It's almost time for Kids time, we gonna 00:00:01.98\00:00:03.54 be late. It's time to share there's a world 00:00:03.57\00:00:07.28 out there, looking for a friend like Jesus. It's 00:00:07.31\00:00:12.68 time to share there's a world out there; let's 00:00:12.71\00:00:16.65 tell them that He loves us so. Let's tell 00:00:16.68\00:00:20.90 them that He loves us so. Kids Time, Kids 00:00:20.93\00:00:26.53 Time, Kids Time. Hi, boys and girls 00:00:26.56\00:00:31.70 have you ever sat in a restaurant and 00:00:31.73\00:00:33.65 accidentally overheard the 00:00:33.68\00:00:34.83 conversation at the table next to you. 00:00:34.86\00:00:36.65 Sometimes people say the most interesting 00:00:36.68\00:00:39.18 things when they don't know someone 00:00:39.21\00:00:40.73 else is listening. Listening into 00:00:40.76\00:00:42.90 someone else's conversation when 00:00:42.93\00:00:44.43 they don't know about it is called 00:00:44.46\00:00:45.95 eavesdropping and actually it's not a 00:00:45.98\00:00:47.90 polite thing to do at all, but sometimes 00:00:47.93\00:00:49.90 people talk so loudly you can't help but 00:00:49.93\00:00:52.27 hear what they're saying. My daddy 00:00:52.30\00:00:54.18 always says if you can't say something 00:00:54.21\00:00:56.12 nice then don't say anything at all and 00:00:56.15\00:00:58.68 that's pretty good advice. 00:00:58.71\00:01:00.26 Well, today we're going to do a little 00:01:00.29\00:01:02.18 eavesdropping right here in Kids Time not 00:01:02.21\00:01:04.93 at a restaurant but at the busy market place. 00:01:04.96\00:01:07.63 And this time it's okay to listen, we'll 00:01:07.66\00:01:10.60 hear some men tell how they saw Jesus 00:01:10.63\00:01:12.50 perform miracles and what a difference it 00:01:12.53\00:01:14.61 made in their lives are you ready? Me too, 00:01:14.64\00:01:17.37 hey Max, are you ready? Max is ready. 00:01:17.40\00:01:20.38 Let's get ready for nature time. 00:01:20.41\00:01:23.14 Hi boys and girls, welcome to nature 00:01:27.41\00:01:30.05 time. You know right now we're all here in 00:01:30.08\00:01:32.38 beautiful Western Montana, in fact 00:01:32.41\00:01:34.55 incredibly enough we're in Glacier 00:01:34.58\00:01:36.66 National Park. And we were just coming 00:01:36.69\00:01:38.55 along this beautiful road, looking at the 00:01:38.58\00:01:40.62 gorgeous mountain and the scenery and 00:01:40.65\00:01:42.48 right here at a roadside pool, we 00:01:42.51\00:01:44.97 found one of the most incredible creatures 00:01:45.00\00:01:47.23 that God ever created. And not because he's 00:01:47.26\00:01:50.09 so big, not because he's so little but he is 00:01:50.12\00:01:53.43 so special because he can sleep more than 00:01:53.46\00:01:56.07 half of the year and still wake up in the 00:01:56.10\00:01:58.85 Spring. Oh! He's incredible, he is the 00:01:58.88\00:02:01.69 ground squirrel. Now, there are many, many 00:02:01.72\00:02:03.81 different kinds of ground squirrels in 00:02:03.84\00:02:06.07 North America. Well, one of them 00:02:06.10\00:02:07.91 especially the one that lives here in Glacier 00:02:07.94\00:02:09.98 National Park is especially adopted for 00:02:10.01\00:02:12.50 high elevations and he lives, if you can see 00:02:12.53\00:02:15.02 him out here behind me. He is moving 00:02:15.05\00:02:16.69 around, you might think that because you 00:02:16.72\00:02:18.94 can see snow that, that it's winter time, 00:02:18.97\00:02:21.85 but it's not. This is the middle of the 00:02:21.88\00:02:23.56 summer, this is his little chance to get out 00:02:23.59\00:02:26.60 and get a little grass, they eat grass. They 00:02:26.63\00:02:29.13 eat bugs, they eat little, little branches 00:02:29.16\00:02:32.51 off these low trees, they will eat the buds 00:02:32.54\00:02:35.46 off from the glacier lilies and they try to 00:02:35.49\00:02:38.04 store up some fat. Now, one thing that 00:02:38.07\00:02:41.77 they do is they live underground and so 00:02:41.80\00:02:43.93 they dig their burrow about two feet deep, 00:02:43.96\00:02:46.34 about 15 feet long, they make their little 00:02:46.37\00:02:48.94 nest in there, out of grass and little, little 00:02:48.97\00:02:52.37 sticks things they have taken and there 00:02:52.40\00:02:53.69 they make their nest and they live in that. 00:02:53.72\00:02:55.51 And they sleep in there all winter long. 00:02:55.54\00:02:57.45 Now, one of their predators, one of the 00:02:57.48\00:03:00.43 problems that they have is that they have 00:03:00.46\00:03:01.67 many predators, the badger, the fox, 00:03:01.70\00:03:04.52 hawks, eagles, bears will dig them up and 00:03:04.55\00:03:08.29 so they have to always be on the look 00:03:08.32\00:03:09.57 out. You may have noticed, one of these 00:03:09.60\00:03:11.14 little ground squirrels standing up, they sit 00:03:11.17\00:03:13.36 up on their hind, on their little hind feet 00:03:13.39\00:03:16.13 and they look all around. Now, that's 00:03:16.16\00:03:19.37 not enough defense and so God created 00:03:19.40\00:03:21.87 them so they would live in a family unit. 00:03:21.90\00:03:25.34 Kind of like you live in your family unit 00:03:25.37\00:03:27.12 and they all look out for each other, when 00:03:27.15\00:03:30.28 someone one sees some danger he lets 00:03:30.31\00:03:32.94 out a little chirp and all the rest scurry into 00:03:32.97\00:03:35.47 their holes. Hopefully away from danger, the 00:03:35.50\00:03:38.04 greatest predator though that the little 00:03:38.07\00:03:39.96 ground squirrel has is time, winter. While, 00:03:39.99\00:03:43.72 while he puts on almost twice his body 00:03:43.75\00:03:46.11 weight in fat, some times on a long 00:03:46.14\00:03:48.62 winter, a harsh winter that's not enough to 00:03:48.65\00:03:51.05 get him all the way through and so up to 00:03:51.08\00:03:53.01 93 percent of ground squirrels perish during 00:03:53.04\00:03:56.35 the winter because of the cold and you can 00:03:56.38\00:03:59.62 imagine that up here in Glacier National 00:03:59.65\00:04:01.04 Park. He has to go to bed in mid September 00:04:01.07\00:04:05.18 when the snow starts to cover the ground 00:04:05.21\00:04:06.98 here and he can't wake up and get out 00:04:07.01\00:04:09.20 and find this, the food that he needs until 00:04:09.23\00:04:12.47 often times middle of May. Amazingly it's 00:04:12.50\00:04:15.14 the middle of the summer here and he is 00:04:15.17\00:04:17.23 just now appearing in some of these areas in 00:04:17.26\00:04:19.46 fact this snow here could cover actually 00:04:19.49\00:04:21.87 some of the dens, some of these ground 00:04:21.90\00:04:23.46 squirrels may still be under snow I don't 00:04:23.49\00:04:25.72 know, it's an amazing thing that God has 00:04:25.75\00:04:28.71 created a creature that can survive all the 00:04:28.74\00:04:31.69 way through the winter, how he sleeps, 00:04:31.72\00:04:33.46 how he hibernates, how his heart rate 00:04:33.49\00:04:35.19 slows way down. How his respiration 00:04:35.22\00:04:38.01 his breaths, slow all the way down to 00:04:38.04\00:04:39.91 almost one for six minutes, it's an 00:04:39.94\00:04:42.88 incredible thing. God has created a creature 00:04:42.91\00:04:45.25 to do that. Now, boys and girls if Jesus 00:04:45.28\00:04:47.00 loves these little creatures enough to 00:04:47.03\00:04:48.28 help them through their time of trial, 00:04:48.31\00:04:50.29 through their time of hardship. Don't you 00:04:50.32\00:04:52.70 think that Jesus will take care of you 00:04:52.73\00:04:55.13 during hardships and trails. I believe that he 00:04:55.16\00:04:57.73 will, with all my heart he's helped me many 00:04:57.76\00:04:59.82 times and he will be there for you. Boys 00:04:59.85\00:05:02.07 and girls until next time this is Ranger 00:05:02.10\00:05:03.07 Rod saying let's all enjoy God's great 00:05:04.25\00:05:07.25 outdoors. 00:05:07.28\00:05:08.25 O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder 00:05:21.54\00:05:29.95 consider all the works thy hands have made, 00:05:29.98\00:05:37.49 I see the stars, I hear the roaring thunder, 00:05:37.52\00:05:45.79 thy power throughout the universe displayed. 00:05:45.82\00:05:53.53 [Foreign language] 00:05:53.56\00:06:26.97 Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee, 00:06:27.00\00:06:35.57 How great Thou art, How great Thou art. 00:06:35.60\00:06:44.09 Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to thee, 00:06:44.12\00:06:52.15 How great Thou art, How great Thou art! 00:06:52.18\00:07:02.57 One day their soul run high up the stars. 00:07:02.60\00:07:16.37 Welcome to learning time, I am glad that 00:07:22.94\00:07:24.90 you are here today. You know today we 00:07:24.93\00:07:26.49 are gonna be looking at something that's 00:07:26.52\00:07:28.00 really kind of special, it's something that we 00:07:28.03\00:07:30.03 all have and it is called a sense of 00:07:30.06\00:07:32.97 touch. Can you touch things? Yeah. Oh! 00:07:33.00\00:07:36.06 Yeah me too, but you know wouldn't it be 00:07:36.09\00:07:37.85 interesting instead of touching with our 00:07:37.88\00:07:39.79 hands if, if we had better touch maybe 00:07:39.82\00:07:42.69 with our elbow, would that be 00:07:42.72\00:07:44.15 interesting. Yes. Yeah, then you would 00:07:44.18\00:07:45.69 say feel how smooth that table is, that be 00:07:45.72\00:07:49.12 cool, go around feelings. But you 00:07:49.15\00:07:50.80 know we don't feel things with our 00:07:50.83\00:07:52.38 elbows do we? No. No, well today we 00:07:52.41\00:07:54.39 have got a special experiment and I have 00:07:54.42\00:07:56.84 got three special helpers and let's see 00:07:56.87\00:07:58.77 who they are? I've got Cameron over here. 00:07:58.80\00:08:00.87 Now Cameron, do you like science? 00:08:00.90\00:08:02.42 Yeah. What do you like to do best about 00:08:02.45\00:08:04.28 science? Mechanics. Mechanics, that's 00:08:04.31\00:08:07.33 interesting isn't it. Well thanks for being 00:08:07.36\00:08:09.04 here. And I've got Diane over here and 00:08:09.07\00:08:12.07 Diane, thanks for being with us and 00:08:12.10\00:08:13.85 what you like most about science, what 00:08:13.88\00:08:15.44 do you like to do? Play with the stuff. 00:08:15.47\00:08:19.00 Play with the stuff, do experiments? Do you 00:08:19.03\00:08:21.28 like experiments? Okay, well this today 00:08:21.31\00:08:23.05 is going to be a great experiment you're 00:08:23.08\00:08:24.35 gonna help us and I've got Georgia over 00:08:24.38\00:08:25.94 there. Now, Georgia thanks for being with 00:08:25.97\00:08:28.03 us and what do you like to read most 00:08:28.06\00:08:30.18 about science? When you're reading about 00:08:30.21\00:08:31.93 science stuff? Experiments. Experiments, I love to 00:08:31.96\00:08:34.84 read about experiments. Well, 00:08:34.87\00:08:35.93 why don't you all three come up here 00:08:35.96\00:08:37.23 because we have got some things up here 00:08:37.26\00:08:38.71 on the table and just come behind my table 00:08:38.74\00:08:41.09 and I have got these little things right here, 00:08:41.12\00:08:43.04 what are these? Hair pins. They're hair pins 00:08:43.07\00:08:46.80 or bobby pins, that's right. Now, I don't use 00:08:46.83\00:08:48.67 them but you know we're gonna use these 00:08:48.70\00:08:50.29 now, you can use a paper clip if you 00:08:50.32\00:08:53.80 want, but I like this because they have a 00:08:53.83\00:08:55.65 nice protected point on them. Now, 00:08:55.68\00:08:57.97 Cameron, I want you to put your hand out 00:08:58.00\00:08:59.44 here and your arm out here. And these have 00:08:59.47\00:09:02.65 two points right one, two. You got it, now I 00:09:02.68\00:09:05.84 am going to put this on Cameron's hand 00:09:05.87\00:09:07.52 and I wanted you tell me if two of those 00:09:07.55\00:09:10.03 points are touching your hand or one, 00:09:10.06\00:09:11.79 what do you think? Two. Two, okay, 00:09:11.82\00:09:14.26 that's right they was two points, he can 00:09:14.29\00:09:16.22 feel those because he has receptors in his 00:09:16.25\00:09:18.72 hands to test, to test pressure. Alright, now 00:09:18.75\00:09:22.47 how about that now if I put one of them on 00:09:22.50\00:09:24.85 there, you feel one? Yes. Well we are 00:09:24.88\00:09:28.00 gonna find out there if we can really tell the 00:09:28.03\00:09:29.79 difference between one point or two 00:09:29.82\00:09:32.07 points, and Diana, I want you to do this 00:09:32.10\00:09:34.38 experiment on Georgia and I am 00:09:34.41\00:09:35.99 gonna do this even on Cameron. And 00:09:36.02\00:09:37.86 Cameron you let me know what you can, 00:09:37.89\00:09:39.79 how what you can feel? Now, but you 00:09:39.82\00:09:41.52 have to close your eyes Georgia, okay, 00:09:41.55\00:09:43.04 don't cheat. Cameron ones you close your 00:09:43.07\00:09:44.90 eyes too and lets check this out okay. 00:09:44.93\00:09:47.02 Cameron you let me know how many 00:09:47.05\00:09:48.40 points are touching. You got your eyes 00:09:48.43\00:09:50.40 closed. Okay now this is how many points I 00:09:50.43\00:09:53.07 am going to use, here we go, lets check this 00:09:53.10\00:09:54.35 out. Two. Two and Cameron was right. 00:09:54.38\00:09:57.71 Let's do this again this time I am going to do 00:09:57.74\00:09:59.75 this many points, keep your eyes closed and 00:09:59.78\00:10:02.04 one. One, he was right a hundred percent of 00:10:02.07\00:10:05.93 the time. Now, what I am going to do is I am 00:10:05.96\00:10:07.67 going to go up his arm and as we go up 00:10:07.70\00:10:09.98 our arm we have less pressure, sensitive 00:10:10.01\00:10:12.73 cells and he's gonna get it wrong part of 00:10:12.76\00:10:15.56 the time maybe. Okay, how did she 00:10:15.59\00:10:16.84 do? Oh! We haven't. Oh! Well okay. We'll 00:10:16.87\00:10:19.72 give it a try, okay and you know what, I've 00:10:19.75\00:10:21.85 got a couple of people out here they have 00:10:21.88\00:10:23.59 some bobby pins, why don't you pick 00:10:23.62\00:10:25.04 somebody next to you and check their arm in 00:10:25.07\00:10:27.39 their hand out too. Cameron, are you 00:10:27.42\00:10:29.10 ready? Keep your eyes closed and how 00:10:29.13\00:10:31.22 many points are touching two, two, 00:10:31.25\00:10:33.30 that's exactly right now how many points 00:10:33.33\00:10:35.36 are touching now Cameron. One. One, 00:10:35.39\00:10:38.71 you know what Cameron just missed 00:10:38.74\00:10:40.33 it because I have two points touching and as 00:10:40.36\00:10:43.16 the further up we go on up in our arm the 00:10:43.19\00:10:46.33 less pressure and the less sensitive our arm 00:10:46.36\00:10:50.10 gets. Isn't that interesting, how are 00:10:50.13\00:10:52.21 they doing out there? How is Georgia 00:10:52.24\00:10:54.40 doing, did she miss any? One, she just 00:10:54.43\00:10:56.87 missed one time, did she miss the ones that 00:10:56.90\00:10:59.05 were coming up her arm, yeah because we 00:10:59.08\00:11:01.86 just don't feel things as well as our hands. 00:11:01.89\00:11:04.52 You know when we are, when we are 00:11:04.55\00:11:06.37 really young we have better sense of touch 00:11:06.40\00:11:09.07 and as you get older like me you tend to 00:11:09.10\00:11:11.70 lose some of your sense of touch, did 00:11:11.73\00:11:13.82 you know that? Interesting isn't it, 00:11:13.85\00:11:16.18 well God gave us the pressure sensitive 00:11:16.21\00:11:18.30 cells in our bodies and especially our hands 00:11:18.33\00:11:20.88 because we use our hands everyday to 00:11:20.91\00:11:22.79 pick up things and to make things and you 00:11:22.82\00:11:25.20 know what, sometimes people do 00:11:25.23\00:11:27.32 surgery on us, right, like surgeons and they 00:11:27.35\00:11:29.55 have to do very delicate things with 00:11:29.58\00:11:31.40 their hands. I am glad that God gave us the 00:11:31.43\00:11:34.10 sense of touch. Well, remember boys and 00:11:34.13\00:11:36.93 girls whenever we learn more about 00:11:36.96\00:11:39.30 science, we learn more about our 00:11:39.33\00:11:41.82 creator God. 00:11:41.85\00:11:43.67 So, what's been happening in the 00:11:49.70\00:11:51.11 temple, I've been hearing that there is 00:11:51.14\00:11:52.31 lot of things happening in the temple? You haven't 00:11:52.34\00:11:54.25 heard what happened to the temple. Well, 00:11:54.28\00:11:55.52 not recently. Just as the lot of things, do 00:11:55.55\00:11:57.16 you want the short version or the long 00:11:57.19\00:11:58.63 version? The temple got emptied out 00:11:58.66\00:11:59.86 yesterday, they did not. Tell him what 00:11:59.89\00:12:01.57 happened. Jesus have you heard that name? 00:12:01.60\00:12:04.01 Oh! Yes I know Jesus. Jesus was in the temple and my 00:12:04.04\00:12:08.35 brother and I were in there and all of a 00:12:08.38\00:12:10.43 sudden Zedek, do you know Zedek? Oh I've 00:12:10.46\00:12:12.46 heard about him. Zedek. Good day, 00:12:12.49\00:12:14.85 have a seat, good day, good day, good day to 00:12:14.88\00:12:18.63 you, God bless you. Beautiful day today. 00:12:18.66\00:12:20.48 Yes it is, beautiful day. Nice market, 00:12:20.51\00:12:22.93 nice carrots. Good to see you. Come back 00:12:22.96\00:12:26.97 soon. So anyway get this, Zedek comes 00:12:27.00\00:12:32.39 running through the temple, you know 00:12:32.42\00:12:34.18 what his problem was? Tell him 00:12:34.21\00:12:35.53 Nazareth, well he's been messing around 00:12:35.56\00:12:37.98 with the, I don't like to talk about Satan, 00:12:38.01\00:12:40.74 Satan worship. Oh well, that's a bad thing 00:12:40.77\00:12:43.54 to do. He comes squalling at the top of 00:12:43.57\00:12:46.49 his lungs then he comes right up to 00:12:46.52\00:12:48.64 Jesus, stops right there. Yes Jesus, 00:12:48.67\00:12:52.12 Jesus doesn't blink a eye. Jesus has this 00:12:52.15\00:12:54.68 nice, nice calm expression, he wasn't 00:12:54.71\00:12:57.46 afraid of him? No, never. Wow. I would 00:12:57.49\00:13:00.59 have run, Zedek, Zedek is demon 00:13:00.62\00:13:02.12 possessed, that I know that's why I would 00:13:02.15\00:13:03.99 have run. Not Jesus. Jesus came to cast out 00:13:04.02\00:13:07.37 the demons. And he loves everyone, he 00:13:07.40\00:13:11.27 looked at Zedek and he said come out and 00:13:11.30\00:13:17.60 immediately Zedek falls over him, he fell 00:13:17.63\00:13:20.12 over. We thought he was died right there in 00:13:20.15\00:13:21.82 the temple. Oh he wasn't, he was live, 00:13:21.85\00:13:24.48 Jesus picked him up, his eyes had the eyes 00:13:24.51\00:13:31.51 of a, how would describe his eyes. The 00:13:31.54\00:13:35.21 thing of it is the eyes, the demons were 00:13:35.24\00:13:38.67 gone, he had all of a sudden for the first 00:13:38.70\00:13:41.28 time in his life spiritual sight. Just 00:13:41.31\00:13:43.72 like that, He could see Jesus and who Jesus 00:13:43.75\00:13:46.04 was, he is, that's the son of God. He never 00:13:46.07\00:13:49.60 seen a pharisee, any religious leader do 00:13:49.63\00:13:51.68 this. All they do is maintain the 00:13:51.71\00:13:53.97 traditions, lets keep things the way they 00:13:54.00\00:13:55.88 are, Jesus is just such a breath of fresh air. 00:13:55.91\00:13:58.58 Jesus speaks of love and compassion and 00:13:58.61\00:14:02.03 care and he speaks with authority, 00:14:02.06\00:14:05.36 authority and he speaks love, and he 00:14:05.39\00:14:06.71 has love, I have never heard a pharisee 00:14:06.74\00:14:09.64 speak like this man. What about the 00:14:09.67\00:14:11.13 children, does he love them? Oh the children 00:14:11.16\00:14:13.60 they would come up, sit on his lap, no 00:14:13.63\00:14:16.14 pharisee, good day pharisees, have you 00:14:16.17\00:14:19.86 seen the carrots. Yes, hey, how are doing? 00:14:19.89\00:14:22.29 So do you got carrots at home. Good 00:14:22.32\00:14:25.07 carrots, I love them. Good to see you, 00:14:25.10\00:14:26.98 good to see you, yes have a good day. 00:14:27.01\00:14:28.67 Though I love temperature, nice 00:14:28.70\00:14:31.67 weather too. I never seen one walk so slow 00:14:31.70\00:14:34.26 in my life. I'm anxious to hear what 00:14:34.29\00:14:38.41 happened, tell me what happened next. 00:14:38.44\00:14:40.51 Well, well I don't know they are so 00:14:40.54\00:14:42.48 many different demon possession stories that 00:14:42.51\00:14:43.98 are reminding me of the one where they 00:14:44.01\00:14:46.55 were two demon possessed guys, Jesus 00:14:46.58\00:14:48.95 send the demons into the pigs. Who are 00:14:48.98\00:14:51.94 these two guys. Pigs ran into the water and 00:14:51.97\00:14:55.44 drowned themselves. All the pigs, they ran 00:14:55.47\00:14:57.19 into the water. All the pigs? All the pigs. 00:14:57.22\00:14:59.43 Well, the farmers go back to the town with 00:14:59.46\00:15:01.18 the pig news. And of course what 00:15:01.21\00:15:03.30 happened, they asked Jesus to leave. 00:15:03.33\00:15:05.30 Nothing locks Jesus nothing, nothing. We 00:15:05.33\00:15:08.33 serve Jesus, Jesus, get this is the exact 00:15:08.36\00:15:12.32 character and has the exact character as 00:15:12.35\00:15:15.15 God. So, when you see Jesus, you see 00:15:15.18\00:15:18.09 God. Did we ever get that picture of God 00:15:18.12\00:15:20.46 before Jesus? Never. You don't get that 00:15:20.49\00:15:22.96 from the pharisees and the priests. You 00:15:22.99\00:15:25.19 have to remember something special 00:15:25.22\00:15:26.66 about Jesus. He was so special, he thinks 00:15:26.69\00:15:29.53 that everyone on this planet is special. 00:15:29.56\00:15:32.15 Everyone? He spent the whole afternoon 00:15:32.18\00:15:36.39 with a Samaritan. Samaritan? Yes, and 00:15:36.42\00:15:40.83 he just continued to talk with her, she 00:15:40.86\00:15:42.95 went into the town, brought back the 00:15:42.98\00:15:44.75 whole village, they all heard what Jesus had 00:15:44.78\00:15:46.87 to say, he talks with everyone like we're 00:15:46.90\00:15:49.09 all equal. Equal, all people equal. Yes. 00:15:49.12\00:15:52.41 Never a man, I never met a man like a 00:15:52.44\00:15:54.78 Jesus. Yes. Well, Zedek then he said, 00:15:54.81\00:15:59.47 Jesus tell me about God. Yes. And once 00:15:59.50\00:16:04.01 you ask Jesus who loves to talk about 00:16:04.04\00:16:07.15 God. He continued to talk about the 00:16:07.18\00:16:10.58 kingdom of God that is on this earth. Right, 00:16:10.61\00:16:13.52 this earth. You hear so many things about 00:16:13.55\00:16:15.53 God that the pharisees and scribes talk about, 00:16:15.56\00:16:20.68 but that's not the way God is at all. Now, 00:16:20.71\00:16:22.96 are you sure? Well, when I look at Jesus, 00:16:22.99\00:16:26.36 Jesus says he is a son of God. Yes, yes, I 00:16:26.39\00:16:29.58 believe that Jesus is a son of God. Oh yes, 00:16:29.61\00:16:31.86 you've met him so you know. We met 00:16:31.89\00:16:33.94 Jesus and he even said this once, if you've 00:16:33.97\00:16:37.62 seen me, you've seen the father. If the 00:16:37.65\00:16:44.40 pharisees here him say that, oh they, 00:16:44.43\00:16:46.76 they, just say that was blasphemy and they 00:16:46.79\00:16:48.67 would, they would stone him to death. 00:16:48.70\00:16:50.20 Listen these children keep reminding me of 00:16:50.23\00:16:54.85 how Jesus dealt with them. There was a 00:16:54.88\00:16:56.34 day once where the mothers were 00:16:56.37\00:16:58.19 bringing their children to Jesus. Yes. The 00:16:58.22\00:17:01.33 disciples, they looked like total jerks, the 00:17:01.36\00:17:04.35 disciples go don't bother the rabbi with 00:17:04.38\00:17:07.30 the children. Jesus says. The way the 00:17:07.33\00:17:09.32 pharisees do. Oh yeah, exactly. That's 00:17:09.35\00:17:12.34 my point. Jesus' eyes contacted those 00:17:12.37\00:17:14.77 disciples and he said don't you stop those 00:17:14.80\00:17:18.91 little children from coming to me. 00:17:18.94\00:17:21.67 Disciples were just, that is love. See we 00:17:21.70\00:17:27.26 have to realize our children are the next 00:17:27.29\00:17:29.14 generation, they've got to know about 00:17:29.17\00:17:32.09 God. They've got to know who is Jesus. 00:17:32.12\00:17:33.84 Yes. So, Jesus wants not just the children, 00:17:33.87\00:17:36.21 Jesus wants everyone to come to him, to 00:17:36.24\00:17:39.47 know him. We could talk to all afternoon 00:17:39.50\00:17:42.23 about stories about Jesus, who's been 00:17:42.26\00:17:44.98 going around the towns just loving 00:17:45.01\00:17:48.32 accepting. Oh this one, remember this 00:17:48.35\00:17:50.11 one, a woman caught in the active adultery. 00:17:50.14\00:17:53.38 Caught in the act. Did they stone her, oh 00:17:53.41\00:17:55.74 they were going to, and look what Jesus 00:17:55.77\00:17:58.11 did. Jesus stoops down, starts writing in 00:17:58.14\00:18:02.28 the sand. Writing in the sand? Yes. Why 00:18:02.31\00:18:05.14 did he do that? Tell him, what we're 00:18:05.17\00:18:08.41 trying to say is Jesus doesn't want us to 00:18:08.44\00:18:10.80 condemn anybody, we've all sinned have 00:18:10.83\00:18:13.31 we not? Well, yeah, Jesus wants to accept 00:18:13.34\00:18:15.38 us all and forgive us all. To God and Jesus 00:18:15.41\00:18:18.26 sin is sin. Yes and from oldest to 00:18:18.29\00:18:21.35 youngest, the religious leaders 00:18:21.38\00:18:23.54 looked down, I guess he was writing their 00:18:23.57\00:18:24.96 sins in the sand. He started leaving. And 00:18:24.99\00:18:28.05 then this girl is waiting for the stone 00:18:28.08\00:18:30.00 to be thrown at her. No one threw. No 00:18:30.03\00:18:31.91 one, and then Jesus says go ahead, where 00:18:31.94\00:18:36.47 are you condemners? she says no one here 00:18:36.50\00:18:42.11 Lord and then Lord, listen now, listen to 00:18:42.14\00:18:45.53 this point, do you know the reason they 00:18:45.56\00:18:47.32 didn't stone her. Why? They couldn't 00:18:47.35\00:18:49.48 stone because see they had sinned too. 00:18:49.51\00:18:52.07 We've all sinned and he said you without 00:18:52.10\00:18:55.06 the first, sin cast a stone. Oh I see, Jesus 00:18:55.09\00:18:59.54 accepts everyone, I am so pleased, we've 00:18:59.57\00:19:02.39 got to go ahead in a minute. But I'm so 00:19:02.42\00:19:03.61 pleased that we've been able to watch 00:19:03.64\00:19:06.52 him, I wanted to just study his life, I wanna 00:19:06.55\00:19:08.88 do what he says, I wanna be like Jesus. I 00:19:08.91\00:19:12.08 want to; I have to meet him because I 00:19:12.11\00:19:13.94 want to be like that too. That's sound like 00:19:13.97\00:19:16.18 a, he is a tremendous person. Listen please 00:19:16.21\00:19:19.13 tell everybody that you meet the stories 00:19:19.16\00:19:22.68 we told you. I'm going to, I'm gonna 00:19:22.71\00:19:24.31 share them. Everyone needs to be a follower 00:19:24.34\00:19:27.43 of Jesus. Oh! Praise God. Well, thank you 00:19:27.46\00:19:29.75 very much, thank you for telling me. God 00:19:29.78\00:19:32.06 bless, have a good day. Don't you love 00:19:32.09\00:19:33.62 telling his stories, just to reminisce, it just 00:19:33.65\00:19:37.07 brings the story alive and they're sending 00:19:37.10\00:19:39.13 you back, I pray for everybody. 00:19:39.16\00:19:40.69 You are my strength when I am weak 00:20:00.59\00:20:03.86 You are the treasure that I seek 00:20:03.89\00:20:07.09 You are my all in all Seeking You as a 00:20:07.12\00:20:15.55 precious jewel Lord, to give up I'd be a fool 00:20:15.58\00:20:20.13 You are my all in all Jesus, Lamb of God 00:20:20.16\00:20:32.10 Holy is Your name Jesus, Lamb of God 00:20:32.13\00:20:45.76 Holy is Your name. 00:20:45.79\00:20:52.38 Hi boys an girls, it's time for Ms. Brenda's 00:21:12.89\00:21:15.01 book of the day, and today exciting book is 00:21:15.04\00:21:18.99 this called Octopus Encounter and its by 00:21:19.02\00:21:21.96 Sally Streib. A bookmark ministry, 00:22:16.85\00:22:19.88 now tell me how in the world did you get 00:22:19.91\00:22:21.58 started with the bookmark ministry. 00:22:21.61\00:22:23.13 Well, it was in Dallas, when I was there 00:22:23.16\00:22:25.99 visiting my grandparents and my 00:22:26.02\00:22:28.15 grand mommy was really excited, she 00:22:28.18\00:22:29.73 wanted me to read part of your book 00:22:29.76\00:22:31.70 passionate prayer and so finally I read it and 00:22:31.73\00:22:35.97 now I read the part about how this lady 00:22:36.00\00:22:38.34 was making bookmarks and so 00:22:38.37\00:22:40.72 that got me very excited and so grand 00:22:40.75\00:22:42.36 mommy took me out and she got all the 00:22:42.39\00:22:43.77 things that I need you know like magazines 00:22:43.80\00:22:45.79 to get the picture out of, right, and you 00:22:45.82\00:22:48.12 know that paper and everything and, a 00:22:48.15\00:22:50.02 laminator and all the things that you would 00:22:50.05\00:22:51.98 need. Yeah. And so, we just you know you 00:22:52.01\00:22:56.32 take that pictures, are they hard to make? 00:22:56.35\00:22:58.82 Hard to make, oh no. okay, how do you, 00:22:58.85\00:23:02.32 how is it? All you do, is you just like, you 00:23:02.35\00:23:04.44 know magazines, you can have any picture 00:23:04.47\00:23:05.62 you want out, and then you paste it on to 00:23:05.65\00:23:08.22 here and you have like the sheets that 00:23:08.25\00:23:11.03 have the Bible verse on them. Well, you 00:23:11.06\00:23:12.53 can do that from the computer. Right, then 00:23:12.56\00:23:15.10 you just, you can put it on another sheet of 00:23:15.13\00:23:17.03 paper to make it clear and then you just 00:23:17.06\00:23:18.44 laminate it and then, cut it out. Yep. And, 00:23:18.47\00:23:21.79 and I know I put that story in my book 00:23:21.82\00:23:24.35 passionate prayer, because I wanted to 00:23:24.38\00:23:26.73 get everybody excited about witnessing, so I 00:23:26.76\00:23:28.90 am thankful to God that he touched your 00:23:28.93\00:23:30.41 heart to witness, because it's a 00:23:30.44\00:23:31.69 wonderful way to talk about Jesus.
