It's time to share 00:00:08.66\00:00:14.05 there's a world out there; Let's tell them that 00:00:14.08\00:00:17.62 He loves us so. Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:17.65\00:00:24.26 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:00:24.29\00:00:30.46 Hi, boys and girls. One of the most fun games 00:00:31.89\00:00:34.39 kids play is called hide & seek, I used to play this 00:00:34.42\00:00:37.77 game when I was a kid and my children loved to play 00:00:37.80\00:00:40.46 it too. Now, my grandsons Michael and Jason play 00:00:40.49\00:00:43.83 it with me and we have so much fun. In our Bible 00:00:43.86\00:00:47.27 story today you will learn about two men who had to 00:00:47.30\00:00:50.39 hide, they were spies, trying to get information 00:00:50.42\00:00:53.05 so the army can destroy the city of the enemy. 00:00:53.08\00:00:55.74 And they had disguised themselves and snuck 00:00:56.47\00:00:58.68 into the city to scout it out. Suddenly there is a knock 00:00:58.71\00:01:02.19 at the door and somebody has turned them in, 00:01:02.67\00:01:04.67 somebody has just told the enemy that they are in town, 00:01:04.70\00:01:08.02 the soldiers with their weapons are right there 00:01:08.05\00:01:10.82 outside the door, what should 00:01:10.85\00:01:12.06 they do? Hide and hide quickly, 00:01:12.09\00:01:14.32 this is no game of hide & seek, this is the real thing 00:01:14.35\00:01:18.47 and if they get caught they will surely be killed. 00:01:18.50\00:01:21.65 Well, by now you're probating wondering what's going 00:01:21.68\00:01:24.99 to happen to the two spies? Can they find a place to hide, 00:01:25.02\00:01:28.25 where they won't get caught? I don't know, Max, 00:01:28.28\00:01:32.32 what do you think? In our Bible story you will find 00:01:32.35\00:01:35.09 out where they hid and if they got caught. 00:01:35.12\00:01:38.29 You are not gonna want to miss this exciting story, 00:01:39.04\00:01:41.03 but first we are gonna have to get ready Maxwell, 00:01:41.06\00:01:43.84 are you awake, are you ready for Nature Time, 00:01:43.87\00:01:45.96 let's get ready for a Nature Time. 00:01:45.99\00:01:48.41 Hi, boy and girls and welcome to Nature Time. 00:01:55.90\00:01:57.58 Take a look at what's going on behind Ranger Rod 00:01:57.61\00:01:59.95 right now. I wish you are here with me right behind 00:02:25.55\00:02:28.10 me, looks like a lot of boys and girls out here, 00:02:28.13\00:02:30.10 their moms and dad have brought them out here 00:02:30.13\00:02:31.89 to enjoy this beautiful, beautiful geyser, 00:02:31.92\00:02:34.66 isn't that amazing? Geysers are one of the most famous 00:02:34.69\00:02:39.32 geothermal features in Yellowstone. 00:02:39.35\00:02:41.68 The geothermal feature, Ranger Rod, what's that? 00:02:41.71\00:02:44.40 Well, that's where hot water from underneath 00:02:44.60\00:02:46.98 the ground is some have bubbling up and boiling 00:02:47.01\00:02:49.05 and we can see it on the surface. 00:02:49.08\00:02:50.27 There's several different kinds, there's hot springs, 00:02:51.00\00:02:52.67 there's femoral, there's steam vents, 00:02:52.70\00:02:55.08 there's geysers, geysers are my favorite, 00:02:55.11\00:02:57.70 they're everybody's favorite, in fact there are 00:02:57.73\00:02:59.56 some really famous ones here in the park. 00:02:59.59\00:03:01.29 This geysers here, this is hot water, it's made steaming 00:03:02.70\00:03:05.48 hot, deep underneath the surface of the earth 00:03:05.51\00:03:07.06 and as it gets hot, it rushes up and comes to the little 00:03:07.09\00:03:10.46 constriction at the top. Isn't it just beautiful? 00:03:10.49\00:03:12.79 Isn't this exciting? There's thousands of people here 00:03:13.42\00:03:15.43 right now that are watching it. Boys and girls 00:03:15.46\00:03:17.74 just like you, who are fortunate enough to actually 00:03:17.77\00:03:20.69 be here in person. Maybe someday you will get the 00:03:20.72\00:03:23.17 chance to actually watch this beautiful faithful geyser 00:03:23.20\00:03:26.49 go off here in Yellowstone National Park. 00:03:26.52\00:03:29.07 Eight thousand gallons of water come out during 00:03:33.00\00:03:35.17 this eruption. You might ask why if shoots so high 00:03:35.20\00:03:37.30 like that, 180 feet, it sort of like putting your thumb 00:03:37.33\00:03:40.53 over top of a garden hose. Maybe when you're trying 00:03:40.56\00:03:42.57 to spray your brother or your sister or you're having 00:03:42.60\00:03:44.09 some fun. Look friends, look over there. 00:03:44.12\00:03:46.27 I like to tell you another story, faithfulness, 00:03:47.79\00:03:49.84 this is our story about a nine-year-old girl, Alicia, 00:03:50.63\00:03:53.22 our daughter, who every single day until her marriage 00:03:53.25\00:03:56.78 to J.D., February 10, 2008, that's ten years, 00:03:56.81\00:04:00.46 five months and sixteen days from the time she was 00:04:00.49\00:04:03.59 nine-years-old, 3816 times she wrote her mom and 00:04:03.62\00:04:08.51 dad a letter, a little love letter every night before 00:04:08.54\00:04:11.40 she went to bed without a single miss. 00:04:11.43\00:04:14.76 Not one miss just like old faithful that you see here 00:04:14.79\00:04:17.04 behind me. She never missed over a 100 years, 00:04:17.07\00:04:20.44 he's been monitored, this beautiful geyser every 90 00:04:20.47\00:04:22.87 minutes without a miss. Alicia did that for over 00:04:22.90\00:04:26.11 ten years without a miss that little letter. 00:04:26.14\00:04:28.62 Don't you love these examples that we get from nature 00:04:31.79\00:04:33.47 like beautiful old faithful. The example we have from 00:04:33.50\00:04:37.32 a young girl and the examples that we get from the 00:04:37.35\00:04:39.38 Bible on faithfulness, that's old faithful, right on time, 00:04:39.41\00:04:42.33 doesn't last very long, but it sure is incredible. 00:04:43.08\00:04:45.16 Oh! I love it, you know, sometimes old faithful lasts 00:04:46.10\00:04:49.43 a little longer than other times, you can kind of tell 00:04:49.46\00:04:52.17 by what kind of splashing and, and little events of steam 00:04:52.20\00:04:57.00 that come up before the geyser erupts. 00:04:57.03\00:04:59.21 But more of that, the more sort of teasing that 00:04:59.24\00:05:01.79 old faithful does before it actually erupts, 00:05:01.82\00:05:04.60 the shorter the eruption is gonna be. 00:05:04.63\00:05:07.37 This one was kind of a short one. Sometimes, 00:05:07.40\00:05:09.36 they are last a little bit longer, you never 00:05:09.39\00:05:11.39 really know just quite how long they're gonna last, 00:05:11.42\00:05:13.38 but that's part of the fun of being here at 00:05:13.41\00:05:15.43 Yellowstone National Park, there's a lots and lots 00:05:15.46\00:05:17.60 of geysers all through this area, 00:05:17.63\00:05:19.32 but again like Ranger Rod said, this is the most 00:05:19.96\00:05:22.08 famous, that's why these benches were so full 00:05:22.11\00:05:24.60 of boys and girls and moms and dads, 00:05:24.63\00:05:26.56 they are all here on this beautiful sunny day 00:05:26.59\00:05:28.75 to watch this beautiful, beautiful geyser, 00:05:28.78\00:05:31.10 just like you've been able to do in the comfort 00:05:31.66\00:05:33.15 of your home. You know, boys and girls 00:05:33.18\00:05:35.40 had to travel great distances to come here 00:05:35.43\00:05:37.91 to Yellowstone, I hope that you are gonna 00:05:37.94\00:05:39.88 get an opportunity maybe someday to visit a 00:05:39.91\00:05:41.79 beautiful natural feature, not too far from your home. 00:05:41.82\00:05:44.71 Boys and girls, this is the faithfulness of, 00:05:45.85\00:05:47.77 of this geyser reminds me have some Bible stories. 00:05:47.80\00:05:51.28 You know, Daniel was faithful, 00:05:51.31\00:05:53.16 the Bible tells us that that he was so faithful, 00:05:53.19\00:05:55.72 he prayed to God three times a day, 00:05:55.75\00:05:57.77 that got him into some trouble, he ended up 00:05:58.49\00:05:59.86 spending the night in a lion's den for that, 00:05:59.89\00:06:01.72 do you remember the story. There's some other 00:06:01.75\00:06:04.31 faithful boys that were friends of Daniel's, 00:06:04.34\00:06:06.26 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. You know, 00:06:06.29\00:06:08.55 they had to get into a fiery furnace, 00:06:08.58\00:06:10.44 a lot hotter than old faithful here. In fact, they 00:06:10.47\00:06:13.75 would have probably been happy for a little water 00:06:13.78\00:06:15.53 in there, but you know, what? Jesus protected 00:06:15.56\00:06:17.20 them because they were faithful. You know, 00:06:17.23\00:06:19.75 the Bible tells us in Revelation 2:10 that, 00:06:19.78\00:06:23.20 "If we are faithful unto death that Jesus will gave 00:06:23.23\00:06:26.46 us a crown of life." You know, boys and girls the 00:06:26.49\00:06:29.48 examples that we see in nature, they are all 00:06:29.51\00:06:31.65 around us. We need to apply them to our lives, 00:06:31.68\00:06:34.04 we need to read God's word and apply his word 00:06:34.07\00:06:37.28 to our lives as well, amen. We can be faithful, 00:06:37.31\00:06:40.50 we can be faithful to our parents, we can be faithful 00:06:40.53\00:06:42.94 in school, be honest and true always. 00:06:42.97\00:06:44.67 Be faithful like this old beautiful geyser that 00:06:44.70\00:06:47.39 we just enjoyed so much. Until next time boys and girls, 00:06:47.42\00:06:51.04 this is Ranger Rod saying, let's 00:06:51.07\00:06:52.89 all enjoy God's great outdoors. 00:06:52.92\00:06:55.48 He made the water run, he made lands stay dry put. 00:07:12.63\00:07:16.14 Twinkle in stars and blue in the sky, 00:07:16.17\00:07:19.76 when he was sure it worked as it should, 00:07:19.79\00:07:23.81 God looked at his world and said that's good. 00:07:24.02\00:07:28.05 Good, good, good, he said that's good, good, 00:07:28.80\00:07:37.05 good, good, God looked at his world and said that's good. 00:07:37.08\00:07:43.68 He put a little wag in a puppy dog's tail, 00:07:46.29\00:07:49.46 put a little a little slow in a silly old snail, 00:07:49.49\00:07:53.23 when he was sure it worked as it should. 00:07:53.26\00:07:57.02 God looked at his world and said that's good. 00:07:57.05\00:08:01.26 Good, good, good, he said that's good, good, good, 00:08:02.09\00:08:10.85 good, God looked at his world and said 00:08:10.88\00:08:14.59 that's good, that's good, that's good. 00:08:15.13\00:08:20.38 Welcome to learning time. I'm glad you joined us 00:08:28.98\00:08:31.06 today. Hey, we've got an interesting science 00:08:31.09\00:08:33.06 experiment and I've got some helpers, 00:08:33.09\00:08:34.91 so let's see who will have over here. 00:08:34.94\00:08:36.46 Oh! I've got Jordan over here. 00:08:36.49\00:08:37.77 Jordan, what do you like to do best in the 00:08:37.80\00:08:39.92 summer time? Go swimming. Go swimming! 00:08:39.95\00:08:43.61 Now that would be a cool thing to do. 00:08:44.56\00:08:45.82 And we have Jacob over here and Jacob how old 00:08:45.85\00:08:48.04 are you? Twelve. Twelve-years-old 00:08:48.07\00:08:50.65 and I'm glad you're with us too, and we've got 00:08:50.68\00:08:52.27 Camille over here, Camille, when you're out of school 00:08:52.30\00:08:55.79 in the summer time what's your favorite activity? 00:08:55.82\00:08:57.90 Swim. Swimming! Wow! Hey and why don't you 00:08:57.93\00:09:01.48 all come up here because we're gonna do an 00:09:01.51\00:09:03.08 interesting experiment that has to do with water 00:09:03.11\00:09:05.89 and you mentioned some swimming and that should 00:09:05.92\00:09:08.18 be good. Okay, if you could stand right here at the end, 00:09:08.21\00:09:10.60 come on up here Jacob, you can stand right in the middle 00:09:10.63\00:09:12.90 and that will be fun, right over here in the middle 00:09:12.93\00:09:14.99 this is interesting. Now, how many of you like to swim? 00:09:15.69\00:09:17.59 Oh! I do too. You know, you also like to swim, 00:09:17.62\00:09:20.69 I know you just told me you like to swim, 00:09:20.72\00:09:22.07 don't you? You know, have you ever taken 00:09:22.10\00:09:23.86 a deep breath and then you went under the water, 00:09:23.89\00:09:26.05 have you ever done that? Okay, and then 00:09:26.08\00:09:28.77 have you ever dove down really deep maybe 00:09:28.80\00:09:30.74 in a swimming pool, have you ever done that? Yeah, 00:09:30.77\00:09:33.12 well today we're gonna be looking at that because 00:09:33.15\00:09:35.28 there is a lot of science and breathing. 00:09:35.31\00:09:36.86 How many you ever breathed under water, 00:09:36.89\00:09:39.58 have you ever breathed under water? Have you all ever. 00:09:39.61\00:09:41.95 It's interesting you know, fish do that all the time, 00:09:41.98\00:09:44.50 don't they? Now, but we're not fish. Now, today I've got 00:09:44.53\00:09:46.97 some balloons and if you could pick up a balloon right 00:09:47.00\00:09:49.24 there and let's see what we can do, can you, 00:09:49.27\00:09:52.22 can you blow your balloon up. And here let me blow 00:09:52.25\00:09:54.05 your balloon up and go ahead and blow it up for us, 00:09:54.08\00:09:56.19 here we go. And it takes a lot of energy to blow up, 00:09:56.22\00:09:58.42 you know stretch it out, and then it's easier to blow up, 00:09:58.45\00:10:00.63 here we go. Okay, then the hardest job about blowing 00:10:00.66\00:10:07.21 up balloons is doing what? Tying. Tying a balloon 00:10:07.24\00:10:10.28 and I could tie mine over here. Hey, why don't 00:10:10.31\00:10:12.86 you hold on to mine Jacob. And I'll help you tie yours, 00:10:12.89\00:10:15.24 okay. Just like this here we go, we are gonna tie this 00:10:15.27\00:10:18.02 balloon up here. Oh! Did you get yours all tied up, 00:10:18.05\00:10:20.66 not yet, I'll tell you, I'm getting my fingers all tied up 00:10:21.49\00:10:23.13 There we go, now hang on to this, now I'm gonna 00:10:25.25\00:10:27.45 comeback over here what we have right here is we 00:10:27.48\00:10:29.77 got a little vacuum chamber. And you know, 00:10:29.80\00:10:31.70 what happens if you and I are a swimming pool 00:10:31.73\00:10:34.48 and we take a deep breath and we go down to the 00:10:34.51\00:10:36.41 bottom of the pool, we can't breathe again until 00:10:36.44\00:10:39.76 we comeback up. You know, if we happen to be a 00:10:39.79\00:10:41.89 scuba diver you know scuba divers they carry their 00:10:41.92\00:10:44.50 own air, don't they? In tanks, and if they take 00:10:44.53\00:10:46.92 a deep breath in the bottom of the swimming pool 00:10:46.95\00:10:49.03 or maybe they're in the ocean some place you know, 00:10:49.06\00:10:51.83 what they have to do, when they come up, 00:10:51.86\00:10:53.38 they have to breath that's right, they can't hold 00:10:54.62\00:10:56.44 their breath and they got a breath of air, 00:10:56.47\00:10:58.26 way at the bottom they have to let the air out as they 00:10:58.29\00:11:00.99 come up. Otherwise something interesting would 00:11:01.02\00:11:03.31 happen and very dangerous. So, we're gonna 00:11:03.34\00:11:05.09 kind of do this experiment, can you put your 00:11:05.12\00:11:07.14 balloon right in there, okay and put yours right 00:11:07.17\00:11:09.49 in there for us. Oh! Oh! That one's too big. Okay, 00:11:09.52\00:11:13.15 well let's see, oh! Let's see hey let's just try yours, 00:11:14.76\00:11:17.16 okay. Alright, so we got one that's just the right 00:11:17.19\00:11:19.12 size and I'm gonna put those right on top of my 00:11:19.15\00:11:21.38 vacuum chamber just like this and that that 00:11:21.41\00:11:24.05 represents a diver, a diver that took a big breath 00:11:24.08\00:11:27.74 of air underneath of water and as they come up, 00:11:27.77\00:11:30.03 if they don't breathe out, what do you suppose 00:11:30.06\00:11:33.01 would happen to them? They'll drown. They will drown 00:11:33.04\00:11:35.78 something might happen, I'm gonna turn this 00:11:35.81\00:11:38.00 on and this is, we are gonna look at this, 00:11:38.03\00:11:40.01 what's gonna happen to our little balloon. 00:11:40.07\00:11:41.28 What's happen to our balloon? It's getting bigger. 00:11:42.04\00:11:45.20 It's getting bigger because there is a less pressure 00:11:45.23\00:11:46.66 on the balloon and if that was the diver's lungs, 00:11:46.69\00:11:50.78 the lungs would do what? Wow! The lungs would 00:11:50.81\00:11:52.04 do what? Wow! The lungs would you have a problem 00:11:52.07\00:11:57.21 wouldn't they? And air would get into their blood 00:11:57.24\00:11:59.61 system and that would be a bad situation, 00:11:59.64\00:12:02.75 wouldn't it? But you know what do fish happen 00:12:03.11\00:12:05.06 do they have to worry about breathing out now 00:12:05.09\00:12:07.43 I'm not holding their breath at the wrong time. 00:12:07.46\00:12:09.24 No. No, they don't have to worry about that because 00:12:09.27\00:12:13.02 God created them just that way you know, 00:12:13.05\00:12:15.11 I think that maybe someday we are gonna be able 00:12:15.14\00:12:17.16 to breath under water, how many if you are like 00:12:17.19\00:12:19.44 to breath under water? Well, I will too, 00:12:19.47\00:12:21.50 that would be kind of interesting, wouldn't it? 00:12:21.53\00:12:23.11 Because there is lots of interesting things 00:12:23.14\00:12:24.57 that we can see under water. So, divers have 00:12:24.60\00:12:27.06 to be very, very careful when they're under water, 00:12:27.09\00:12:29.63 if they take a deep breath under water. 00:12:29.66\00:12:31.52 As they come up what should they keep doing? 00:12:31.55\00:12:33.67 Breathing in and out, they shouldn't hold their breath, 00:12:34.42\00:12:36.86 if they hold their breath, what would happen? 00:12:36.89\00:12:38.91 They'd pop. That air would go right into their blood 00:12:40.19\00:12:41.96 system and that would be a bad news, 00:12:41.99\00:12:43.86 it's called an air embolism and they could die, 00:12:43.89\00:12:46.45 isn't that interesting? That's why you have to get 00:12:46.48\00:12:48.74 very special training to be a scuba diver and that's 00:12:48.77\00:12:51.47 really fun. Now, you know, I want to thank my, 00:12:51.50\00:12:53.68 my helpers today. You know you did a great job, 00:12:53.71\00:12:56.41 Jordan, thanks for being with us and Jacob, 00:12:57.38\00:12:58.95 thanks for being with us today. Now, 00:13:01.46\00:13:05.50 what we're going to do is we are going to ask you 00:13:05.72\00:13:08.46 not to do that experiment at home, okay. 00:13:08.49\00:13:10.31 Don't get it, don't take a deep breath and hold 00:13:10.34\00:13:12.42 it while you come up out of water, you got a have 00:13:12.45\00:13:14.93 your breath at the top and you can go down 00:13:14.96\00:13:16.86 and then you can comeback up again and you 00:13:16.89\00:13:19.09 will be just fine, but remember boys and girls, 00:13:19.12\00:13:21.48 whenever we learn more about science we are 00:13:21.51\00:13:23.85 learning more about our creator God. 00:13:23.88\00:13:27.75 Gentlemen are you new to the area? 00:13:39.38\00:13:42.16 Yes, we are, we're just travelers just passing through 00:13:42.19\00:13:45.18 Oh! Would you like a room for the night? 00:13:45.21\00:13:47.74 I can offer you one. We do need a room for the night. 00:13:47.77\00:13:51.21 Just a room, that's all we need. 00:13:51.24\00:13:52.69 Oh! Gentlemen, are you hungry? 00:14:22.14\00:14:23.72 Oh! Yes. I got you some food? 00:14:23.75\00:14:25.28 Open up, open the door Rehab. 00:14:26.48\00:14:27.97 Thank you. Oh! Sir, just quick to the crowd, 00:14:28.00\00:14:31.18 they'll hide you, they'll hide you. 00:14:31.21\00:14:33.90 Open up, open the door. Oh! Man if they find us, 00:14:33.93\00:14:35.33 we're in trouble, come lets not wait here, quickly. 00:14:36.48\00:14:37.90 Open the door. I'm coming. Open the door. Well they'll be strange men that 00:14:49.60\00:14:51.23 you have never known before. 00:14:51.26\00:14:52.23 Okay, they were two strange men, 00:14:53.34\00:14:55.46 but they left by the gate and if 00:14:55.49\00:14:57.68 you hurry you can catch them. 00:14:57.71\00:14:59.82 It was reported to the King that you have spies 00:14:59.85\00:15:00.82 Come on let's go. They're gone, they're gone, 00:15:00.83\00:15:09.21 the soldiers are gone. Oh! Praise the Lord. 00:15:09.35\00:15:11.18 That was close, that was close. Thank you. 00:15:11.33\00:15:15.27 I know now who you are? You are spies for the 00:15:15.30\00:15:19.11 camp of Israel. Yeah, you are right. 00:15:19.18\00:15:21.76 And we know would that your God in this land, 00:15:22.68\00:15:24.42 we know what he has done for you. 00:15:24.98\00:15:26.45 Everyone knows about our God. How he has 00:15:26.48\00:15:28.29 delivered you from Egypt? How he parted the Red 00:15:28.32\00:15:31.03 Sea and you walked on dry land and what he did for 00:15:31.08\00:15:33.92 you to the two Kings of the Amorites, we know, 00:15:33.98\00:15:36.67 and our people here in this land are terrified of you. 00:15:37.08\00:15:40.20 And well, they should be. And we know, I know that 00:15:40.31\00:15:44.63 your God is going to deliver us into your hands. 00:15:44.66\00:15:48.02 So, I beg of you, I beg of you, please, please save me 00:15:48.66\00:15:56.29 and my father's house. You have saved us, 00:15:56.43\00:15:59.06 we will save you and your father's house. 00:16:00.12\00:16:02.14 We make this oath, we will save you and your family, 00:16:03.34\00:16:06.63 the whole brothers and sisters, but if you leave that 00:16:06.88\00:16:10.64 house when we attack they'll all be killed. 00:16:10.79\00:16:13.70 Stay in the house, they must come into the house, 00:16:16.14\00:16:18.20 alright, must be in this house, if they go out of the 00:16:18.37\00:16:20.23 door, their blood will be upon their own heads. 00:16:20.28\00:16:22.82 Alright. And if you tell anybody about this 00:16:23.07\00:16:25.99 arrangement the agreement's off. The agreement's off, 00:16:26.06\00:16:28.55 you tell no one. Okay, is that clear? Yeah, it's clear, 00:16:28.63\00:16:31.55 it's clear it's clear. Thank you, thank you very much. 00:16:31.81\00:16:35.43 Now, come with me, I know the way out. 00:16:35.81\00:16:37.61 Oh! You're heavy. Rehab, hang this scarlet over your 00:16:41.55\00:16:46.16 window, when the soldiers come, they'll know it's 00:16:46.40\00:16:49.52 your house and spare thee. Oh! Are you down? 00:16:49.64\00:16:53.00 I'm down. Go, quickly to the mountains and hide and 00:16:53.27\00:16:57.33 may you're God be with you. It's time for Ms. Brenda's book 00:19:48.77\00:19:51.21 of the day. And today's book is called Escape 00:19:51.33\00:19:54.94 from Egypt by Bradley Booth and it's called, 00:19:55.30\00:19:58.91 it's says the Egyptian army is coming, the guards were 00:19:59.75\00:20:02.33 shouting excitedly and suddenly the whole camp was 00:20:02.59\00:20:05.21 in an uproar, it was like the world was coming 00:20:05.24\00:20:07.01 to an end and everybody knew it. Says, do you trust 00:20:07.04\00:20:10.57 God even in the bad times, let this story of God's 00:20:10.64\00:20:13.87 power and victory help you to always put your faith 00:20:13.99\00:20:16.53 and trust in him. And Bradley Booth is a wonderful 00:20:16.62\00:20:19.84 friend of Ms. Brenda's, in fact we went to the same 00:20:19.91\00:20:21.75 church for a while and he can sure write stories, 00:20:21.83\00:20:24.73 you are gonna want this book. I'm so excited 00:20:24.96\00:20:27.65 boys and girls because I want you to meet a very 00:20:27.80\00:20:30.36 special young man, his name is Nathaniel. 00:20:30.58\00:20:32.65 And Nathaniel thank you so much for being here 00:20:32.93\00:20:35.00 with us today. And let me ask you this, you watch 00:20:35.18\00:20:38.89 Kid's Time for a while now, right? Yes. 00:20:39.04\00:20:40.41 And I saw you, where did I see you? When we were 00:20:40.99\00:20:44.67 able to meet in person. Knoxville. In Knoxville, 00:20:44.70\00:20:47.50 that's right at, at my home church right? 00:20:47.60\00:20:49.90 And I asked you to be here today because you shared 00:20:50.80\00:20:52.88 something with Ms. Brenda that really touched my heart. 00:20:52.95\00:20:55.29 And you told me how, what caused you make the 00:20:55.82\00:20:59.93 decision to give your heart to Jesus, would you mind 00:21:00.07\00:21:02.56 sharing that with the boys and girls, what made you 00:21:02.61\00:21:04.73 decide to give your heart to Jesus and be baptized. 00:21:04.78\00:21:07.21 Well, I saw that, how the kids acted they were 00:21:08.25\00:21:13.99 good. The kids acted on Kid's Time, 'cause you 00:21:14.59\00:21:19.68 watched Kid's Time and you were watching Kid's Time 00:21:19.77\00:21:22.62 and you saw how the kids that come in and they were 00:21:22.70\00:21:24.51 on sharing time just like you're on sharing time 00:21:24.60\00:21:26.51 now and then what? They acted like they were 00:21:26.59\00:21:30.30 good kids and I want to be like that and also that 00:21:31.36\00:21:35.23 I saw that a time might come when I have a 00:21:36.32\00:21:39.33 chance to, so I wanted to do that. So you wanted to 00:21:39.50\00:21:43.19 make your decision right then, so because of Kid's 00:21:43.40\00:21:45.90 Time you made your decision for Jesus and that 00:21:46.01\00:21:48.59 that just touched my heart when, when Nathaniel 00:21:48.82\00:21:50.94 shared that with me, I just was like Oh! You know, 00:21:51.04\00:21:53.29 they are so many young, young men especially who 00:21:53.32\00:21:56.09 feel like they're too cool, it's not cool to love Jesus 00:21:56.13\00:21:58.71 and it is cool of the love Jesus, isn't it? 00:21:59.15\00:22:00.89 That's right and there is no greater joy than 00:22:01.44\00:22:03.13 serving Jesus. And you've done a lot to share Jesus; 00:22:03.22\00:22:06.55 you have a neighbor you want to tell me about your 00:22:06.86\00:22:08.11 neighbor. Well, one time me and my dad decide 00:22:08.14\00:22:14.44 to cut wood for our neighbors 'cause they're 00:22:15.28\00:22:18.57 hurt and that can't get the wood themselves, 00:22:18.76\00:22:21.33 so we decided to cut the wood and take it to their 00:22:21.78\00:22:25.24 place and stack them for them and it came out, 00:22:25.39\00:22:28.18 dad went to the hospital so. 'Cause your own dad 00:22:28.42\00:22:30.83 was sick, right? Yeah. And he's not doing very well, 00:22:30.87\00:22:33.13 so, so you had the responsibility fell on you. 00:22:33.29\00:22:36.09 Yeah. And did you still do that? Yes. And you have, 00:22:36.46\00:22:39.26 I understand you chopped the wood, 00:22:39.33\00:22:40.80 stack the wood, and then took it over in your 00:22:41.03\00:22:42.88 wheelbarrow, what did your neighbors say, 00:22:42.92\00:22:44.74 when you know, because your neighbor was disabled? 00:22:44.85\00:22:46.65 He was shocked. He was shocked! Yeah. I'm sure to 00:22:47.57\00:22:50.32 thank that a young man would take time, 00:22:50.39\00:22:52.15 usually people think you're off doing your own thing, 00:22:52.27\00:22:54.76 playing video games, doing things that you know 00:22:54.97\00:22:57.38 kids in the world are doing, but you were first hand 00:22:57.66\00:23:00.63 sharing Jesus. When we have an act of kindness 00:23:01.20\00:23:02.80 like that, that is a wonderful way to share 00:23:02.86\00:23:04.72 Jesus isn't it? You also did something that was a great 00:23:04.86\00:23:07.69 witnesses experience that I thought would be good 00:23:07.77\00:23:10.43 to share with the boys and girls, you helped your 00:23:10.46\00:23:12.02 mom makes some cupcakes. Yes. You tell me 00:23:12.17\00:23:13.88 about that. We makes some cupcakes and put them 00:23:13.91\00:23:17.09 in little Christmas baskets and we put Steps to 00:23:17.12\00:23:20.49 Christ and gave them to our neighbors as a 00:23:20.81\00:23:23.28 witnessing tool. What does it make you feel like 00:23:23.37\00:23:25.49 when you're out there knocking on that door 00:23:25.68\00:23:26.86 and you've got that gift for them? Well, it makes me 00:23:26.99\00:23:29.75 feel like Christ is appreciating what I'm doing 00:23:29.81\00:23:32.30 for him. He does too, 00:23:32.33\00:23:34.18 it really makes Jesus happy, 00:23:34.21\00:23:35.75 doesn't it, to share him. Never be ashamed to 00:23:36.07\00:23:38.77 witness for Jesus. Boys and girls, I wanna encourage 00:23:38.94\00:23:40.57 you never to be ashamed of witnessing for Jesus. 00:23:40.60\00:23:42.83 And if you are say I'm shy, I can't do that, 00:23:43.16\00:23:45.42 then you pray and ask Jesus to help you and he will, 00:23:45.64\00:23:48.34 isn't that right. Yes. And you also have a witness 00:23:48.75\00:23:51.60 to a friend, you invited them to watch Doug Bachelor 00:23:51.72\00:23:54.35 and the adventures for kids that aired on 3ABN. 00:23:54.38\00:23:56.72 And tell me what about the results of that? 00:23:56.98\00:23:58.94 Well, I got him into Kids Time and he said he 00:23:59.53\00:24:02.98 wanted a Bible, and he wanted to go through the 00:24:03.01\00:24:06.45 lessons. So, you could sign your friend up for 00:24:06.54\00:24:09.09 the Bible lessons.
