00:02 Praise Him, Praise Him! All ye little children,
00:06 God is love, God is love Praise Him, Praise Him!
00:12 All ye little children, God is love, God is love!
00:23 Hi, boys and girls.
00:24 Don't you just love to praise God?
00:27 Sometimes we praise God with our words,
00:29 sometimes we put those words to music,
00:32 and there are other times
00:33 we put our feelings of praise into music without words.
00:37 Today, we are going to listen to music of praise
00:40 using a variety of instruments.
00:42 You'll actually hear nine in all,
00:44 a violin, trumpet, flute, harps, steel pans,
00:47 cello, viola, saxophone and piano.
00:50 I wonder if you can recognize them all
00:53 as Isabel and Wen-Ting play "My Tribute"
00:55 on violin and piano.
00:57 See if you can feel the passion they have for praising God.
01:03 [Music]
03:39 Our next song "Immortal, Invisible,"
03:42 uses music to relate God's majesty.
03:44 It reminds me of those special words
03:46 found in 1st Timothy 1:17,
03:49 "Now unto the King eternal, immortal,
03:52 invisible, the only wise God,
03:54 be honor and glory for ever and ever."
03:57 Now that describes an awesome God
04:00 we can trust and honor.
04:02 As you listen to Geoffrey play this song on his trumpet,
04:04 see if you can hear how infinite
04:06 and all powerful our God is.
04:11 [Music]
05:52 Did you know that you can see God in the little things?
05:55 Even though God is so big and powerful,
05:58 His love can be seen in the delicate field flowers
06:01 and in the buzz of a little bee.
06:03 Yet God is not to big to come close to you and love you,
06:06 no matter how little or how big you are.
06:09 The Guthrie family is going
06:11 to play a song called "Simple Gifts."
06:13 And it's about God's wonderful love
06:15 shining through the simple things.
06:20 [Music]
08:44 The next song will have special treat.
08:47 While we are focusing
08:48 on praising God with instruments today.
08:50 The next song "The Prayer"
08:52 is going to have a nice vocal solo
08:54 with the beautiful music of our harp in the back ground.
08:57 Murielle and Millicent remind me
08:59 of David from Bible story times.
09:01 He played a harp and sing lovely songs to God.
09:04 I know that God loves to hear our music of praise.
09:16 I pray you'll be our eyes,
09:22 and watch us where we go
09:29 When stars go out each night
09:34 Remind us where you are
09:40 Let this be our prayer,
09:46 when we lose our way
09:52 Missed you for the place, guide us with your grace
09:59 To a place where we'll be safe
10:07 I pray you'll find your light,
10:13 and hold it in our hearts
10:19 When stars go out each night
10:24 Remind us where you are
10:30 Let this be our prayer,
10:36 just like every child
10:42 Leads you find up place, guide us with your grace
10:49 To a place where we'll be safe
10:57 Leads you find up place, guide us with your grace
11:04 To a place where we'll be safe
11:21 Did you know, that the violin is an instrument
11:23 that must be played and played
11:25 in order for it to stay in shape, that's right.
11:28 While the violin requires very special care,
11:31 one thing that seems to make it better is age.
11:34 In fact a true Stradivarius violin is over 300 years old.
11:39 Gaga is going to play "Meditation"
11:41 and as she does let's think about
11:43 how we can use our talents for Jesus
11:45 and make beautiful music for Him.
11:50 [Music]
15:16 When Jesus comes,
15:18 He is going to arrive with a shout
15:19 and a blast of a trumpet.
15:21 And it says in 1st Thessalonians 4:16 and 17,
15:25 "And the dead in Christ shall rise
15:26 first to meet Him in the air."
15:28 Then we will be caught up with them
15:30 to live with the Lord forever.
15:33 I don't want to miss out on that, do you?
15:35 Why don't' you give your life to Jesus today
15:37 as the Metropolitan Symphony Steel Orchestra play
15:41 "O, When the Saints."
15:45 [Music]
16:55 If you had to choose between a friendship with Jesus
16:57 and a million dollars, what would you choose?
17:01 Someone who hasn't met Jesus
17:02 yet might likely choose the money.
17:04 But not me, I'd rather have Jesus.
17:08 A friendship with Jesus is so much better than
17:10 anything on this earth and it's free.
17:13 Next we'll hear Amos and Jessica play
17:15 "I'd Rather Have Jesus."
17:20 [Music]
18:42 Jesus gives you and I the strength to do more
18:44 than we ever thought possible.
18:46 is my very favorite
18:49 Bible text in the Bible, and it says
18:51 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
18:54 So with, Jesus, you can do anything isn't that exciting.
18:58 The next song "Power in the Blood"
19:00 is about the power that Jesus gives us to shine for Him.
19:04 Get ready for some fiddle in this.
19:05 Emily plays this energetic song on her violin.
19:10 [Music]
20:47 A positive outlook on life is very healthy.
20:50 People who are happy and cheerful
20:52 stay healthier than those who don't.
20:54 Isn't that amazing that praising Jesus
20:56 is good for your health.
20:58 The Chung family loves to praise God
21:00 and as we listen to them play "Glory to God, Hallelujah."
21:04 on violin and cello, we can feel God's love
21:07 just shining through them.
21:11 [Music]
23:39 Have you ever had a really bad day?
23:41 It doesn't help to focus on the bad side, does it.
23:44 It helps though when we sing praises to God anyway.
23:47 We don't have to have a good day to praise God.
23:50 Lester song "Press On"
23:52 encourages us to keep on hanging on.
23:55 Let's listen as he plays this song on a saxophone.
24:00 [Music]
27:12 I really enjoyed praising God with you today.
27:14 The songs have become some of our praise classic
27:17 and they make me want to praise God all day long.
27:20 I'm looking forward to seeing you
27:21 next time boys and girls.
27:22 Now, I want you to know that wherever you go,
27:25 whatever you're doing, it's Kids Time to praise Jesus.
