Of course, 01:04 Beth may have a rude awakening someday when 01:06 she grows up and she is no longer the center of 01:09 all that attention, but I am sure she 01:11 is gonna remember how nice it feels to be adored 01:13 by those who love you, whether or not you 01:16 deserve it. Do you know the adoration? 01:19 It can be defined as strong feelings of love 01:22 and admiration for someone, or something, 01:25 but the most important definition is of adoration 01:29 has always been worship given to God alone. 01:33 Adoration is worship given to God alone. 01:36 Wow! That means a sort of adoration and love we 01:39 have for God should be much greater and deeper 01:42 than the feelings we have toward other people and 01:44 things of this world. We adore God because 01:48 He is God, and there is no other one like Him. 01:52 We adore God because He created us, 01:54 and all that we are, and all that we have was 01:57 made by and given to us by God. 01:59 We adore God because He sacrificed for us, 02:02 even though we don't deserve it. 02:04 Do you know as you listen to today's songs of 02:06 worship and adoration, I want you to search your 02:09 heart boys and girls, ask yourself are you 02:12 directing your adoration toward God alone, 02:15 or have you kind of allowed your heart to 02:17 love and admire other people and other things 02:20 more than you adore God. Thousands of years ago 02:24 Moses commanded Israel saying: 02:27 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all 02:30 thine heart, how much? With all thine heart, 02:33 and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 02:37 I want you to look it up for yourselves it's 02:39 in Deuteronomy 6:5. That command applies to us 02:43 today boys and girls.
