It's almost time for Kids Time. We're gonna be late. 00:00:01.98\00:00:04.19 It's time to share there's a world out there 00:00:04.22\00:00:08.07 looking for a friend like Jesus, 00:00:08.10\00:00:11.79 it's time to share there is a world out there. 00:00:11.82\00:00:16.26 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:16.29\00:00:19.96 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:19.99\00:00:24.16 Kids time, Kids time, Kids time. 00:00:24.19\00:00:31.03 Hi boys and girls, do you like to go shopping with 00:00:32.00\00:00:34.48 your mom or dad, I bet you do and isn't it fun to get 00:00:34.51\00:00:37.85 something new especially if you get a really, really 00:00:37.88\00:00:40.99 good bargain. I love to get bargains, don't you Max? 00:00:41.02\00:00:44.51 do you like bargains? He is not going to tell us. 00:00:44.54\00:00:47.48 But when I was a little girl, we didn't have much 00:00:47.51\00:00:50.13 money, but I do remember how much fun it was to go 00:00:50.16\00:00:53.15 downtown and I'd look at all those store windows 00:00:53.18\00:00:55.77 and see all those real pretty dresses and the fun 00:00:55.80\00:00:58.42 toys, and I would dream about how great it would be 00:00:58.45\00:01:02.34 if I just had enough money to buy all the things that 00:01:02.37\00:01:04.95 I wanted, even though I still don't have a lot of 00:01:04.98\00:01:08.00 money, I enjoy looking at all the beautiful things, 00:01:08.03\00:01:11.71 but there is one day of the week that I do not go 00:01:11.74\00:01:15.27 shopping, and tha is the Sabbath Day, 00:01:15.30\00:01:18.17 because God says that he doesn't want us to buy 00:01:18.20\00:01:21.08 and sell on his special day. He wants us to keep it 00:01:21.11\00:01:24.49 holy and to worship him. Now, we can't be looking at 00:01:24.52\00:01:27.89 all those things in the store and bargaining for 00:01:27.92\00:01:30.67 lowest prices, and still be worshiping God at the same 00:01:30.70\00:01:34.61 time, can we? Well, the Bible story today is about 00:01:34.64\00:01:38.14 people buying and selling on God's Sabbath. 00:01:38.17\00:01:41.14 But before you are going to here that story, 00:01:41.83\00:01:44.65 let's get ready for Nature Time. 00:01:44.68\00:01:48.23 Hi boys and girls, welcome to Nature Time. 00:01:54.26\00:01:56.64 You know we are here in beautiful Western Montana. 00:01:56.67\00:01:58.69 In fact I've got a group of young people here with me 00:01:58.72\00:02:00.66 right now, and I'd like to tell you a great story, 00:02:00.69\00:02:03.28 one that is real, it happened to Ranger Rod. 00:02:03.31\00:02:05.82 I live way up in the mountains of Montana 00:02:05.85\00:02:08.28 and one morning early in the spring I went off for 00:02:08.31\00:02:10.68 a hike. Now, one of the things I love to do is 00:02:10.71\00:02:12.71 I love to track animals. So, I got on this big fresh 00:02:12.74\00:02:15.38 grizzly track, and I'm tracking it in the snow 00:02:15.41\00:02:17.43 early in the spring, tracking this grizzly track. 00:02:17.46\00:02:19.97 This grizzly is moving on through the timber, 00:02:20.27\00:02:21.98 I'm being careful because I don't want to really 00:02:22.01\00:02:23.63 catch up with him; I just like to see him way off in 00:02:23.66\00:02:26.03 the distance. Well, I come upon this beautiful meadow 00:02:26.06\00:02:29.16 and I think to myself I bet that grizzly is out there 00:02:29.19\00:02:31.95 in the meadow, and so I get out my binoculars 00:02:31.98\00:02:34.05 and I look out in the meadow, 00:02:34.08\00:02:35.84 out in the middle of meadow I see that there is an elk 00:02:35.87\00:02:38.85 carcass, a predator like these beautiful wolves 00:02:38.88\00:02:41.81 we have here behind us, has killed an elk 00:02:41.84\00:02:44.60 and they have been eating on this out in the meadow. 00:02:44.63\00:02:47.26 And so I get really excited now the grizzly bear is 00:02:47.62\00:02:49.42 probably out there right. Sure, so I look all around 00:02:49.45\00:02:52.02 the meadow, I don't see him, there is some snow patches, 00:02:52.05\00:02:54.47 so I head out there. I want to get out in the middle 00:02:54.50\00:02:56.49 of the meadow where if I have to see this grizzly 00:02:56.52\00:02:58.61 bear I get some time to maybe get out my bear spray 00:02:58.64\00:03:01.32 or at least talk to him to make sure he knows that 00:03:01.35\00:03:03.64 I'm a human and give him a chance to back away. 00:03:03.67\00:03:06.56 I get out in the middle of the meadow, and I look 00:03:06.59\00:03:09.56 and I see what I think is a dead wolf. 00:03:09.59\00:03:12.19 I get upset, I love wolves they're beautiful, 00:03:12.68\00:03:14.88 and so I look at this wolf laying on the ground 00:03:14.91\00:03:17.06 flat out, just completely flat on the ground, 00:03:17.09\00:03:20.25 and I started to get a little upset. 00:03:20.28\00:03:22.14 Oh somebody has shot one of my wolves 00:03:22.17\00:03:24.95 and they live all around my house. I look around 00:03:24.98\00:03:28.14 and I see another dead wolf, I thought oh oh somebody 00:03:28.17\00:03:31.79 has put some poison on this elk carcass 00:03:31.82\00:03:34.64 and they've poisoned two of my wolves. 00:03:34.67\00:03:36.85 Then I look over to my side here and I see another one, 00:03:36.88\00:03:39.91 I counted them, there were eight dead wolves laying 00:03:40.35\00:03:43.70 all around me, I had walked right in there, 00:03:43.73\00:03:45.79 I've never seen them laying in the snow, 00:03:45.82\00:03:47.94 and I started to feel kind of bad, really bad, 00:03:47.97\00:03:50.34 somebody killed off my whole pack of wolves. 00:03:50.37\00:03:54.02 Then I noticed that one of them was still alive, 00:03:55.01\00:03:57.05 in fact he was kind of norm and chewing 00:03:57.08\00:03:59.42 and I looked at him through my binoculars 00:03:59.45\00:04:00.92 he wasn't very far away, and I could see 00:04:00.95\00:04:03.39 he was actually chewing on a bone. 00:04:03.74\00:04:06.26 I thought well there is nothing wrong with that 00:04:06.29\00:04:08.38 wolf, then I looked over with my binoculars at a wolf 00:04:08.41\00:04:11.59 right beside me and I could see that his chest was 00:04:11.62\00:04:14.38 starting to was moving up and down, up. 00:04:14.41\00:04:18.12 He was just sleeping, you see when wolves eat 00:04:18.66\00:04:21.22 they eat a whole lot all at one time, and they have 00:04:21.25\00:04:23.68 filled themselves all up and they have just decided to 00:04:23.71\00:04:26.24 take a nap. And Ranger Rod had walked right into the 00:04:26.27\00:04:29.31 middle of a whole pack of gray wolves, and they were 00:04:29.34\00:04:33.18 all around me, and I was thinking now what I am going 00:04:33.21\00:04:36.00 to do. Well I thought I had just back out of here real 00:04:36.03\00:04:38.65 slow and I won't disturb them but I noticed right 00:04:38.68\00:04:41.74 beside one of the wolves is two beautiful elk antler 00:04:41.77\00:04:46.16 sheds, some big bull had dropped his antlers there in 00:04:46.19\00:04:48.89 the meadow, and Ranger Rod loves antler sheds, 00:04:48.92\00:04:52.89 and that is the passion, I look for them all the time, 00:04:52.92\00:04:55.45 and here they are these two beautiful elk sheds 00:04:55.97\00:04:58.20 laying there. Well you know what I decided there is no 00:04:58.23\00:05:01.53 way I am leaving this meadow without those elk sheds 00:05:01.56\00:05:04.60 even if I got to take on that whole pack of timber of 00:05:04.63\00:05:07.64 gray wolves. Well so what I decided to do 00:05:08.04\00:05:11.90 was I'd wake him up, how do you wake up a sleeping wolf. 00:05:11.93\00:05:15.60 I don't know, I was trying to think of something too, 00:05:16.47\00:05:18.95 so I decided well I called my dogs by whistling to him, 00:05:18.98\00:05:21.92 so maybe I'll whistle at these wolves. 00:05:21.95\00:05:24.95 So I gave them a little whistle kind of this. 00:05:24.98\00:05:27.14 Instantly every wolf was up, I had all these 00:05:29.73\00:05:32.53 beautiful big golden eyes all looking at me, 00:05:32.56\00:05:36.26 and there was one over here, there was one here, 00:05:36.29\00:05:38.56 one here, a couple over there, and another one here. 00:05:38.90\00:05:41.21 I was surrounded by wolves. Well, a couple of them 00:05:41.24\00:05:44.36 right away just trotted off into the woods, 00:05:44.39\00:05:47.61 but one of them was pretty interested in me 00:05:47.64\00:05:50.17 and it looked like a female because she was kind of 00:05:50.20\00:05:52.59 slender and tall, and I thought kind of Mary here 00:05:52.62\00:05:55.93 and I thought well you know that one wants to be kind 00:05:55.96\00:05:58.92 of friendly. So, I kept an eye on her, the rest of 00:05:58.95\00:06:01.38 them went off into the timber, this one started 00:06:01.41\00:06:03.32 trying towards me but when she noticed that all the 00:06:03.35\00:06:06.12 rest were gone, she decided to leave too. 00:06:06.15\00:06:08.72 Of course I grabbed my antler sheds and tied them 00:06:08.75\00:06:11.10 on my pack and I headed almost quick as I could. 00:06:11.13\00:06:13.40 So that I could tell my lovely wife Marsha 00:06:13.43\00:06:15.13 what I have found, what I had seen, 00:06:15.16\00:06:17.13 it was a great experience, in fact one of the best of 00:06:17.16\00:06:19.05 my life, as far as getting out in the wild and seeing 00:06:19.08\00:06:21.96 these beautiful wolves. You know boys and girls, 00:06:21.99\00:06:24.76 the Bible says that someday wolves will be tamed; 00:06:25.06\00:06:28.42 we don't have worry about them or be a little nervous 00:06:28.45\00:06:30.37 if we come into a pack of them, in heaven we will be 00:06:30.40\00:06:32.67 able to pet them. Big grizzly bears, lions, 00:06:32.70\00:06:35.46 wolves, all these creatures that are here on this earth 00:06:35.49\00:06:38.15 we have to be a little bit careful of, 00:06:38.18\00:06:39.80 there they'll all be tamed and friendly. 00:06:39.83\00:06:41.86 I look forward to going there and spending time, 00:06:41.89\00:06:44.37 don't you? Yes. 00:06:44.40\00:06:45.95 Alright boys and girls until next time this is 00:06:45.98\00:06:49.21 Ranger Rod saying lets all enjoy God's great outdoors. 00:06:49.24\00:06:53.60 Don't run ahead of the Lord. Don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:07:10.25\00:07:14.56 Don't run ahead, don't run ahead of your angel. 00:07:14.59\00:07:19.35 Don't run ahead of the Lord. Don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:07:19.38\00:07:23.86 You're still to hear the voice of the Lord. 00:07:23.89\00:07:28.13 He would never lead you the wrong way, 00:07:28.16\00:07:33.06 The way to sorrow and death. 00:07:33.09\00:07:37.10 He will always lead you the right way, 00:07:37.13\00:07:42.04 The way of purpose in life. 00:07:42.07\00:07:45.55 So, don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:07:45.58\00:07:48.74 Don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:07:48.77\00:07:50.94 Don't run ahead, don't run ahead of your angel. 00:07:50.97\00:07:55.78 Don't run ahead of the Lord. Don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:07:55.81\00:08:00.02 You're still to hear the voice of the Lord. 00:08:00.05\00:08:04.33 He will lead you moment by moment. 00:08:04.36\00:08:09.25 In paths of conquests and joy. 00:08:09.28\00:08:13.31 So you cannot leave by your feelings, 00:08:13.34\00:08:18.17 Your only safety is in his word. 00:08:18.20\00:08:21.58 So, don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:08:21.61\00:08:24.75 Don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:08:24.78\00:08:27.08 Don't run ahead, run ahead of your angel. 00:08:27.11\00:08:31.83 Don't run ahead of the Lord. Don't run ahead of the Lord. 00:08:31.86\00:08:36.67 You're still to hear the voice of the Lord. 00:08:36.70\00:08:40.63 You're still to hear the voice of the Lord. 00:08:40.66\00:08:45.21 You're still to hear the voice of the Lord. 00:08:45.24\00:08:55.25 Welcome to learning time. 00:09:02.46\00:09:03.63 I'm glad you've joined us today, 00:09:03.66\00:09:05.16 and we've got a couple of balls up here. 00:09:05.19\00:09:07.45 Well, look at there they're different shapes and sizes, 00:09:07.48\00:09:09.65 you want to play ball? Yes. 00:09:09.68\00:09:12.51 Well, if they were going to play ball, 00:09:12.54\00:09:13.79 but we are going to have an interesting science 00:09:13.82\00:09:15.39 experiment. And I've got some helpers; I've got Roy 00:09:15.42\00:09:17.76 and Al over here. Now Roy and Al, do you would like to 00:09:17.79\00:09:19.93 play ball? Well, what do you like to play? Football. 00:09:19.96\00:09:22.61 Football, that's an interesting game isn't it, 00:09:22.64\00:09:24.54 I think so too, but I don't have a football up here 00:09:24.87\00:09:26.98 today, but maybe next time we will do something with a 00:09:27.01\00:09:29.01 football. And I've got Luke over here, now Luke you 00:09:29.04\00:09:33.42 have a favorite sport, don't you? Yes. 00:09:33.45\00:09:35.30 Now when you are just hanging out, 00:09:35.33\00:09:36.38 do you play sports when you hang out? 00:09:36.41\00:09:37.81 Sure, yeah. What do you do? Soccer. Soccer. 00:09:37.98\00:09:42.01 Wow, you're around a bunch of people that play 00:09:42.04\00:09:43.58 soccer huh. Well, I don't have a soccer ball up here 00:09:43.61\00:09:46.41 but that will be fun anyways, 00:09:46.44\00:09:47.75 and this is almost like a soccer ball, isn't it? Yeah. 00:09:47.78\00:09:50.38 Yeah, we have Elizabeth over here, 00:09:50.41\00:09:52.54 now Elizabeth you're from where? Canada. 00:09:52.57\00:09:55.32 Canada, they don't play ball in Canada, do they? No, yes. 00:09:55.35\00:09:58.37 What do they play mostly? Hockey. 00:09:58.80\00:10:00.65 They play a lot of hockey, don't they, 00:10:00.68\00:10:01.99 well come on up my helpers. 00:10:02.02\00:10:03.47 Let's come on up here, we've got some safety glasses, 00:10:03.50\00:10:05.68 why don't you put those safety glasses on, 00:10:05.71\00:10:07.29 because those balls just might hit us in the eye, 00:10:07.32\00:10:10.00 that's not a good idea, isn't it? I don't think so. 00:10:10.03\00:10:12.92 Here we go, here we go, you got those there, 00:10:13.38\00:10:14.84 we got some glasses right here. 00:10:14.87\00:10:16.11 Well, we do have a basketball right here, 00:10:16.14\00:10:18.05 and you know what we're going to do. 00:10:18.08\00:10:19.21 We are going to find out about these balls, 00:10:19.24\00:10:21.51 because these balls have energy in them. 00:10:21.54\00:10:23.22 They really, can you see the energy in these balls. 00:10:23.25\00:10:24.94 No. No, I can't either, but we are going to demonstrate 00:10:25.32\00:10:27.93 the energy in the balls. So why don't you come over 00:10:27.96\00:10:30.35 here Roy now why don't you come up front right here. 00:10:30.38\00:10:32.23 What we are going to do is we are going to have him 00:10:32.26\00:10:34.66 bounce this, but not bounce the ball, 00:10:34.69\00:10:36.07 but just drop the ball. So, why don't you hold it just 00:10:36.10\00:10:38.68 about like that. Alright now right now that ball has 00:10:38.71\00:10:41.43 some energy in it, can you see the energy? 00:10:41.46\00:10:43.21 No. It'd be fun if we could see the energy, 00:10:43.74\00:10:46.30 but we can't see potential energy, 00:10:46.33\00:10:48.54 that's the kind of energy it has right now. 00:10:48.57\00:10:50.64 So, it's this high right here and he is going to 00:10:50.67\00:10:53.72 drop it, and after he drops it, I am going to figure 00:10:53.75\00:10:55.36 out how high it bounced. Okay. Let's give him a 00:10:55.39\00:10:57.54 count. Okay, let's give him a count down, 00:10:57.57\00:10:59.77 so we'll know. Roy, are you ready. 00:10:59.80\00:11:01.55 Okay, he's all practiced up, how about a countdown, 00:11:01.58\00:11:03.81 five, four, three, two, one, drop it. Okay right there, 00:11:03.84\00:11:09.33 grab that ball back, okay grab that ball, 00:11:09.36\00:11:11.16 and it bounced this high, did you see 00:11:11.19\00:11:12.73 how high it bounced. Yes. 00:11:12.76\00:11:14.35 As soon as he let it go, it had energy that we call 00:11:14.38\00:11:17.61 kinetic energy. Okay, hey thank you. 00:11:17.64\00:11:19.69 Alright, let's get to our next ball up here. 00:11:19.72\00:11:21.81 Okay and okay go ahead and you can stand right here, 00:11:21.84\00:11:24.37 and I am going to put this ball back, 00:11:24.40\00:11:25.78 so it will be out of our way. Alright, are you ready 00:11:25.81\00:11:27.52 to drop that ball. Okay, it's this high that's how 00:11:27.55\00:11:30.11 high we are dropping both of these balls, 00:11:30.14\00:11:31.64 and we are going to find out if it has a lot of energy 00:11:31.67\00:11:34.19 in it too, I think it does. It's what kind of energy 00:11:34.22\00:11:36.48 right now? Potential energy. Potential energy. 00:11:36.51\00:11:38.86 Alright, are you ready, countdown five, four, three, 00:11:38.89\00:11:43.00 two, one, and gonna be dropped and it went this 00:11:43.03\00:11:46.03 high. Okay, right like that, so both balls 00:11:46.06\00:11:48.95 were not as high as when they started right. 00:11:48.98\00:11:51.45 Right. Because they've lost a little bit of that energy 00:11:51.48\00:11:54.64 or at least height. Hey Elizabeth, come on over 00:11:54.67\00:11:56.33 here, this is very interesting, and grab 00:11:56.36\00:11:58.04 that basketball. Now we're going to have Elizabeth 00:11:58.07\00:12:00.57 drop the ball from the same height approximately just 00:12:00.60\00:12:03.28 like this, okay. Alright now, but we're going to do 00:12:03.31\00:12:06.08 something different. Now I've got this little ball 00:12:06.11\00:12:08.82 and we're going to set it right on top just about 00:12:08.85\00:12:11.23 like that, you are going kind of have to balance 00:12:11.26\00:12:12.85 that. Both of those balls have what kind of energy? 00:12:12.88\00:12:15.69 Potential energy. Potential energy, 00:12:15.72\00:12:18.09 and when she drops them, they're going to have 00:12:18.12\00:12:19.44 kinetic energy, but you know when the ball drops 00:12:19.47\00:12:21.65 and it hits on the floor it compresses a little bit, 00:12:21.68\00:12:24.42 the bottom squishes out a little bit, gets flatter, 00:12:24.45\00:12:27.00 and then it compresses and then it expands back to the 00:12:27.03\00:12:30.73 same size. Well this time the basketball is going to 00:12:30.76\00:12:33.85 give this little tiny ball a tremendous amount of 00:12:33.88\00:12:37.24 energy, it may go flying through the roof is that 00:12:37.27\00:12:39.42 okay. Okay. 00:12:39.45\00:12:41.75 No, it won't go, but if it comes your way just give 00:12:41.78\00:12:43.75 it a, just catch it if you can. Alright, lets bounce, 00:12:43.78\00:12:46.01 I'm thinking same height. Okay, lets give her a 00:12:46.04\00:12:48.00 countdown five, four, three, two, one. 00:12:48.03\00:12:52.43 Wow, it almost hit me. Well, let's try that one 00:12:52.46\00:12:56.70 more time why you about took my head off. 00:12:56.73\00:12:58.86 It went zoom did you see that. Yes. 00:12:59.32\00:13:02.07 Thank you very much. Okay, let's try that again, 00:13:02.10\00:13:04.40 but it sure went high it went higher than my head. 00:13:04.43\00:13:06.51 Okay are you ready. Now don't aim at me, okay. 00:13:06.54\00:13:10.53 Here we go, same height another countdown five, 00:13:11.08\00:13:13.96 four, three, two, one. Wow. Wow. 00:13:13.99\00:13:19.12 All the way up there, and we about lost the flowers, 00:13:19.15\00:13:23.27 that is still bouncing, it's got a lot of energy. 00:13:23.30\00:13:25.92 You know that is extremely interesting because there 00:13:27.38\00:13:29.95 is a tremendous amount of energy when we took two of 00:13:29.98\00:13:33.05 those together and that's great. You know what, 00:13:33.08\00:13:35.37 you know when God made the universe, he made it with a 00:13:35.40\00:13:37.75 tremendous amount of energy, that energy is all 00:13:37.78\00:13:40.23 around us. Without that energy you and I wouldn't be 00:13:40.26\00:13:43.14 able to survive isn't that cool. Yes. 00:13:43.17\00:13:46.09 And I want to thank my helpers; you did a great job 00:13:46.12\00:13:48.00 with that today. And you know boys and girls 00:13:48.03\00:13:50.31 when we learned more about science, 00:13:50.34\00:13:52.74 we learned more about our creator and that's God. 00:13:52.77\00:13:59.01 Sir, sir, would you happen to be merchant here? 00:14:13.07\00:14:18.28 I am. Oh kind sir, do I have a deal for you. You do? 00:14:18.31\00:14:23.14 You see this beautiful piece of carpet. I see it. 00:14:23.17\00:14:26.09 Now, this is the last day of the week, so I tell you 00:14:26.12\00:14:28.58 what I'm going to do. A gem! 00:14:39.96\00:14:44.62 This is a precious gem. Sir, that may be precious 00:14:44.65\00:14:47.76 but I want you to take your hand and rub it over the. 00:14:47.79\00:14:50.40 I see, I see it's thick, and it's nice, 00:14:50.77\00:14:53.24 I like the design, but this is a precious gem. 00:14:53.27\00:14:56.04 Sir, look at the colors in this piece of carpet. 00:14:56.07\00:14:59.35 Alright, I'll tell you what I have a second one. 00:14:59.38\00:15:03.40 Now this one is even more precious than that one. 00:15:03.43\00:15:05.67 Sir, that's a nice offer, but it's almost an insult 00:15:05.70\00:15:09.61 when you're talking about a wonderful piece 00:15:09.64\00:15:11.38 of carpet like this. Alright then, 00:15:11.41\00:15:12.56 I have a goat over here, and this goat has cost me a lot. 00:15:12.59\00:15:16.73 Yes. Trade it. 00:15:22.73\00:15:24.62 You can trade that goat and. Why Timothy look at you, 00:15:24.65\00:15:27.95 you're so handsome in your Sabbath outfit. 00:15:27.98\00:15:31.16 Why are people buying and selling on a Sabbath mother. 00:15:31.19\00:15:35.87 Timothy, they don't keep the Sabbath like we do. 00:15:36.15\00:15:40.65 When God created the world, he created the Sabbath, 00:15:40.68\00:15:45.26 he created all the trees, and the grass, and the 00:15:45.29\00:15:48.71 animals that we see. He created all of that in 00:15:48.74\00:15:51.58 six days, and then on the seventh day he created the 00:15:51.61\00:15:55.83 Sabbath, and that was the day we are to rest 00:15:55.86\00:15:58.67 and worship God. He is the Lord of our Sabbath. 00:15:58.70\00:16:02.78 Remember how I taught you in the scriptures 00:16:02.81\00:16:05.13 about the fourth commandment. Yes. Yes, 00:16:05.16\00:16:10.24 and remember how I also taught you 00:16:10.27\00:16:12.67 what we are to do on the Sabbath. Yeah. 00:16:12.70\00:16:14.81 We get to go the temple and worship God. Yeah. 00:16:14.84\00:16:18.29 And we can sing praises there. Yeah. 00:16:18.32\00:16:20.87 And then we can also read scripture and learn 00:16:20.90\00:16:24.09 scripture, and put it in our hearts and treasure it. 00:16:24.12\00:16:28.15 We can also go and visit the poor. Yeah. 00:16:28.70\00:16:32.82 And the sick. Yeah. 00:16:32.85\00:16:34.49 And help them and show Jesus love to them. 00:16:34.52\00:16:37.18 We can do all of these things on the Sabbath. 00:16:37.21\00:16:39.93 Isn't that neat? Yeah. 00:16:39.96\00:16:41.88 And we can sing praises to him. 00:16:41.91\00:16:43.89 Do you remember that song that I taught you? 00:16:44.37\00:16:47.47 Remember that one? No. 00:16:47.50\00:16:49.51 The one about the Sabbath, do you remember that song? 00:16:50.14\00:16:52.75 Yeah. Can you sing that for me? 00:16:52.78\00:16:54.69 I can't remember it mother. 00:16:57.17\00:16:58.98 I'll help you. I'll start it out. Yeah. 00:16:59.01\00:17:01.15 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 00:17:01.18\00:17:08.65 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work. 00:17:08.68\00:17:15.28 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of The Lord thy God 00:17:15.82\00:17:20.58 in it thou shalt not do any work, 00:17:21.09\00:17:24.17 thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, 00:17:24.60\00:17:27.97 thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, 00:17:28.00\00:17:32.53 nor the stranger that is within thy gates 00:17:32.97\00:17:37.68 For in six days The Lord made heaven and earth, 00:17:37.71\00:17:41.68 the sea, and all that in them is, 00:17:41.71\00:17:44.83 and rested the seventh day: 00:17:44.86\00:17:47.80 therefore The Lord blessed the Sabbath day, 00:17:47.83\00:17:51.13 and hallowed it." Oh, that's perfect Timothy. 00:17:52.00\00:17:56.84 You do remember it. I'm so proud of you. 00:17:56.87\00:17:59.85 I would like to pray for you now. 00:17:59.88\00:18:02.11 Mommy wants to pray for you. 00:18:02.14\00:18:05.42 Lord God of the Sabbath, 00:18:05.45\00:18:06.78 I pray now that you will bless my son Timothy, 00:18:06.81\00:18:10.54 that you will help him to honor you all the days 00:18:10.57\00:18:14.22 of his life, and as he grows that he will want to 00:18:14.25\00:18:17.33 serve you in all that he does and says. 00:18:17.36\00:18:20.21 Thank you Lord. Amen. 00:18:20.24\00:18:23.21 Can we go to the temple how about that? 00:18:23.24\00:18:25.08 Lets go to the temple Timothy. 00:18:25.11\00:18:27.01 With the goat. With the goat. 00:18:27.04\00:18:28.08 So, you're saying if I sell that goat I'll have enough 00:18:28.11\00:18:30.58 money to buy two or three pieces of this carpet. 00:18:30.61\00:18:32.41 I think two or three pieces of material enough 00:18:32.44\00:18:34.20 to make this carpet. Okay, what I am going to do sir, 00:18:34.23\00:18:37.04 is the last day of the week, I am gong to take you up 00:18:37.07\00:18:39.22 on your offer. Okay, the goat is yours then. 00:18:39.25\00:18:41.93 And the carpet is yours. Thank you very much. 00:18:41.96\00:18:44.18 Thank you for the trade. Nice doing business with 00:18:44.21\00:18:45.91 you. You too. You have a good day. Thank you. 00:18:45.94\00:18:49.21 Hi boys and girls, it's time for Ms. Brenda's 00:20:22.68\00:20:24.89 book of the day. Book of the day. 00:20:24.92\00:20:26.73 And today's book boys and girls is called 00:20:26.76\00:20:29.01 'The Mysterious Treasure Map' it's by, 00:20:29.04\00:20:31.53 it's book one from Jerry D. Thomas, 00:20:31.56\00:20:33.58 all about the Shoebox kids, and you won't want to miss 00:20:33.61\00:20:36.63 what these Shoebox kids are doing in this story 00:20:36.66\00:20:39.16 'The Mysterious Treasure Map.' 00:20:39.19\00:20:42.01 Well something else you won't want to miss is our 00:20:42.04\00:20:44.00 program today. We have a couple of kids with us 00:20:44.03\00:20:47.02 that are dressed up a little different than 00:20:47.05\00:20:49.21 I usually see. I want you to meet Savanna and Codiac. 00:20:49.24\00:20:52.79 Thank you for being with us on Kids Time. 00:20:52.82\00:20:54.72 Now why are you dressed up like this, 00:20:54.75\00:20:56.74 why would you dress up like this? 00:20:56.77\00:20:58.15 Well. we dressed up like this for Halloween. 00:20:58.18\00:21:00.56 For Halloween. And why would you do that? 00:21:00.59\00:21:03.18 So we can witness. So you could witness for who? 00:21:03.98\00:21:06.67 For Jesus. For Jesus, 00:21:07.24\00:21:08.33 now what are you dressed up like, what Bible character? 00:21:08.36\00:21:10.48 Queen Esther. Like Queen Esther. 00:21:10.51\00:21:12.76 And what you are dressed up like. Shepherd boy. 00:21:12.79\00:21:14.92 Like a shepherd boy, that's good. 00:21:14.95\00:21:16.89 So tell me what did you do when you dressed up for 00:21:16.92\00:21:19.16 Halloween because you normally don't do anything 00:21:19.19\00:21:20.86 at Halloween, do you. We don't really believe in 00:21:20.89\00:21:22.77 and celebrating that holiday. But you found a way 00:21:22.80\00:21:25.84 to turn this Halloween into a witnessing experience. 00:21:25.87\00:21:28.05 Now tell me about it? Well on Halloween you know doors 00:21:28.08\00:21:32.00 are opened for kids, so we passed out these little 00:21:32.03\00:21:36.90 cards. And on these little cards it tells people 00:21:36.93\00:21:39.58 how to watch 3ABN on those networks, right. 00:21:39.61\00:21:43.09 It tells on the back too. And it tells them on the 00:21:43.12\00:21:45.41 back how they can even get 3ABN website, 00:21:45.44\00:21:47.61 and how can they watch online, and what did you 00:21:47.64\00:21:49.39 pass out. What do you have in your hand. 00:21:49.42\00:21:51.66 Ten Commandments Twice Removed books, 00:21:52.59\00:21:54.99 that's a good book to pass out. Can you hold it up, 00:21:55.02\00:21:56.98 for the camera to get a good shot of it and see? 00:21:57.01\00:21:58.96 That's it and it was written by two very special 00:21:58.99\00:22:01.55 friends of mine, Danny Shelton and Shelley Quinn, 00:22:01.58\00:22:04.90 and there is wonderful Bible Truth in there, 00:22:04.93\00:22:06.92 isn't it? So now what did you, you ring the doorbell 00:22:06.95\00:22:09.99 and when you say trick-or-treat and they 00:22:10.02\00:22:12.62 would answer the door, what did you do? 00:22:12.65\00:22:14.49 After they gave us candy, then we put this in, 00:22:15.96\00:22:18.97 give this to them. And the book. 00:22:19.64\00:22:21.44 Yeah. And did you have any, 00:22:21.47\00:22:22.84 did you people seem excited to get it. Yeah. 00:22:22.87\00:22:25.47 And you even met someone that special, 00:22:25.50\00:22:28.62 who did you meet? This guy was watching 3ABN, 00:22:28.65\00:22:32.96 he was very interesting, and he wanted to read that book. 00:22:32.99\00:22:35.73 Isn't that good, and so do you 00:22:36.57\00:22:37.82 believe that Jesus led you to that house. Yes. 00:22:37.85\00:22:40.40 I do. That's a wonderful way to share Jesus 00:22:40.43\00:22:43.14 and I want to ask you Codiac, do you love Jesus? 00:22:43.17\00:22:46.53 You do and you're a little bit shy aren't you? 00:22:47.35\00:22:49.55 And that's okay because you know what matters is 00:22:49.58\00:22:52.94 if you shine for Jesus everywhere you go, 00:22:52.97\00:22:55.08 and if you pray and ask God to help you, 00:22:55.11\00:22:57.16 he will always give you the right words to say, 00:22:57.19\00:22:59.07 isn't that awesome. Don't we serve an awesome God? 00:22:59.10\00:23:01.96 We do, well I have a couple of letters I'd like to read, 00:23:01.99\00:23:04.76 and if I have some pictures here maybe you can help me 00:23:04.79\00:23:07.05 with it. This one here is from the West Indies, 00:23:07.08\00:23:09.72 and so let's see what this one says. Dear Ms. Brenda, 00:23:10.15\00:23:13.62 it said greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord 00:23:14.81\00:23:17.21 and Jesus Christ. He says I am fifteen years old from 00:23:17.24\00:23:20.50 the beautiful Isle of Grenada and I am going to be 00:23:20.53\00:23:23.75 promoted soon in my school.
