Adventist church begin studying

and decided to
become a member and become

baptized into the
church. I had been working with

the human resources
manager at that time.

The pastor actually
wrote a letter to go with

me that I could
take to them just to show

what our believes

There were times where
we went for making very

good money from
making no money. They denied

my employment and
so we were just doing

to make money. I think

a lot of people
especially within our

family that are not
Adventists at first just

didn't get it and a
lot of my, specifically my

brothers and
sisters thought I was nuts

because you know
how do you give up a job

like this, just go
to work on Saturday.

The job market was
terrible. I mean it

was just nobody was
finding jobs, businesses

were closing down
and it was a very hard

period of time for
most of the country;

friend of mine a
church member Mike Harris,

contacted me and said
that I needed to contact

because we actually
had a rent agreement

accommodations that I
was given. They actually

followed up with the
EEOC and filed a charge

against this company through

religious discrimination.

I believe
completely in my heart that

everybody is called in
to Ministry. When I first

the Lord, I immediately

having any money
to be able to do that,

but feeling convicted
that's what the Lord is

calling us to do. Right

the settlement offer
and it's the amount that we

and be involved in Ministry.

requires incredible faith and

be able to step to put

funds that are raised in our

situations and try to alleviate
