God is love! 00:23 Hi, boys and girls have you ever seen a beacon? 00:27 Beacons are bright lights used to send signals 00:30 that an important event is happening. 00:32 Sometimes you see bright beams of white light 00:35 flashing back and forth across the sky 00:37 near big city airports. 00:40 They are used to show airplanes 00:41 exactly where the airport is located. 00:44 And sometimes beacon lights are used 00:46 to attract people to special events 00:48 like football games and political rallies. 00:51 Long before the invention of the radio 00:53 and the telephone, beacons lights 00:55 and fires were used to send all kinds of signals. 00:59 Well, on May 6, 1935, 01:01 the country of England celebrated the silver jubilee 01:04 of King George the V, by building a huge bonfire, 01:09 that fire rose like a towering 01:11 beacon in the night and hundreds of other smaller 01:14 beacon fires were lit all over England to celebrate 01:18 the fact that King George had reigned for 25 years. 01:23 All those beacons light up the English countryside 01:26 and everyone in England knew that 01:28 some thing important was happening. 01:30 Have you noticed boys and girls 01:32 that many beacons have been lighting up 01:33 around the world lately? 01:35 Now wait a minute here you might say, 01:37 I don't mean big flashing lights or bonfires. 01:40 I mean the sort of signs and signals 01:43 that Jesus said would happen right 01:45 before He return to take His children home with Him. 01:48 Now no one knows exactly when Jesus will come again. 01:52 But there are many signs 01:53 and signals that His coming is near. 01:56 Someone has called them Beacons of Prophecy. 01:59 Beacons like wars, floods, earthquakes and famines. 02:04 These signs all tell us that it won't be long 02:07 until we see Jesus come in the clouds of glory 02:10 and what a celebration that's gonna be. 02:13 Oh!
