He controls everything 11:00 He is with me each night and each day 11:08 I trust my soul to the Savior's control 11:14 He drives all fear away 11:21 How can I fear? Jesus is near 11:28 He ever watches over me 11:35 Worries all cease; He gives me peace 11:41 How can I fear with Jesus 11:53 Psalms 139:9 and 10 says, 11:56 "If I rise on the wings of the dawn, 11:58 if I settle on the far side of the sea, 12:01 even there your hand will guide me, 12:03 your right hand will hold me fast." 12:05 There isn't anywhere you can go where God 12:07 won't take care of you. 12:09 In Ivana's song, "His Sheep Am I," 12:11 we will hear how God is with us in the mountains, 12:13 in the valleys and everywhere. 12:22 In God's green pastures feeding, 12:25 by His cool waters lie 12:29 Soft in the evening walk my Lord and I 12:33 All the sheep of His pasture fare so wondrously fine, 12:40 His sheep am I 12:44 Waters cool, pastures green 12:49 In the evening walk my Lord and I 12:54 Dark the night, rough the way 12:58 Step by step, my Lord and I 13:09 Do you ever have a bad dream and wake up feeling afraid? 13:12 When we have Jesus 13:13 we can say a prayer and feel safe again. 13:16 The next song says, I have peace like a river, 13:19 joy like a fountain and love like an ocean. 13:22 That's a lot of peace and joy and love, isn't it? 13:25 It's enough to take away any bad dream. 13:28 I know that's why the Guthrie Family 13:29 has chosen to play, "I've Got Peace like a River." 14:57 Peace, joy, love, they're all gifts that God gives us. 15:01 Jesus makes our lives so much happier 15:03 and takes away the fear. 15:05 When we have a special friendship with Jesus, 15:08 everything looks different. 15:09 The dark isn't so scary and-- we don't feel quite so alone. 15:13 The next song, Jesus is the sweetest name 15:15 I know is going to be sung by the Schafer girls. 15:18 It tells us why we can love Jesus, 15:21 for He is sweet and holy. 15:35 Jesus is the sweetest name I know 15:41 And He's just the same as His Holy Name 15:49 And that's the reason why I love Him so 15:56 'Cause Jesus is the sweetest name I know. 16:08 I'm so glad that I have 16:09 a special friendship with Jesus, aren't you? 16:12 When we have a special friendship with someone, 16:14 we spend time with them, don't we? 16:16 We like to go visit our grandparents 16:18 and listen to their story. 16:19 It's the same with Jesus. 16:21 He's our special friend and we like spending time 16:24 with Him and hearing stories about Him. 16:26 Jeharna's song, "A Quiet Place" 16:28 is about spending time with Jesus. 16:45 There is a quiet place 16:51 Far from the rapid pace 16:57 Where God can soothe my troubled mind 17:09 Shelteredby tree and flow'r 17:15 There in my quiet hour 17:20 With Him my cares are left behind 17:31 Whether a garden small 17:36 Or on a mountain tall 17:41 New strength and courage there I find 17:53 Then from this quiet place 17:58 I go prepared to face 18:03 A new day with love for all mankind 18:27 When you have something wonderful, 18:29 don't you want to share with your friends? 18:30 I know I do. 18:31 A new toy or a present isn't quite so great 18:34 if we can't share it with others. 18:36 When we feel God's peace, 18:38 we want to share it too, don't we? 18:40 We want to tell everyone we know how 18:43 they can feel peaceful too. 18:45 Isabel is going to play "Win the City for Christ" 18:48 on her violin with her sister Wen-Ting on the piano. 21:21 We pray to Jesus asking Him to help us to feel peaceful, 21:24 but one day Jesus is going to come 21:26 and He's going to call my name and yours. 21:29 And when we go to heaven, we'll have peace forever. 21:32 There will be no more darkness, 21:34 no more bad dreams and guess what, 21:36 no more being afraid. 21:38 The song that Joshua and I will sing, 21:40 "Somewhere Listening" is about waiting 21:42 for Jesus to call our names. 21:51 This whole world is dark and deceiving 21:55 But there's hope for all in believing 21:59 Signs are all around that He's coming 22:03 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 22:07 I'll be somewhere listening I'll be somewhere listening 22:11 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 22:15 I'll be somewhere listening I'll be somewhere listening 22:19 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 22:24 When the Savior calls I will answer 22:28 When He calls for me I will hear 22:32 When the Savior calls I will answer 22:36 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 22:40 I'll be somewhere listening I'll be somewhere listening 22:45 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 22:49 I'll be somewhere listening I'll be somewhere listening 22:53 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 22:57 With thy Holy Spirit fill me 23:01 I submit my will, I will serve thee 23:06 With thy Holy Spirit fill me 23:10 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 23:14 I'll be somewhere listening I'll be somewhere listening 23:18 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 23:22 I'll be somewhere listening I'll be somewhere listening 23:26 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 23:30 I'll be somewhere listening for my name 23:43 The wonderful thing about Jesus 23:45 is that He's never too busy to talk to us. 23:47 He never tells us not now, 23:49 I'm busy, or hold on a minute. 23:51 Jesus is always there and we can stop 23:54 and talk to Him anytime we want. 23:56 Knowing that God is always there 23:58 takes away those afraid feelings, doesn't it? 24:00 We can be with Jesus all day long, 24:02 doesn't that sound great? 24:04 That's why the Cadet Sisters have chosen the song, 24:07 "All Day Long." Let's listen together. 24:20 All day long I've been with Jesus 24:28 All day long my lips have uttered praise 24:37 All day long my heart, 24:41 My soul's been lifted in worship 24:45 All day long I have been with Him 24:54 All day long I've been with Jesus 25:01 All day long my lips have uttered praise 25:10 All day long his spirit has been moving 25:17 I can feel it all day long I have been with him 25:27 No way could I ever honor you enough 25:35 For all you have done for me 25:43 So I will offer up thanksgiving 25:50 from my heart 25:52 And praise continually 26:01 All day long I've been with Jesus 26:08 All day long my lips have uttered praise 26:18 All day long my heart, 26:22 My soul's been lifted in worship 26:26 All day long I have been with Him 26:35 All day long I've been with Him. 26:53 I'd like to thank all the-- kids who sang and played 26:56 for us today and I really received the blessing 26:58 and I had such a great time sharing with you too. 27:02 So just remember boys and-- girls, when you feel afraid, 27:04 when you've had a bad dream or may be 27:07 you are scared of the dark, 27:08 you can always pray to Jesus, to give you His peace. 27:11 I find that singing a little song helps a lot too. 27:14 I'm so glad that God gives us His peace, aren't you? 27:17 I have a Bible text I want you to remember. 27:19 Its John 16:33 and it says, 27:23 "These things I have spoken to you, 27:25 that in me you may have peace and in the world 27:29 you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, 27:32 isn't that wonderful, boys and girls? 27:34 Well, until next time, remember 27:36 its Kids Time to praise Jesus. |
