00:04 All ye little children God is love, God is love 00:10 Praise Him Praise Him 00:12 All ye little children God is love, God is love 00:23 Hi, boys and girls, Herb was a missionary 00:26 and he had been given a car that wouldn't start by itself. 00:30 He had to push it to get it going, 00:31 and what a bother that was. 00:33 But he got quite good at either parking it 00:36 at the top of the hill or leaving it running 00:38 while he went into to make a quick stop. 00:40 For two years, Herb used this car. 00:43 And he had to use these tricks to keep it going. 00:46 Finally, when its time was done, 00:47 another missionary came to replace him. 00:50 Herb was trying to explain the problems 00:52 with the car to the new missionary. 00:53 And as he talked about the tricks 00:55 to get it to start while the other man 00:57 open the hood and he looked around. 00:59 Umm! He said, 01:01 "There's a loose cable here." 01:03 He quickly co nnected it then he went around, 01:05 sat on the driver seat and turned the key, 01:07 and the engine just roared to life. 01:10 The power had been there all along. 01:13 It was just that the cable was not connected. 01:17 Jesus offers us His power too. 01:20 It's always available to us and we don't need to struggle 01:23 half so much as we do. 01:24 I'd like to claim a favorite Bible promise for you, 01:27 found in Isaiah 40:29 through 31. 01:30 "He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 01:34 Even young people grow tired and become weary, 01:37 and young men will stumble and fall. 01:39 But those who trust in the Lord 01:41 will find new strength. 01:43 They will soar high on wings like eagles. 01:46 They will run and not grow weary. 01:48 They will walk and not faint. 01:51 Jesus knows we have struggles 01:53 and He is ready to help you now. 01:54 Mirielle song, "Rolled Away" 01:57 is about the power to overcome sin. 02:10 Rolled away, rolled away, rolled away 02:15 Every burden on my heart rolled away 02:19 Rolled away, rolled away, rolled away 02:23 Every burden on my heart rolled away 02:27 Every sin had to go, 'Neath the crimson flow 02:34 Hallelujah!
