God is love! 00:22 Hi, boys and girls. 00:23 I'm sitting here having my worship today and I love Psalms. 00:28 And in Psalms, did you know it says 00:30 how much we're supposed to praise our Heavenly Father. 00:34 I would like you to take back on a time when someone praised you 00:37 for something that you did or maybe you got a special award 00:42 for a perfect attendance at school 00:44 or maybe someone just said, 00:46 oh you're such a wonderful friend, 00:48 I just love you. 00:50 Do you remember how good you felt at that moment? 00:53 It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? 00:55 I receive letters and emails from all over the world 00:59 thanking me for Kids Time and Kids Time Praise. 01:03 And you know what, I just love 01:05 getting those letters from you boys and girls. 01:07 And I especially love those letters when you tell me 01:10 about how much you love certain parts on the program. 01:14 And it feels so good to get your thanks. 01:16 I want you to know I love each and everyone of you, 01:19 and I can't wait to meet you in person 01:21 and give you a great big hug, 01:24 if not here on this earth then someday in heaven. 01:27 That's what praise is all about. 01:30 Praise simply means telling someone 01:32 how much you appreciate them 01:34 and how much you love them and how much they need you. 01:36 Did you know that God loves that when we praise Him? 01:40 And we can praise God by telling Him how thankful we are 01:44 for all the things that He has done for us. 01:46 And by acknowledging what a great and generous God He is. 01:49 We can thank Him for His love 01:51 and His patience and forgiveness. 01:53 And we can tell Him that we just can't wait 01:56 to see Him in heaven some day. 01:58 Think about some other things that God has done for you 02:01 and then don't forget to praise Jesus and thank Him. 02:05 I'm so thankful that Jesus died on the cross for us, 02:08 so that our sins could be forgiven, aren't you? 02:10 And I'm looking forward to heaven 02:13 where there won't be anymore broken hearts or you know, 02:16 dangerous storms or pain or suffering. 02:19 Oh, I'm praising God 02:21 and I love Him so much for all of those things. 02:24 One of the best ways to give God the gift of praise 02:28 is through music, and that's why we call 02:30 this program Kids Time Praise. 02:32 Now here in Psalms 98 it tells us, 02:35 "O sing in to the Lord a new song, 02:38 for he has done marvelous things". 02:42 It also tells us to shout joyfully to the Lord 02:45 and to break forth in songs rejoice and sing praises. 02:50 And that's what we're going to do today, 02:52 praise God and tell Him through music 02:54 how much we love and we appreciate Him. 02:57 We've gathered together some wonderful praise songs 03:00 to lift your spirits and help you praise God all day long. 03:14 When I wake up in the morning, And I lift up my head, 03:19 I sing, "Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord." 03:24 When I row right out of bed, And my feet hit the floor, 03:29 I sing, "Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord." 03:34 Good morning, Lord, I love You, I just wanted You to know. 03:38 Here's my heart, my life, my will, 03:40 myself I gave it all to You. 03:43 Take my life and use it, Guide my feet along the way. 03:50 May my mind renew Your Spirit fill me, I pray. 03:52 When I wake up in the morning, And I lift up my head, 03:57 I sing, "Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord." 04:09 [music] 06:52 Praise Him, praise Him, all ye little children, 06:58 God is love, God is love, 07:05 Praise Him, praise Him, all ye little children, 07:11 God is love, God is love. 07:18 Love Him, love Him, all ye little children, 07:24 God is love, God is love, 07:30 Love Him, love Him, all ye little children, 07:36 God is love, God is love. 07:43 Thank Him, thank Him, all ye little children, 07:49 God is love, God is love, 07:55 Thank Him, thank Him, all ye little children, 08:01 God is love, God is love. 08:18 [music] 10:34 There's within my heart a melody Jesus whispers sweet and low, 10:43 Fear not, I am with thee, peace, be still, 10:47 In all of life's ebb and flow. 10:50 Jesus, loving, Jesus, Sweetest name I know, 10:58 Fills my every longing, Keeps me singing as I go. 11:07 Feasting on the riches of His grace, 11:12 Resting 'neath His shelt'ring wing, 11:16 Always looking on His smiling face, 11:20 That is why I shout and sing. 11:24 Soon He's coming back to welcome me, 11:28 Far beyond the starry sky;
