04:37 And by the light 04:41 Of that same star 04:45 Three wise men came from country far 04:53 To seek for a King 04:57 Was their intent 05:01 And to follow the star 05:05 Wherever it went 05:09 Noel, Noel, 05:13 Noel, Noel 05:18 Born is the King 05:21 Of Israel! 07:55 The herald angels sing 07:58 Glory to the newborn king 08:04 Glory to the newborn 08:09 Glory to 08:11 The newborn 08:16 King 08:20 Amen. 08:24 One of the things that I love most about Aaliah 08:26 is her great big heart. 08:28 She likes to share Jesus by helping tutor her classmates 08:31 that are having trouble with their school work and, 08:33 you know, what I really what love to is 08:34 that she's never ashamed to pray in public. 08:36 Amen. 08:38 Well, Eric came to Kids Time a couple of years ago 08:40 and I was so impressed with his musical ability, 08:42 when he was just four years old, 08:44 he discovered a violin at a yard sale 08:46 and after much negotiating 08:48 his parents purchased it for just $50. 08:51 Since he was so small, 08:53 he turned the violin upright and played it like a cello. 08:56 Well, he's been playing a cello ever since. 08:59 Well, right now, he's going to play 09:00 the "The Holly and the Ivy", 09:02 and his friend Nana who is only 11 years old 09:04 is going to accompany him. 10:33 Amen! 10:37 Samantha and Jessica are sisters that have come 10:39 all the way from Canada. 10:41 They first sang on Kids Time two years ago 10:43 and I love their family harmony. 10:45 I want to tell you a little story about Jessica. 10:47 When she was thee years old, 10:49 she insisted on singing a song all by herself 10:52 at her cousin's baby dedication. 10:54 Well, she did make it through the song, 10:56 "Jesus loves me and Jesus loves the little children." 11:00 But she was standing really close to her mom at the piano, 11:03 but as soon as she was done singing, 11:04 she ran straight for her daddy. 11:07 Well, today she's singing duet with her sister, 11:09 "There's a Song in the Air" and I don't think 11:12 she'll be running off the platform today. 11:29 There's a song in the air! 11:32 There's a star in the sky! 11:35 There's a mother's deep prayer 11:39 And a baby's low cry! 11:42 And the star rains its fire 11:44 While the beautiful sing 11:48 For the manger of Bethlehem 11:52 Cradles a king! 12:00 There's a tumult of joy 12:03 O'er the wonderful birth 12:06 For the virgin's sweet boy 12:10 Is the Lord of the earth 12:13 And the star rains its fire 12:15 While the beautiful sing 12:19 For the manger of Bethlehem 12:23 Cradles a King! 12:31 We rejoice in the light 12:34 And we echo the song 12:37 That comes down through the night 12:40 From the heavenly throne 12:44 And we shout to the lovely 12:47 Evangel they bring, 12:50 And we greet in his cradle 12:53 Our savior and king! 13:09 Thank you, girls, so much for that message in song. 13:11 Right now I want you to introduce you to Pierce 13:13 who actually is not far from here. 13:15 Whenever he sings, 13:17 he always has the big smile on his face 13:19 and everybody knows how much Miss Brenda love smiles. 13:23 Well, Pierce is going to sing for us now 13:25 a beautiful Christmas carol, 13:27 "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem". 13:40 Oh little town of Bethlehem, 13:46 How still we see thee lie 13:51 Above thy deep and dreamless sleep 13:56 The silent stars go by 14:01 Yet in thy dark streets shineth, 14:06 The everlasting light 14:11 The hopes and fears of all the years 14:17 Are met in thee tonight 14:22 For Christ is born of Mary, 14:28 And gathered all above 14:33 While mortals sleep the angels keep 14:39 Their watch of wondering love 14:44 Oh morning stars together, 14:50 Proclaim that holiest birth 14:55 And praises sing to God the king, 15:01 And peace to men on earth 15:17 How silently, how silently 15:23 The wondrous gift is given! 15:28 So God imparts to human hearts 15:34 The blessings of His heaven 15:39 No ear may hear His coming 15:45 But in this world of sin 15:50 Where meek souls 15:52 Will receive him still 16:00 The dear Christ enters in 16:07 Amen! 16:32 No beautiful chamber, 16:36 No soft cradle bed 16:39 No place but a manger, 16:43 Nowhere for His head 16:46 No praises of gladness, 16:50 No thought of their sin 16:53 No glory but sadness, 16:57 No room in the inn 17:00 No room, no room, for Jesus 17:03 Oh, give Him welcome free 17:07 Lest you should hear at Heaven's gate 17:10 "There is no room for thee" 17:21 No one to receive Him 17:24 No welcome while here 17:27 No balm to relieve Him 17:31 No staff but a spear 17:34 No seeking His treasure 17:38 No weeping for sin 17:41 No doing His pleasure 17:45 No room in the inn 17:48 No room, no room, for Jesus 17:51 Oh, give Him welcome free 17:55 Lest you should hear at Heaven's gate 17:58 "There is no room for thee" 18:13 Amen! 18:16 Allison and Christopher had been playing 18:18 their violins on Kids Time for several years now. 18:21 And they're always eager to witness for Jesus. 18:24 In fact, Allison is saving for a trip to Africa next year 18:27 to help the children there. 18:28 I had the privilege of going to Africa myself, 18:30 and I can tell you firsthand that the need is great. 18:34 I absolutely fell in love with the people there 18:35 and I'm excited that my sisters, 18:37 Auntie Linda and Miss Cinda will be joining me 18:39 on a trip back to South Africa 18:41 for their TV out camp meeting in April. 18:43 Let's listen as they play the song now 18:45 about the birth of Jesus. 20:47 Amen! 20:50 They make it look so easy, don't they? 20:53 I recently asked Christopher 20:54 what was his favorite Bible text, 20:56 and so, boys and girls, write this down 20:59 so you can read in your Bible, okay. 21:01 He told me, Ephesians 3:14-21. 21:05 He likes that text because it says, 21:07 God wants to strengthen us and put His spirit in us. 21:11 I love that, don't you? 21:12 Why don't you send me a letter and tell me 21:14 what your favorite Bible text is 21:15 and don't forget to tell me why, I'd love to hear from you. 21:19 But right now we're going to listen 21:20 as Aaliah sings my very favorite Christmas carol, 21:23 "Silent Night". 21:33 Silent Night 21:38 Holy Night 21:43 All is calm 21:47 All is bright 21:52 Round yon virgin 21:57 Mother and child 22:01 Holy infant 22:05 So tender and mild 22:10 Sleep in 22:13 Heavenly peace 22:20 Sleep in 22:22 Heavenly peace 22:29 Silent Night 22:34 Holy Night 22:38 Shepherds pray 22:43 At the sight 22:47 Glory streams 22:51 From heaven afar 22:56 Heavenly hosts 23:00 Sing alleluia 23:05 Christ the Savior 23:10 Is born 23:16 Christ the Savior 23:20 Is born 23:30 Amen! 28:00 Thank you, Toni-Ann. 28:02 Today is a very special today for Zana 28:04 because she is not only singing on Kids Time, 28:07 but she is also singing in her very own home church. 28:10 Amen! That's right. 28:12 And in fact, she is the reason that we're here today. 28:15 Zana wanted to share Kids Time with her church family, 28:18 so she made the request to her pastor and here we are. 28:22 She sings here on a regular basis 28:24 and also travels to many different churches 28:26 singing songs about Jesus. 28:28 She loves God very much 28:29 and she is a witness everywhere she goes. 28:32 Right now she is going to sing a very popular 28:34 and familiar carol, "Away in a Manger". 28:49 Away in a manger 28:54 No crib for a bed 28:59 The little Lord Jesus 29:03 Lay down his sweet head 29:08 The stars in the bright sky 29:13 Look down where he laid 29:17 The little Lord Jesus 29:22 Asleep on the hay 29:26 The cattle are lowing 29:31 The baby awakes 29:35 But little Lord Jesus 29:40 No crying he makes 29:44 I love thee Lord Jesus 29:48 Look down from the sky 29:53 And stay by my side 29:57 'Til morning is nigh 30:02 I love thee Lord Jesus 30:06 Look down from the sky 30:11 And stay by my side 30:16 'Til morning is nigh 30:22 Amen! 30:26 That song is about Jesus 30:28 who was brought into this world as a tiny baby, 30:31 but His mission was not tiny at all, was it? 30:33 He was born to be the savior of man. 30:36 He ransomed us from this world we were held captive in sin. 30:40 In Matthew 1:23 it says, "Behold the virgin shall be 30:45 with the child and bear a son 30:47 and they shall call his name Emmanuel", 30:49 which is translated God with us. 30:52 Pierce is going to sing, 30:54 "O Come, O come Emmanuel!" 31:05 O come, O come, Emmanuel 31:13 And ransom captive Israel 31:21 That mourns in lonely exile here 31:28 Until the Son of God appear 31:36 Rejoice! 42:12 Well, let's listen as Christiana and Chrissa play, 42:15 "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear". 44:12 Amen! 44:16 I just love songs that praise the Lord. 44:19 There are so many times we go to our heavenly Father 44:21 to ask for things, but not enough times 44:24 when we go just to praise Him for the awesome God that He is. 44:28 Can you imagine how the angels felt 44:29 on that very special night, 44:31 so long ago when Jesus was born? 44:33 They wanted to tell everybody to come and worship 44:35 the new born king. 44:37 Zana is going to praise the Lord now as she sings 44:40 "O Come All Ye Faithful". 44:53 O come, all ye faithful 45:01 Joyful and triumphant 45:06 O come ye, 45:09 O come ye 45:12 To Bethlehem 45:19 Come and behold Him 45:25 Born the King of Angels! 45:30 O come, let us adore Him 45:37 O come, let us adore Him 45:42 O come, let us adore Him 45:49 Christ the Lord 45:55 Sing, choirs of angels 46:01 Sing in exaltation 46:07 Oh, sing, all ye citizens 46:13 Of heav'n above 46:19 Glory to God 46:25 Glory in the highest 46:30 Oh, come let us adore Him 46:36 Oh, come let us adore Him 46:42 Oh, come let us adore Him 46:48 Christ the Lord 46:53 Oh, come let us adore Him 47:00 Christ 47:07 The Lord 47:11 Amen! 47:15 There are many songs written about the birth of the savior 47:18 because of what an important event it was. 47:20 Just think, if Jesus had never been born in this earth 47:23 and His blood shed on Calvary, 47:25 then none of us would be able to have eternal life. 47:28 God's love is so amazing, isn't it?
