00:02 Come join in singing
00:04 Join in praising 00:06 Let's all praise the Lord 00:08 We'll sing out loud 00:10 Our voice is raising 00:12 Let's all praise the Lord 00:15 Hallelujah Hallelujah 00:22 We'll tell the world 00:23 How much we love Him 00:25 Let's all praise 00:27 Come on, let's all praise the Lord. 00:32 Hi, boys and girls. 00:34 Today I want you to think about what you would like to be 00:37 when you grow up? 00:38 Maybe you want to be a teacher, or a doctor, 00:41 or maybe a scientist. 00:43 Well, let's say that you decide that you want to be an artist, 00:46 and so you study all about art 00:49 in the different artistic methods 00:51 and learn about all the famous artists in history. 00:54 You might even buy all the right tools, 00:56 paints and paint brushes and canvases, 00:59 just so you can paint a beautiful picture. 01:02 Now are you an artist? 01:04 No, in order to be an actual artist, 01:08 you must pick up a paint brush 01:09 and practice what you've learned. 01:12 You have to start painting, 01:14 the same goes for working for Jesus. 01:16 In order to be affective in His service, 01:19 you have to put everything you've learned about Him 01:21 to use. 01:23 God gave you two very important tools 01:25 that you need to work for Him. 01:27 Do you know what they are? Your hands. 01:30 Think about how you can use your hands to share God's love 01:34 as you listen to Lenova sing, ''God Made Our Hands". 01:48 God made our hands 01:53 To give and receive His blessings 01:58 He made each voice 02:02 For singing a happy song 02:07 God made our feet 02:11 To walk on a path of rainbows 02:16 He made a smile 02:20 For smiling the whole day long 02:25 God gave us eyes 02:29 And filled all the earth with beauty 02:35 Sunshine and trees 02:38 And stars above 02:44 Wonder of love 02:48 He gave us a gift so special 02:54 God gave us a heart 02:57 To share His love! 03:07 Did you know that your face has 43 muscles? 03:11 And those muscles control the facial expressions 03:14 that you make. 03:15 Of them all, the most powerful facial expression 03:18 is our smile. 03:20 That's because smiling is contagious. 03:23 When you smile at someone, 03:25 not only does your brain feel happy 03:27 but the other person's brain tells them 03:29 that they should return the favour. 03:31 So if you see someone that's not having a good day, 03:35 smile at them. 03:36 Chances are that they will smile back 03:39 giving them a little happy boost. 03:42 It might be what they need to turn their day 03:44 from bad to good. 03:46 Keep smiling while The Philpott Trio sings, 03:49 Always Cheerful. 03:52 The Bible says in Proverbs 15:13, 03:55 " A happy heart makes the face cheerful." 04:02 Let our hearts be always cheerful 04:06 Why should murmuring enter there? 04:10 When our kind and loving Father 04:15 Makes us children of his care 04:19 Always cheerful, always cheerful 04:24 Sunshine all around we see 04:28 Full of beauty is the path of duty 04:32 Cheerful we may always be 04:37 With his gentle hand to lead us 04:41 Should the powers of sin assail 04:46 He has promised grace to help us 04:50 Never can his promise fail 04:55 Always cheerful, always cheerful 04:59 Sunshine all around we see 05:03 Full of beauty is the path of duty 05:08 Cheerful we may always be. 05:15 Because He loves us so much, 05:18 God gives us the joyful privilege 05:20 of working for Him. 05:22 Share the love you have in your heart with God 05:24 with someone else, anyone. 05:26 Jesus loves His children all the same. 05:28 It may be someone you know, like your teacher, 05:31 or a bus driver, or a family member, 05:33 or it may be someone you don't know, 05:36 like the waiter at the restaurant 05:37 or the lady behind the checkout counter 05:39 at the grocery store. 05:40 Don't be afraid to tell people that Jesus loves them 05:44 because it doesn't matter who you are, 05:46 we all need to know that we're loved, don't we? 05:49 Pray for holy boldness 05:50 and let Jesus shine through you. 05:52 Let's listen as Fire ''N'' Steel 05:54 play in their steel pans, "I've Got the Joy". 07:04 I love my daughters and my grandchildren very much. 07:08 I always pray that God will keep them safe from harm, 07:11 but sadly we share this planet with the very dangerous enemy 07:15 called the devil. 07:16 And sometimes bad things happen. 07:19 It makes me very sad 07:20 when I hear they're suffering in anyway. 07:22 That's the way it is with parents. 07:24 They're very protective, 07:26 but can you imagine how God feels 07:28 every person that has ever lived is His child. 07:32 And if you watch the news at all, 07:34 you know that His children are suffering. 07:36 Unlike us, God sees everything 07:39 and I'm sure it must make Him very sad. 07:42 That's why we need to go out to those that are hurting 07:45 and share God's love with them, 07:47 to give them a hope for a better future. 07:49 Listen now as Mariana sings, ''I Wonder If God Cries". 08:01 I wonder if God cries 08:06 When we do the things we do 08:12 Do tear drops fill His eyes? 08:17 'Cause he loves us so, so true 08:23 Sometimes I feel such hurt 08:28 When I try to realize 08:33 That even though he's God 08:38 I wonder 08:40 If God cries 08:47 Maybe time will tell 08:51 When we reach that distant shore 08:56 With all his children home 09:02 Maybe God will cry no more 09:07 And even though he's God 09:12 I wonder 09:14 If God cries. 09:32 I have a friend who used to go fishing with her dad 09:35 when she was a little girl. 09:37 Some days they would catch a lot of fish 09:39 and some days only a few, 09:41 and some days they just didn't catch any. 09:43 They weren't discourage if they came home empty-handed 09:46 because they knew tomorrow was the new day. 09:48 When Jesus said He would make us fishers of men, 09:52 He didn't promise that we would come home 09:54 with the net full of fish everyday. 09:56 Some days, well, the fish just don't bite. 09:59 The key is to being consistent and not getting discouraged. 10:04 So determine each day to cast your line into the water, 10:07 Jesus will reward your faithfulness. 10:09 Let's listen as Leon sings, "Fishers of Men". 10:18 I will make you fishers of men 10:22 Fishers of men, fishers of men 10:26 I will make you fishers of men 10:29 If you follow Me 10:33 So if you follow Me 10:37 If you follow Me 10:41 I will make you fishers of men 10:44 If you follow Me 10:48 Hear Christ calling "Come unto Me Come unto Me, 10:54 Come unto Me." 10:56 Hear Christ calling 10:58 "Come unto Me I will give you rest." 11:03 I will give you rest 11:07 I will give you rest Hear Christ calling 11:13 "Come unto Me I will give you rest." 11:23 As Christians we are part of God's army 11:25 that devil has people trapped in sin 11:28 and it's our job to go in and help save them. 11:31 Here are Strings of Joy playing on their violins, 11:33 "Onward Christian Soldiers". 14:51 A couple of church members 14:52 went out to hand out loaves of bread, 14:54 and then when they knocked on the door, 14:56 a man opened the door, "What do you want?" 14:58 One of the visitors replied, "We don't want anything, 15:01 we just wanted to know 15:02 if you would like a loaf of bread?" 15:05 The man barked back, "Why are you doing that?" 15:09 Just to like, you know, that Jesus loves you, 15:11 they responded. 15:13 The man started to cry. 15:14 My wife and I just buried our only child yesterday 15:17 and now here you are. 15:20 After the visitors prayed with the couple, 15:21 the man shut the door and his wife said, see, 15:24 I told you God cares, 15:26 you thought He wasn't paying attention to us. 15:29 But He just sent those people to remind us that He does. 15:33 Boys and girls, 15:34 we don't always know what people are going through, 15:36 but God ask us to do what we can 15:39 to brighten some one's day. 15:41 Let's listen as Jedel and Cindy sing, 15:43 "Brighten the Corner". 15:50 Do not wait until some deed of greatness you may do 15:54 Do not wait to shed your light afar 15:58 To the many duties ever near you now be true 16:03 Brighten the corner where you are 16:07 Brighten the corner where you are 16:11 Brighten the corner where you are 16:15 Someone far from harbour you may guide across the bar 16:19 Brighten the corner where you are 16:23 Brighten the corner where you are 16:27 Brighten the corner where you are 16:31 Someone far from harbour you may guide across the bar 16:35 Brighten the corner where you are. 16:43 God's truth is called light. 16:45 You and I have that light 16:47 and light is the only way to drive away darkness. 16:50 So let's take our light into the dark world we live in 16:54 and shine for Jesus. 16:56 Be encouraged to do just that as Avery plays on a saxophone, 17:00 "This Little Light of Mine". 19:07 Did you know that one single candle 19:09 is far more powerful than a light bulb? 19:12 Yes, that's right, have you ever seen 19:15 one light bulb give light to another? 19:17 No, but one candle can light more candles 19:21 and those candles can light even more 19:24 creating far more light than one single light bulb. 19:27 That's the way God's love is. 19:29 It starts small and then grows and grows 19:32 until it's like a blazing fire. 19:35 You might be just one simple candle 19:38 but you can help to ignite God's love in other's hearts. 19:42 The Kids Time Singers will now sing, "Pass It On". 19:52 It only takes a spark 19:57 To get a fire going 20:01 And soon all those around 20:05 Can warm up in its glowing 20:10 That's how it is with God's Love 20:15 Once you've experienced it 20:19 You spread his love to everyone 20:24 You want to pass it on 20:28 What a wondrous time is spring 20:32 When all the tress are budding 20:36 The birds begin to sing 20:41 The flowers start their blooming 20:45 That's how it is with God's love 20:50 Once you've experienced it 20:54 You want to sing, it's fresh like spring 20:58 You want to pass it on 21:03 I wish for you my friend 21:07 This happiness that I've found 21:12 You can depend on Him 21:16 It matters not where you're bound 21:20 I'll shout it from the mountain top 21:25 I want our world to know 21:29 The Lord of love has come to me 21:33 I want to 21:35 Pass it on. 21:42 If you truly want to do something for Jesus, 21:45 you need to make sure that what you're doing 21:47 is something He wants you to do. 21:49 You might only be comfortable greeting people 21:51 as they come in the door for church, 21:53 but what if God wants you to do something else? 21:56 What if He wants you to start a Bible study in your home? 21:59 Are you willing to do whatever God ask you to do? 22:02 If you don't know what that is, 22:04 why don't you ask Him as Samara sings, 22:07 "I Give Myself Away". 22:21 I give myself away 22:27 Lord, I give myself away 22:30 So you can use me 22:34 I give myself away 22:40 I give myself away So You can use me 22:46 Here I am 22:49 Here I stand 22:52 Lord, my life is in your hands 22:58 Lord, I'm longing to see 23:04 Your desires revealed in me 23:10 I give myself away 23:16 I give myself away So You can use me 23:22 I give myself away 23:28 I give myself away So You can use me 23:35 My life is not my own 23:38 To you I belong 23:41 I give myself, I give myself to you 23:47 My life is not my own 23:50 To you I belong 23:53 I give myself, I give myself to you 23:58 I give myself away 24:04 I give myself away So You can use me 24:10 I give myself away. 24:23 There is no greater joy than serving Jesus, 24:26 and it's that kind of joy 24:27 that is going to last throughout all eternity. 24:30 When you're working for Jesus, 24:32 you'll find that He will put a song in your heart. 24:35 Listen now as Jaydelle sings, 24:37 "In My Heart There Rings a Melody". 24:48 I have a song that Jesus gave me 24:52 It was sent from heaven above 24:56 There never was a sweeter melody 25:00 And I know it's there to stay. 25:05 In my heart there rings a melody 25:09 There rings a melody with heaven's harmony 25:13 In my heart there rings a melody 25:17 There rings a melody of love 25:21 In my heart there rings a melody 25:25 There rings a melody with heaven's harmony 25:30 In my heart there rings a melody 25:34 There rings a melody of love. 25:42 Boys and girls, Jesus loves us so much 25:45 and He want us to spread His love 25:47 to everyone we meet. 25:49 He doesn't need us 25:51 to finish the work and serve Him. 25:53 He allows us the privilege to work for Him. 25:56 Just like the carpenter has tools in his workshop 25:59 that he uses to help him complete a project, 26:01 you are one of God's tools 26:03 that He uses to win others to Him. 26:06 But to be effective, you have to stay sharp 26:09 and you can only do that by spending time with Jesus 26:12 each and every day studying the Bible and praying. 26:16 Well, that's all the time we have today, 26:18 so until next time remember its Kids' Time to Praise Jesus. |
