00:07 God is love, God is love 00:12 Praise Him, praise Him, all ye little children 00:16 God is love, God is love 00:23 Hi, boys and girls. 00:25 The Bible tells the story about a day 00:27 when Jesus and His disciples have been walking 00:29 for a very long time, and Jesus grew tired. 00:33 So they stopped to rest at a well 00:34 and sent His disciples to a nearby village 00:37 to find some food. 00:38 While the disciples were gone, 00:40 a woman carrying a picture approached the well. 00:42 And Jesus asked her for a drink. 00:45 Now the woman was really surprised 00:47 because Jesus was a Jew and she was a Samaritan. 00:51 Jews did not like Samaritans. 00:54 "How is it that you've asked me 00:55 for a drink?" She asked. 00:57 If you knew who I am, replied Jesus, 01:00 you would have asked me for a drink 01:02 and I would have given it to you. 01:04 What a strange thing to say, she thought. 01:07 Jesus had nothing from which to draw water 01:10 from that deep well. 01:12 How could You give me water? 01:13 She wanted to know. 01:15 Jesus answered, the water from this well 01:18 will leave you thirsty again, 01:20 but whoever drinks the water 01:21 I give will never thirst again. 01:25 Now that sounded too good to be true. 01:27 Sir, please give me a drink of that water, 01:30 requested the woman. 01:31 She didn't yet fully understand 01:33 what Jesus was talking about. 01:35 Go home said Jesus. 01:36 Call your husband and bring him back. 01:38 I have no husband, the woman said. 01:42 What you've spoken is true, said Jesus. 01:44 You had five husbands 01:45 and the one you're now with is not your husband. 01:49 Oh, how could he know that? 01:51 The woman immediately recognized 01:53 there was something very special about Jesus. 01:56 He must be a prophet. 01:58 Setting her picture aside, 01:59 she ran back to her village to tell her friends 02:01 and family all about the prophet at the well. 02:04 And they ran to the well 02:05 and invited Jesus back to their village. 02:08 Jesus spent two wonderful days with them 02:11 and many became His followers. 02:14 The people told the woman, 02:15 now we believe in Jesus 02:17 not because of what you've told us, 02:19 but because of the wonderful things 02:21 that we've seen and heard for ourselves. 02:24 He is indeed the Christ, the savior of the world. 02:28 Boys and girls, I know you've probably heard 02:30 a lot about Jesus from others, 02:32 but have you met Him for yourself. 02:35 You may not be able to see Him face-to-face, 02:37 but you can meet Him through His word, the Bible 02:41 and through prayer. 02:42 The only way to have faith 02:44 that He is indeed the savior of the world 02:48 is to come to know Him for yourself. 02:50 Why don't you start right now by praying 02:52 and asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life? 03:06 I could wish you joy and peace 03:10 To last a whole life long 03:14 I could
