00:01 It's almost time for Kids Time,
00:03 we're gonna be late.
00:04 It's time to share there's a world out there,
00:08 Looking for a friend like Jesus.
00:11 It's time to share there's a world out there;
00:16 let's tell them that He loves us so.
00:19 Let's tell them that He loves us so.
00:24 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time.
00:30 Hi, boys and girls. You know,
00:32 I do a lot of traveling and that means I spend
00:35 a lot of nights in hotel rooms and at the end
00:37 of a long day of travel you know I'm so glad
00:41 to crawl up into my hotel bed and rest my head
00:44 on the soft clean pillow. Usually I call ahead
00:47 and make reservation, so I know that a room
00:49 will be waiting for me, when I get there.
00:51 Because, do you know what can happen,
00:53 if I don't, I might end up with no where to sleep
00:56 and that's no fun at all, but that's exactly
01:00 what happened to the people in our
01:01 Bible story today. Back then there was no way
01:05 to call ahead and make reservations.
01:07 Oh! How tired they must have been when they
01:09 finally reached the destination and discovered
01:12 that every room in town was already taken.
01:16 What could they do? Would anyone help them
01:18 and get them a place to sleep?
01:20 Oh! I'm not gonna give away anymore of the story.
01:23 You have to wait and see what happened.
01:25 In the meantime, let's get ready for Nature Time.
01:34 Hi, boys and girls. This is Ranger Jim.
01:36 And I'm Ranger Rod. Welcome to Nature Time.
01:39 Ranger Rod, what is this, we have here.
01:42 Well behind us here we have a pronghorn antelope.
01:45 He is the fastest North American mammal.
01:47 Fast, how fast? Well, up to 70 mile an hour.
01:50 That fast. He can run 45 mile an hour for some
01:53 distance, 30 mile an hour for 15 miles straight.
01:57 Amazing, now there are prairie creatures
01:59 and as we've talked before that God gave
02:02 every creature a means of defense,
02:04 it, it might be horns, it might be claws
02:07 and teeth for fighting and whatever,
02:09 but he gave the antelope speed.
02:11 Speed and eyes are in fact amazingly enough.
02:14 The antelope his eye site is so good
02:16 that he can see movement up to 4 miles away.
02:20 That means, it's very difficult for hunters
02:22 to catch it. That's right. But the downfall of the
02:25 antelope is that, that it's a very curious
02:27 mammal and so often times what hunters
02:29 will do is they wave a flag, a white flag
02:32 if we had a white flag here, we could wave it.
02:34 And if had the time, we could probably look
02:37 some of these antelope up to very,
02:39 very close range, because they are so curious
02:41 while they will run away at 45 mile per hour,
02:44 they will return out of curiosity back
02:47 to the source where they ran from.
02:49 And there is a lesson for boys and girls
02:51 out of curiosity, someone may say,
02:53 Oh! Try this, you will like it.
02:56 Have you ever heard that?
02:58 My young friend be careful you see what
03:00 happens to the antelope, he has plenty
03:02 of equipment to flee from danger, but have the
03:04 curiosity to comeback. Tell me,
03:06 do they shed their horns, I hear they have horns.
03:08 They do. Well, animals don't shed
03:09 their horns, cows don't shed horns.
03:11 That's what makes the antelope an amazing
03:13 creature in fact these has own species
03:15 because the antelope actually does each year
03:17 shed his horn. The only other herbivores
03:21 or the only other ruminants that shed their,
03:22 their horns is actually an antler within
03:25 the deer family, but the antelope sheds that,
03:28 that, that surface of his horn every year.
03:31 But it's a horn is fasten into the skull itself
03:34 but it's just the outer part that it sheds.
03:36 Yes sir that's right. Now, okay, even I know,
03:38 yak and deer and all kind they share,
03:40 they share their antlers,
03:42 but this actually has horn. What do,
03:43 what do these creatures like to eat?
03:45 Well, as you can see here there these,
03:47 they typically spend their time on the prairies,
03:49 open prairies, they eat a,
03:50 a drought-resistant bunchgrass. And there is
03:53 a lot of there here on the national bison range
03:55 here in Western Montana for these
03:57 antelope that are out here right now.
03:59 Well, what do they do in the winter time,
04:00 when there is snow Rod, Ranger Rod,
04:01 how do they get to this?
04:03 Typically they'll choose the areas that have very
04:05 limited amount of snow not a lot of snow
04:07 where the antelope spends his winter time.
04:09 And they, they rely on these open areas,
04:12 where the wind blows across here and cleans
04:14 the snow off, they can dig down a little bit,
04:16 they've got a, a hoof that they can dig down,
04:18 they can get to these grasses, they browse on,
04:20 on the buds and some of the brush and,
04:23 and the sage brush and so forth.
04:25 I'll tell you, and, and of course they know,
04:27 every spot well around of the wind,
04:28 they go on the other side of the
04:29 hill away from the wind and.
04:31 That's right, Ranger Jim and what they have
04:33 boys and girls, these creatures have hallow
04:36 hair they can go out in the coldest night
04:38 and lay down in the cold snow just freezing
04:42 can be well below zero and spend the
04:44 whole night there and what happen when they get up,
04:46 there is an even melted snow,
04:48 they are so well insulated.
04:50 God insulted them so well; they don't lose
04:52 any heat they tuck their nose down
04:53 behind their feet and the wind blows,
04:56 they don't lose body heat. So, what a
04:58 wonderful creature? So amazing thing.
05:00 What a wonderful creature?
05:01 It's just been an opportunity
05:02 for us to come and see the antelope
05:04 that are some out here just grassing peacefully
05:06 some are better down for the day
05:07 and what have you. And perhaps in the group,
05:09 there is babies, they have the babies and in
05:12 the fall we would see the bib buck with their horns.
05:14 That's right, that's right.
05:15 So, boys and girls that's the story
05:17 of the antelope. And this is Ranger Jim,
05:19 and Ranger Rod saying don't forget to tell Jesus
05:22 that you're love him because he really does love you.
05:37 Let's talk about Jesus; the King of kings is He,
05:44 The Lord of lords, supreme, throughout eternity
05:50 The Great I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Door
05:56 Let's talk about Jesus more and more!
06:02 Oh my loving brother, When the world's on fire,
06:08 Don't you want God's bosom To be your pillow?
06:14 Hide me over in the Rock of Ages:
06:20 "Rock of Ages, cleft for me."
06:34 Welcome to Learning Time.
06:36 Hey, thanks for joining us today.
06:38 We have got a very special exciting experiment
06:41 to do and I've got three helpers.
06:43 And I've got Justin over there,
06:45 Justin, have you ever seen a rocket blaster?
06:49 Yeah. Yeah, Oh! That's exciting isn't it?
06:51 Well, today we're gonna make some rockets.
06:53 I've got Trendy over here, Trendy have you ever seen
06:56 a rocket launch? Yes, on TV. On TV,
07:00 I have too. I love to watch them on TV.
07:02 And Denay, Denay have you ever made a rocket?
07:06 Yep. Yeah, Oh! Great because we're gonna
07:08 make some rockets today.
07:09 I'm gonna get on my helpers to comeback
07:11 over here behind the table.
07:13 And you know since we are gonna make
07:14 some rockets today we got to protect
07:16 our eyes so make sure that,
07:17 if you ever doing an experiment where you're
07:20 eyes could be injured you got to protect them
07:23 so go ahead and put those safety glasses on.
07:25 Now today we are going to show you
07:27 something that you can actually do at home
07:28 and this is really exciting;
07:30 you might need a little help.
07:31 So, what we're gonna use is, we're gonna
07:32 use these little film containers.
07:34 Now with digital cameras it's hard to find these,
07:37 but you can find them if you know where to look.
07:38 And it has to be the kind of a film container
07:41 that has a lid that snaps on tight,
07:44 right because we got to build up pressure
07:45 so our rocket will blast up.
07:47 So, here is our rocket film containers
07:50 and then we have these little,
07:52 these are effervescent tablets like you know
07:55 to get rid of headaches and some on your stomach
07:57 and they make little bubbles, when we put
07:59 them in water. And what they do is,
08:00 they create a lot of carbon dioxide and that makes
08:03 pressure and that's our fuel to launch our rockets.
08:07 Are you, are we ready to do this.
08:09 Yep, yeah. Okay, alright, so let's start our way
08:11 here with Justin, Justin go ahead and pour
08:13 about a third or half cup of water or just a film
08:17 container full of water, just about there, okay,
08:21 you're there, Amen. Okay. Okay, that's perfect.
08:23 Alright and then I'm gonna have Justin
08:25 use one whole tablet a whole tablet that's gonna
08:28 be our fuel, and that tablet is going to turn
08:31 into bunch of the bubbles, carbon dioxide bubbles
08:33 and build pressure and he is gonna put the lid on
08:36 and we're gonna blast up.
08:38 Are you ready Justin? Yes. Okay now wait a minute,
08:40 hey, let's give him a countdown 3, 2, 1.
08:42 Here we go, 3 and 2 and 1 put it in there snap
08:47 the lid on and step back here and now we're gonna
08:50 have blast off for a while we might get a little wet,
08:52 is that okay? Yeah. Yeah that's okay,
08:54 I love, wow, yeah. Did you see that?
08:58 Boom Oh! Trendy are you ready for yours?
09:02 Now, we're gonna have Trendy put some water
09:04 in her little film container, but this time
09:07 we're gonna change something.
09:08 You know, if you're doing a science experiment,
09:10 you can change things. You know,
09:12 if we change just one thing that becomes a variable,
09:15 so let's make the, the amount of that little
09:18 tablet the variable. She is gonna break it in half
09:20 and put only one half in. Okay, right.
09:24 So, let's give her a countdown, here we go
09:26 3, 2, 1 put in there snap the cap on
09:30 and blast off here, is it gonna go higher
09:33 or not as high. Do we have more fuel
09:35 or less fuel or is it gonna work. Wow!
09:40 It would hurt too, good job, yes, okay and Denay,
09:43 we've got this one set up for Denay,
09:45 she is gonna pour water in her little
09:47 film container, but this time she is gonna
09:49 do something different than all the other two.
09:51 I'm gonna have her take that little tablet.
09:54 I'm gonna have her break it up into like four pieces,
09:58 okay, so we're gonna get smaller pieces,
10:00 but there is more surface area and we just might
10:04 get out bigger explosion, I don't know,
10:06 how are we doing? That's kind of hard to break,
10:08 isn't it? Yeah. Let's give her a countdown
10:10 and she is going to take that and are we ready
10:14 3 and 2 and 1 all four pieces in,
10:18 the top is going to be snap right on there
10:21 and are we, is it gonna go. I don't know,
10:24 Oh! Wow! Do you remember well hey let me ask you
10:28 a question, which one do you think went up higher?
10:32 That. Well you know, you can have fun
10:34 with this at home too. You can vary the amount
10:37 of the tablet that you put in,
10:38 you could vary the amount of water you put in
10:41 and have lots of fun. But we need power,
10:44 don't we? In order to make a rocket go up
10:46 and that's' really, really exciting.
10:48 Hey, I hope that you'll try this at home
10:51 it's an interesting experiment and if you
10:54 need some help, hey get some adults to help you,
10:56 but protect your eyes, right?
10:58 I wouldn't want that little cap to go up
11:00 and hit my eye, not a good idea.
11:02 Well remember boys and girls,
11:03 whenever we learn more about science,
11:06 we learn more about our creator God.
11:15 Hi, boys and girls. And welcome to Talk Time.
11:18 I'm here with our Kids Time Pastor,
11:20 Pastor Ronald's. Hi, Pastor. Hi, Ms. Brenda.
11:22 You know, I, I absolutely love opening the letters,
11:26 I get lots and lots of mail,
11:27 you get lots and lots of mail, we do.
11:28 And kids have lot of questions, don't they?
11:30 They certainly do.
11:31 Well, I know, we have limited time,
11:32 so I'm gonna get right to it, right?
11:34 Let's do that. Let me just pull one
11:35 of the question out of our basket here
11:37 and let's see what our first question is.
11:40 This first man does not have, Oh! Yes, it does
11:42 have a name right up here it's from Jessica.
11:44 Jessica. And she says, is it hard being a Pastor?
11:47 And she has got two questions and what happens
11:50 when someone dies? Interesting, ha!
11:52 Very interesting combination Jessica,
11:55 I hope there is no relationship between
11:57 hard being a Pastor in life and death.
12:00 But you know, I, Jessica, I'd like to say to you today
12:03 that being a Pastor, I was not always a Pastor
12:05 before that I worked in the construction
12:08 and engineering trade and being a Pastor
12:11 is the most joyful, most pleasant, most pleasing job
12:14 that I've ever done. That does not mean
12:15 it's always easy, there are challenges.
12:17 But I have the assurance that Jesus is with me
12:20 and he helps me to face them.
12:22 And leading people to Jesus as I always say
12:24 is the greatest thing that a person can do.
12:27 The greatest thing. Well, you know, Ms. Brenda's
12:28 father is a Pastor and both of my brothers
12:30 you know are ministers as well.
12:32 And you know anytime we're serving Jesus.
12:36 Think that doesn't mean that everything is going
12:37 all smooth in our life. That's right.
12:39 Because you know, my dad used to always
12:41 say you know my nickname is Bebby,
12:44 he would say Bebby he'd say,
12:45 if everything is going to smooth in your life,
12:47 you're not doing enough for Jesus.
12:48 You don't have the devil worried. That's true.
12:50 So, we wanted to be little hard for you,
12:53 we want you to do a lot for Jesus.
12:54 That's right, we do it for, we do it for all Jesus.
12:57 Well, Jessica has one more question,
12:58 what happens when someone dies?
13:00 You know, the Bible is very plain on that.
13:02 You know, Jesus referred to death as a sleep.
13:04 You know, as he was going to visit Lazarus,
13:06 who was very ill and just about to die
13:09 he said our friend Lazarus sleepeth,
13:11 but I go that I wake him up.
13:13 And then the disciples said, well if he is asleep
13:14 he is fine; then Jesus says, no. He is dead.
13:18 And in a classiest, it tells us that living know
13:20 that they shall die, but the dead know nothing,
13:23 right, when a person dies, they seize to exist.
13:27 The sparks of life that God placed in them,
13:30 his breath of life returns to him
13:31 and their body you know just returns to the dust
13:34 and they seized to exist their,
13:36 their thoughts perished, their love perishes,
13:39 everything perishes and they are in the grave
13:41 waiting for his return.
13:43 And so that you know, it's a popular believe from,
13:46 for many people that when you die;
13:48 you go to heaven. That's true, but that's not true.
13:50 That is not true yes, when you die
13:52 you're in the grave and
13:53 you are waiting for Jesus to comeback.
13:54 Right, that's good. Okay, let's have
13:57 another question. This one is from Anna,
13:59 she is six-year-old and she says
14:01 how old we will be in heaven?
14:06 I think, we all be very young in heaven
14:08 because we're gonna live forever.
14:09 I'm looking forward to a new body
14:11 and I know that my, my, my grandma live
14:13 to be 94-years-old and she had so many aches
14:16 and pains and she'd say, I can't wait
14:18 till Jesus comes. When we get to have it
14:19 I'm not gonna have these old legs anymore.
14:22 That's right. No more pain.
14:23 The young man, yeah the old man will leap
14:25 like a deer, the Bible says, but you know,
14:26 the Bible does give us some wisdom to answer
14:29 that question. Okay. In Zachariah,
14:31 it says, that there will be children playing
14:33 in the streets in heaven.
14:35 And in Malachi chapter 4 Verse 2 it says
14:38 that we shall go forth and grow up as the calves
14:43 of a stall. So you know the Bible is indicating
14:45 that you know there will be children in heaven
14:47 maybe a person maybe, may be 5 or 6-years-old
14:50 like you are Anna, when Jesus comes,
14:52 and you will be changed, you will be transformed,
14:54 but you'll still be I believe to same age.
14:56 She'll get to grow up in Heaven.
14:57 And she will have the greatest privilege that
14:59 Ms. Brenda and I may not have you know we,
15:01 when we get to heaven, we will be the same age
15:03 we are today, but you well maybe a child and
15:05 you'll get the opportunity to grow up in Heaven.
15:08 Oh! That is wonderful. I think we have time
15:11 for another question, let's see here this question
15:13 is from Jacob Bond, he is five-years-old.
15:17 He says why are there too many tornados?
15:22 You know, Jacob, not only our people affected
15:25 by sin, when Adam and Eve sin,
15:27 not only were people affected by sin,
15:28 but the entire earth was affected by sin.
15:31 God never wanted there to be tornados,
15:34 or hurricanes or big storm or anything else.
15:36 No, he never wanted it to be that way,
15:38 he created a perfect earth because sin affected
15:41 the earth, it also affected our weather system.
15:44 And because of that we have weather you know
15:46 weather systems that effect us negatively
15:49 and destroy homes and property you know like
15:51 tornados and hurricanes and that was never
15:54 God's plan it's a result of sin.
15:56 When God recreates the earth,
15:58 he is gonna take care all of those.
16:01 Oh! That's wonderful, unfortunately
16:03 that is all the time we have for Talk Time today,
16:05 but boys and girls, if you have a question
16:07 for Pastor Ronald's, you can mail him to 3ABN,
16:10 or you can email them to us at this address
16:13 kidstime@3abn.org. Because your
16:17 questions are important to us,
16:19 and your questions are important to Jesus.
16:27 They are so good. How are you doing?
16:33 I'm doing really well. How are you doing?
16:35 Good wow and Dean Keeper how is he?
16:38 My father, he is doing great.
16:40 He is doing really wonderful actually
16:43 he sent me here all the way from Bethlehem
16:46 just to buy some things for the Evan.
16:48 The business is doing so great.
16:51 Perhaps he told me that it reminded him
16:54 of a time a long time ago, when the Evan was
16:59 felled no rule in the end. Can you imagine that?
17:04 It is pretty big, exactly, and you can imagine
17:07 no roof. Well, he said, it was a long time ago,
17:11 when Seizure Augustus was in-charge
17:15 and he actually called for senses of all the people
17:19 from all over, how to count to be numbered,
17:23 yeah so everyone had to go to their home town.
17:27 And when they came, he said that there was couple,
17:32 I think the wives name was Mary
17:34 and the father was Joseph, yes that's their name.
17:38 Joseph and Mary Oh! Yes, and she said,
17:42 they were the last to come and so there was
17:45 no room left, but Mary was nine months pregnant.
17:50 Oh! Dear. My dad felt so sorry, he said
17:54 he had to make room for them in the mangle.
17:59 Could you imagine that? And the very night
18:02 they came, Mary gave birth, Oh! Dear.
18:07 Yes, she gave birth to a baby. Wow!
18:10 I can't remember, I think he said,
18:12 the babies name was Jesus. Jesus? Yes, and he said
18:17 the babies name was Jesus and he said some
18:20 shepherds came from nearby in their fields
18:23 because an angel appeared to them. An angel?
18:27 An angel they were so terrified,
18:29 but the angel said, guess what?
18:31 Don't be afraid, I have come to bring good news
18:34 for you and everyone in the world.
18:36 Can you imagine that? Wow! That's the baby,
18:39 but the angels told them that unto you is born
18:43 in the city of David. A child, the savior
18:48 of the world and his name would be Jesus Christ
18:52 our Lord. Jesus? Yes, but I have never heard
18:55 anything about Jesus since then I wonder whatever
18:59 happened to the savior of the world.
19:01 I know, what happened. You? Yes. Are you serious?
19:05 Oh! I can't believe you haven't heard.
19:07 No, I haven't heard anything. It's amazing;
19:10 he has been going from town to town,
19:12 he, he, the same baby Jesus, the same, wow!
19:16 I believe wow! he heals the people that
19:19 are blind. Blind people can see? He makes them see.
19:23 Wow! People that can't walk, can walk again;
19:27 Oh! My God. Isn't that amazing?
19:29 I can't it's a miracle. Yes. Wow!
19:32 And one time you know huge crowds follow him.
19:36 Wow! One time he only had seven loaves,
19:42 five loaves, I'm so sorry. And two fishes
19:45 and he multiplied them and they fed
19:47 the whole crowd. A multitude of people.
19:51 I believe it was five thousand. Wow!

22:40 that you've done where you actually
22:41 have an opportunity to share Jesus.
22:43 Oh! We went to cancer, cancer treatment place
22:46 and we gave away giddy bags
22:48 to the cancer treatment people.
22:50 Oh! That's wonderful and I think you also
22:54 had an opportunity, Venice to share.
22:57 Did you make some pies on this club?
22:59 Yes, you did. And did you have an opportunity
23:01 to share those pies, well tell me about that.

23:39 to have something that you can all do that
23:41 you can learn to be witnesses for Jesus
23:44 everywhere, isn't it? Yes. And what your favorite
23:46 part about being in the club. Sharing Jesus.
23:48 Sharing Jesus, do you like sharing Jesus,

24:07 There is a check in here. This says,
24:09 Dear, Ms. Brenda and it says I love watching
24:13 Tiny Tots for Jesus and Kids Time
24:15 everyday of the week. And I learn a lot
24:17 about Jesus, recently I heard you're saying that
24:19 you needed to do some new programs
24:22 and that you needed money to do that
24:23 for a new studio and cameras
24:25 and I told my mom that we wanted to help you.
24:27 So, here is my donation from all my savings
24:30 in my piggy bank, piggy bank.
24:33 And I will be saving my loose change from
24:36 my parents and I will keep praying for you,
24:38 love Eliana. And Eliana and let's look at,
24:42 I got a picture here.
24:43 I'll just bend it here like this so you can see,
24:45 she has got a wonderful picture there.
24:47 Thank you, Eliana for that wonderful email.
24:50 And this money will help. We are in our new studio,
24:53 but we don't have all the equipment we need
24:56 for our control room and we still need
24:57 a lot of money for that. And so every
25:00 penny you could send me Eliana,
25:02 it will go for our new studio.
25:03 Let's see I have another letter here,
25:06 let's see this is from Tennessee from

25:22 and I am including a picture of me.
25:24 When I was six-years-old you read my letter
25:27 on Kids Time and I was so excited.
25:29 Well, guess what Mia, it's I'm reading
25:31 it again. I want to tell you what
25:33 I did to share Jesus.
25:34 I was at a hospital and I was waiting
25:36 for someone and I was reading a 3ABN pamphlet
25:39 with the schedule in it and this lady came
25:41 sat in down beside me and asked
25:43 what I was reading. I told it that
25:44 I was a Seventh-Day Adventist and this was
25:46 a TV program there. She asked me
25:48 what is the Seventh-Day Adventist
25:49 and I told her what it was.
25:50 And she asked to see the pamphlets,
25:52 she read it, she liked it, and she took
25:54 it home with her. And she decided to get 3ABN.
25:58 I was so glad, I witness to her.
26:00 Thank you, I love God, Mia.
26:02 Mia you were wonderful witness to her.
26:04 Boys and girls let's all be witnesses for Jesus
26:06 everywhere we go. I wanna thank you,
