 so far has panned out pretty well for you 01:38 and for those that hear the program. 01:40 Yeah, for four years, we've been doing this full-time 01:42 and two, three years before that part-time. 01:45 Wow. 01:46 And is there another book coming? 01:48 Yes. 01:50 Well, you're waiting to see 01:51 what happens with the ISIS and the-- 01:52 No. 01:54 Its probably gonna be quite a few months down the line. 01:56 I've just began the process of headed towards an update 02:00 where revised version of this book 02:04 adding a lot of things that I've learned 02:05 since this was written. 02:07 I think, back in 2011 when I wrote this book 02:10 and think, "Wow, I didn't know very much, back then." 02:14 And the world has changed. 02:15 The world is changed and I-- 02:17 Not the Daniel 11, but the world. 02:18 No, but I've learned 02:19 a tremendous amount in Daniel 11 since then. 02:22 The second printing of the book actually, 02:23 I got to add some things to the appendix. 02:25 But that's about all there that was allowed to change. 02:27 So he that out there anybody 02:29 that's already bought this book, 02:30 its superseded, then you got to buy it. 02:31 Well, not yet, is it be about a year away. 02:34 I used to be a record collector and you'll buy an album 02:38 and then the year later they would come out 02:39 with same album with one extra song added. 02:41 We'll have to buy it. 02:43 Well, I wish you the ever success on this ministry, 02:46 and I'm sure its only going to get more rewarding 02:49 for you and more widely heard by people, 02:51 all across the US and indeed, all around the world. 02:54 So God bless you, and any parting shots? 02:58 You know, the good news is, 02:59 we don't have to agree on everything, 03:02 we need to be focused on Jesus Christ. 03:04 We may have some areas of disagreement, 03:06 but as long as we're all focusing on Jesus, 03:08 we're gonna be okay. 03:09 The Shroud of Turin not withstanding 03:13 it's remarkable that in the New Testament 03:16 after Jesus had risen from the dead, 03:19 how few people seem to recognize him. 03:22 Remember, Mary 03:23 in the garden weeping for Jesus, 03:25 thinking that His body had been stolen 03:28 was surprised by Jesus who appeared before her 03:30 and spoke kindly to her and she didn't recognize Him. 03:35 And the two, on the way to Emmaus 03:37 spoke to Him a long time. 03:39 And it was only over candlelight, 03:42 I'm sure, not the lighting there 03:45 in that quiet little supper that this Jesus prayed, 03:48 they recognized His style, obviously not His visage. 03:53 There's something I think is a model for us 03:56 with worshippers of and followers 03:58 of Jesus Christ to realize 04:00 that His face is not the most important thing, 04:03 it's what He stands for, 04:04 the communication from heaven that He brought. 04:08 And yes, the Old Testament as the Quran, 04:11 warns us against making graven images 04:14 and worshipping the visage of anything, 04:16 out of wood, stone or even out of the flesh 04:19 that was dwelt by divinity. 04:22 We need to see the face of Jesus naturally. 04:27 For Liberty Insider, this is Lincoln Steed. |
