Hey, everyone. It's me, Rich Aguilera. 00:01:38.73\00:01:41.16 I'm so happy to see you. 00:01:41.20\00:01:42.90 You know me, 00:01:42.93\00:01:44.27 I'm taking pictures of some of God's amazing nature. 00:01:44.30\00:01:47.80 It's everywhere. 00:01:47.84\00:01:49.70 Well, I'm glad you're with me here today 00:01:49.74\00:01:51.41 because I want to talk to you about 00:01:51.44\00:01:53.34 one of the most feared animals in the world. 00:01:53.38\00:01:56.64 Sharks! 00:01:56.68\00:01:59.01 A lot of people are afraid of sharks 00:01:59.05\00:02:01.52 simply because they don't know a lot about them. 00:02:01.55\00:02:03.72 You know, it is very human to fear things 00:02:09.72\00:02:12.36 that we don't understand. 00:02:12.39\00:02:13.96 So that's why today, 00:02:14.00\00:02:15.50 our goal is gonna be to learn about sharks. 00:02:15.53\00:02:19.47 What are we gonna learn about? 00:02:19.50\00:02:20.84 Sharks. Sharks. 00:02:20.87\00:02:22.20 That's right. Sharks. 00:02:22.24\00:02:24.71 Sharks are fish, so they live in there. 00:02:24.74\00:02:29.84 There are over 400 different kinds of sharks out there, 00:02:29.88\00:02:33.78 different sizes, different appearances, 00:02:33.82\00:02:35.72 and different behaviors. 00:02:35.75\00:02:37.09 You know, a lot of people mistakenly think 00:02:39.65\00:02:42.32 that all sharks like to just bite people. 00:02:42.36\00:02:45.29 But really, there are only a few kinds 00:02:45.33\00:02:47.53 that ever attack humans. 00:02:47.56\00:02:50.27 The great majority of sharks have no interest in you. 00:02:50.30\00:02:53.84 Phew! That's good. 00:02:53.87\00:02:56.77 The majority of the bites come from great white tiger 00:02:56.81\00:03:00.21 and bull sharks. 00:03:00.24\00:03:01.58 That's it. 00:03:01.61\00:03:02.94 And when they do bite, it's because they thought 00:03:02.98\00:03:04.98 you were something else, like a seal or a turtle. 00:03:05.01\00:03:08.78 It's not like they're wandering around, 00:03:08.82\00:03:10.92 looking for people. 00:03:10.95\00:03:12.39 No. 00:03:12.42\00:03:14.12 Hey, in order to learn a little bit more about sharks, 00:03:14.16\00:03:17.36 we're gonna have to go and see them. 00:03:17.39\00:03:19.03 Come on. 00:03:19.06\00:03:20.40 Well, the best place to see sharks 00:03:22.93\00:03:24.50 is in their natural habitat. 00:03:24.53\00:03:26.67 A habitat is where creatures live 00:03:26.70\00:03:28.90 and sharks live in the ocean. 00:03:28.94\00:03:31.47 What is the name of the place where they live in? 00:03:31.51\00:03:33.51 Habitat. Habitat. 00:03:33.54\00:03:35.08 That's right, their habitat. 00:03:35.11\00:03:38.08 Our plan today is to go 00:03:38.11\00:03:39.95 visit some sharks in their habitat, the ocean. 00:03:39.98\00:03:43.59 So the plan is we're gonna take a boat 00:03:43.62\00:03:45.42 and go about three miles out into the ocean to a place 00:03:45.45\00:03:48.62 where the sharks hang out. 00:03:48.66\00:03:49.99 First, our guides take us way out 00:03:58.60\00:04:01.14 into the ocean on the boat. 00:04:01.17\00:04:03.41 As soon as we get there, we can already see 00:04:03.44\00:04:05.71 the sharks in the water, circling the boat. 00:04:05.74\00:04:08.28 A strong cage is then put in the water. 00:04:15.12\00:04:18.05 The idea is that I'll be getting inside that cage 00:04:18.09\00:04:21.39 so I can get as close as possible 00:04:21.42\00:04:23.43 to the sharks in their habitat. 00:04:23.46\00:04:25.63 Sharks are fascinating animals. 00:04:29.03\00:04:31.60 They are fish, but they are a little different 00:04:31.63\00:04:34.34 than most fish though because instead of a bony skeleton, 00:04:34.37\00:04:38.47 their bodies are supported by cartilage. 00:04:38.51\00:04:41.54 What's it supported by? 00:04:41.58\00:04:43.04 Cartilage. Cartilage. 00:04:43.08\00:04:44.41 Yeah, cartilage. 00:04:44.45\00:04:45.78 That's the same stuff that supports your nose. 00:04:45.81\00:04:48.82 One of the hard things that they do have 00:04:48.85\00:04:50.79 in their body is probably their most famous feature, 00:04:50.82\00:04:54.12 their teeth. 00:04:54.16\00:04:55.76 Sharks usually have several rows 00:04:55.79\00:04:57.73 of very sharp teeth. 00:04:57.76\00:04:59.76 The bizarre thing is that their teeth are not like ours 00:04:59.79\00:05:02.56 which are embedded in bone. 00:05:02.60\00:05:05.13 Theirs are embedded in their gums, 00:05:05.17\00:05:07.80 which is why their teeth fall out easily. 00:05:07.84\00:05:10.77 That's why sharks are always 00:05:10.81\00:05:12.54 in the process of growing new teeth. 00:05:12.57\00:05:15.41 Because of that, some sharks can go through 00:05:15.44\00:05:17.85 up to 30,000 teeth in a lifetime. 00:05:17.88\00:05:21.25 How many teeth? 00:05:21.28\00:05:22.62 30,000. 30,000. 00:05:22.65\00:05:23.99 Yeah, 30,000. 00:05:24.02\00:05:26.19 That's a lot of teeth. 00:05:26.22\00:05:29.62 Most sharks have eight fins, but even with so many fins 00:05:29.66\00:05:33.80 they do not have the ability to back up like other fish 00:05:33.83\00:05:37.87 and they only go forward. 00:05:37.90\00:05:40.04 That's pretty much the most important thing anyway 00:05:40.07\00:05:42.74 because they constantly need 00:05:42.77\00:05:44.24 water flowing through their gills. 00:05:44.27\00:05:46.44 Otherwise, they wouldn't get enough oxygen to survive. 00:05:46.47\00:05:49.91 Well, I hope you look at sharks a little bit differently 00:06:06.09\00:06:09.40 now that we know a little bit more about them. 00:06:09.43\00:06:11.40 You know, taking pictures reminds me of all the stuff 00:06:14.64\00:06:17.24 that we learned today. 00:06:17.27\00:06:18.61 If you want to see the pictures, you can. 00:06:18.64\00:06:20.58 Just go to our website at KidsTime4Jesus.org 00:06:20.61\00:06:24.35 and click on Nature Time. 00:06:24.38\00:06:26.45 Well, I'm already looking forward 00:06:26.48\00:06:28.22 to seeing you next time. 00:06:28.25\00:06:29.68 Remember, God is the creator, nature is His masterpiece. 00:06:29.72\00:06:34.46 See you. 00:06:34.49\00:06:35.82 Welcome to Learning Time. 00:06:41.06\00:06:42.40 Today, we are at the 00:06:42.43\00:06:44.07 International Pathfinder Camporee. 00:06:44.10\00:06:46.53 In what state, y'all? 00:06:46.57\00:06:48.00 Wisconsin! Waycross, Georgia. 00:07:17.37\00:07:18.70 Man, you're from all over the place. 00:07:18.73\00:07:20.07 And we're here with about 45,000 pathfinders. 00:07:20.10\00:07:23.04 Are you having a good time? 00:07:23.07\00:07:24.41 Yeah! 00:07:24.44\00:07:26.37 Well, today we're gonna do some science right here 00:07:26.41\00:07:28.51 and we're gonna be doing the science of throwing. 00:07:28.54\00:07:30.75 You like to throw things? 00:07:30.78\00:07:32.11 Yeah. Well, here, grab a ball. 00:07:32.15\00:07:33.72 I've got some helpers. 00:07:33.75\00:07:35.08 What we're gonna do is we're gonna throw a tennis ball. 00:07:35.12\00:07:36.72 And then when we throw a tennis ball, 00:07:36.75\00:07:38.15 we use our arms and that's a lever. 00:07:38.19\00:07:39.92 And that's a really good thing 00:07:39.95\00:07:41.29 to have levers on our bodies, right? 00:07:41.32\00:07:42.86 Yeah. Cool. 00:07:42.89\00:07:44.23 So what we're gonna do is we're gonna have them throw. 00:07:44.26\00:07:45.73 And you might want to do this at home 00:07:45.76\00:07:47.10 and this would be really cool. 00:07:47.13\00:07:48.46 But we're gonna try to see how far 00:07:48.50\00:07:49.83 they can throw the tennis ball. 00:07:49.86\00:07:51.20 And then we have five helpers. 00:07:51.23\00:07:52.97 Raise your hand. Where's our helpers? 00:07:53.00\00:07:54.34 So you've got these cones right here. 00:07:54.37\00:07:55.70 They're gonna measure. 00:07:55.74\00:07:57.07 They're gonna mark where you throw the ball, 00:07:57.11\00:07:59.64 okay, and how far it goes. 00:07:59.67\00:08:01.01 And then we're gonna have you do it a little bit differently 00:08:01.04\00:08:03.08 and that's gonna be cool for the science part. 00:08:03.11\00:08:05.11 So, hey, let's go ahead and separate over here. 00:08:05.15\00:08:07.45 Let's give them a nice area so they can throw 00:08:07.48\00:08:09.58 all the way down there. 00:08:09.62\00:08:10.95 Are you ready? 00:08:10.99\00:08:12.42 Okay, all right, spread out a little bit. 00:08:12.45\00:08:13.86 Okay, all right. 00:08:13.89\00:08:15.22 Make sure you're not in front of anybody. 00:08:15.26\00:08:16.59 All right, all right. Here we go. 00:08:16.62\00:08:17.96 And let's give them a countdown. 00:08:17.99\00:08:19.33 Three, two, one, let's go. 00:08:19.36\00:08:20.70 Three, two, one, 00:08:20.73\00:08:22.16 and throw that ball way down there. 00:08:22.20\00:08:25.10 Okay, our markers are gonna mark it. 00:08:25.13\00:08:26.53 Whoa, look at how far that one went down there. 00:08:26.57\00:08:29.60 Okay, they're gonna mark our tennis balls 00:08:29.64\00:08:31.44 to figure out how far they went. 00:08:31.47\00:08:32.81 Okay, now turn around over here. 00:08:32.84\00:08:34.18 Let's see what we got. 00:08:34.21\00:08:35.54 Now have you ever wanted to throw 00:08:35.58\00:08:36.91 even farther than that? 00:08:36.95\00:08:38.28 Yeah. Yeah. 00:08:38.31\00:08:39.65 Well, you know what we can do? 00:08:39.68\00:08:41.02 We can use the science of an ancient device. 00:08:41.05\00:08:42.58 It's called an atlatl. 00:08:42.62\00:08:44.25 And atlatl was used by people a long time ago 00:08:44.29\00:08:47.12 for hunting sometimes, and it gave them better skill, 00:08:47.16\00:08:49.89 and it made them throw things better. 00:08:49.92\00:08:51.46 So here's what we got. 00:08:51.49\00:08:52.83 I've got one of these right here for you. 00:08:52.86\00:08:54.53 So here we go. Go ahead and grab one of those. 00:08:54.56\00:08:56.87 There we go. 00:08:56.90\00:08:58.23 We're gonna use the arms in the same way, 00:08:58.27\00:09:00.77 but now it's gonna make your arm a lot longer 00:09:00.80\00:09:03.14 and the ball ought to do what? 00:09:03.17\00:09:04.61 Go farther. 00:09:04.64\00:09:06.14 It ought to go all out further and that should be really cool. 00:09:06.17\00:09:08.81 All right, are we ready? Okay. 00:09:08.84\00:09:10.85 Okay, spread out right over here. 00:09:10.88\00:09:12.45 And are you ready down there? 00:09:12.48\00:09:14.92 Let's give them a countdown to see if we can go farther. 00:09:14.95\00:09:17.35 Three, two, one, 00:09:17.39\00:09:20.12 and get that thing going right over there. 00:09:20.16\00:09:23.73 Whoa, look how far that one went. 00:09:23.76\00:09:25.86 So far that one went. Whoa. 00:09:25.89\00:09:28.80 Hey, and, you know what, 00:09:28.83\00:09:30.17 most of them went further than the first time. 00:09:30.20\00:09:32.53 Hey, come on back over here. Come on back over here. 00:09:32.57\00:09:34.80 Did you see how far that thing went, those balls went? 00:09:34.84\00:09:38.34 And why did it go farther? 00:09:38.37\00:09:40.01 It went farther because what happened to their arm? 00:09:40.04\00:09:45.78 It really lengthened their arm, 00:09:45.81\00:09:47.68 instead of being an arm this long 00:09:47.72\00:09:49.65 and now it's from here to there. 00:09:49.68\00:09:51.32 And we have a very, very long lever. 00:09:51.35\00:09:53.82 Isn't that cool? 00:09:53.86\00:09:55.76 You know, that reminds me, boys and girls, 00:09:55.79\00:09:57.63 because, you know, sometimes 00:09:57.66\00:09:59.49 if we want things to be different, 00:09:59.53\00:10:02.00 we have to ask, right? 00:10:02.03\00:10:03.57 Yeah! I think so too. 00:10:03.60\00:10:05.20 And so if they asked for this the first time, 00:10:05.23\00:10:07.10 it could've been thrown really, really far. 00:10:07.14\00:10:10.61 And that reminds me of a text in the Bible 00:10:10.64\00:10:12.51 and it's from Matthew, Matthew 7:7. 00:10:12.54\00:10:15.28 says that, it says, 00:10:15.31\00:10:18.95 "Ask and you shall," what? 00:10:18.98\00:10:20.85 Receive. "Receive." 00:10:20.88\00:10:22.22 Because sometimes we don't ask God, 00:10:22.25\00:10:23.95 we don't ask Jesus for help 00:10:23.99\00:10:25.99 and He wants to help us all the time. 00:10:26.02\00:10:28.06 Isn't that cool? 00:10:28.09\00:10:29.42 Yeah. I think so too. 00:10:29.46\00:10:31.16 Remember, when we learn more about science, 00:10:31.19\00:10:33.56 we learn more about our creator, God. 00:10:33.60\00:10:37.20 Mm, these cookies smell delicious, 00:10:45.14\00:10:47.88 and they're my favorite. 00:10:47.91\00:10:50.05 They sure do smell delicious. 00:10:50.08\00:10:52.15 Oh, they look amazing. 00:10:52.18\00:10:54.42 I think I'm gonna eat one, like, right now. 00:10:54.45\00:10:56.72 No, Miss Brenda told us not to eat any before dinner. 00:10:56.75\00:11:01.96 Oh, she won't mind 00:11:01.99\00:11:03.79 if there's just, like, a few missing. 00:11:03.83\00:11:06.43 Hi, kids. 00:11:10.07\00:11:11.90 Hi, Miss Brenda. 00:11:11.93\00:11:14.37 We were just talking about 00:11:14.40\00:11:17.74 how much we were looking forward to dinner. 00:11:17.77\00:11:21.28 Oh, really now? That's not what I heard. 00:11:21.31\00:11:26.11 You know, kids, I realized that 00:11:26.15\00:11:27.68 sometimes self-control isn't always easy, is it? 00:11:27.72\00:11:31.05 Would you like to hear a story? 00:11:31.09\00:11:32.65 Ooh! We love stories. 00:11:32.69\00:11:35.69 Well, I'd like to tell you a story about a man 00:11:35.72\00:11:37.79 who had trouble with self-control. 00:11:37.83\00:11:39.69 And his name was Samson. 00:11:39.73\00:11:44.50 You know, the family of Manoah lived near the hill country 00:11:44.53\00:11:47.37 overlooking the Philistine plain. 00:11:47.40\00:11:49.64 And one night, an angel of God appeared to Manoah's wife, 00:11:49.67\00:11:53.38 bearing a message of a son. 00:11:53.41\00:11:55.64 When she shared the message with her husband, 00:11:55.68\00:11:57.55 he prayed that the angel would come again. 00:11:57.58\00:12:01.88 There, just as I told you, 00:12:01.92\00:12:03.59 the angel of God has appeared again. 00:12:03.62\00:12:05.92 God has answered your prayer. 00:12:05.95\00:12:07.72 Let him repeat the message to you. 00:12:07.76\00:12:12.06 Are you the man who spoke to this woman? 00:12:12.09\00:12:17.27 I am. 00:12:17.30\00:12:18.70 Let your words come to pass. 00:12:18.73\00:12:21.80 What will be the boy's rule of life and his work? 00:12:21.84\00:12:27.64 Indeed. 00:12:27.68\00:12:29.01 You will both be blessed with a son. 00:12:29.04\00:12:32.08 He will be stronger than any other, 00:12:32.11\00:12:35.82 a Nazirite from birth that will begin 00:12:35.85\00:12:38.79 the deliverance of Israel. 00:12:38.82\00:12:41.82 While a child, you shall have no drink of the wine, 00:12:41.86\00:12:45.79 nor other strong drink. 00:12:45.83\00:12:47.96 You shall eat nothing that is considered unclean, 00:12:48.00\00:12:51.80 and also the same shall be for the child. 00:12:51.83\00:12:55.70 He is to be denied strong drink and unclean meals, 00:12:55.74\00:13:00.08 but most importantly, 00:13:00.11\00:13:01.68 let no razor come to touch his hair. 00:13:01.71\00:13:05.11 This is the will of God. 00:13:05.15\00:13:09.52 Yes, this shall be done, 00:13:09.55\00:13:11.95 and we shall raise this child 00:13:11.99\00:13:15.82 as you have instructed. 00:13:15.86\00:13:21.06 Samson's parents did exactly as the angel instructed them. 00:13:21.10\00:13:24.83 And Samson grew up to be a very strong man. 00:13:24.87\00:13:28.94 His strength was so impressive 00:13:28.97\00:13:31.11 that he attracted a lot of attention. 00:13:31.14\00:13:36.04 Wow. 00:13:36.08\00:13:37.41 Oh, Samson, you are so strong. 00:13:40.22\00:13:44.05 I know. Let me show you. 00:13:44.09\00:13:46.55 Ow! Ow! Ow! 00:13:46.59\00:13:50.16 But Samson did not use his strength with grace. 00:13:50.19\00:13:53.83 And in spite of what God had planned for Samson, 00:13:53.86\00:13:57.07 he fell in with the wrong crowd. 00:13:57.10\00:13:59.67 He became friends with the Philistines 00:13:59.70\00:14:02.10 and they were enemies of the Israelites. 00:14:02.14\00:14:05.41 Against his parent's wishes, he married a Philistine woman. 00:14:05.44\00:14:09.51 Of course, it ended badly and Samson took his anger out 00:14:09.54\00:14:13.65 on her people by burning up their fields, 00:14:13.68\00:14:16.52 destroying their vineyards, and killing 3,000 Philistines 00:14:16.55\00:14:21.59 with the jawbone of a donkey. 00:14:21.62\00:14:24.33 After his victory, the Israelites were inspired. 00:14:24.36\00:14:27.76 They fought for their freedom 00:14:27.80\00:14:29.26 and they rewarded Samson by making him a judge. 00:14:29.30\00:14:33.90 But he hadn't quite learned his lesson yet. 00:14:33.94\00:14:37.84 So what did he do? 00:14:37.87\00:14:39.44 Well, that's a good question, Kylie. 00:14:39.47\00:14:41.48 Do you know Samson placed too much trust 00:14:41.51\00:14:43.75 in his own physical strength and forgot where his problems 00:14:43.78\00:14:47.58 had come from in the first place? 00:14:47.62\00:14:49.42 Eventually, Samson found himself 00:14:49.45\00:14:52.05 taken by the beauty of another woman. 00:14:52.09\00:14:54.99 And her name was Delilah. 00:14:55.02\00:14:57.83 Ooh! Ooh! 00:14:57.86\00:14:59.46 Delilah, listen, you're being paid 00:15:05.93\00:15:11.24 to find the source of Samson's strength. 00:15:11.27\00:15:14.51 Now what's taking so long? 00:15:14.54\00:15:16.38 I just need a little more time. 00:15:16.41\00:15:18.55 Now go with haste before he returns. 00:15:18.58\00:15:21.52 We'll go, but you better find out that secret. 00:15:21.55\00:15:26.05 Samson, welcome home, my dear. 00:15:39.13\00:15:42.54 Oh, it's so good to see you. 00:15:42.57\00:15:44.81 Delilah, you grow more beautiful 00:15:44.84\00:15:47.41 with each passing second. 00:15:47.44\00:15:49.91 You claim to love me. 00:15:49.94\00:15:51.28 Is that right, my dear? 00:15:51.31\00:15:53.45 Yes. 00:15:53.48\00:15:54.82 Well, since you love me so much, 00:15:54.85\00:15:56.92 you would never keep anything from me. 00:15:56.95\00:15:58.39 Would you? 00:15:58.42\00:16:00.46 Of course, not. 00:16:00.49\00:16:02.72 Well, then tell me this, 00:16:02.76\00:16:04.66 what is the source of your strength? 00:16:04.69\00:16:06.80 Is there anything capable of weakening you? 00:16:06.83\00:16:09.76 Please don't lie to me again. 00:16:09.80\00:16:11.40 First, it was fresh bowstrings 00:16:11.43\00:16:13.40 and when I tied your hands with them, 00:16:13.44\00:16:15.27 you broke them like they were straw. 00:16:15.30\00:16:17.61 And then you lied again and said that 00:16:17.64\00:16:19.21 new rope would take away your strength, 00:16:19.24\00:16:20.74 but no, you broke those as easily as the bow strings. 00:16:20.78\00:16:24.61 And the last time I asked, and we sat all that time, 00:16:24.65\00:16:28.18 weaving your seven braids into the loom, 00:16:28.22\00:16:30.79 and when you woke up, 00:16:30.82\00:16:32.15 you not only freed yourself from the loom, 00:16:32.19\00:16:34.52 but I had to buy a new one. 00:16:34.56\00:16:36.59 Now stop lying to me. 00:16:36.62\00:16:39.33 If you truly love me, 00:16:39.36\00:16:41.06 you'd stop making such a fool out of me. 00:16:41.10\00:16:44.57 Delilah, I'm sorry. 00:16:44.60\00:16:49.87 I will tell you the source of my strength, 00:16:49.90\00:16:54.54 but you must never tell anyone. 00:16:54.58\00:16:59.21 My hair has never been cut. 00:16:59.25\00:17:03.02 And if a razor were to cut off my hair, 00:17:03.05\00:17:05.92 I would lose my strength. 00:17:05.95\00:17:09.22 Your hair? Truly? 00:17:09.26\00:17:12.69 Let me get this straight. 00:17:12.73\00:17:14.86 If your hair is cut, 00:17:14.90\00:17:17.80 you'll be as weak as any other man? 00:17:17.83\00:17:21.04 Yes, Delilah. 00:17:21.07\00:17:23.10 This is my secret. 00:17:23.14\00:17:25.47 My hair must never be cut. 00:17:25.51\00:17:28.01 Samson doesn't seem very smart. 00:17:32.01\00:17:34.02 Did he really think he could trust Delilah? 00:17:34.05\00:17:36.28 Well, that's a good point, Ethan. 00:17:36.32\00:17:38.22 I just want to know if she cut his hair or not. 00:17:38.25\00:17:40.56 So did she? 00:17:40.59\00:17:42.12 Yes, she did. 00:17:42.16\00:17:43.73 She told the Philistines what Samson had said. 00:17:43.76\00:17:46.76 And the next time they came, 00:17:46.80\00:17:48.63 they shaved off his hair as soon as he fell asleep. 00:17:48.66\00:17:53.50 And so for the first time in his entire life, 00:17:53.54\00:17:57.44 Samson's hair was cut. 00:17:57.47\00:17:59.94 Without his strength, he was easily taken prisoner. 00:17:59.97\00:18:03.71 And then the Philistines paid Delilah for a job well done. 00:18:03.75\00:18:08.68 Oh, Samson, the Philistines are upon you. 00:18:11.79\00:18:16.09 To celebrate the victory over their long pursuit enemy, 00:18:33.27\00:18:36.98 the Philistine royalty threw a great feast 00:18:37.01\00:18:39.98 in the temple of their God, to which Delilah was invited. 00:18:40.02\00:18:44.19 After being captured, 00:18:44.22\00:18:46.05 Samson's eyes had been gouged out 00:18:46.09\00:18:48.42 and he had been thrown in prison. 00:18:48.46\00:18:50.66 But this celebration called for his presence, 00:18:50.69\00:18:54.13 a blind Samson was brought out of prison 00:18:54.16\00:18:57.27 and brought to the temple 00:18:57.30\00:18:58.87 to provide entertainment for the guests. 00:18:58.90\00:19:01.14 Attention, everyone! 00:19:01.17\00:19:03.87 Our God has delivered into our hands Samson, 00:19:03.91\00:19:09.48 our enemy. 00:19:09.51\00:19:11.28 Samson had been a prisoner for so long 00:19:32.07\00:19:34.97 that his hair had started to grow back 00:19:35.00\00:19:37.74 and with it, his strength. 00:19:37.77\00:19:40.28 Can you take me to the pillars? 00:19:40.31\00:19:41.64 I have no one to blame, but himself. 00:19:53.56\00:19:57.36 I was given a great gift and I turned away from God. 00:19:57.39\00:20:04.27 Father, You have not forgotten me. 00:20:04.30\00:20:08.64 I pray to You, give me strength, 00:20:11.31\00:20:16.24 just this once that I may destroy the Philistines, 00:20:16.28\00:20:21.62 even if I must die too. 00:20:21.65\00:20:24.62 It seems to me, like, 00:20:45.24\00:20:46.57 Samson was like the strongest man in the world. 00:20:46.61\00:20:49.51 But he was also very weak. 00:20:49.54\00:20:51.61 He made some really bad choices. 00:20:51.65\00:20:54.55 You're right, Kylie. 00:20:54.58\00:20:56.25 And you're right, Ethan, too. 00:20:56.28\00:20:57.65 But God wants us to make the right choices, doesn't He? 00:20:57.69\00:21:01.16 And He wants us to live long and happy lives. 00:21:01.19\00:21:03.96 And we can do that by following His plan 00:21:03.99\00:21:07.43 and trusting in Him 00:21:07.46\00:21:08.86 even when were tempted to go against His plan. 00:21:08.90\00:21:11.93 So remember, even when it's hard, 00:21:11.97\00:21:14.30 trust in God. 00:21:14.34\00:21:16.27 And do what you know to be right. 00:21:16.30\00:21:19.21 Well, kids, it's almost dinner time. 00:21:19.24\00:21:22.64 Well, we'll help you set the table for dinner. 00:21:22.68\00:21:25.11 And then we can have some your delicious cookies after dinner. 00:21:25.15\00:21:28.52 That's a good plan.
