It's almost time for kids time. We gonna be late. 00:00:01.98\00:00:04.54 It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:04.57\00:00:08.47 Looking for a friend like Jesus. 00:00:08.50\00:00:12.12 It's time to share there's a world out there; 00:00:12.15\00:00:16.44 let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:16.47\00:00:20.09 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:20.12\00:00:24.10 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:00:24.13\00:00:30.16 Hi, boys and girls. There isn't a lot of good news 00:00:31.25\00:00:33.99 to read about at least not in the newspaper, is there? 00:00:34.02\00:00:36.83 The world is full of people who are sick and dying 00:00:36.86\00:00:39.52 and losing their homes because they don't have 00:00:39.55\00:00:41.36 enough money to pay their bills. 00:00:41.39\00:00:43.01 And the paper is full of sad stories. 00:00:43.04\00:00:45.49 I rather read about the stories about God taking 00:00:45.52\00:00:48.32 care of his people and there are plenty of stories 00:00:48.35\00:00:50.83 like that, I told a lot of them in a book I wrote 00:00:50.86\00:00:53.66 about Hurricane Katrina and I met hundreds of 00:00:53.69\00:00:56.33 people who told me personally how God took 00:00:56.36\00:00:58.90 care of them when that big storm hit. 00:00:58.93\00:01:00.88 So believe me boys and girls there is plenty of 00:01:00.91\00:01:03.37 good news out there. Our Bible story today is 00:01:03.40\00:01:06.30 about a woman who thought she was going to 00:01:06.33\00:01:08.08 lose everything. It would have made a great 00:01:08.11\00:01:10.95 newspaper story, huh! But God stepped in and well, 00:01:10.98\00:01:14.63 you have to wait and see what happened. 00:01:14.66\00:01:16.85 First let's get ready for nature time. 00:01:16.88\00:01:20.40 HI, boys and girls. Welcome to nature time. 00:01:25.48\00:01:27.70 You know, we're here again in beautiful 00:01:28.21\00:01:30.10 Western Montana, Up at Glacier National Park 00:01:30.13\00:01:32.84 and what I like to talk today is something that 00:01:32.87\00:01:37.09 may seem just a little bit different for nature time. 00:01:37.12\00:01:40.12 But it's one of the forces of nature. 00:01:40.94\00:01:43.02 Now you would think is a force of nature be maybe 00:01:43.05\00:01:46.20 a great storm or maybe the waves of a huge ocean 00:01:46.23\00:01:51.10 rolling in or Tsunami, but we're gonna talk about a 00:01:51.13\00:01:55.06 forest fire. Now you might say a forest fire, 00:01:55.09\00:01:58.90 that's a horrible thing. Well, let's talk about 00:01:58.93\00:02:01.04 this for a minute. These trees that you see behind 00:02:01.07\00:02:03.62 me like this one here that's been scorched black 00:02:03.65\00:02:05.90 and unfortunately it's been killed, it has opened 00:02:05.93\00:02:08.44 up the canopy for some very necessary foliage 00:02:08.47\00:02:11.85 in plants that wouldn't normally grow under heavy 00:02:11.88\00:02:14.74 shade. Many of the animals here in 00:02:14.77\00:02:16.89 Glacier National Park rely heavily on eating these 00:02:16.92\00:02:20.59 plants and they need open areas. 00:02:20.62\00:02:22.95 While it does definitely alter and change the 00:02:24.22\00:02:27.28 appearance of this forest and in some ways it does 00:02:27.31\00:02:30.57 do damage. Let's talk for a moment about erosion. 00:02:30.60\00:02:34.43 When a forest fire goes through it burns all of the 00:02:34.46\00:02:37.36 little grasses and it lives the forest floor 00:02:37.39\00:02:39.86 susceptible to being washed away. 00:02:39.89\00:02:42.96 There is not much top soil in a forest like this, 00:02:42.99\00:02:45.60 with only pine needles falling on it and decaying 00:02:45.63\00:02:48.16 down. It takes hundreds of years to make just a 00:02:48.19\00:02:51.28 quarter inch of top soil here and so after a fire 00:02:51.31\00:02:54.61 goes through, much of that top soil is washed down 00:02:54.64\00:02:57.74 into the lower valleys and into the lower meadows. 00:02:57.77\00:02:59.95 Many of those meadows need that top soil. 00:03:00.54\00:03:02.45 So they can have a healthy plant base, 00:03:02.48\00:03:04.63 that's so necessary on this fragile echo system. 00:03:04.66\00:03:07.56 God has created plants that come up with very, 00:03:08.38\00:03:11.63 very little top soil. The fire weed for instance, 00:03:11.66\00:03:15.51 that's a very necessary plant. Many of the species 00:03:15.54\00:03:18.25 that live here in Glacier National park and all 00:03:18.28\00:03:19.79 over the Western United States, 00:03:19.82\00:03:21.70 eat that fire weed and rely on it heavily and so 00:03:22.57\00:03:25.77 when that plants comes up, also the little hummingbirds 00:03:25.80\00:03:29.23 they need that also to survive on. 00:03:29.26\00:03:31.81 Many of the tree species here depend on forest fire, 00:03:32.94\00:03:35.82 like the Lodgepole Pine. The pine cone of the Lodgepole 00:03:35.85\00:03:39.55 does not open up and reseed the forest without 00:03:39.58\00:03:42.26 extreme heat. That extreme heat is only available 00:03:42.29\00:03:45.85 through forest fire. Now let's talk a little bit 00:03:45.88\00:03:48.69 about what's very harmful about a forest fire. 00:03:48.72\00:03:51.17 In many areas forest fire is responsible for 00:03:51.20\00:03:54.69 burning many, many peoples' home. 00:03:54.72\00:03:56.34 Forest fire is responsible for destroying much property 00:03:56.37\00:03:59.69 and boys and girls, that is a sad thing. 00:04:00.42\00:04:02.02 Also it makes our forest not look as beautiful 00:04:02.05\00:04:05.55 and green as God would like it to be. 00:04:05.58\00:04:07.44 Boys and girls, the only place we need a hot fire 00:04:08.12\00:04:10.70 burning is in our hearts, let this little light of mind 00:04:10.73\00:04:13.42 become a raging flame, telling others about Jesus, 00:04:13.45\00:04:16.37 until next time this is Ranger Rod saying 00:04:16.89\00:04:19.02 let's all enjoy God's great outdoors. 00:04:19.05\00:04:21.96 Welcome to learning time. Thanks for joining us today. 00:05:11.96\00:05:14.54 You know, we've got an interesting lesson 00:05:14.57\00:05:16.29 and you can do this at home. 00:05:16.32\00:05:18.27 I love things that you could do at home. 00:05:18.30\00:05:20.08 You all like to do experiments at home? 00:05:20.11\00:05:21.86 Yeah. Oh! Great, and I've got three helpers 00:05:21.89\00:05:24.88 I have Macy over here. Macy, what's one of 00:05:24.91\00:05:27.34 your most favorite foods? Vegetables. 00:05:27.37\00:05:30.61 You like vegetables. Oh! Vegetables are good for us, 00:05:30.64\00:05:32.63 aren't they? Yeah, very good. I've got Danielle 00:05:32.66\00:05:35.19 over here. Danielle, do you have a favorite food 00:05:35.22\00:05:37.14 that you like? Corn. Corn, you know corn's. 00:05:37.17\00:05:40.01 It's healthy for us, isn't it? Oh! You can fix corn in 00:05:40.04\00:05:42.96 so many different ways. I've got Tiara up here. 00:05:42.99\00:05:45.65 Tiara, what you like to eat the most? Apples. 00:05:45.68\00:05:49.23 Apples, you know apples are great for us, 00:05:49.26\00:05:51.10 aren't they? Yeah, an apple day is supposed do what? 00:05:51.13\00:05:53.70 Keep the doctor away. Oh! That's right. 00:05:53.73\00:05:56.25 Oh! Hey, what where do I get, 00:05:56.28\00:05:57.25 I have my helpers up here, come on up here 00:05:57.26\00:05:58.88 and help us to learn something. 00:05:58.91\00:06:00.42 Now we've got some, what are these things up 00:06:00.45\00:06:03.22 here guys? What are these things? Cans. 00:06:03.25\00:06:06.10 They're cans, that's right. You know, and guess 00:06:06.13\00:06:07.51 where I found these? In the trash can. 00:06:07.54\00:06:09.47 That's right. In the trash, do you throw cans away 00:06:09.50\00:06:11.41 like this when you are at home? No. 00:06:11.44\00:06:13.33 No, we should do what?. Recycle. 00:06:13.36\00:06:16.20 Recycle. Well, you know, I'm gonna show a very 00:06:16.23\00:06:17.98 interesting experiment. Do you know, 00:06:18.01\00:06:19.38 do you know that these cans can scream? They will? 00:06:19.41\00:06:22.83 Have you ever heard a can scream? No. 00:06:22.86\00:06:25.27 Oh! Well, you're just about ready to hear a can scream. 00:06:25.30\00:06:28.66 Now you can do this at home to try to annoy your 00:06:28.69\00:06:30.94 friends and family. Yeah, be kind of cool wouldn't it? 00:06:30.97\00:06:33.35 Okay, so we got a straw. Why don't you get, 00:06:33.38\00:06:35.09 grab your straw. You got a straw, okay, 00:06:35.12\00:06:37.27 and what are we gonna do? Oh! Let's take the 00:06:37.30\00:06:42.16 wrappers off of the straw. It's not a bad idea to do 00:06:42.19\00:06:45.09 that, okay, not a bad idea. Okay, let's take that 00:06:45.12\00:06:50.49 straw, okay, I will take the wrappers, okay, cool. 00:06:50.52\00:06:53.84 You clean up after yourself? Yes. 00:06:53.87\00:06:56.66 I am glad to hear that because if you make a 00:06:56.69\00:06:58.83 mess who should clean it up? You should. 00:06:58.86\00:07:01.67 That's right. Alright, are you ready to do this? 00:07:01.70\00:07:04.01 Okay, now what I want you to do is I want you 00:07:04.04\00:07:05.50 to get your cans in front of you just like that, 00:07:05.53\00:07:07.69 okay, and you can put one hand to keep them 00:07:07.72\00:07:09.96 together right on top, just like that and take the 00:07:09.99\00:07:12.66 straw and put the straw right in your mouth. 00:07:12.69\00:07:15.15 Can you put your straw in your mouth? 00:07:15.18\00:07:16.37 Okay, alright, now get down kind of low 00:07:16.98\00:07:18.87 and we want you to blow real hard, 00:07:18.90\00:07:21.35 can you get down lower then, go just like that, 00:07:21.38\00:07:23.28 put the straw right between those, 00:07:23.31\00:07:25.57 almost between, but not quite, and blow as hard 00:07:25.60\00:07:28.56 as you can in between those two cans and they 00:07:28.59\00:07:30.73 ought to scream. Are they screaming? 00:07:30.76\00:07:34.51 Are they screaming? No, they're not screaming. 00:07:34.54\00:07:39.39 Well, you know, maybe we ought to try something 00:07:39.42\00:07:41.20 different. Maybe we need to blow harder. 00:07:41.23\00:07:42.95 Why don't you try harder. Oh! Did you hear that? 00:07:42.98\00:07:46.78 Yes. Try it again, hard as you can. 00:07:46.81\00:07:50.64 Oh! Did you hear that one? Yeah. 00:07:51.23\00:07:53.67 Did you hear that straw and that cans? 00:07:53.70\00:07:56.37 That is oh! Oh! Okay, and they're screaming, 00:07:57.28\00:08:01.78 aren't they? Yes. And they're making a sound 00:08:01.81\00:08:05.02 aren't they? Okay, you can stop, you can stop. 00:08:05.05\00:08:07.28 Okay, do you suppose is happening what we're 00:08:07.31\00:08:11.28 doing the air goes past, air goes right past that 00:08:11.31\00:08:14.73 can in fact it goes right in between the cans just 00:08:14.76\00:08:17.25 like this and it vibrates the can and since that 00:08:17.28\00:08:20.52 can is vibrating so quickly it puts a vibration in the 00:08:20.55\00:08:24.03 air and it screams and we hear that as sound. 00:08:24.06\00:08:26.45 Isn't that cool? Yes. 00:08:26.48\00:08:27.93 If you blow really, really hard it will scream louder. 00:08:29.08\00:08:32.20 You want to hear it even louder than that. Yes. 00:08:32.23\00:08:35.71 Okay, can I try? I am going to use her cans 00:08:35.74\00:08:38.31 right here. Now remember all you have to do just 00:08:38.34\00:08:40.55 hold the cans like they so won't move 00:08:40.58\00:08:42.46 because you're going to be blasting the air right 00:08:42.49\00:08:44.60 through them. Let's see if I can make loud. 00:08:44.63\00:08:46.56 Are you ready? Yeah. 00:08:46.59\00:08:47.63 You might want to cover your ears, I don't know, 00:08:47.66\00:08:49.40 let's try this. Here we go. Wow! Try again. 00:08:49.43\00:08:55.77 Isn't that cool. Yeah. Wow! Would you like to 00:08:58.73\00:09:04.48 try that at home? Yeah. 00:09:04.51\00:09:07.17 Oh! That would be fun, wouldn't it? Yeah, 00:09:07.20\00:09:09.23 you know we can get things to vibrate 00:09:09.26\00:09:10.98 and when those vibrations that vibration travels 00:09:11.01\00:09:13.84 in the air and then what picks up the vibration. 00:09:13.87\00:09:16.22 Our ears. Our ears, and then our brain interprets 00:09:16.25\00:09:20.24 that as sound. Do you like that kind of sound? Yes. 00:09:20.27\00:09:23.71 Oh yeah, it's noise isn't it? It's not music but 00:09:23.74\00:09:26.68 that's very interesting. You can take objects that 00:09:26.71\00:09:28.75 you just might find around the house or maybe 00:09:28.78\00:09:31.35 in the trash, right, but remember recycle those 00:09:31.38\00:09:34.01 if you can. And we can make a musical instrument, 00:09:34.04\00:09:36.29 is this a musical instrument? No. 00:09:36.32\00:09:39.19 Really not music, is it? But it sure is an 00:09:39.22\00:09:41.90 interesting sound, isn't it? Oh! I think so 00:09:41.93\00:09:45.03 and you know, I think that we need to listen 00:09:45.06\00:09:46.97 to sounds that are pleasant. Is this a pleasant sound? 00:09:47.00\00:09:50.19 No. Would you like to hear that all day long? No. 00:09:50.22\00:09:54.15 I would like to hear more pleasant sounds like 00:09:54.18\00:09:56.03 somebody's voice or maybe singing, right, or music 00:09:56.06\00:09:58.94 or maybe a musical instrument. 00:09:58.97\00:10:00.65 And those are really pleasant sounds, 00:10:00.68\00:10:02.28 isn't that great? Yeah. 00:10:02.31\00:10:04.35 And you know, boys and girls every time we talk 00:10:04.38\00:10:06.38 to Jesus and we meditate, you know, 00:10:06.41\00:10:08.06 I think those are pleasant sounds that he likes to 00:10:08.09\00:10:10.42 hear. He wants to hear from us, doesn't he? Yes. 00:10:10.45\00:10:13.57 I think so too. Well, remember boys and girls 00:10:13.60\00:10:16.09 whenever we learn more about science 00:10:16.12\00:10:18.53 we're learning more about our creator God. 00:10:18.56\00:10:23.50 Hi, how are you? Good. Joel, can you come 00:10:34.08\00:10:37.47 and help this customer, please? 00:10:37.50\00:10:39.66 He'll get you whatever you need? 00:10:39.69\00:10:41.87 Bread, fresh bread. Hi, how are you? 00:10:47.72\00:10:51.40 Good. You need some bread? Can I help you, 00:10:51.43\00:10:55.64 right over here. We'll give you what you need. 00:10:55.67\00:10:57.66 Thank you sir. My kind, 00:12:16.49\00:12:18.74 what is my kind ma'am? Please explain 00:12:18.77\00:12:20.69 to me about my kind? We're a close knit neighborhood. 00:12:32.20\00:12:34.84 We're family around here. So you hurt 00:12:34.87\00:12:36.88 one you hurt us all. This sounds personal ma'am. 00:12:36.91\00:12:39.68 This sounds like a personal issue. 00:12:39.71\00:12:41.42 Is there someone you're referring to that I've hurt. 00:12:41.45\00:12:44.15 I mean they're lots of people that I do business with. 00:12:44.18\00:12:45.95 I'm in the business of loaning money, 00:12:45.98\00:12:47.59 so of course, so is there someone you're specifically 00:12:47.62\00:12:50.06 referring to? Listen, I have a really, 00:12:50.09\00:12:53.59 really good friend and she went through a lot 00:12:53.62\00:12:56.60 and her life was kind of upside down 00:12:56.63\00:12:58.68 and a lot of that had to be with you 00:12:58.71\00:13:00.28 and so I mean I'm sorry if I am not as kind as you 00:13:00.31\00:13:04.40 wanted or as friendly as you expected, 00:13:04.43\00:13:07.30 but it's really important to me and it saddens me 00:13:07.33\00:13:10.35 every time I think about what she had to go 00:13:10.38\00:13:13.19 through. What did she? At the hands of you. 00:13:13.22\00:13:15.10 What did she go through at the hands of me? 00:13:15.13\00:13:17.17 Sir, you may not know this but my friend 00:13:18.37\00:13:21.76 she lost her husband. A poor widow, 00:13:21.79\00:13:24.97 sad with her husband dying and not knowing what to 00:13:26.82\00:13:29.99 do, left to raise two sons by herself. 00:13:30.02\00:13:33.06 Left raising boys with no money, 00:13:34.17\00:13:35.65 not knowing how she is going to survive, 00:13:35.68\00:13:37.47 not knowing what she is going to do next and. 00:13:37.50\00:13:39.40 Oh! So her husband owed me money, 00:13:40.13\00:13:42.76 is that what you're saying? Yeah. Her husband owed 00:13:42.79\00:13:45.09 you money and you came to her right after his dead 00:13:45.12\00:13:48.86 demanding that she paid you that money back. 00:13:48.89\00:13:51.88 Because, you would never loan money to a woman, 00:13:52.48\00:13:53.93 so we must have gone to the husband, 00:13:53.96\00:13:54.93 so you are saying I owe this, this woman owes 00:13:54.94\00:13:56.84 me money and I demanded her to pay me back. 00:13:56.87\00:13:59.19 Yes. Is that not just business ma'am? No. 00:13:59.22\00:14:01.27 What is wrong with that concept? 00:14:01.30\00:14:02.68 Yeah, you know, despite all those things that, 00:14:04.61\00:14:07.55 that you might have done that. 00:14:07.58\00:14:08.97 Your intention was not for God. 00:14:09.00\00:14:11.39 God had a wonderful plan in stored anyway. 00:14:11.42\00:14:14.92 You know, he just works like that sometimes. 00:14:14.95\00:14:17.33 All I want to do is just conduct business. 00:14:18.62\00:14:20.58 I try to figure out what did I do to hurt this 00:14:20.61\00:14:24.27 friend so badly, it was just about business. 00:14:24.30\00:14:26.68 Let me tell me the story. You know, my friend, 00:14:27.58\00:14:31.47 she's always been a bit of a sensitive, 00:14:31.50\00:14:34.33 sensitive woman, very family friendly she loved 00:14:34.36\00:14:37.29 her husband, bless his soul and she loves her 00:14:37.32\00:14:40.69 two boys more than anything in this world 00:14:40.72\00:14:42.93 and when you came to her and you demanded 00:14:43.81\00:14:46.89 that she pay back the money that her husband 00:14:46.92\00:14:49.21 owed or you were gonna her boys as slaves to her 00:14:49.24\00:14:52.38 that was like the end of the world. 00:14:52.41\00:14:53.92 You couldn't have said anything worse than that. 00:14:53.95\00:14:56.15 I know who this friend is. And my friend, 00:14:56.18\00:14:59.15 she was so devastated, she came to me and said 00:14:59.18\00:15:02.15 what am I going to do. Well, there she was 00:15:02.18\00:15:04.34 quickly reminded that her husband served the 00:15:04.37\00:15:07.25 prophet Elijah, and that he would always tell her 00:15:07.28\00:15:10.03 that God performed miracles, 00:15:10.06\00:15:12.27 if you needed them all you had to do was ask God. 00:15:12.30\00:15:15.63 So she figured well, since he is a man of 00:15:15.66\00:15:17.68 encouragement I will go to him and see 00:15:17.71\00:15:19.63 what he has to say. I've heard of 00:15:19.66\00:15:20.86 this Elisha, this prophet. I have heard of him. 00:15:20.89\00:15:22.81 Oh! Yeah, And since you when you hear about him, 00:15:22.84\00:15:24.76 he is a very wise man. So she went to Prophet Elijah 00:15:24.79\00:15:28.71 and she said to him what I am to do this creditor, 00:15:28.74\00:15:32.10 that would be yourself, wanted to take money 00:15:32.13\00:15:35.21 from me and I don't have anything to pay, 00:15:35.24\00:15:37.34 so he is going to take my sons. 00:15:37.37\00:15:39.60 Prophet Elijah said to her, he said, here is 00:15:40.87\00:15:43.95 what I want you to do. I want you to go to all 00:15:43.98\00:15:46.93 the people you know and collect as many jars 00:15:46.96\00:15:50.34 that you have, collect as many jars to see 00:15:50.37\00:15:53.50 what they have. So, she came looking for jars 00:15:53.53\00:15:55.99 so she can put in her house but she was asking 00:15:56.02\00:15:59.32 me do I have any jars and I was saying for what? 00:15:59.35\00:16:01.41 And she was saying she didn't even know why? 00:16:01.44\00:16:03.28 People thought she was a crazy woman. 00:16:03.31\00:16:05.55 Sounds like one. Well, turns out she was a very smart 00:16:05.58\00:16:08.93 woman because she did exactly 00:16:08.96\00:16:10.87 what he told her to do. She took all those jars, 00:16:10.90\00:16:13.66 cases of jars. When back to her house 00:16:13.69\00:16:16.50 and he said now take this little bit of oil that 00:16:16.53\00:16:19.31 you have in your container and I want you 00:16:19.34\00:16:21.69 to fill those jars of oil. Wait, she was going to 00:16:21.72\00:16:25.06 take a little bit of oil and fill the jars. 00:16:25.09\00:16:28.08 A little bit of oil? A little bit of oil. 00:16:28.11\00:16:31.04 And fill large jars! And she filled jars. 00:16:31.07\00:16:33.46 That's lunacy. No much more oil than that 00:16:33.49\00:16:36.49 and she filled these jars and every time 00:16:36.52\00:16:38.63 she finished she looked down and there was 00:16:38.66\00:16:41.13 still oil in the jar. She was amazed, 00:16:41.16\00:16:43.94 her sons were excited and they were excited 00:16:43.97\00:16:47.08 that God was performing a miracle, 00:16:47.11\00:16:48.99 she didn't even know how it was possible, 00:16:49.02\00:16:50.81 but it was happening and she filled all these jars. 00:16:50.84\00:16:54.60 She came out and she said I don't know 00:16:55.41\00:16:57.90 how this happened. I don't know what's a place here. 00:16:57.93\00:17:00.63 God has performed miracles right here 00:17:00.66\00:17:02.26 in front of my eyes and the prophet Elijah said, 00:17:02.29\00:17:04.70 now I want you to take these jars and sell them 00:17:04.73\00:17:08.13 to everybody you know. Pay back the 00:17:08.16\00:17:10.63 creditor what he wants and live off the rest. 00:17:10.66\00:17:13.73 Is that how she was able to pay me back? 00:17:13.76\00:17:15.71 I brought three or four myself. 00:17:15.74\00:17:17.65 Go on, go on, go on tell me more. 00:17:19.71\00:17:20.99 Well, you know, my friend went back to her house, 00:17:21.02\00:17:23.93 she took all these jars, she sold them to everybody, 00:17:24.59\00:17:27.91 she had this left over money. 00:17:27.94\00:17:29.91 She gave you what you asked for. 00:17:29.94\00:17:31.68 Remember that. And from that moment on 00:17:31.71\00:17:34.41 she was a woman of God. Serving our heavenly 00:17:34.44\00:17:38.46 Father, dedicated her life, her sons lives 00:17:38.49\00:17:41.65 to serve him and all that he would ever ask, 00:17:41.68\00:17:44.19 you know. It sounds so powerful. 00:17:44.22\00:17:46.42 This God, this Prophet Elisha, this God. 00:17:46.45\00:17:50.06 He did all this for this woman with a little bit 00:17:51.44\00:17:53.32 of oil. Mr. Creditor you have no idea the power 00:17:53.35\00:17:58.09 of God. You have no idea what he can do with just 00:17:58.12\00:18:01.66 a little we have to offer. I did not even know him. 00:18:01.69\00:18:04.09 And that's sad, but you know it does have to be like 00:18:05.05\00:18:07.92 that. He wants to know you? You don't have to, 00:18:07.95\00:18:11.54 to go and take money from needy people 00:18:11.57\00:18:14.74 that are in need of hope and that are sad 00:18:14.77\00:18:17.58 and don't have anything to the name. 00:18:17.61\00:18:19.16 You don't have to be that man. 00:18:19.19\00:18:21.06 God is ready to have you inside of his heart. 00:18:21.09\00:18:23.71 He is ready to perform miracles, not just for 00:18:23.74\00:18:26.06 my friend. He's singing from a Bible. 00:22:47.04\00:22:50.03 So you got a veggie hot dog bun right here 00:22:50.06\00:22:52.09 with the veggie hotdog and then you've got all kinds 00:22:52.12\00:22:56.69 of little decorations on it and that is so nice, 00:22:56.72\00:22:59.32 so do you help make the snacks too. 00:22:59.35\00:23:01.68 Yes. We pretty much made them ourselves. 00:23:01.71\00:23:04.53 You do. Yeah. And what else, 00:23:05.11\00:23:07.50 how do you get the kids to come to your club? 00:23:07.53\00:23:10.45 We send our invitations to every house. 00:23:10.48\00:23:16.79 Every house that has kids. Okay, let me look your 00:23:16.82\00:23:19.05 paper. So I will just hold it up so boys can see, 00:23:19.08\00:23:21.60 so you have a piece of paper here 00:23:21.63\00:23:23.70 and it basically tells them about the club 00:23:23.73\00:23:25.78 and what's going on and okay. And then you just 00:23:25.81\00:23:29.37 pass it out from door to door. Yes. 00:23:29.40\00:23:31.31 You do and so has there ever been anybody 00:23:31.34\00:23:36.24 show up or? Yes, there has been. 00:23:36.27\00:23:38.53 So you just have the club with you, 00:23:38.56\00:23:40.45 the two of guys that day. 00:23:40.48\00:23:42.01 Sometimes kids will come; sometimes they don't get 00:23:43.57\00:23:45.69 the invitations 'cause they don't read them. 00:23:45.72\00:23:48.42 But we could still do it even if they don't come. 00:23:48.45\00:23:51.01 Okay. Yeah, we can do it ourselves. 00:23:51.04\00:23:52.33 But it's a wonderful way to witness isn't it? 00:23:52.93\00:23:54.67 It is? And so what kind of songs you sing 00:23:54.70\00:23:57.50 and you said you pray, you have Bible stories. 00:23:57.53\00:23:59.43 Yes, we have Bible stories. 00:23:59.46\00:24:01.02 We sing things like the Sea of Galilee, 00:24:01.05\00:24:04.44 we sing Father Abraham and sometimes we sing Jesus 00:24:05.08\00:24:10.30 loves me. Do some of the kids know these songs 00:24:10.33\00:24:12.74 or you teaching them? Yes, yes, we're teaching them. 00:24:12.77\00:24:15.38 Some of them we teach. They don't know the songs. 00:24:15.41\00:24:18.43 The little girl that you saw in that picture, 00:24:18.46\00:24:21.33 she does not Father Abraham. 00:24:21.36\00:24:22.63 She doesn't it a lot because she is 3 so. 00:24:22.66\00:24:26.40 Right, so you have to help her. 00:24:26.43\00:24:28.14 Yes, we have to help her. So this is, how did you 00:24:28.17\00:24:31.64 come up with this idea? I think it's a 00:24:31.67\00:24:32.92 fabulous idea. Don't you boys and girls? 00:24:32.95\00:24:34.71 I was, well I was going to go outside 00:24:35.12\00:24:38.80 and I was going to ask my dad if I could skate 00:24:38.83\00:24:41.47 and as I was going to do it, I got this idea 00:24:41.50\00:24:45.62 and I asked mom would it be okay if we had a 00:24:45.65\00:24:49.80 Bible club. Well, that and I think the Holy Spirit 00:24:49.83\00:24:53.34 gave you that idea. Don't you think? 00:24:53.37\00:24:54.76 Yes, I think so. I want to thank you so much 00:24:54.79\00:24:57.75 for sharing that. I think we have time read couple 00:24:57.78\00:25:00.50 of letters real quick. I have one email that 00:25:00.53\00:25:02.53 I just received. Dear Miss Brenda, received my Bible 00:25:02.56\00:25:05.29 and certificate for my just concluded Bible lessons 00:25:05.32\00:25:08.24 yesterday and they arrived in good condition 00:25:08.27\00:25:10.48 and I love my Bible, it's so beautiful and I love the 00:25:10.51\00:25:14.00 study portion in it. I've never had a Bible like this 00:25:14.03\00:25:17.44 and it says I started observing the Sabbath 00:25:17.47\00:25:19.94 and sharing to the rest of my family but they are not 00:25:19.97\00:25:22.64 responsive to the gospel as I am the only one for 00:25:22.67\00:25:26.53 now at least that's keeping Seventh-Day 00:25:26.56\00:25:28.55 Sabbath of the Lord. My consolation is that 00:25:28.58\00:25:31.03 Jesus came to, seek and save the lost 00:25:31.06\00:25:33.41 and so I'm going to keep praying for my family 00:25:33.44\00:25:35.41 and step out in faith and that my family 00:25:35.44\00:25:37.72 will learn of Jesus too. And a special things to 00:25:37.75\00:25:40.88 your mom, grandma Micheff for checking all my 00:25:40.91\00:25:44.39 answer sheets and sending my lessons faithfully. 00:25:44.42\00:25:46.67 Thank you so much and I'm grateful for these 00:25:46.70\00:25:48.86 wonderful lessons. So thankful in Christ, 00:25:48.89\00:25:51.65 Anna Lee. And she is from the Philippines in Manila, 00:25:51.68\00:25:56.06 and I want to thank you for that letter. 00:25:56.09\00:25:57.84 I'm so glad you received your Bible lessons. 00:25:57.87\00:26:00.37 You know, boys and girls I want to encourage you to 00:26:00.40\00:26:02.42 sign up for Kids Club just write me at: 00:26:02.45\00:26:04.50 kidstime@3abn.org and tell me you want to join. 00:26:04.53\00:26:07.37 Emma and Colin, thank you so much for sharing 00:26:07.40\00:26:09.62 what you do every day to witness for Jesus. 00:26:09.65\00:26:12.77 Remember boys and girls, that anywhere you go, 00:26:12.80\00:26:15.50 whatever you do, its kids time to share Jesus. 00:26:15.53\00:26:20.59
