13:15 Well, we can obey anything that Jesus asked of us, 13:19 if we first invite Him to come into our hearts. 13:22 Then we just let Him do the shining through us. 13:25 We can't shine on our own, 13:27 but when Jesus pours His love into our heart, 13:29 it just shines out everyone. 13:32 As Mirielle sings, "Jesus Bids Us Shine." 13:35 Let's ask Jesus to shine His love through us. 13:41 I'd like to share with you my memory verse, 13:43 which I learned today. 13:45 Matthew 5:16, "Let your life so shine before men, 13:49 that they may see your good works 13:51 and glorify your father in heaven." 14:01 Jesus bids us shine with a clear, pure lights 14:05 Like a little candle burning in the nights 14:10 In this world of darkness, we must shine 14:14 You in your small corner, and I in mine 14:18 Jesus bids us shine, as we work for Him 14:23 Bringing those that wander from the paths of sin 14:27 He will ever help us, if we shine 14:31 You in your small corner and I in mine 14:41 When Jesus died on the cross, 14:43 He was obeying the father. 14:45 They had decided together to save humanity. 14:47 And when Jesus became a human being, 14:50 His strength came from His father in heaven 14:53 and we can have it too. 14:54 He obeyed the Father and because He obeyed, 14:57 we've all been saved from the punishment of sin. 15:01 When I listen to Ivana sing, 15:02 "The Old Rugged Cross" it makes me thankful 15:05 for Jesus and His sacrifice for us. 15:17 On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross 15:25 The emblem of suffering and shame 15:32 And I love that old cross where the dearest and best 15:41 For a world of lost sinners was slain. 15:48 So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, 15:56 Till my trophies at last I lay down, 16:04 I will cling to the old rugged cross 16:12 And exchange it some day for a crown 16:20 To the old rugged cross I will ever be true 16:28 Its shame and reproach gladly bear 16:36 Then he'll call me some day to my home far away 16:44 For His glory forever I'll share 16:52 So I'll cherish the old rugged cross 17:00 Till my trophies at last I lay down 17:07 I will cling to the old rugged cross 17:15 And exchange it some day for a crown 17:28 I can't wait for Jesus to come, can you? 21:43 You have to trust Jesus to catch you 21:45 before you're able to give up control 21:47 and do what He says. 21:49 That trust takes time to build, 21:51 but it's a great process. 21:53 Janna song "Trust and Obey" 21:55 is about the happiness we find in obedience. 22:05 When we walk with the Lord 22:08 In the light of His word 22:12 What a glory He sheds on our way 22:19 While we do His good will 22:23 He abides with us still 22:26 And with all who will trust and obey 22:34 Trust and obey, for there's no other way 22:40 To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey 22:55 I'm so thankful for all that Jesus does for me. 22:58 I'm thankful that He shows me 23:00 how to live a joyful life. 23:01 And I'm thankful that He helps me to obey, 23:04 so that I will avoid all the things 23:06 that will hurt me. 23:07 I'm thankful for so much. 23:08 When I obey Jesus, I'm saying, "thank you." 23:11 The Guthrie Family song, "Praise Him, Praise Him, 23:14 All Ye Little Children" 23:15 is the thank you song to Jesus. 23:26 [music] 24:34 Jesus speaks to your heart when He talks to you. 24:36 His language is a still small voice 24:39 that we learn to recognize. 24:41 In the next song, "Far Beyond the Sun," 24:43 Alessandra will sing in not one, 24:45 but two languages Spanish and English. 24:48 I'm so glad that Jesus gave us 24:50 so many beautiful languages 24:51 in which to praise Him, aren't you?
