God is love! 00:24 Hi boys and girls, you probably 00:25 heard the well known song, 00:27 I've got peace like a river in my soul. 00:29 Oh! I love that song, don't you? 00:32 And for all of the times, 00:33 I have sung that song, have you ever wondered 00:35 just how peace is like a river. 00:38 I have1 Well let me share with you some ideas. 00:42 First, big rivers run deep and wide, 00:44 don't they? And even though 00:45 the water runs over the rough ground, 00:48 the surface of the river remains smooth and calm. 00:53 And sometimes you can look down in the river, 00:55 and you can hardly tell that river 00:57 water is moving at all. Well peace that 01:00 comes from trusting Jesus with your 01:01 life is like that. It runs deep and wide 01:05 even though you may hit rough spots in your life, 01:08 you are able to stay calm on the surface, 01:10 because you know that God is in control 01:13 of every circumstance. Second, big rivers keep 01:17 flowing year after year, season after season, 01:21 and they don't stop flowing or dry up, 01:24 not even in the hot summer. 01:26 You know they flow endlessly, 01:28 you know as time goes by it's just keeps 01:29 on flowing and flowing, isn't that amazing 01:32 that many of earth's rivers, 01:34 they have float for thousands of years. 01:36 They probably will keep on flowing 01:38 until Jesus comes. The peace of God 01:40 is like that, it flows endlessly 01:43 through the ages, and that you know 01:45 it's going to continue to flow throughout 01:47 all eternity. Also big rivers they 01:50 provide water to a lot of people for 01:52 many different reasons. You know valleys with 01:55 rivers that run through them, 01:56 they tend to kind of stay green and lush 01:58 and wow they are full of wildlife and big rivers 02:02 attract people and animals. 02:05 You know that's the case with the peace 02:07 that God gives us as well, when you have that 02:10 kind of peace, pretty soon everyone wants 02:13 to know what's your secret is, 02:14 they want that same kind of peace. 02:17 You know lets read in Revelation 22:1, 02:19 I want you get your Bibles out, 02:20 because you know boys and girls, 02:21 I want to encourage you read your 02:23 Bibles everyday. There is so much we 02:26 can learn in our Bibles, so Revelation 22:1. 02:30 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, 02:33 clear as crystal, proceeding from 02:36 the throne of God and of the Lamb. 02:39 Do you know the tree of life will have roots 02:41 on both sides of the river, 02:43 and it will bear leaves for the healing 02:45 of the nations? What a privilege it was 02:48 for John to see a vision of that river, 02:49 wasn't it?
