God is love! 00:24 Hi, boys and girls. 00:25 What did you think of, 00:26 when you think of might and power. 00:29 Do you think of maybe big, 00:31 huge monster trucks and really faster race cars 00:34 or maybe you think of conquerors like 00:37 Alexander the Great or Napoleon 00:40 or do you think of giants like Goliath in the Bible 00:43 or maybe a muscleman like this one. 00:45 Woe! But wait. 00:48 The mighty and power of monster trucks 00:50 and muscleman are kind of puny 00:52 compare to the mighty and power of God. 00:55 So, why do we get so exited about such things? 00:58 Well, hymn writer Isaac Watts once wrote, 01:01 "I sing the mighty power of God that made 01:04 the mountains rise, 01:05 that spread the flowing sees abroad 01:08 and built the lofty skies." 01:11 Now Mr. Watts didn't stop there. 01:13 He wrote, "I sing the goodness of the Lord 01:16 that filled the earth with food. 01:18 He formed the creatures with his word 01:21 and then pronounced them good." 01:24 What mighty muscleman can make mountains rise 01:27 or spread flowing sees abroad 01:29 and maybe form animals with just as words. 01:32 No one I know. 01:34 And when mighty conquerors built their empires 01:37 they usually leave him entire countries and ruins. 01:41 And it takes years and years to rebuild 01:43 what they destroy along the way. 01:46 And for the monster trucks. 01:48 Umm! 14:17 Oh, nobody else could do that, 14:20 nobody else could do that 14:22 Nobody except the great I AM! 14:27 He must be the God of Abraham! 14:39 As time went by, 14:42 mankind became as sinful as could be 14:47 No one believed in God at all But Noah's family 14:54 So then the Lord said, 14:57 "Take them all into a great big boat." 15:02 And the plant earth was waterlogged, 15:06 but Noah stayed afloat! 15:13 Oh, nobody else could do that, 15:15 nobody else could do that 15:18 Nobody except the great I AM! 15:22 He must be the God of Abraham! 15:34 Well, many years had come 15:37 and gone since Noah's floating zoo 15:42 And sinful man was still the same, 15:46 God knew what He must do. 15:49 He sent His Son, 15:51 into the world to die a upon a tree, 15:56 So everyone could trust in Him will live eternally. 16:07 Oh, nobody else could do that, 16:10 nobody else could do that 16:12 Nobody except the great I AM!
