00:06 Let's all praise the Lord 00:09 We'll sing out loud Our voice is raising 00:12 Let's all praise the Lord 00:15 Hallelujah Hallelujah 00:22 We'll tell the world How much we love Him 00:25 Let's all praise 00:27 Come on, let's all praise the Lord 00:32 Hi, boys and girls, 00:33 have you noticed that when you really like someone, 00:36 you want to spend lots of time with them. 00:39 When two people decide to get married, 00:41 it's because they love each other so much 00:44 that they want to make a commitment 00:46 to spend the rest of their lives together. 00:48 Now, that's a big promise to make, isn't it? 00:51 But just like married people make a commitment 00:53 because of love, 00:55 we too can make the same commitment to Jesus 00:58 because we love Him. 01:01 When you surrender your life to Jesus 01:03 and decide to follow Him, 01:05 you will experience the victorious life 01:08 God wants you to live. 01:10 Let's listen as Alessandra sings "Victory in Jesus." 01:16 1 Corinthians 15:57 reads, "Thanks be to God, 01:21 who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 01:26 I heard an old, old story 01:30 How a Savior came from glory 01:34 How He gave His life on Calvary 01:38 To save a wretch like me 01:41 I heard about His groaning 01:46 Of His precious blood's atoning 01:49 Then I repented of my sins 01:54 And won the victory 01:58 O victory in Jesus 02:01 My Savior, forever 02:06 He sought me and bought me 02:10 With His redeeming blood 02:14 He loved me ere I knew Him 02:18 And all my love is due Him 02:22 He plunged me to victory 02:26 Beneath the cleansing flood 02:30 I heard about a mansion 02:34 He has built for me in glory 02:38 And I heard about the streets of gold 02:42 Beyond the crystal sea 02:47 About the angels singing 02:51 And the old redemption story 02:55 And some sweet day I'll sing up there 02:59 The song of victory 03:03 O victory in Jesus 03:07 My Savior, forever 03:11 He sought me and bought me 03:15 With His redeeming blood 03:19 He loved me ere I knew Him 03:23 And all my love is due Him 03:27 He plunged me to victory 03:32 Beneath the cleansing flood 03:36 He plunged me to victory 03:40 Beneath the cleansing flood 03:50 When you're tempted to do something 03:52 that you know isn't right, 03:54 is there a still small voice telling you not to do it, 03:58 that still small voice is the Holy Spirit 04:01 and he talks to each of our hearts every day. 04:04 We can either decide to ignore the voice or obey it. 04:09 Jesus always talks to us softly and tenderly. 04:12 And He never forces His way into our hearts. 04:15 No one likes to be yelled out 04:17 when they do something wrong, do they? 04:19 That just makes you want to maybe 04:21 go the other way and rebel. 04:23 Often if we're told nicely, 04:25 we are more likely to obey, right? 04:27 Let's listen to Kenneth's violin solo reminding us 04:30 that Jesus is calling softly and tenderly. 05:50 Boys and girls, do you make your parents proud? 05:53 Do you obey when they ask you to do something? 05:55 Maybe it's with house chores or picking up your toys, 05:59 or maybe it's the way you treat your brother or sister 06:01 or how you talk to your parents. 06:04 We want to make our parents proud, don't we? 06:07 We also want to make our heavenly Father proud. 06:10 And just like our parents will never give up on us, 06:13 neither does our heavenly Father. 06:16 He's always working with us very patiently. 06:19 We are a work in progress. 06:22 And like Mirielle song says, "I Haven't Turned Out Yet." 06:35 The other day 06:37 I heard my mom 06:40 complaining to my dad 06:43 It seemed she was quite certain 06:47 I was turning out all bad 06:51 And so that night 06:52 when she came in to tuck me into bed 06:58 I asked her to sit down a while 07:02 and this is what I said 07:06 I said, "Mom you do not need to worry" 07:12 I said "Mom 07:15 you do not need to fret 07:20 I hear the things you tell me 07:24 I never will forget. 07:27 Someday, I'll be a grown up 07:31 And you'll be proud I'll bet 07:35 You see I'm still a kid mom 07:38 I haven't turned out yet" 07:44 My dad was tellin' grandpa 07:48 he was worried as could be 07:52 It seemed his heart was broken' 07:55 he was so ashamed of me 07:59 And so that night instead of mom, 08:02 twas Dad who tucked me in 08:06 I asked him to sit down awhile, 08:10 and this is what I said 08:13 I said, "Dad you do not need to worry" 08:20 I said, "Dad 08:23 you do not need to fret 08:28 That spankin you just gave me 08:31 I never will forget 08:35 Someday I'll be a grown up 08:39 and you'll be proud I'll bet 08:42 You see I'm still a kid dad 08:46 I haven't turned out yet" 08:50 A little later that same night 08:55 I heard both mom and dad 08:58 I peeked through the keyhole, 09:02 they were kneeling by their bed 09:05 With arms around each 09:09 other, they were talkin' kind of sad 09:12 It seems that they were prayin' 09:16 cause this what they said 09:20 They said, "God we ask you to forgive us" 09:26 They said, "God 09:29 we're so quick to forget 09:34 We were kids not long ago 09:38 and we're not grown up yet 09:41 So let us be unkind Lord, 09:45 or do things we'll regret 09:49 Be patient with us please Lord 09:52 We haven't turned out yet 09:56 Keep workin' with us please Lord 10:01 We haven't turned out yet 10:19 Laying down your life for someone 10:21 is not something you do every day. 10:23 However, soldiers are asked to do that when fighting a war. 10:27 I know that your parents would do the same 10:29 for you too wouldn't they? 10:30 They would give their life for you. 10:32 You really have to love and believe in someone 10:35 to be able to say, I'll lay down my life for you. 10:39 Because we love and adore Jesus, 10:42 we will want to lay our life before Him and say, Jesus, 10:46 You do whatever You want with my life 10:48 and I'm willing to serve You. 10:51 Let's listen as Leon sings that familiar chorus, 10:54 "Father I Adore You." 11:01 Father, I adore You 11:06 Lay my life before You 11:11 How I love You 11:15 Jesus, I adore You 11:20 Lay my life before You 11:24 How I love You 11:29 Spirit, I adore You 11:33 Lay my life before You 11:37 How I love You 11:48 Jesus is constantly knocking on the door of your heart. 11:51 He will never push His way in. 11:54 That's why He knocks. 11:56 And only if you open the door will He come into your life. 12:00 He really wants to be part of your life every day. 12:04 Let's sing to a wonderful bluegrass song 12:06 from the Ward Family called, "I'm Ready to Go." 12:13 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 12:27 In the darkness of night, not a star was in sight 12:30 On the highway that leads down below 12:33 Then Jesus came in and saved us all from sin 12:36 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 12:39 Hallelujah, I'm ready I'm ready 12:42 I can hear the voices singing soft and low 12:45 Hallelujah I'm ready I'm ready 12:48 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 13:17 Sinners don't wait till for it's too late 13:20 He's a wonderful savior you know 13:23 Well I fell on my knees and he answered my plea's 13:26 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 13:29 Hallelujah I'm ready I'm ready 13:32 I can hear the voices singing soft and low 13:35 Hallelujah I'm ready I'm ready 13:38 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 14:06 Hallelujah I'm ready I'm ready 14:09 I can hear the voices singing soft and low 14:12 Hallelujah I'm ready I'm ready 14:15 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 14:18 Hallelujah, I'm ready to go 14:29 Do you know what it means to surrender? 14:31 In a war it can mean that one side gives up 14:34 and lets the other side win. 14:37 We're living in a world where there is a constant battle 14:40 between good and evil. 14:42 And we need to surrender to Jesus side 14:45 and give in to Him. 14:46 It means to totally trust Him in all of our decisions, 14:49 no matter how great or small, and to walk with Him daily. 14:54 Isabel is going to sing the beautiful hymn in Spanish, 14:57 "I Surrender All." 17:06 Do you want to shine for Jesus every day? 17:09 Do you want to act like Jesus in all that you do? 17:11 Ask Him today to change you completely 17:15 and give you a purer and willing heart, 17:18 then trust God's power to help you 17:20 to do good things for His kingdom. 17:22 Let's listen as James sings this beautiful song 17:25 "Sanctuary." 17:35 Lord prepare me 17:38 to be a sanctuary 17:43 Pure and holy, 17:47 tried and true 17:50 With thanksgiving 17:54 I'll be a living 17:58 Sanctuary 18:02 for you 18:06 Lord prepare me 18:09 To be a missionary 18:14 Pure and holy, 18:18 tried and true 18:22 With thanksgiving 18:26 I'll be a living 18:30 Sanctuary for you 18:42 Boys and girls, 18:44 you are children of the King of the universe 18:46 and some day you will inherit mansion that 18:49 He is preparing for you right now in heaven. 18:53 All we need to do is give our hearts to Him 18:56 and follow Jesus. 18:57 The Kids Time Singers are going to sing a song 18:59 about following in the "Footprints of Jesus." 19:08 Footprints of Jesus 19:12 Are leading the way 19:17 Footprints of Jesus 19:21 by night and by day 19:25 I know if I follow, 19:30 my life would be sweet 19:34 For I'm saved, oh yes, 19:38 By His wounded feet 19:43 They led Him to Bethany, 19:47 And that's where He stayed 19:52 Then on to Gethsemane, 19:56 And that's where he prayed 20:00 Then on to Mount Calvary, 20:04 Salvation so sweet 20:09 For I'm saved, oh yes, 20:13 By His wounded feet 20:18 Once I was lost, 20:22 And He heard my cry 20:27 I looked to Him 20:30 For mansions on high 20:35 He lifted my burden, 20:39 and now I can sing 20:44 "Glory to God, Glory to God 20:48 I'm a child of the king" 20:57 When we decide to follow Jesus, 20:59 there is no hurdle too big or too small. 21:02 Philippians 4:13 tells us that "We can do all things 21:07 through Christ who gives us strength." 21:09 In the Old Testament, 21:10 we find the story of Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. 21:14 Now, this mighty man of God 21:16 devoted his whole life to following God 21:19 and trusted God with all his heart. 21:21 Do you know the story? 21:23 Oh, yes, God told him to walk around the walls of Jericho 21:26 with the Israelites seven times, blow their trumpets 21:29 and make lots and lots of noise. 21:31 And do you know what happened next? 21:33 The walls crashed and God gave them the victory. 21:37 Wow! 21:39 Boys and girls, when you follow Jesus and obey Him, 21:42 God will always give you the victory, 21:44 so you can praise 21:46 and glorify Him in all that He has done for you. 21:48 Let's listen to Geoff play 21:50 "Joshua fought the Battle of Jericho" on his trumpet. 24:40 The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 24:42 that we have all sinned 24:44 and fallen short of the glory of God. 24:47 Now that means everybody, but here is the good news, 24:50 John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world so much 24:54 that He sent His only Son, 24:56 so that whoever believes in Him will not perish 25:00 but have eternal life. 25:02 Isn't that good news? 25:04 Let's praise God for His amazing love as Samara sings 25:08 "Love Lifted Me." 25:15 Love lifted me! 25:19 Love lifted me! 25:23 When nothing else could help 25:27 Love lifted me 25:30 Love lifted me! 25:34 Love lifted me! 25:38 When nothing else could help 25:42 Love lifted me 25:46 Love lifted me 25:50 Love lifted me 25:54 When nothing else could help 25:58 Love lifted me 26:01 Love lifted me 26:05 Love lifted me 26:09 When nothing else could help 26:13 Love lifted me 26:23 Boys and girls, don't you want to decide to follow Jesus. 26:27 You will be so happy that you did. 26:30 So if you want to get to know Jesus better, 26:32 read His holy word and you'll get to know Him 26:35 as your very own special friend. 26:37 That's all the time we have today. 26:39 Remember, boys and girls, it's Kids Time to praise Jesus. |
