00:01 It's almost time for Kids Time,
00:03 we're gonna be late. 00:04 It's time to share there's a world out 00:07 there looking for a friend like Jesus, 00:11 it's time to share there's a world out 00:15 there. Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:19 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:23 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:32 Hi boys and girls, isn't it fun to get a 00:35 letter addressed just to you. Especially, 00:38 if you don't even know who it's coming from? 00:40 Sometimes there might even be money 00:41 tucked inside or may be a balloon or some 00:43 pretty stickers or sometimes it's just good 00:47 news, right Max? Do you like good news? 00:50 I know Maxwell loves to get your letters. 00:52 I love getting letters too. I can hardly wait 00:55 for the special time on each Kids Time for me 00:58 to open up your letters. I love seeing your 01:00 photos and the pictures you draw, but my 01:03 favorite part is when you write and tell me 01:05 all the ways that you share Jesus. Today's 01:08 Bible story's about the Apostle Paul writing 01:11 a letter to his friends. He didn't have 01:13 a cellphone to call them and give them a message. 01:15 In fact, he didn't even have email or even a 01:18 ballpoint pen. He had to use a feather, 01:20 which we call a quill pen. And instead of a sheet 01:24 of paper that you fold up and you putting 01:26 into side of an envelope, he wrote on a scroll, 01:29 a long sheet of paper that's all rolled up, 01:31 but just like you when you get a letter? 01:34 Paul's friends were so excited when they 01:37 got his letter. They can hardly wait to 01:39 hear what he had to tell them, but to 01:41 find out what the message was that Paul 01:43 sent in his letter you're going to have to wait 01:46 for our Bible story today because right now, 01:48 hey Max, Max are you ready? 01:50 Get ready for Nature Time. 02:00 Hi, boys and girls, welcome to Nature 02:02 Time. Today Ranger Rod is in very exciting 02:04 place and I'm a very important path. 02:06 This path right here's made out of black top, 02:08 it moves along one of the most beautiful 02:11 rivers in all of North America. In fact, 02:13 I'm in Yellowstone National Park. Right 02:16 behind me is one of the most photograph 02:18 features; in fact one of the most photograph 02:19 falls, water falls in all the world. Boys and 02:23 girls, this beautiful water falls right behind 02:25 me is called Lower Falls of Yellowstone River. 02:27 Almost 60,000 gallons of water, every single 02:31 second at this time year in the spring flow 02:34 over this fall. They fall 308 feet to the bottom 02:38 of the canyon. This is Grand Canyon of 02:40 Yellowstone. Now, some people think that 02:43 they see this Yellowstone all the 02:44 long the sides of the banks through river here 02:46 that that's how Yellowstone got its name 02:48 Well, in fact that's not a reality. You see, 02:52 the Indians had given the river its name 02:53 because of the barge yellow clefts that 02:56 are on the river way out in North Dakota 02:59 right where the Yellowstone meets the 03:01 Missouri River. Then of course the Missouri 03:03 River flows on down meets the Mississippi 03:06 and eventually flows into the Gulf of Mexico. 03:09 Maybe you live somewhere near the Gulf of 03:11 Mexico, when you look out you see those 03:12 beautiful blue waters, some of it came from up 03:15 here in Western Wyoming, the Yellowstone 03:17 National Park. Boys and girls, it's very 03:20 important to stay on the path especially here 03:23 in Yellowstone, especially in a 03:24 dangerous place like this, it doesn't need 03:26 to be dangerous, but if Ranger Rod get off 03:28 the path and wasn't paying attention that's 03:30 almost a 1000 feet, that you could fall here 03:33 down into that river, wouldn't that be 03:35 horrible? I think that'd be scary. So, Ranger 03:37 Rod has to be very careful. Do you likes to 03:39 stay behind the, the, the barriers that the Park 03:42 is setup for our safety? Let's have a little talk 03:44 about these barriers and let's get a better 03:46 view sort of a birds eye view almost like we were 03:49 from helicopter or a bird down into these 03:51 beautiful falls, and lets take a closer look at, 03:53 what do you say? Boys and girls, we're 03:56 coming up on Lower Falls in Yellowstone. 04:36 Isn't this beautiful boys and girls? Ranger 04:38 Rod is standing here at this overlook and I can 04:41 feel the power and the ground is actually 04:43 shaking a little bit even though we're long 04:44 ways from that beautiful river and those huge 04:47 towering falls, you can see at the, at the top 04:50 of those falls that there's some people on 04:52 overlook over there every time Ranger Rod 04:54 gets on at overlook and looks down, it's 04:56 incredible the power and the force of that water 04:59 going over there. You know, I'm reminded when 05:01 I think about the power of this river especially 05:03 the danger of those falls. How horrible 05:06 would it be to fall into the river and be 05:09 swept over those falls? You know, 05:11 falling in a river like this would be sort of 05:13 like sin and temptation taking a hold of us. 05:16 Sometimes boys and girls, we're tempted if 05:18 we're in sin and temptation and it 05:21 doesn't look too dangerous, to be like 05:22 being far up the river. There is always plenty 05:25 of time to get out, but boys and girls, if we 05:28 play around a little bit with that sin we start 05:32 to get bold and we start to get little more brave 05:34 and we're closer and closer to the brink of 05:37 our own spiritual disaster just like on 05:40 over these falls would be. You know, that's 05:42 why it's so important to stay on a path 05:44 when we're here in Yellowstone Park, 05:45 especially looking over these large cliffs, 05:49 that's why it's also important to stay on 05:50 the path that God has set for us. You know, 05:52 the Bible says in Psalms 25:4, Show me thy ways, 05:56 O LORD: teach me thy paths." And in 05:59 Proverbs 3:5 and 6, it says, "Trust in the LORD 06:02 with all the heart; and lean not unto thine 06:04 own understanding. In all thy ways 06:07 acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." 06:12 God's path might sometimes seem a little 06:13 narrow and some more restrictive kind of like 06:16 these paths and trails that we follow in the 06:18 Park, but God always has our best interest 06:21 in view. Jesus loves you boys and girls. 06:23 And He wants what's best for you. And so, 06:25 it's very important just like staying 06:28 on the path, just like staying behind these 06:29 boundaries and this beautiful overlook where 06:32 over 2 million people every summer take their 06:36 picture here, maybe you've had your picture 06:37 here. I'm getting my picture taking here. 06:39 And boys and girls just like being here behind 06:43 this boundary let's trust Jesus to setup 06:46 boundaries for our lives. You know, I'm 06:48 gonna do that. And Ranger Rod wants to do that. 06:50 I hope you want to too, until next time 06:52 this is Ranger Rod saying, let's all 06:55 enjoy God's greater outdoors. 07:17 Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary 07:29 Pure and holy, tried and true 07:41 With thanksgiving, I'll be a living 07:53 sanctuary, Lord for You 08:05 Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary 08:15 Pure and Holy, tried and true 08:26 With thanksgiving I'll be a living 08:37 sanctuary, Lord for you. 09:05 Welcome to Learning Time. I'm glad you 09:08 joined us today, by the works of things 09:10 it looks like we're gonna cook stuff up, 09:12 doesn't it? Yeah. Yeah, well you'll be surprised 09:15 what we're gonna cook today. And I've got 09:16 three helpers; I've got Carrigan over here, 09:18 now Carrigan have you ever cook stuff up? 09:20 Yes. What would you like to cook? Peanut 09:23 butter and jelly sandwiches. Peanut 09:24 butter and jelly, you know I bet I could fix 09:26 that. Now, it would be interesting, 09:27 wouldn't it? And I have Maria over here, 09:29 now Maria have you ever hurt yourself? Yes. 09:31 What happened? I fell off my pony. Oh! 09:34 And what happened to you? I fell off and 09:38 I landed on my back. Oh! That's not a good 09:41 place to land, is it? Not on your back, 09:43 I don't think so. Well, and Luke you know, 09:46 have you ever hurt yourself? Yeah. Yeah, 09:50 has anybody ever given you first aid? 09:52 No. No, well that's bad. You know, when 09:54 somebody hurts themselves we ought to 09:56 give them first aid, shouldn't we? Yeah. 09:58 Yeah, because that patches them all up. 09:59 Yeah, and we got Max over here, look at Max. 10:02 Now, Max he looks like he's dreaming about 10:05 cooking something up, doesn't he? Yeah. 10:08 Yeah, I think so. Let's get my helpers up here. 10:10 Come on up here because we're gonna cook 10:11 some stuff up right. And we got some safety 10:14 glasses, we're gonna have them put safety 10:15 glasses on because well you, normally don't 10:17 put safety glasses on when you cook at home, 10:19 do you? No, no. No, okay and put your glasses 10:22 on over here. Now, what we're gonna do here 10:24 this is, we're gonna cook something up, 10:25 it's called elephants toothpaste. Do you know 10:28 that elephants have toothpaste? No. No, 10:31 they really don't, but this makes a lot of 10:33 toothpaste, so that's what we're gonna do 10:34 today. Now, what we're gonna use today 10:36 is we're gonna use some of the stuff right here 10:37 is called hydrogen peroxide. Now, have 10:40 you ever been had a cut or something and 10:42 somebody put hydrogen peroxide on your skin 10:44 or your cut. Yeah. And what happens, does it, 10:46 it is bubble up? Yes. Yeah, it bubbles up 10:49 that's catalytic reaction take place, that's 10:52 what we're gonna work with today. So, here 10:53 we're gonna have some helpers to help me 10:56 pour some of this hydrogen peroxide, so 10:57 why don't you take this? Can you see the 10:59 marks right there? Can you see where 4 ounce 11:01 is? Pour, pour it into the four ounce mark, 11:05 you see the four ounce setting right there four, 11:07 see the four? Yeah. Just pour it and until 11:10 it gets to four and then stop. So, we're gonna 11:12 measure very, very carefully you know, when 11:14 you cook you have to measure carefully, 11:16 don't you? Absolutely, and then we've got 11:19 something else right oh! This looks like soap, 11:21 you ever cook with soap Maria? No. No, 11:23 we're gonna cook with soap today here, 11:25 why don't you take this soap right here? 11:26 And I want you to put soap in there to fill 11:29 it up to the sixth mark; can you see the 11:30 little six right there? Fill it up to the six and 11:33 you just pour in and you have to squeeze 11:34 that bottle, get some more out of there, 11:35 just squeeze that thing right here. I hope 11:37 you never cook with soap because actually 11:39 we need soap to clean up with, don't we? 11:41 Okay and this is great, thanks for helping me. 11:43 And let's see why don't you put? Let's put 11:45 about two or three drops of that food coloring 11:48 in there. Okay or maybe four, okay to, that's 11:51 probably good okay. Why don't you stir that up 11:53 for us? We're gonna mix that all up. So, what 11:56 do we have in the jar and that little 11:57 measuring cup? We have hydrogen what? 12:00 Peroxide. Peroxide and we've got some soap, 12:03 some liquid soap. Okay, now what I want you 12:05 to do Maria is, can you pour that into there 12:08 for us? I'll take this little thing from you, 12:09 just pour it all in there, okay. Now, we 12:12 have some food coloring and hydrogen peroxide 12:14 and liquid soap. Now, hydrogen peroxide is 12:18 called H2O2, that's interesting. What does 12:21 that remind of H2O2? Water, water. Water 12:24 that's right. Because water is H2, what? O. 12:28 O, okay. So, it has one more oxygen atom 12:31 which is kind of cool, what? Hey, I've got 12:34 something in this container right here, 12:36 why don't you pick that up? And it happens 12:38 to be yeast, and we use yeast when we cook and 12:40 we bake, right like baking bread? Now, the 12:43 yeast happens to be a catalyst for us. Now, 12:46 a catalyst starts a reaction to take place. 12:48 So, we're gonna get a reaction 'cause you 12:50 know what I want you to do? Okay, I want you 12:53 to pour that very quickly right inside 12:55 here, but wait, wait, wait, wait a minute some 12:57 thing's gonna happen, are you ready for this? 12:59 Yes. Are you ready for this? Yes. Okay, 13:02 what we might do is just make a mess. Okay, 13:04 here we go, alright pour it all in here 13:05 for us, put it all in just like, okay and 13:08 then what we're gonna do is we're gonna 13:09 stand back and just see what happens. 13:11 Wow! We're getting a little reaction and, 13:13 and, and we're making some elephant's 13:16 toothpaste. Oh! My goodness. And 13:19 it just keeps going and going and going, 13:21 isn't that cool? Yeah. Wow! And the, the yeast 13:25 is our catalyst. And it actually decomposes 13:28 the hydrogen peroxide into, into water and 13:32 oxygen. And we're getting so much oxygen 13:34 and that we're making so much, so many 13:35 bubbles, but you know what? An elephant could 13:38 really brush his tooth without all that stuff 13:40 couldn't he? Yeah. Boy, I think so. Boy, if that 13:43 doesn't stop we're gonna be floating out to here 13:45 on foam, aren't we? Yes. You know, I want 13:50 to thank my helpers today for helping me 13:51 make elephants toothpaste. And you 13:53 know boys and girls, remember, every time we 13:56 learn about science, we're learning 13:58 more about our Creator God. 14:09 Therefore, comfort one another with these words. 14:15 Here Paul, I brought you some water to drink. 14:23 Thank you Timothy. I'm writing the 14:24 letter to the believers in 14:26 Thessalonika. Really, I remember them. 14:28 They were wonderful to us, weren't they? 14:30 Oh! I can't remember being with them and 14:32 they just had such a Spirit of Christ in 14:34 them. They did, full of faith and hope and, 14:36 and courage. Yes so, so what are you telling 14:40 them? Oh! I'm sending them a letter to remind 14:42 them to have hope in the soon coming of our 14:45 Lord Savior Jesus Christ. Can I hear some of the? 14:48 Please, let me read this to you. "But 14:51 we don't want you to be ignorant, brethren, 14:53 concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest 14:56 you sorrow as others who have no hope." 15:00 That's wonderful. "For if we believe that Jesus 15:03 died and rose again, even so God will bring with 15:06 him those who are asleep in Jesus. Yes. 15:09 For this we say to you by the word of 15:11 the Lord, that we who are alive and remain 15:14 until the coming of the Lord will by no means 15:17 precede those who are asleep." Oh! They need 15:19 that message Paul. "For the Lord Himself 15:22 will descend from heaven with a shout, 15:25 with the voice of an archangel and with the 15:27 trumpet of God, amen, and the dead in Christ 15:31 will rise first. Then we who are alive, and 15:35 remain shall be caught up together with them 15:37 in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, 15:39 and thus we shall always be with the Lord. 15:44 Therefore comfort one another with these 15:48 words." Paul that is a beautiful message, 15:52 how did you think of those words? God 15:53 has given me this message for the 15:55 believers in Thessalonika. Timothy, 15:58 may I entrust these sacred words with you? 16:03 I will see that they're delivered. 16:05 Deliver them to the believers in 16:07 Thessalonika. I will leave immediately. 16:09 And God's peace go with you. Thank you, Paul. 16:21 Excuse me sir, you're not from Thessalonika, 16:24 are you? No, I'm not. Where are you from? 16:27 Who are you looking for? I have a special 16:29 message from the Apostle Paul for the believers 16:31 in this city, but I don't know where to find 16:34 them. I'm a believer, follow me, follow me, 16:36 I know where they are. Yes, yes, follow me. 16:45 I'm so glad you're here, we could 16:47 use the encouragement. That's what I'm 16:49 here for. Oh! Alitta my sister. I found another 16:54 believer. Oh Timothy. Hey! It's good to see 17:00 you, praise God. Yes, listen Paul's been 17:02 concerned about the believers here, so he 17:05 wrote a special letter and he wants me 17:07 to read it to them. Oh! Wonderful, just what 17:09 we need, come in. Let's go. Timothy has come; 17:13 he's got a message from Paul for us. 17:17 Oh! That's wonderful. Yes, but Paul was 17:20 very concerned about you because he 17:23 knew that you have loved ones who have 17:25 died. Yes. And he didn't want you to mourn 17:27 as people who have no hope because 17:30 if Jesus resurrected from the grave, 17:32 so will our loved ones one day. Amen. 17:35 Listen to what he wrote here. "And we who 17:39 are alive and remain until the coming of 17:42 the Lord, will by no means precede those 17:45 who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will 17:50 descend from heaven with a shout, with the 17:53 voice of an archangel and with the trumpet 17:56 of God. Praise God. And the dead in Christ 18:00 will rise first. Then we who are alive, and 18:04 remain shall be caught up together with them 18:07 in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, 18:11 and thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18:14 Therefore comfort one another with these 18:19 words." Wonderful, wonderful. Did you get 18:23 those words? We're not going up without 18:26 our loved ones that have fallen asleep. 18:33 This is a treasure, Timothy, you must thank 18:36 Paul. I will, and it's yours to keep and read 18:40 and study and share it with others. 18:42 Yes, yes. Praise the Lord. 20:40 Hi, boys and girls. It's time for Miss Brenda's 20:43 Book of the day. And today's book is called 20:46 Secret of the Desert Lights by Sandy 20:48 Zaugg. And it's a story about following God's 20:52 laws and you really. Boys and girls, I recommend 20:54 this book highly. Well, today I wanna, 20:57 I have you meet two wonderful guests. 20:59 I have with me Alex and Jackson. Thank you, 21:02 Alex and Jackson for being with us today. 21:04 And it's so exciting to have you here. 21:07 And is Kids Time a program that you watch? 21:10 Yeah, yeah. It is, and tell what do we always 21:12 talked about on Kids Time? What we do to 21:14 share Jesus. Yeah, that's right. And that's 21:16 what I want you to tell us today. What do 21:18 you to do share Jesus? Well, I videotape 21:22 Church services and prophecy seminars and. 21:26 Now, when you say you videotape, do you and 21:28 your brother actually work and do this? Yeah, 21:30 yeah. You do. And we edit them on our computer 21:34 and then burn a DVD and make fancy labels 21:37 like this. Oh! Let me see, can I see this? 21:40 Oh! Look at this boys and girls, this is really 21:43 nice. Can you see that? And once we 21:47 have the DVDs and we want, we share them 21:50 with people who couldn't be there 21:51 or want copies to gives their friends. So, 21:55 it's a witnessing tool that you can use so, 21:57 yeah, the sermon each week, and when you say 22:00 you edit them, how long does it take you to 22:01 edit a program? Usually it takes about you 22:05 know, couple of hours and we, we add credits 22:08 and stuff on the ends of the programs. 22:10 Do you take down any bloopers? Yeah. Does 22:13 he get some bloopers sometimes? You do, and 22:16 Jackson what do you, what do you actually do 22:18 yourself in this process, do you do editing, 22:20 do you do all this stuff too? Yeah, I usually 22:22 film with the camera. So, you're right behind 22:25 the camera. Yeah. And is it hard keeping 22:27 up where the everybody's going and, 22:29 and keeping the camera steady. 22:30 Sometimes. Sometimes, do people come 22:33 in when they're trying to get through the 22:34 pew or walking past you ever bump your 22:36 camera or. Yeah. It happens. And sometimes 22:38 people walk in front of you too. Oh! Yeah, 22:41 so that's good, good editing takes care 22:43 of that. Could you have some good audience 22:44 shot or B-roll put in there. Yeah. That's 22:46 awesome. I'm really excited about what 22:50 you're doing because I think it's wonderful not 22:52 just for the people that your normal 22:54 visitors that couldn't, I mean your members 22:56 that couldn't come because now they 22:57 can see the Church service. How about the 22:59 one's that are home bound because of 23:02 illness that they're, they can't ever come 23:04 to Church anymore. You're bringing Church 23:05 to them. Yeah. And, and you also give it out 23:08 to visitors, right? Sometimes we want to, 23:11 we want to give them a DVD, so they can 23:13 watch the previous message they missed 23:15 or whatever. That's wonderful, right? 23:18 You actually brought, actually a video roll 23:22 for us, right. I think they have a video roll 23:24 showing exactly what they do and 23:26 let's take a look at that right now. 23:30 So, what are we do for Jesus? Well, in our 23:33 little ministry we make video productions, 23:35 if there is a prophecy seminar, a Camp 23:38 Meeting or just a special Church service 23:41 that can help spread the Gospel, we want 23:43 to be there to film it. And then share it with 23:46 others, just this year we've produced 23:48 four prophecy seminars, a Camp Meeting 23:51 with C.A. Murray and countless special 23:54 Church events. And we even filmed away. 23:57 We try and share these video productions 23:59 with as many people as we can. Often, people 24:02 want copies of an event, so they can share 24:04 those with others. Sometimes they want to 24:06 just view the events again, but most often we 24:09 like to visit those who've missed a Church 24:11 service to give them a copy of the DVD. 24:14 Many of our videos are shared on our 24:17 website desiremedia.org. People can either view 24:21 them online or have us mail them a DVD. 24:25 Speaking of our website, we're in 24:27 the middle of filming a Revelation seminar 24:29 right now. We're making our own study 24:32 guides to go along with the seminar called 24:35 Revelation Made Simple. You can see all this 24:38 on our website. If your Church has a special 24:41 event that you would like to have filmed 24:43 maybe we can help you too. We use multi-camera 24:47 production equipment and love to travel. 24:50 And all these we have one thing on our 24:53 minds that is to see our Savior Jesus 24:56 to turn sin. May God bless you as we 24:59 work together in sharing the Gospel. 25:03 Wow! What an incredible ministry. Boys, 25:06 I'm so proud of you. You are really doing 25:09 a lot for Jesus. Tell me Jackson, what project 25:11 are you working on now? It's a 25:13 Revelation seminar. And you have a nice case 25:17 that that is in. So, now do you sell some 25:19 of those? Yeah. You do, and what, do you 25:22 with the money when, when you sell it. 25:23 We put in our ministry. So, it goes back to 25:26 help to keep doing more for Jesus. Yeah.
