09:27 And she is going to sing about it right now 09:29 in her song "I'm so Happy." 09:38 I'm so happy and here's the reason why 09:42 Jesus took my burdens all away 09:46 Now I'm singing as the days go by 09:50 Jesus took my burdens all away 09:54 First my heart was heavy 09:55 With a load of sin Jesus took the load 09:59 And gave me peace within 10:02 Now I'm singing as the days go by 10:06 Jesus took my burdens all away 10:10 First my heart was heavy with a load of sin 10:14 Jesus took the load and gave me peace within 10:18 Now I'm singing as the days go by 10:22 Jesus took my burdens all away 10:26 Jesus took my burdens all away 10:34 I'm so happy that Jesus took my sins away, aren't you? 10:37 You know, obedience is not always easy. 10:40 Jesus knows that and that's why 10:42 learning is a process. 10:43 Let's just keep our focus on God's gift of heaven 10:46 and listen as the Hartman sing 10:48 and play the song, "I'm Ready to Go." 11:11 Jesus come this very day 11:12 I know I'll then be on my way 11:15 I'm ready to leave No stopping to grieve 11:18 I tell you friend I'm glad to be going 11:20 To a land where milk and honey are flowing 11:22 I'm letting you know I'm ready to go 11:26 I'm ready to go I'm ready to go 11:28 Should Gabriel sound his golden trumpet loud 11:30 I'm ready to go In the twinkling of an eye 11:32 When the saints are called away 11:34 Eyes on the prize, no time to be looking back 11:36 We're headed for that heavenly country 11:37 I'm ready to go 11:39 I'm ready to go and I know this might just be the day 11:58 Praise God I've made my reservation 12:00 For a homecoming celebration 12:02 When the saints of old gather 'round the throne 12:06 So when the trumpet sounds out so clear 12:08 You'll hear me shout "I'm outta here" 12:10 Come on Gabriel blow 12:12 I'm ready to go I'm ready to go 12:15 Should Gabriel sound his golden trumpet loud 12:18 In the twinkling of an eye 12:19 When the saints are called away 12:22 Eyes on the prize, no time to be looking back 12:24 We're headed for that heavenly country 12:25 I'm ready to go 12:26 I know this might just be the day 12:46 I'm ready to go 12:48 Should Gabriel sound his golden trumpet loud 12:50 I'm ready to go In the twinkling of an eye 12:52 When the saints are called away 12:54 Eyes on the prize, no time to be looking back 12:56 We're headed for that heavenly country 12:57 I'm ready to go 12:58 I know this might just be the day 13:01 I'm ready to go 13:02 I know this might just be the day 13:10 Jesus wants us to shine for Him. 13:13 And how do we obey that command? 13:15 Well, we can obey anything that Jesus asked of us, 13:19 if we first invite Him to come into our hearts. 13:22 Then we just let Him do the shining through us. 13:25 We can't shine on our own, 13:27 but when Jesus pours His love into our heart, 13:29 it just shines out everyone. 13:32 As Mirielle sings, "Jesus Bids Us Shine." 13:35 Let's ask Jesus to shine His love through us. 13:41 I'd like to share with you my memory verse, 13:43 which I learned today. 13:45 Matthew 5:16, "Let your life so shine before men, 13:49 that they may see your good works 13:51 and glorify your father in heaven." 14:01 Jesus bids us shine with a clear, pure lights 14:05 Like a little candle burning in the nights 14:10 In this world of darkness, we must shine 14:14 You in your small corner, and I in mine 14:18 Jesus bids us shine, as we work for Him 14:23 Bringing those that wander from the paths of sin 14:27 He will ever help us, if we shine 14:31 You in your small corner and I in mine 14:41 When Jesus died on the cross, 14:43 He was obeying the father. 14:45 They had decided together to save humanity. 14:47 And when Jesus became a human being, 14:50 His strength came from His father in heaven 14:53 and we can have it too. 14:54 He obeyed the Father and because He obeyed, 14:57 we've all been saved from the punishment of sin. 15:01 When I listen to Ivana sing, 15:02 "The Old Rugged Cross" it makes me thankful 15:05 for Jesus and His sacrifice for us. 15:17 On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross 15:25 The emblem of suffering and shame 15:32 And I love that old cross where the dearest and best 15:41 For a world of lost sinners was slain. 15:48 So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, 15:56 Till my trophies at last I lay down, 16:04 I will cling to the old rugged cross 16:12 And exchange it some day for a crown 16:20 To the old rugged cross I will ever be true 16:28 Its shame and reproach gladly bear 16:36 Then he'll call me some day to my home far away 16:44 For His glory forever I'll share 16:52 So I'll cherish the old rugged cross 17:00 Till my trophies at last I lay down 17:07 I will cling to the old rugged cross 17:15 And exchange it some day for a crown 17:28 I can't wait for Jesus to come, can you? 17:30 I've so many questions to ask Him 17:32 and so many things to learn. 17:34 And I'm looking forward to seeing 17:35 each one of you there too. 17:37 That "Going Home Medley" is a combination of songs 17:39 that tell of our happiness 17:41 at the thought of going to heaven. 17:43 Let's see if you can name the songs 17:45 that Bryan will play on his steel pan. 17:55 [music] 19:13 When you choose to obey Jesus, 19:15 He is able to show you more about Himself. 19:17 And when Jesus asked you to be honest 19:19 just because He is honest. 19:21 When He asked you to be kind, 19:23 He is asking you to act as He would. 19:25 By obeying Jesus, you're able to learn 19:28 more about Him and His love for you. 19:30 I'm going to ask Jesus to show me more 19:32 about Himself as Dawn sings, "I See the Lord." 19:44 I see the Lord seated on the throne, exalted 19:55 And the train of His robe 19:58 Fills the temple with glory 20:05 And the whole earth is filled 20:10 And the whole earth is filled 20:16 And the whole earth is filled 20:21 With His glory 20:27 Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy Holy is the Lord 20:47 I see the Lord seated on the throne, exalted 20:57 And the train of His robe 21:00 Fills the temple with glory 21:07 And the whole earth is filled 21:13 And the whole earth is filled 21:18 And the whole earth is filled With His glory 21:36 Obeying Jesus is about trusting Him. 21:38 If I told you to fall backwards 21:40 into my arms, 21:41 would you trust me to catch you? 21:43 You have to trust Jesus to catch you 21:45 before you're able to give up control 21:47 and do what He says. 21:49 That trust takes time to build, 21:51 but it's a great process. 21:53 Janna song "Trust and Obey" 21:55 is about the happiness we find in obedience. 22:05 When we walk with the Lord 22:08 In the light of His word 22:12 What a glory He sheds on our way 22:19 While we do His good will 22:23 He abides with us still 22:26 And with all who will trust and obey 22:34 Trust and obey, for there's no other way 22:40 To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey 22:55 I'm so thankful for all that Jesus does for me. 22:58 I'm thankful that He shows me 23:00 how to live a joyful life. 23:01 And I'm thankful that He helps me to obey, 23:04 so that I will avoid all the things 23:06 that will hurt me. 23:07 I'm thankful for so much. 23:08 When I obey Jesus, I'm saying, "thank you." 23:11 The Guthrie Family song, "Praise Him, Praise Him, 23:14 All Ye Little Children" 23:15 is the thank you song to Jesus. 23:26 [music] 24:34 Jesus speaks to your heart when He talks to you. 24:36 His language is a still small voice 24:39 that we learn to recognize. 24:41 In the next song, "Far Beyond the Sun," 24:43 Alessandra will sing in not one, 24:45 but two languages Spanish and English. 24:48 I'm so glad that Jesus gave us 24:50 so many beautiful languages 24:51 in which to praise Him, aren't you? 24:53 And I'm thankful that, He speaks to all of us 24:55 in the same language of love. 25:06 [Spanish language] 26:05 Though I claim no riches 26:09 On my earthly journey 26:13 But I know in glory 26:17 I've a mansion fair 26:20 While on earth an outcast 26:24 By the world rejected 26:28 But my Lord and Master 26:31 Saves me from despair 26:35 Far beyond the Sun 26:39 Far beyond the Sun 26:43 Up there is my home 26:45 my home, blessed home 26:46 Far beyond the Sun Far beyond the Sun 26:57 I love the words to this familiar church hymn 26:59 that goes like this. 27:00 Trust and obey for there's no other way 27:03 to be happy in Jesus, 27:05 but to trust and obey. 27:08 Jesus way is always the best way 27:10 and you can learn to trust 27:12 when you practice obeying His word. 27:14 I want to encourage you, boys and girls, 27:16 to keep Jesus in your life to trust Him 27:18 because our God is trustworthy. 27:22 You can always count on Jesus. 27:24 That's all the time we've today. 27:26 Until next time remember, 27:27 it's Kids Time to Praise Jesus. |
