Bermuda. 02:00 That's right Bermuda. 02:02 I have got a good idea, we need to get up high 02:04 so that we can get a good look around, 02:06 there is a light house just up the road, 02:08 we should go climb it, come on. 02:13 Light houses were originally built to keep ships safe. 02:18 Boy, someone had to climb all these steps everyday. 02:29 Wow! What a view. 02:35 I'm going to take a picture. 02:38 We are really in the middle of the ocean here. 02:41 The nearest continent is 600 miles that way 02:46 or is it that way? 02:52 Or is it... 02:55 Doesn't matter, we are in the middle of the ocean. 02:59 I want to take another picture. 03:04 Bermuda's nature includes marshes, woodlands, 03:07 cliffs and caves. 03:10 But the main thing to see here the reason a lot of people 03:14 come to Bermuda every year the one thing 03:17 this little tiny island has a ton of are the beaches. 03:22 Come on we got to go check them out. 03:30 You know, you can't rent a car in Bermuda, 03:32 so the best way to get around is on a scooter, come on. 03:56 No matter where you go in Bermuda, 03:58 you are always going to be really close to water. 04:01 The island is about 20 miles long 04:03 and only about a mile wide. 04:05 There is water everywhere. 04:08 Surprisingly there is even water in the caves, 04:11 let's check it out. 04:27 It's not as cold as I thought it would be. 04:29 But it sure is dark down here, 04:31 I hope I don't bump into anything. 04:36 Wow, what a beautiful beach. I'm going to take a picture. 04:43 Actually, I didn't come here to show you just the beach, 04:46 I want you to see what's in the water. 04:49 Come on. 04:53 I got my mask and my snorkel, let's get in. 05:02 The waters around Bermuda are filled with sea creatures. 05:05 There are enormous scores of fish 05:08 and even that shy ones that prefer to keep to themselves. 05:12 There is lots of different types of coral 05:15 and of course those cute little Sergeant majors. 05:22 Cool, here is a big old Parrot fish. 05:26 The reef in this area has a roadbed a ways of cool caves. 05:31 There are all sorts of snail and critters living here. 05:36 Smile. 05:38 There are also cliffs we can jump off of. 05:50 Hey, there is a honeycomb cowfish 05:53 and there is a flounder. 06:09 Bermuda is an amazing break 06:12 and we have seen some amazing nature too. 06:15 Of course all the pictures I take 06:17 help me remember all the cool stuff we saw. 06:20 Hey, you want to see my pictures? 06:21 You can, just go to our website 06:23 at kidstime4Jesus.org and click on Nature Time. 06:28 Remember, God is the creator, 06:31 nature is His master piece. 06:33 See you. 06:49 Lord prepare me, to be a sanctuary 06:57 Pure and holy 07:00 Tried and true 07:04 With thanksgiving I'll be a living 07:12 Sanctuary for you 07:19 Lord prepare me 07:23 To be a missionary 07:28 Pure and holy 07:32 Tried and true 07:36 With thanksgiving I'll be a living 07:44 Sanctuary for you 08:00 Hi, kids. Welcome to learning time. 08:03 Hey, I'm so glad you joined us today. 08:05 You know you might be-- 08:07 Oh, not might I think you all want to try this 08:09 because this just doesn't make sense 08:11 at first until you know the science. 08:14 But first, let's go ahead and introduce our helpers 08:17 and we have three right here, 08:19 can you tell us your name and where are you from? 08:21 My name is Amy and I'm from Gray, Tennessee. 08:23 I'm glad you are here Amy and you are? 08:26 I'm Melissa and I'm from Gray, Tennessee also. 08:29 Good, I'm glad you are too Melissa and you are? 08:32 My name is Dave Turner 08:33 and I'm from Whitwell, Tennessee. 08:35 I'm glad that Dave Turner is here. 08:37 Now, this is what you need to do, 08:38 now if you have a bottle it could be plastic 08:40 or glass if its glass you have to be very careful 08:43 because glass can break, right? 08:44 Yeah. 08:45 So get a bottle, now this is what we need, 08:47 we need our safety glasses because we are dealing 08:49 with some little objects 08:50 and they just might hit us in the eye, 08:52 we don't want that to happen. 08:53 Now we got some bottles right here as you can see, 08:55 there is one, tow, three, four bottles. 08:58 Now in front of you right here at bottle right here, 09:00 we have got this little object what is that? 09:02 Marshmallow. 09:04 It's a marshmallow, no we are not gonna eat 09:06 the marshmallow but what we are going to do? 09:08 I'm sorry, but what we are gonna do 09:09 is we are going to-- 09:10 I'm going to put this marshmallow 09:12 right at the mouth-- right there at the mouth 09:14 of the opening of the bottle. 09:16 Now, what I want you to do is I want you 09:18 to try to blow that inside the bottle. 09:21 How many of you think you can do it? 09:22 I do. 09:24 Okay, let's give her a three, two, one count down let's go. 09:27 Three, two, one. 09:30 Yeah, blow hard. Oh, did it go in? 09:34 No. No. 09:36 Where did it go? Out. 09:37 I went out. 09:38 Now that's a little strange is it? 09:41 All right, we got another one right here. 09:42 Now, this one right here we have a paper wad 09:45 or wad of paper, we call it a paper wad. 09:47 A paper wad that will work, okay, 09:49 so we are going to put this 09:50 right at the mouth of your bottle. 09:51 Are you ready? 09:53 Do you think she can do it? Yeah. 09:54 Give her a count down three, two, one let's go. 09:56 Three, two, one. 09:59 Oh, wow, what happened to it? 10:01 It fell out. 10:03 It went out, it didn't go in. 10:05 Okay, we have go another piece of popcorn 10:06 so Dave Tuner it's up to you give it a huff and blow. 10:11 Let's go count down, three, two, one and blow it. 10:15 It didn't go in. 10:17 Now, that's strange, is that strange? 10:19 Yes. 10:20 You would think that it will go right into the bottle, 10:22 wouldn't you think that? 10:23 Yes. 10:24 But you know what I have got a bottle right here, 10:26 now is this bottle empty or is it full? 10:28 Full. 10:29 It's full, what's it full off? Air. 10:31 It's full of air so if I should huff and puff 10:33 and try to blow air in there is already air in there 10:36 it can get any more air in. 10:39 Oh, man I can't get any water, 10:41 I can't get any air in there. 10:43 It won't work so that's what happening right here. 10:45 There is already air in there 10:47 and that makes it very difficult. 10:49 Now what happened I have got another one right here. 10:52 Do you think I can do it with my cut off bottle? 10:55 Yes. 10:57 You know what I took the bottom of the bottle off, 11:00 now is there-- is this full of air? 11:02 No. 11:04 No, say yes. Yes. 11:06 Yes, it's full of air. 11:07 Air is going in and out, in and out of course 11:10 air is going in and out. 11:11 So here we go, I'm going to go like this, 11:12 like this and with huff and puff but I tell you what, 11:14 Dave Tuner why don't you do mine. 11:16 Let's give Dave Tuner a count down 11:18 three, two, one, let's go. 11:19 Three, two, one and blow that. 11:22 Look at that. 11:23 Did it go in? 11:24 Yes. 11:25 It not only went in, it went out and it dropped 11:28 on to the floor right on Max. 11:30 I'm glad he is not hungry. 11:31 Interesting, cool. 11:33 Hey, how in the world did that work? 11:35 Oh, I tell you what, so when we put the object by the-- 11:38 by the lid right here by the-- 11:40 What is that? 11:42 The bottle, the neck of the bottle 11:44 there is already air inside, so when we blow, 11:46 real, real hard, that creates low air pressure 11:50 around the nozzle or the neck of the bottle 11:52 and so that causes a little air pressure around it 11:56 and that makes the inside higher pressure. 11:58 And higher pressure just pushes it right back, 12:02 right back out to you. 12:03 Isn't that cool? Yes. 12:05 That is really-- but you know 12:07 that's an interesting thing because you know what 12:09 this bottle and popcorn and the-- 12:12 What is that? Marshmallow. 12:14 That represents may be you and me. 12:17 You know what I don't want to get into the things 12:20 that the world is into. 12:22 You know, those people that cheat and lie 12:24 and they steal and they do all kinds of things 12:26 that wouldn't please God at all. 12:27 But you know what God gives us a barrier. 12:30 It's like the bottom of the bottle. 12:32 Because these bottoms made that object, 12:35 instead of going in, it went out. 12:38 Blow it now. 12:39 Blow it now, you want me to try okay. 12:45 But what happened? 12:46 The bottom of the bottle was not secure. 12:49 You know what if you and I are secure in Jesus. 12:52 You know what, we are not going to be affected, 12:53 we are not going to be taken in by all the things of the world. 12:57 Isn't that interesting? Yes. 12:59 Hey, you know, when we study about science 13:01 we learn more about our Creator God. 13:16 I'm pleased to welcome my family 13:19 to my personal table for this glorious feast. 13:23 Thank you, Pharaoh. Yes. 15:41 Oh, this is wonderful feast, 15:44 thank you for providing for this. 15:47 Now, Moses, 15:48 I desire to hear of your plan 15:50 to increase the work force of these Israelite slaves. 15:55 Pharaoh, I'm working on a plan now, 15:58 but tomorrow I'm going to let in the field 16:01 and study the slaves and a better way 16:04 to make your plans come about. 16:06 And I shall be anxious to hear your report 16:09 for I have every confidence in you, Moses. 16:12 You will not disappoint me. 16:14 I will not, Pharaoh, 16:15 it will be for you and for your honor. 16:19 Praise be to the gods. 16:26 Are you feeling better today? 16:28 Yes, a little, 16:29 but I sure hope I don't faint again today. 16:31 Me too. 16:34 So I see you back, 16:37 you are feeling better today, aren't you? 16:39 We're gonna let you work harder 16:41 and harder so as you and you 16:44 and everybody in there. 16:45 That's the last time you use this whip again. 16:47 What are you doing? 16:48 Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. 16:49 Again, never again. Let me go. 16:51 That's the prince of Egypt. 16:53 He look mad enough to kill him. 16:56 We better work harder they are gonna think we did it. 17:04 How can this be? 17:06 Two Hebrews are fighting this morning 17:09 and I asked why they were fighting, 17:12 they responded with they could kill us 17:13 like they kill the Egyptians but why? 17:16 They don't. 17:17 I know they don't Pharaoh knows, 17:19 they all know. 17:20 Moses, Moses, my Lord, 17:22 I'm so sorry to come to you like this 17:23 but there is rumors going around 17:26 that you have insulted the high priest 17:27 and even killed an Egyptian. 17:31 Pharaoh has ordered you to go see him immediately. 17:33 Leave me, leave. 17:34 But you don't understand. 17:35 Go. 17:42 What have I done? 17:46 What have I done? 17:50 God, help me. 18:02 It's time for Miss. Brenda's "Book of the Day" 18:05 and today's book is called "Donkey Cart Kids" 18:09 by Bobbie Montgomery. 18:11 And it's a story about a pioneer family 18:13 and a brave boy, very brave boy. 18:16 You won't want to miss "Donkey Cart Kids." 18:19 Well, I'm really happy today, boys and girls, 18:22 to introduce to you somebody very special to Miss Brenda, 18:25 he is here all the way from New Zealand 18:28 I want to welcome Yan to the program. 18:30 Thank you, Yan, for coming. You are welcome. 18:32 And I'm so excited. 18:33 When did you and Miss. Brenda first meet? 18:36 It was at the beginning of this year 18:38 at my baptism in New Zealand. 18:40 I was speaking at your church 18:41 in the Royal Oak Church in Auckland, New Zealand 18:46 and you were there and I was so impressed. 18:49 I was so, so really grateful I was able to speak 18:52 at your baptism but I was so impressed 18:54 because before your baptism your Pastor brought you up 18:58 to the front and let you speak to the congregation. 19:01 And I was, my heart was touched, 19:03 I had tears in my eyes, 19:04 I thought it was going to be hard for me 19:05 to get up and speak after this 19:06 because it really touched my heart. 19:09 You were just expressing your love for God. 19:11 And tell me what does Jesus mean to you 19:14 and what brought you 19:15 to this decision to be baptized. 19:17 Oh, Jesus means a lot to me 19:18 and that's why I wanted to be baptized 19:20 because Jesus is just so awesome-- 19:22 and God is love and just I really wanted to show 19:26 that publicly in front of everyone. 19:28 And tell me what has, what has God done for you? 19:31 What does-- How has he change your life? 19:35 Well, usually I'm not very good at speaking 19:37 to any number of people 19:39 and especially at the time of my baptism, 19:42 I was really shy, I really don't want to do that. 19:44 But God really helped me and now, 19:46 I'm happy to speak in front of any number of people. 19:49 You are not ashamed to witness for Jesus? 19:51 No. 19:52 And love to have in this conversation 19:55 we had a wonderful time visiting, last evening even 19:59 and I like what you told me about how you were before, 20:03 you really gave your heart to Jesus 20:04 because you always love Jesus, right? 20:06 Yeah, I really always loved him 20:09 but I never really had the passion to go out 20:12 and do anything for him I used to say, 20:14 I'm just 12 what can I do 20:17 and nothing I really wanted or could in my mind do for him. 20:21 You know that may be you are too young 20:23 to do anything. 20:24 But when you-- 20:26 When you really truly fell in love with Jesus, 20:28 it changed, didn't it? 20:30 It was that actually, 20:31 it's about love that actually made me want to get baptized. 20:34 I went to a conference in New Zealand 20:37 about that was entirely about love 20:39 and I was really impressed by everything 20:41 that they said there and that's really gave me 20:43 the courage to get baptized. 20:45 So what kind of conference was it? 20:47 It was the New Zealand version of GYC was the NZYC, 20:51 New Zealand Youth for Christ. 20:53 And so that is really just meant four young people? 20:57 Yeah. 20:58 And the message is there geared for young people 21:01 and would you encourage others of your age 21:03 to go to this conference, go to conference like this? 21:05 Absolutely, I was on the tech team 21:08 I had a lot of really great experience, 21:10 made a lot of new friends. 21:12 Just listening to all the Pastor speak 21:15 David Asscherick was there 21:16 I was very passionate about what he said, 21:19 I really enjoyed it. 21:20 So what have you-- have you any thoughts about, 21:23 what you can do to inspire others 21:25 to what to witness for Jesus? 21:27 Well, I've had a lot of ideas of how do this 21:30 and one of the main things that I have learned is that 21:34 when speaking to others about Jesus, 21:36 you don't want to sort of hit them over the head 21:38 with a Bible or something you want to be friendly, 21:41 kind and gentle and especially loving 21:43 so that you can sort of get the message through to them 21:48 but also let them decide so you are not forcing them up 21:50 any opinions on them. 21:52 Yes, I like what you shared with me. 21:54 Do you remember what I spoke about the day 21:56 I came to speak at your church? 21:57 Yes, you spoke about divine appointments. 21:59 And what is a divine appointment? 22:01 What did you gather from Miss.
