That's right, a weapon. 00:46 Companies bottle the pepper into spray 00:48 containers like this one. And then people buy 00:50 them and used them for protection. 00:52 I heard of one poor family who decided 00:55 to purchase pepper spray for their hiking 00:56 in the mountains. And the can was labeled 00:59 bear repellent, so they kind of thought it work 01:02 like mosquito repellent. Well, I am sure you know 01:04 that you are supposed to spray mosquito 01:06 repellent on your skin to keep the mosquitoes 01:08 from biting you, but pepper spray isn't use 01:11 that way, is it? Well, unfortunately this family 01:14 didn't know that, so do you know what they did? 01:16 They sprayed that pepper spray all over 01:19 themselves and even on their children, 01:21 and that got in their eyes and their nose 01:24 and their skin and all were they burning, 01:27 they were miserable for a long, long time. 01:30 I could say it kind of goes to show you that 01:32 if you are gonna use a defense weapon; 01:34 you better know how to use it? 01:36 The Bible says we have to, and the Bible says, 01:38 we have defense weapons, did you know that? 01:41 And we are supposed to use those to protect 01:43 ourselves against the devil's attacks. 01:46 Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:11 01:48 let's read it together, get your Bibles out 01:50 and let's turn to Ephesians 6:11 it says 01:53 right here: Put on the whole armor of God 01:57 that you may be able to stand against 02:00 the wiles of the devil. He urged Christ followers 02:04 to defend themselves with truth, righteousness, 02:08 a gospel of peace, faith, salvation, 02:10 the word of God and prayer. 02:14 Now, do you know how to use all those 02:16 defense weapons correctly? And I am gonna 02:18 ask you boys and girls some questions. 02:20 Now you think about them, are you grounded 02:23 in the truth?
