00:06 Looking for a friend like Jesus
00:09 It's time to share
00:11 There's a world out there
00:13 Let's tell them that He loves us so
00:16 Let's tell them that He loves us so
00:20 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time
00:26 Hello, and welcome
00:27 to our Kids Time Holiday Special.
00:29 We're here at Great Lakes Adventist Academy
00:31 in Cedar Lake, Michigan.
00:32 And I'm telling you we're really enjoying visiting
00:34 with the academy students and the faculty.
00:37 They've been really, really helpful.
00:38 In fact, if you look closely during our Bible story today,
00:41 you will see many of the students
00:42 that are members of the gymnastics team,
00:44 the aeros and also their coach.
00:47 I'm so glad you've joined us for this program,
00:49 celebrating the birth of Christ.
00:51 You know, this time of year, we especially like to remember
00:54 what a precious and wonderful gift
00:56 God gave to each of us
00:58 when He gave us His only son Jesus.
01:01 Now did you know the angels were there
01:04 when Jesus was born?
01:05 And they were so happy that they sang songs of praise
01:09 and they gave God glory to God in the highest.
01:11 Well, you know what?
01:12 We don't really know what angels look like, do we?
01:15 But this is what some people think
01:17 an angel might look like.
01:18 Isn't this angel beautiful?
01:20 Well, did you know
01:21 that angels have feelings like we do?
01:23 That's right.
01:24 They get excited, and they get happy,
01:27 and they also love, and they care about us.
01:30 In today's Bible story,
01:31 you're going to hear about angels
01:33 that were very sad.
01:34 That's right, they were sad because...
01:38 Well, I better not say anything more,
01:41 you're going to have to wait and find out
01:42 when you hear our Bible story today.
01:44 But first, I want to see what Ranger Jim has brought us.
01:47 I'm so happy that Ranger Jim's with us.
01:49 And, you know what,
01:51 I always learn so much about nature
01:52 when Ranger Jim is around.
01:54 And nature, you know, is God's second book.
01:56 Ranger Jim, what do you have to show us?
01:59 Well, welcome, boys and girls,
02:00 we're glad that you can join us today on Nature Time.
02:03 I have a new friend.
02:04 This is my friend Randy
02:05 and he has brought a pet tonight.
02:07 Randy, what is this?
02:08 This is a black-footed ferret.
02:10 And what's his name?
02:12 Joey. Joey.
02:13 And how old is Joey?
02:16 About six.
02:17 He is almost as old as you are.
02:20 Since you were a little boy early way
02:21 you've had him around.
02:23 And I always ask, boys and girls,
02:24 what does he like to eat?
02:27 He likes to eat cat food.
02:28 He likes cat food. Okay.
02:31 Boys and girls, ferrets are very, very popular
02:34 as pets in the US.
02:36 Most people are amazed when I tell them
02:38 that ferrets are only third in line
02:40 behind dogs and cats as pets.
02:43 Did you realize that more than 10.5 million ferrets
02:47 are pets in America?
02:48 They're legal in almost every state,
02:50 there is one I believe Hawaii still has rules against that
02:54 and some people have feared the monkeypox
02:57 that was out recently involving prairie dogs
03:00 and they have confused that with ferrets.
03:03 But ferrets are a wonderful pet
03:05 and this one is in excellent health
03:07 for his age, usually 6 to 8 years.
03:10 And I understand that at your house, Randy,
03:13 you built a habitat for Joey to go out and play in.
03:16 What is this about?
03:18 Well, we keep him out there in the summer
03:22 and it's built out of plastic platforms
03:28 or something and there's plastic tunnels
03:31 going underground for him.
03:32 So he can go underground just like in burrows
03:35 and they are very curious, aren't they?
03:36 Mm-hmm.
03:38 They like to explore everything
03:39 and I was visiting in Randy's home
03:41 and I see that you have some gates up
03:42 to control where he can go
03:44 so that he might not injure himself.
03:45 And so you keeping him out in summertime
03:47 but you keep him out...
03:48 Does he stay out during the night there or...
03:50 No, he goes in our laundry room.
03:52 Oh, yeah, that's a laundry.
03:54 At night and in the winter.
03:55 And ferrets have three main things
03:57 they like to do,
03:59 they like to play, and eat, and sleep.
04:02 Ferrets on an average will sleep 20 hours a day.
04:06 So they enjoy sleeping and playing,
04:08 and they love to play games of all kinds.
04:11 What does Joey like to do? He like to play tug of war?
04:14 No, he likes to take stuff and hide behind our freezer.
04:18 He hides things behind the freezer.
04:20 This is another characteristic of the ferret.
04:22 He will find shiny things or what have you
04:24 and he will stash them.
04:26 Hide them behind the bed
04:27 or hide them behind the freezer,
04:28 things of that nature.
04:30 So the ferret is a curious creature
04:32 and, boys and girls, this is a little male.
04:35 You know what we call a boy ferret?
04:38 We call him a hob, H-O-B.
04:40 If it's a girl, that's a little jil.
04:44 And can you imagine what we call...
04:45 We have a flock of chickens,
04:47 a herd of cows, a pod of whales,
04:50 and we have a group of ferrets
04:51 we call that a business of ferrets, isn't that weird?
04:56 But they are wonderful creatures,
04:57 they make a wonderful pet.
04:59 If you were interested in having one,
05:01 you would have to be careful of being sure
05:04 that you could ferret proof your home.
05:06 You wouldn't want an extension cord around
05:08 because they might curiously chew on that
05:09 and electrocute themself, and things of that nature.
05:12 But they do make a wonderful pet,
05:14 they are somewhat like a cat that is independent.
05:17 With your dog you can say,
05:18 "Oh, come and jump in my lap" every time, right?
05:22 Yes.
05:23 But a cat, some days a cat doesn't care
05:26 if he comes in your lap or not,
05:28 he will choose his own time, right?
05:29 You have one of those that's out of control to have.
05:32 Well, that's sort of with the ferret too.
05:34 Your ferret, does he make any sounds?
05:36 Yeah, he...
05:38 It sounds like he is making kind of a grunting sound
05:41 or some things whenever he is playing
05:43 and running backwards at the same time.
05:45 Oh, so he makes sort of a...
05:46 It's almost like he is chuckling...
05:50 Like he's laughing at you sometime, right?
05:52 And so they do love to have fun,
05:55 you can put a ping pong on a ball, on the floor,
05:58 a roll of towels, or anything, and they will amuse you.
06:02 If you have two or more ferrets and they are in one room,
06:05 you'll hurt yourself laughing, I promise you.
06:07 They are absolutely amusing, they are of the weasel family,
06:12 and the mink being the largest,
06:14 sometime in Europe referred to as a polecat,
06:17 he is the largest of that family.
06:18 So the weasels of all kind they are related to the otter
06:24 and also a distant cousin is the skunk.
06:26 And the skunk is also an interesting creature.
06:29 This is a very, very, nice ferret.
06:33 Now he wants to smell the microphone.
06:34 Would you chuckle for us just one time?
06:36 No, he won't chuckle for us tonight.
06:38 Boys and girls,
06:39 these creatures are such a wonderful blessing to us.
06:42 Who could see one of these creatures
06:44 and not know
06:45 that our wonderful heavenly Father
06:47 made it for us see and enjoy.
06:49 So thank you again, Randy, for bringing your pet tonight.
06:52 And, boys and girls, Ranger Jim is always saying,
06:54 "Don't forget to tell Jesus, that you love Him
06:57 because He really does love you."
07:02 Thank you, Ranger Jim.
07:03 I learned a lot more about the ferret, didn't you?
07:07 Right now the Cadet Sisters are going to sing for us.
07:10 You know, they come a long way, all the way from Utah,
07:13 and I just love every one of these girls.
07:15 One of the best things I love about them though,
07:18 is how much they love Jesus.
07:20 Let's listen as they sing, "Silent night".
07:24 Silent night
07:29 Holy night
07:33 All is calm
07:38 All is bright
07:43 Round yon virgin
07:48 Mother and child
07:53 Holy infant
07:57 So tender and mild
08:03 Sleep in
08:05 Heavenly peace
08:13 Sleep in
08:15 Heavenly peace
08:22 Silent night
08:27 Holy night
08:32 All is calm
08:37 All is light
08:42 Shepherds heard
08:47 The angels sing
08:52 Hallelujah
08:58 Hail the King
09:03 Christ the Savior
09:07 Is born
09:13 Christ the Savior
09:17 Is born
09:24 Silent night
09:29 Holy night
09:34 Son of God love's
09:41 Pure light
09:44 Radiant beams
09:48 From Thy holy face
09:54 With dawn of redeeming
10:02 Grace Jesus Lord
10:08 At Thy birth
10:14 Jesus Lord
10:18 At Thy birth
10:25 Jesus Lord
10:29 At Thy birth
10:40 Thank you, girls,
10:42 Silent Night is my very favorite song.
10:44 It is my very favorite...
10:45 Well, Christmas song anyway.
10:47 You know, I play the piano by ear and it was...
10:49 I was 10 years old when I played my first song
10:53 and Silent Night was the first song that I played,
10:56 so I just love that song
10:58 and I love that beautiful family harmony.
11:00 Speaking of family, I'm so excited to have Buddy
11:03 and the Kids Time singers with us.
11:05 I love these kids so much.
11:07 And, you know, we've been together so long
11:09 that to me they feel like family,
11:11 and nobody, I mean, nobody sings and plays
11:14 with so much enthusiasm
11:16 quite like Buddy Houghtaling, isn't that right?
11:18 Well, the first song that they are singing tonight
11:21 is called "Tiny King".
11:32 Hark the herald angels sing
11:37 Glory to the newborn
11:41 King, tiny King, tiny King, tiny King
11:45 King, tiny King, tiny King, tiny King
11:49 King, tiny King, tiny King, tiny King
11:53 Mary had a Baby, tiny King, tiny King
11:57 He was born in a manger in Bethlehem
12:01 Mary had a Baby, tiny King, tiny King
12:05 And they say that his name was Wonderful
12:10 Counselor Lord of all the earth
12:17 Mary had a Baby, tiny King, tiny King
12:20 He was born in a manger in Bethlehem
12:25 Mary had a Baby, tiny King, tiny King
12:28 And they say that his name was Wonderful
12:33 Counselor Lord of all the earth
12:38 Joyful all ye nations rise
12:42 Join the triumph of the skies
12:46 With angelic host proclaim
12:54 Mary had a Baby, tiny King, tiny King
12:57 He was born in a manger in Bethlehem
13:01 Mary had a Baby, tiny King, tiny King
13:05 And they say that his name was Wonderful
13:10 Counselor Lord of all the earth
13:14 King, tiny King, tiny King
13:16 Lord of the earth King, tiny King, tiny King
13:20 Lord of the earth King, tiny King, tiny King
13:25 Tiny King
13:29 Amen.
13:51 Whose is that star
13:54 We've seen in the East Bethlehem town
14:00 You're not the least
14:03 Who sings that song
14:06 Of love and of light
14:09 Angels and Heaven's
14:12 Hosts fill up the night
14:15 Glory to God
14:18 In the highest
14:21 Peace on the earth
14:24 And good will to men
14:29 Who is this Child
14:32 This Baby Boy
14:35 Who but the Son of God
14:38 Could bring so much joy
14:41 What is His Name
14:43 This Lamb to be slain
14:46 Jesus the Christ
14:49 The King Who will reign
14:52 Glory to God
14:55 In the highest
14:58 Peace on the earth
15:01 And good will to men
15:05 What can I give
15:09 What can I bring
15:11 What is a gift
15:14 That is fit for a King
15:17 I'll give my life
15:20 Not just a part
15:23 I'll give my all to Him
15:32 I'll give my heart
15:39 Amen.
15:48 Just another night on the hillside
15:51 Shining white to tell the morning light
15:55 Shall we try, to try to make it somber
15:58 Can we just make it through the night
16:02 Suddenly the night stands still
16:09 Brilliant radiance floods the hill
16:14 Messiah is born King of every nation
16:18 Messiah is born to Israel
16:21 Glory to Him
16:23 He who reigns forever
16:25 Let us rejoice and worship Him
16:34 Three old men meet the Bright Morning Star
16:39 Witnessed history in the making
16:43 We must go and see God's son
16:46 Suddenly the night stands still
16:52 Brilliant radiance floods the hill
16:58 Messiah is born King of every nation
17:02 Messiah is born to Israel
17:05 Glory to Him
17:06 He who reigns forever
17:08 Let us rejoice and worship Him
17:14 Oh, God let us adore Him
17:18 Oh, God let us adore Him
17:21 Oh, God let us adore Him
17:28 Messiah is born King of every nation
17:31 Messiah is born to Israel
17:35 Glory to Him He who reigns forever
17:38 Let us rejoice and worship Him
17:44 Let us rejoice and worship Him
17:55 Thank you, Kids Time singers,
17:57 don't you jut love all those beautiful smiles?
17:59 You know, someone else that always had
18:01 the beautiful smile is Kaitlyn Tillman.
18:04 Kaitlyn has been singing on Kids Time
18:06 for several years now
18:07 and comes all the way from Tennessee.
18:10 She is going to sing first now a song called,
18:12 "Away in a manger".
18:22 Away in a manger, no crib for a bed
18:30 The little Lord Jesus laid down
18:35 His sweet head
18:38 The stars in the sky
18:42 Looked down where He lay
18:46 The little Lord Jesus
18:51 Asleep on the hay
18:57 Be near me, Lord Jesus
19:02 I ask thee to stay
19:06 Close by me forever
19:10 And love me, I pray
19:15 Bless all the dear children
19:20 In thy loving care
19:24 And take us to heaven
19:28 To live with you there
19:36 Won't it be wonderful when we get to heaven
19:38 and we can all sing and play an instrument?
19:41 I've always wanted to play the violin
19:43 but I know that I'm going to have to wait
19:44 till I go to heaven before that happens.
19:47 But there are some very talented musicians here today
19:50 that God has blessed
19:51 with very special musical talent.
19:53 And you may recognize Isabel, Sarah, and Wen-Ting
19:56 as they've been on Kids Time many times.
19:59 Well, they've invited their friends Melody,
20:01 Vienne and Katrina to join them
20:04 as they play, "O come, all ye faithful".
22:18 Amen. Amen.
22:19 Sofia first sang on Kids Time
22:21 when she was just three years old,
22:23 that's right, three.
22:25 She wasn't bothered a bit by the cameras
22:26 and you know what?
22:28 She just sang her little heart right out,
22:29 but she is quite a bit bigger now
22:31 and she still sings for Jesus everywhere she goes.
22:34 I'm glad that she is with us today singing,
22:36 "There's a song in the air".
22:48 There's a song in the air
22:53 There's a star in the sky
22:57 There's a mother's deep prayer
23:01 And a baby's low cry
23:05 And the star rains its fire
23:09 While the beautiful sing
23:13 For the manger of Bethlehem
23:18 Cradles a King
23:24 There's a tumult of joy
23:28 O'er the wonderful birth
23:32 For the virgin's sweet boy
23:37 Is the Lord of the earth
23:41 Aye! the star rains its fire
23:44 While the beautiful sing
23:49 For the manger of Bethlehem
23:54 Cradles a King
24:00 In the light of that star
24:04 Lie the ages impearled
24:09 And that song from afar
24:13 Has swept over the world
24:17 Every hearth is aflame
24:20 And the beautiful sing
24:25 In the homes of the nations
24:29 That Jesus is King
24:35 We rejoice in the light
24:40 And we echo the song
24:44 That comes down through the night
24:48 From the heavenly throng
24:52 Aye! we shout to the Lovely evangel they bring
25:00 And we greet in His cradle
25:05 Our Savior and King
25:16 Thank you, Sofia.
25:18 Well, it's learning time, boys and girls.
25:21 And Ben Roy is here and I can't wait to see
25:23 what science experiment he has for us.
25:25 He always makes learning time fun, doesn't he?
25:28 Ben, what are you going to show us today?
25:31 Oh, hey, we've got some wonderful things today.
25:33 You know, it's Christmas time
25:35 and I was thinking about a Christmas experiment
25:38 that we could do.
25:39 And we've got Elaina, and Trevor, and Kelsa,
25:42 and, you know, we're gonna do some experiments
25:44 with some Christmas colors
25:45 because I love Christmas colors.
25:47 Let's see what we can get.
25:48 First of all, since we're working
25:50 with chemicals we got to protect our eyes
25:53 so let's get our safety glasses on, all right.
25:55 All right.
25:56 And don't you think we look good
25:58 with our safety glasses on?
25:59 Oh, yeah, we're ready to go. I'll tell you what?
26:02 We're gonna use some chemicals, okay.
26:03 We're gonna put that right there for now.
26:05 And I want you to hang on to that one right there.
26:08 And I want you to hang on to this one.
26:10 Those are two very special chemicals
26:12 and let's see.
26:13 I'm wondering what might happen
26:15 if we just take chemical A and put it
26:18 and add it to chemical B, you think it will work?
26:22 Hey, let's give a three, two, one.
26:23 You wanna help me with this? Let's go.
26:24 Three, two, one, pour it in there, Elaina,
26:28 see what we can get on this.
26:30 Let's see what happens when this...
26:33 What did you make?
26:35 Blue.
26:36 What did you make? Blue.
26:38 Blue. Do you like blue?
26:39 Yes. I love blue.
26:40 It reminds me of Christmas,
26:42 the blue sky that is so interesting.
26:44 I'm gonna take this let's put this back here.
26:46 Trevor, I got tube for you.
26:48 I can't hardly wait to see what happens,
26:51 when we mix chemical A to chemical B.
26:53 Another three, two, one. Let's go.
26:55 Three, two, one.
26:58 Let's see what happens to this one with Trevor.
27:02 That's fantastic, green and blue
27:04 those are wonderful Christmas colors.
27:07 I love that. Let's put this over here.
27:09 Kelsa, we got one left.
27:11 I bet you can tell what color this is gonna be.
27:14 Oh, let's find out.
27:16 I want you to put this one in this hand.
27:17 And how about another three, two, one.
27:19 Are we ready? All right.
27:20 Three, two, one, go ahead and put it in there.
27:27 Wow, we made some Christmas color.
27:29 We've got, what, blue, and we've got green,
27:32 and we've got red.
27:33 Those are all very pretty Christmas colors.
27:36 You know what?
27:37 That reminds me something about something.
27:39 Do you know that this is the Christmas season
27:43 and when the Christmas season it talks about colors,
27:46 I think about God the Father, God the Son,
27:49 and God the Holy Spirit, there are three colors.
27:52 Let's do an experiment with these colors.
27:54 Why don't, Elaina, why don't you pour your colors
27:57 in this beaker
27:58 and let's find out what happens here.
28:00 Oh, that's still pretty blue and let's go ahead
28:02 and add some green to it, Trevor.
28:06 Wow. And how about yours, Kelsa.
28:08 Let's see what happens when we add that to it.
28:11 Wow, and we've got some really neat colors in here.
28:14 Did it make one color?
28:16 Oh, it made one color, but we're not finished yet.
28:19 I'm gonna tell let's put this one in here.
28:21 I'm gonna take this little piece of paper,
28:23 we're gonna get it wet with that chemical color.
28:26 Let's see what happens,
28:28 when we take this out very carefully,
28:30 and I'm gonna kind of squeeze it.
28:32 We're working with nontoxic colors right here
28:34 and chemicals.
28:36 And I'll pull this thing out, and you know what?
28:38 That thing is really nice and white,
28:40 and I don't know about you but that makes one color,
28:43 that means the Godhead, the Father, the Son,
28:46 and the Holy Spirit together they make one,
28:49 isn't that interesting?
28:50 Wow, science is so much fun.
28:52 Every time we learn something new about science,
28:55 you know what?
28:57 We're learning something new about our creator.
29:00 It's God.
29:02 Wasn't that exciting, boys and girls?
29:04 It's fun to learn about science, isn't it?
29:07 Well, I want you introduce you to someone right now,
29:09 his name is Joshua, and he's just nine years old.
29:12 You know, just recently Joshua has asked for baptism
29:15 because he wants to give his heart to Jesus,
29:17 isn't that wonderful?
29:18 Joshua has come all the way from Georgia
29:20 and he's going to sing first now,
29:22 "Hark The Herald Angels Sing"
29:24 followed by a lot more praise.
29:39 Hark the herald angels sing
29:44 "Glory to the newborn king"
29:48 Peace on earth, and mercy mild
29:53 God and sinners reconciled
29:58 Joyful all ye nations rise
30:03 Join the triumph of the skies
30:07 With angelic host proclaim
30:12 Christ is born in Bethlehem
30:16 Hark the herald angels sing
30:21 Glory to the newborn king
30:29 Mild he lays his glory by
30:34 Born that man no more may die
30:39 Born to raise the sons of earth
30:43 Born to give them second birth
30:48 Risen with healing in his wings
30:52 Light and life to all he brings
30:57 Hail the son of righteousness
31:01 Hail the heaven born prince of peace
31:06 Hark the herald angels sing
31:11 Glory to the newborn king
31:19 Amen.
32:35 Thank you, girls, it's a pleasure to have
32:37 the Drake family with us today.
32:39 Jaymen, Noah, and Mela,
32:41 and they're going to sing a song
32:42 called "O Come Little Children".
32:59 O come little children, O come, one and all
33:05 O come to the cradle in Bethlehem's stall
33:12 And see what the Father from Heaven above
33:18 Has sent us tonight as a proof of His love
33:28 O see in the manger, in hallowed light
33:35 A star throws its beam at the holiest sight
33:41 In clean swaddling clothes lies the Heavenly Child
33:47 More lovely than angels this Baby so mild
33:58 O there lies the Christ-Child on hay and on straw
34:05 The shepherds are kneeling before Him with awe
34:11 And Mary and Joseph smile on Him with love
34:17 While angels are singing sweet songs from above
34:23 While angels are singing sweet songs from above
34:35 Amen.
34:37 Thank you kids for that song.
34:38 I just love it when families sing together, don't you?
34:40 And you know what?
34:42 My sisters and I were about that size,
34:43 when we started singing together.
34:45 And today is the first time that the Drake family has
34:47 ever sang on Kids Time,
34:49 so I'm glad they could be with us.
34:50 And speaking of families,
34:51 the Cadet Sisters are going to sing
34:53 another song for us called "O Come Emmanuel".
35:10 O come, O come, Emmanuel
35:16 And ransom captive Israel
35:23 That mourns in lonely exile here
35:29 Until the Son of God appears
35:36 Rejoice! Rejoice!
35:41 Emmanuel
35:45 Shall come to thee, O Israel
36:11 O come Thou Wisdom from on high
36:17 Who orderest all things mightily
36:24 To us the path of knowledge show
36:30 And teach us in her ways to go
36:38 Rejoice! Rejoice!
36:46 Emmanuel
36:50 Shall come to thee
36:52 O Israel
36:59 Shall come to thee
37:01 O Israel
37:21 Angels we have heard on high
37:26 Singing sweetly through the night
37:31 And the mountains in reply
37:35 Echoing their brave delight
37:40 Gloria
37:48 In excelsis Deo!
37:53 Gloria
38:01 In excelsis Deo!
38:14 Let's go back in Bible time
38:15 to the little town of Bethlehem.
38:17 The marketplace is buzzing with activity.
38:20 Everyone is anxious to sell their goods.
38:23 People are going from shop to shop
38:25 to find the very best deal.
38:27 Two angels are looking down at the marketplace
38:30 below them watching and waiting to see
38:32 the reaction of the people,
38:34 when they hear the good news that Jesus,
38:37 their Savior is born.
38:40 It shouldn't be long now,
38:42 soon the glad tidings of the Messiah's birth
38:45 will be announced.
38:47 I feel like I could sing forever,
38:49 I love God's son
38:51 and counted my highest joy to worship Him.
38:55 I know what you mean,
38:57 even when I think about the King of the universe,
39:00 I just start singing.
39:02 All heaven has waited for this moment.
39:06 Can you imagine the excitement of these people
39:09 when they hear that their Savior has been born?
39:13 Look, there's the shepherd's daughter Anna.
39:17 Now everyone will hear the good news.
39:20 Hey, Zor Zaira,
39:21 I have the most wonderful news to tell you.
39:24 Here have some bread.
39:26 No, this bread is to sell,
39:30 not give away to every beggar girl
39:33 that comes along.
39:35 No wonder our business is not doing good,
39:38 you'll give everything away.
39:42 Begone girl, begone, we're too busy around here.
39:47 He didn't even asked me what my good news was.
39:50 Oh, look, there is Ram,
39:52 I'm sure he wants to know my good news.
39:55 Ram, did you hear the angels sing last night,
39:57 they came to tell.
39:58 No, I never hear anything in night, I should take a walk.
40:02 Anyways, who cares what happened last night,
40:03 it's market time.
40:05 Anna, look at this beautiful piece of velvet,
40:07 the color is just right for you,
40:09 and I want you to have it for half prize.
40:11 Ram, I'm not here to buy material,
40:13 I'm just here to tell you
40:14 what the angels with the shepherds
40:16 and my father last night on the hillside...
40:18 No. You see...
40:19 This piece of material matches the color of your eyes.
40:22 It's perfect for you.
40:24 Ram, listen to me, a baby was born last night,
40:26 not just any baby, the Messiah,
40:28 Ram, did you hear me the Messiah was born.
40:31 Anna, I can care less about anything going around here,
40:34 everyone's always having a baby.
40:37 It's no secret that every woman in Israel
40:40 is having this hope and her baby
40:41 will be the Messiah.
40:43 Now if you're not interested
40:44 in buying this beautiful piece of material,
40:46 then just go along,
40:47 I'm far too busy to be disturbed
40:49 by such unimportant news.
40:51 Why is it anyone don't wanna hear
40:52 about the Messiah's birth?
40:53 Don't they care?
40:55 Oh, look, there is Timart, the basket weaver.
40:58 I'm sure she wants to know about my news.
41:00 She loves hearing about what's going on in Bethlehem.
41:03 Timart, Timart,
41:05 last night the angels sent a special message,
41:08 the Messiah was born last night.
41:11 Girl, are you mad?
41:14 You must have been drinking some of that old wine
41:16 at the party last night.
41:19 Angels, they don't appear to plain,
41:23 ordinary people,
41:25 especially to shepherds like your father.
41:29 Well, they do appear to like prophets,
41:34 and priests, and kings.
41:37 I thought you had some really good news to tell me.
41:39 I'm not mad and I never drink a disgusting wine.
41:43 But I do have some important news to tell you.
41:46 That's a better regard, I don't have time for,
41:49 I don't gossip.
41:50 Well, last night the angels came to the shepherds,
41:53 and my father on the hillside,
41:55 they sang, "Glory to God in the highest,
41:57 and on earth peace, good will toward men."
42:00 My father said, the sky was so bright
42:03 that he had to cover his face,
42:05 and then one angel spoke to my father,
42:08 he told him not to be afraid and that the Savior was born,
42:11 and they could find the Savior,
42:13 in the manger wrapped in old cloth.
42:16 What?
42:17 Are you telling me that the Messiah,
42:20 our Savior was born in a stable?
42:24 And that right now,
42:25 he's laying in a dirty old manger,
42:28 wrapped in old rags?
42:30 That is the most ridiculous thing
42:32 I ever heard.
42:33 Do you expect me to believe a story like that?
42:37 Listen, when it's time for the Messiah to appear,
42:41 He will be born in a palace or in some rich home,
42:48 not in a smelly old stable.
42:51 Listen, I have a lot of baskets to sell
42:53 and I don't have time to waste on something
42:55 that shepherds dreamed up on yonder hillside
42:58 so better run along.
43:01 Surely someone wanna hear about the Messiah's birth.
43:05 Oh, I know...
43:07 Oh, look, there's priest Levi.
43:11 Get out of my way you worthless old man,
43:13 don't you know that nobody cares about you.
43:16 Priest Levi, priest Levi,
43:18 I have some wonderful news to tell you.
43:20 Last night the angels came to the shepherds
43:22 and my father on the hillside,
43:24 they sang, "Glory to God in the highest,
43:26 and on earth peace, good will toward men."
43:29 My father said, the sky was so bright
43:32 that he had to cover his face.
43:34 And the singing, it was the most beautiful singing
43:36 he had ever heard.
43:38 And then one angel spoke to him,
43:40 and he told him not to be afraid
43:42 and that the Savior been born.
43:44 And he could find the savior in a manger wrapped in old rag,
43:49 and last night my father
43:50 went to worship the brand new baby King.
43:53 I have heard enough of this nonsense,
43:55 you want me to believe that an angel would appear
43:58 to someone as unimportant as your father,
44:00 with such important news?
44:02 I think not.
44:04 If and when the Messiah is born,
44:07 I will be one of the first to hear about it.
44:09 Priest Levi, but it's really true.
44:12 I am on my way to worship the new baby king
44:14 right now in the innkeeper stable.
44:16 Please come with me
44:17 so you know what I'm saying is true.
44:19 Priest Levi, please. A stable?
44:22 Are you expecting me to believe that this baby born
44:25 in a smelly old stable
44:27 with a bunch of animals is the Messiah?
44:30 You must be mad.
44:33 I would never defile myself
44:35 by going into a filthy old stable.
44:38 Leave me alone,
44:39 I have a lot of important business to do
44:41 in the market today.
44:43 We have waited so long for the Messiah to be born
44:47 and now that He is here, no one even seems to care.
44:50 Look at them, they're buying and selling
44:52 like nothing's even happened.
44:54 Why isn't anyone believe me that the Savior's been born?
44:57 Why isn't anyone want to go worship Him with me?
45:02 Hey, don't cry.
45:06 I do believe, for He has come.
45:11 After all this time of waiting,
45:16 praise God, our deliverer has come.
45:20 Let's go worship Him.
45:22 Let's go worship Him together.
45:30 I wonder why God would send his only Son
45:33 to save such a people as these,
45:36 they would rather buy and sell their worthless goods
45:39 than to worship their king.
45:41 How sad.
45:44 Yes, what you say is true,
45:47 but our King rejoices over one person that comes to Him,
45:52 our whole universe has wondered that God's amazing love
45:58 of giving His only Son for a world
46:02 who does not care.
46:05 But look, there goes Anna, the shepherd's daughter,
46:10 and the poor beggar man going to worship baby Jesus,
46:15 our King and their King.
46:18 Let us sing His praises.
46:21 for He is King of kings and Lord of all.
46:26 "For God so loved the world
46:28 that He gave His only begotten Son
46:30 that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish
46:34 but have everlasting life."
46:36 I'm so glad that God gave His only Son, aren't you?
46:40 How sad to think that so many people
46:42 didn't care that the Messiah had been born.
46:45 Oh, how it must have made the angels cry.
46:48 I wish everyone had been excited about Christ's birth
46:51 and had given glory to God.
46:54 Well, I know one little girl
46:55 who does love to give glory to God
46:58 and her name is Yasmine
46:59 and she's one of our Kids Time singers
47:01 and she also sings quite often for Praise Time.
47:04 She's going to sing a song for us now
47:06 called "Glory to God."
47:20 Glory, Glory, Glory to God
47:24 Glory in the highest
47:28 Glory, Glory, Glory to God Glory in the highest
47:35 And peace on earth, good will to men
47:39 Peace on earth
47:42 And peace on earth, good will to men
47:47 Peace on earth, the Savior is born
47:54 Glory, Glory, Glory to God Glory in the highest
48:01 Glory, Glory, Glory to God Glory in the highest
48:09 And peace on earth, good will to men
48:13 Peace on earth
48:16 And peace on earth, good will to men
48:21 Peace on earth, the Savior is born
48:31 The Savior is born
48:39 Thank you, Yasmine.
48:40 Well, you know what, boys and girls,
48:42 it's sharing time,
48:44 and I would like to have all the boys and girls
48:46 come here up right now
48:47 and is there anyone of you that love to share Jesus.
48:50 Why don't you come right up?
48:52 And I know Kaitlyn does, come right over here,
48:54 and come on boys and girls, right around here.
48:56 And then some can come over here, all right.
48:59 And I think, I thank you,
49:01 and the Yasmine's got a microphone.
49:02 Can I have you come all the way over here,
49:04 so you can face the cameras, let's do that, okay?
49:07 Can you come right over and I think
49:08 there's some room over here, there we go.
49:10 Isn't this the wonderful bunch of kids up here?
49:13 And they love Jesus, don't you boys and girls?
49:16 Who do I have right here? Veronica.
49:18 And Veronica, how old are you?

49:34 And what's your name? Andrew.
49:36 Andrew, what do you do to share Jesus?

49:40 that Saturday is the holy day,
49:42 she thinks Sunday is the holy day.
49:45 And I keep telling him that Saturday is the holy day.
49:48 What did she say to you when you say that?
49:52 I don't know, I forget.
49:54 Well, you know, what you just keep praying for grandma, okay.
49:57 And who do I have over here? Christina.
50:00 Christina, what do you do share Jesus?
50:03 I share my toys with others.

50:41 Oh, don't you love it
50:43 when boys and girls say they love Jesus?
50:45 What do you do to share Jesus?
50:46 Sometimes my friends ask me why I go to church on Saturday,
50:50 and why you don't eat pork?
50:52 And I tell them, Jesus says not to eat pork
50:54 and the seventh day is the Lord's day.
50:59 That's right, isn't it?
51:00 And you know what, it's takes a lot of courage
51:02 to tell someone that, doesn't it?
51:03 Yeah. Well, thank you so much.
51:05 What is your name? Jordan.
51:06 Jordan, can you look right out there at the cameras.

51:11 And what do you do to share Jesus?
51:13 Once I went on a Bible study
51:15 and I realized the person I was studying with
51:18 didn't have a Bible so I let her use my Bible
51:21 and realized that she liked it, so I gave it to her.
51:24 Oh, wasn't that a good thing?

51:34 What grade are you in? Fifth.
51:35 You're in fifth grade. What do you do to share Jesus?
51:37 I think I share Jesus by...
51:40 because our program is to say yes to life and no to drugs,
51:44 and I think that helps people
51:47 make better decisions and follow Christ.
51:49 That's right, is drugs the good thing, boys and girls?
51:52 No. No, it's not.
51:54 Let me have you just step right over here,
51:56 if you would if you've talked
51:57 and I want you to step forward over here.
51:59 And tell me... Well, I have him go to, okay.

52:13 we a friend that doesn't know Jesus,
52:17 and we tell her about him.
52:18 And you do, that's a good.
52:20 And what does she say, what do you tell her?
52:23 That we go to church on Sabbath.
52:28 You tell that you go to church,
52:29 so you tell that seventh day is the Sabbath?
52:31 That's good.
52:33 Okay, what is your name? Sophie.
52:35 Sophie, why don't you come right over here by me?
52:38 Okay.

52:43 And what do you do to share Jesus?
52:46 I sing to grandma
52:48 some of the songs that I learned in the school.
52:52 And what songs are those?
52:55 There are songs that we sing at the Christmas program,
52:58 there's lots of them.
53:00 We sing Go Tell It On The Mountain,
53:05 The First Noel and...
53:09 Tell us, Go Tell It On The Mountain,
53:10 you want to sing a line of that for us.
53:12 How does that go?
53:13 Go tell it on the mountain over the hills and everywhere
53:19 Go tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born
53:24 Thank you, wasn't that on the spot?
53:25 That's why I tell you what, that was wonderful, wasn't it?
53:27 Thank you so much.
53:29 Let's see, what do you do to share Jesus

53:40 and I like to ride with some of them,
53:42 and I share Jesus by telling them that we go to church
53:45 on Saturday and stuff like that.
53:47 So a lot of people share Jesus
53:49 by telling about the Sabbath, don't they?
53:51 And I notice that lot of them like
53:53 to witness at Grandma's house, don't they?
53:55 Come on over here, and what is your name?

54:16 so that two ladies can run that.
54:19 And so that you can teach people how to eat healthy?
54:21 Yup.
54:22 That's good, I love to eat healthy, don't you?
54:23 Because you know what,
54:25 our bodies are the temples of God,
54:26 aren't they boys and girls?
54:28 And we need to make sure everything going in our bodies
54:29 is something that Jesus wants us to put there, right?

54:46 I sell spider plants to fix up a camp in New York
54:52 so that kids can go there and learn more about Jesus
54:54 and have fun at the same time.
54:56 Oh, that's good, can I have you stand right over there,
54:59 so that we can get a good shot of our,
55:01 right over here, let's see.
55:03 What's your name? Noelle.
55:05 Noelle, I want you to turn right over here,
55:06 so the camera can see you and I'm gonna have you
55:08 just get back right over here.

55:37 And you're gonna help out there?
55:39 Wonderful.
55:40 What is your name? Boxie.
55:43 Okay, well, you know what, boys and girls,
