Praise Him! 00:14 All you little children, God is love, God is love. 00:24 Hi, boys and girls. 00:25 I like to tell you about a very 00:27 special friend of mine. 00:28 Her name is Mary Macri. 00:30 You know, she is my dearest friend on earth. 00:32 I would like you to show you picture. 00:33 She is just so precious 00:35 and I'm so thankful to have her in my life, 00:36 I love her so much. 00:38 She is loyal and she is honest 00:40 and we always have so much fun 00:42 and so much to talk about. 00:44 I can't imagine my life without her. 00:46 I don't get to see as often as I would like 00:48 but we always pickup right where we left off. 00:51 I can share with her my faults, 00:53 and my weaknesses and she still loves me just as much. 00:58 A true friend is like that, isn't it? 01:00 A true friend is a loyal friend. 01:02 In Proverb 17:17, it says right here, 01:06 a friend loves at all times. 01:10 Now that means a real friend doesn't love you 01:11 one day and then hate you the next, 01:14 a real friend will stick with you 01:16 through thick and thin, 01:18 no matter what you go through. 01:20 I heard a story once about a little girl 01:22 named Margie and her dog, Ben. 01:24 Now Margie was only 5 years old 01:26 and Ben was a very big strong German shepherd dog 01:30 who watched over Margie and protected her. 01:33 Well one day she was outside in the garden 01:35 and Margie heard a noise 01:37 that she never heard before and it scared her. 01:42 Then next thing you knew, 01:43 Ben pushed his way right in front of her 01:45 and started fighting with the strange creature 01:47 that had made that noise. 01:49 And that creature was a Rattlesnake. 01:52 Uh, rattlesnake! 01:53 They are very poisonous, aren't they? 01:56 Margie had been very grave danger, 01:58 but Ben took that poisonous Rattlesnake 02:02 and he all his bites that might have killed Margie. 02:06 Now when that fight was over the snake was dead. 02:10 But poor Ben, he had not one, not two, 02:14 but three deadly bites. 02:16 Pretty soon his head began to swell 02:18 so huge that Margie couldn't 02:20 even recognize her precious Ben. 02:22 And Margie's father told her that 02:24 they were probably wasn't much hope 02:26 that Ben was going to make it, 02:27 unless Jesus healed him. 02:30 Well, Margie ran to her bedroom 02:32 and she cut down by her bed 02:34 and she started pleading dear Jesus, 02:36 please save Ben. 02:38 She realized that Ben had been so braved 02:41 and because of Ben's bravery, her life was saved. 02:45 She couldn't even bear the thought 02:47 of losing her precious Ben. 02:49 Well pretty soon, she went back to check on Him 02:51 and she came back she was so excited and so thankful. 02:55 Ben was, his swelling was going down 02:58 and he was even started to look normal again. 03:00 And within one week, Ben had fully recovered. 03:04 He was back to his old self. 03:05 Ben was a loyal friend of Margie, wasn't he? 03:09 He was willing the give his life for hers. 03:12 Does that remind you of someone? 03:14 Boys and girls, Jesus is that sort of loyal friend 03:18 to you that Ben was to Margie. 03:21 He took the Rattlesnake bite of sin 03:24 when he died on the cross so that you could live. 03:28 Have you think Jesus for being your loyal friend?
