God is love! 00:23 Hi boys and girls, you know I am sitting here 00:26 just writing down all my blessings, 00:28 because well I kind of faced a lot of challenges 00:32 this weekend. Hard weeks like this one can make 00:35 you kind of tired and a little bit discouraged, 00:37 so I thought this would be a great 00:40 time to just count by blessings. 00:41 And I've been making a list of all my blessings, 00:44 see, and I feel better already. 00:47 Let's see I'm thankful for my parents, 00:50 and my brothers, and my sisters, 00:52 and my husband Tim, and of course Becky 00:55 and Linda Kay, my girls, and then there is 00:57 my grandsons Michael and Jason. 01:00 I don't want to forget all the employees 01:02 that work here at 3ABN with me. 01:04 And you boys and girls, each one of you 01:07 are very special blessing to me. 01:09 I'm also thankful for the home I live in, 01:12 and also food to eat, and let's see 01:14 I'm grateful for life and health. 01:16 I'm very happy for the opportunity to share 01:19 Jesus with people all over the world everyday. 01:23 Counting my blessings reminds me that God is 01:26 good and He is merciful, and He blesses me with 01:28 His presence to through all my trials 01:31 and temptations. God showers each one of us 01:34 with countless blessings, even on those days 01:37 when we have the greatest struggles. 01:39 It's important to take time to count 01:41 our blessings ever so often, isn't it? 01:44 You know my grandma was one of the most 01:46 precious people in my life, and when she died, 01:49 it nearly broke my heart. I missed her so much, 01:52 but I know that she is just resting in a grave 01:54 until Jesus comes. And I look forward to 01:57 that blessed day when I can give her a great 01:59 big hug, and I can look into her precious 02:01 face once again. You know I've experienced 02:04 other sorrows in this life as well, and I live to 02:07 some heart-wrenching days that I thought 02:09 I would never survive. And yet those days 02:11 seem to blunt all my memory when I take 02:14 time to count my blessings. 02:16 Meanwhile I'm content to think and focus on 02:18 the good and the lovely things in my life. 02:20 After all even the tiniest little blessing gives 02:23 me a little taste of just what heaven maybe 02:26 like some day. And I imagine the music in 02:28 heaven is going to be incredible isn't it, 02:31 singing praises to God here on earth gives me 02:33 a little preview of what all they like to kneel 02:36 before God's throne, and sing praises to Him 02:39 in heaven. I want you to listen to today's 02:42 musical selections, think about your blessings, 02:46 pick up a pencil and a paper, and start counting 02:49 your blessings, and I promise it will boost 02:51 your spirits even if your list is a short one. 02:54 So, why don't you start your list with the most 02:56 important blessing of all, Jesus himself who died, 03:00 so that you might live with him forever?
