It's almost time for Kids Time, yeah. 00:00:01.98\00:00:03.02 We're gonna be late. 00:00:03.03\00:00:04.27 It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:04.28\00:00:08.29 looking for a friend like Jesus. 00:00:08.30\00:00:11.93 It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:11.94\00:00:16.15 let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:16.16\00:00:19.77 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:19.78\00:00:23.78 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:00:23.79\00:00:29.90 Hi boys and girls, have you ever had 00:00:30.65\00:00:32.65 a disagreement with a friend that made 00:00:32.66\00:00:34.19 you feel angry inside. I know I have, 00:00:34.20\00:00:36.84 and it's not a very good feeling is it? 00:00:36.85\00:00:39.10 Let me ask you another question, 00:00:39.11\00:00:40.83 while you felt all angry inside, 00:00:40.84\00:00:42.59 were you able to go on being friends 00:00:42.60\00:00:43.90 with that person laughing and playing 00:00:43.91\00:00:45.71 with him, of course not. And do you 00:00:45.72\00:00:48.23 remember what you had to do to get 00:00:48.24\00:00:49.61 your friendship back on track, that's right. 00:00:49.62\00:00:52.11 One of you had to feel sorry for what 00:00:52.12\00:00:53.76 you have done, and that is called Repentance. 00:00:53.77\00:00:57.16 You can never heal a broken relationship 00:00:57.17\00:00:59.46 without it. Boys and girls that's 00:00:59.47\00:01:01.50 what all the prophets in the Bible were 00:01:01.51\00:01:03.20 talking about when they call people to repent, 00:01:03.21\00:01:05.85 the people who broke their relationship 00:01:05.86\00:01:07.80 with God, some were even mad at him, 00:01:07.81\00:01:09.96 even though he'd only done good things for them. 00:01:09.97\00:01:12.91 Our story today is about one of the most 00:01:12.92\00:01:15.29 famous prophets of all, and guess what 00:01:15.30\00:01:17.77 his message was, that's right repentance. 00:01:17.78\00:01:20.84 We'll hear that story in just a few minutes 00:01:20.85\00:01:22.83 but first hey wait a minute let's wake up 00:01:22.84\00:01:25.33 Max, it's time for Nature Time. 00:01:25.34\00:01:27.14 Come on Max wake up, come on 00:01:27.15\00:01:29.06 you can do, wake up Max. 00:01:29.07\00:01:30.99 Hi boys and girls welcome to Nature Time. 00:01:35.48\00:01:37.68 I'm Ranger Rod and we are here in 00:01:37.69\00:01:39.44 Northwest Montana. I'm with my friend Logan, 00:01:39.45\00:01:42.05 he is a head trainer at Triple D Game Farm. 00:01:42.06\00:01:44.31 We've also got Katie here and we've got 00:01:44.32\00:01:46.84 Dusty and we've got two very rambunctious 00:01:46.85\00:01:49.96 arctic wolves of all things. Logan, 00:01:49.97\00:01:53.37 how old are these wolves? These two 00:01:53.38\00:01:56.22 are four months old. Four months old, 00:01:56.23\00:01:58.09 so that's why they are so frisky, 00:01:58.10\00:01:59.30 they're young. Now, how big will these 00:01:59.31\00:02:02.44 wolves get when they're full grown? 00:02:02.45\00:02:04.09 They will get about a 150 pounds, 00:02:04.10\00:02:07.15 150 pounds, yeah. Now what would 00:02:07.16\00:02:09.83 you do with a 150 pound wolf that wanted 00:02:09.84\00:02:12.34 off your lap. Let him off your lap. 00:02:12.35\00:02:14.69 Let him off. Well they are doing their best 00:02:14.70\00:02:16.85 to kind of contain them, these guys are 00:02:16.86\00:02:18.20 rambunctious. Now they're not wild though 00:02:18.21\00:02:22.68 it looks like you've been handling them 00:02:22.69\00:02:24.71 for a while, they've been training these wolves; 00:02:24.72\00:02:26.80 they got a very special purpose. 00:02:26.81\00:02:28.27 Could you tell us a little bit about the 00:02:28.28\00:02:29.69 purpose of these particular wolves? 00:02:29.70\00:02:31.48 We would train these wolves for photography, 00:02:31.49\00:02:35.02 documentaries, movies, they help educate people. 00:02:35.03\00:02:38.76 We raise them from very young, 00:02:38.77\00:02:41.22 bottle raise them, so that they have a very 00:02:41.23\00:02:44.59 special bond with us. Okay, so wolves do that, 00:02:44.60\00:02:48.09 even in their own family unit. 00:02:48.10\00:02:49.75 Wolves have a real strong family bond. 00:02:49.76\00:02:52.65 And so here at Triple D, you're training 00:02:52.66\00:02:55.14 these wolves to for conservation purposes. 00:02:55.15\00:02:58.31 Could you tell me a little about where 00:02:58.32\00:02:59.47 the arctic wolf is from? These originate from 00:02:59.48\00:03:02.81 Ellesmere Island, from the northern territories. 00:03:02.82\00:03:06.16 They are actually very rare in captivity. 00:03:07.71\00:03:10.11 So they are very this is a very rare wolf. 00:03:10.12\00:03:12.47 Now I hear in the background boys and girls, 00:03:12.48\00:03:14.17 you might not be able to hear this hear this, 00:03:14.18\00:03:15.24 is that their mommy howling? Yes. 00:03:15.25\00:03:17.30 I can hear a wolf howling in the 00:03:17.31\00:03:18.63 background right now. And we're not near 00:03:18.64\00:03:20.65 enough to the wilderness even though 00:03:20.66\00:03:22.09 there are many wolves in Northwestern Montana. 00:03:22.10\00:03:24.53 We're not near enough to the wilderness to 00:03:24.54\00:03:25.90 hear a wild wolf howling, and so we 00:03:25.91\00:03:29.13 can hear the mommy in the background. 00:03:29.14\00:03:30.59 Now Logan I've got a question, 00:03:30.60\00:03:32.00 if these wolves were still out in wild where 00:03:32.01\00:03:34.28 would they be, were they be in a den 00:03:34.29\00:03:35.96 or would they be with their mother and father, 00:03:35.97\00:03:39.00 with the pack or hunting. 00:03:39.01\00:03:40.62 They will just be coming out of the den, 00:03:40.63\00:03:42.71 learning how to hunt with their mom and dad. 00:03:42.72\00:03:45.36 How early do they start to travel then 00:03:45.37\00:03:48.42 with the pack, and what would their 00:03:48.43\00:03:51.27 position be in the pack, and how does, 00:03:51.28\00:03:53.12 could you tell us a little bit about 00:03:53.13\00:03:54.61 how the pack works. I know that there is a, 00:03:54.62\00:03:57.12 there is like one adult male that is kind of the 00:03:57.13\00:04:01.03 leader of the pack and there is a female 00:04:01.04\00:04:02.52 that's a leader. Could you talk just a little bit 00:04:02.53\00:04:04.72 about the family unit of a wolf pack? 00:04:04.73\00:04:06.88 Yes, these little puppies would probably start 00:04:06.89\00:04:10.74 hunting when they're eight months old. 00:04:10.75\00:04:13.08 They would start going out with the 00:04:13.09\00:04:14.38 rest of the pack and learning how to hunt. 00:04:14.39\00:04:17.44 The alpha parents would give birth to these two. 00:04:17.45\00:04:23.49 They will be in-charge of the rest of the pack. 00:04:23.50\00:04:26.55 Now it's my understanding that the alpha parents, 00:04:26.56\00:04:30.09 the alpha male, the alpha female, 00:04:30.10\00:04:31.44 they're the only ones in the pack that breed 00:04:31.45\00:04:33.85 and have babies, the other adult wolves 00:04:33.86\00:04:36.37 would be in the pack and would not necessarily, 00:04:36.38\00:04:38.56 would not necessarily breed. 00:04:38.57\00:04:40.71 Also a wolf only has pups at a certain time 00:04:40.72\00:04:45.39 of a year; they don't have them like a dog 00:04:45.40\00:04:47.07 could have, you know dogs can have puppies 00:04:47.08\00:04:48.84 at any time during the year, where as 00:04:48.85\00:04:50.54 the wolf only has puppies at a certain time, 00:04:50.55\00:04:52.93 why is that important? For wolves it's important 00:04:52.94\00:04:57.20 because the puppies are born right 00:04:57.21\00:04:59.97 before spring which is also at the same time 00:04:59.98\00:05:02.30 when deers are giving birth, so they have a 00:05:02.31\00:05:05.22 lot of food for the puppies to grow on. 00:05:05.23\00:05:08.40 Okay, now how would they get their food, 00:05:08.41\00:05:10.12 do the other wolves bring the food back 00:05:10.13\00:05:11.94 to these puppies if they are at the den? 00:05:11.95\00:05:13.64 There is a babysitter wolf. Okay, babysitter 00:05:13.65\00:05:17.77 wolf, okay. That will stay with the puppies 00:05:17.78\00:05:19.76 while the rest of the pack is out on hunting. 00:05:19.77\00:05:21.51 Then the rest of the pack will come back 00:05:21.52\00:05:24.97 and regurgitate food for these little pups. 00:05:24.98\00:05:27.65 Regurgitate food for them, so they'll go out 00:05:27.66\00:05:29.66 and they will eat some, they'll eat some food, 00:05:29.67\00:05:31.47 now what exactly will they eat? 00:05:31.48\00:05:32.78 What, you had mentioned deer, 00:05:32.79\00:05:34.38 you mentioned baby fawns. 00:05:34.39\00:05:35.98 You know that sounds kind of harsh maybe 00:05:35.99\00:05:38.15 but in the wild, in nature there's a 00:05:38.16\00:05:40.54 balance that has to, that has to play out 00:05:40.55\00:05:42.90 in nature and so the wolves, are they 00:05:42.91\00:05:45.22 important in the balance of nature. 00:05:45.23\00:05:47.12 Yes, they balance out the deer's population, 00:05:47.13\00:05:51.25 bison, elk. Okay, and so they, so the wolves 00:05:51.26\00:05:55.32 would do well in the areas where there 00:05:55.33\00:05:57.92 these dame species where they can go, 00:05:57.93\00:06:00.01 and they can take care of their young. 00:06:00.02\00:06:01.91 And the mommy and the daddy would go out 00:06:01.92\00:06:04.21 and they would hunt and then the babysitters 00:06:04.22\00:06:07.27 would kind of protect the baby wolves in the 00:06:07.28\00:06:09.84 den area and then the other wolves would 00:06:09.85\00:06:11.99 bring the food back for them and feed them 00:06:12.00\00:06:15.03 that way until they're old enough and strong 00:06:15.04\00:06:16.56 enough to run with the pack, yeah, very, very 00:06:16.57\00:06:18.94 interesting. You guys have done great 00:06:18.95\00:06:20.77 and I love it. These are beautiful wolves, 00:06:20.78\00:06:22.56 the arctic wolf a very, very important animal 00:06:22.57\00:06:25.41 that God has created for us young people. 00:06:25.42\00:06:27.16 And so that's all time we have today. 00:06:27.17\00:06:30.05 Until next time I'm Ranger Rod, 00:06:30.06\00:06:32.12 let's all enjoy God's great outdoors. 00:06:32.13\00:06:35.04 There's something quite peculiar 00:06:45.77\00:06:48.55 about this world of ours; 00:06:48.56\00:06:51.10 Sometimes you live in sunshine bright; 00:06:51.11\00:06:53.78 sometimes you live in showers; 00:06:53.79\00:06:56.15 But if you would keep happy 00:06:56.16\00:06:58.76 when things are looking bad, 00:06:58.77\00:07:01.35 Just lift the corner of your mouth 00:07:01.36\00:07:03.94 and make believe you're glad, And. 00:07:03.95\00:07:07.20 Smile, smile, smile, just keep right on smiling; 00:07:07.21\00:07:12.23 Smile, smile, smile, and clouds will pass away; 00:07:12.24\00:07:17.35 Smile, smile, smile, its better far than pining, 00:07:17.36\00:07:22.27 You never mind the shadows on a sunny day. 00:07:22.28\00:07:27.81 Sometimes you meet with 00:07:27.82\00:07:29.60 people who always act so blue 00:07:29.61\00:07:33.18 They don't like this; they don't 00:07:33.19\00:07:35.25 like that no matter what you do 00:07:35.26\00:07:38.45 They never bond with something, 00:07:38.46\00:07:41.16 with anything you say 00:07:41.17\00:07:43.73 And when you start to do a thing 00:07:43.74\00:07:46.29 they want a different way 00:07:46.30\00:07:49.20 But smile, smile, smile, 00:07:49.21\00:07:52.16 just keep right on smiling; 00:07:52.17\00:07:54.99 Smile, smile, smile, and clouds will pass away; 00:07:55.00\00:08:00.03 Smile, smile, smile, its better far than pining, 00:08:00.04\00:08:04.97 You never mind the shadows on a sunny day. 00:08:04.98\00:08:13.04 Welcome to Learning Time. 00:08:19.75\00:08:20.98 I'm glad that you are with us today. 00:08:20.99\00:08:22.91 Are you glad to be here also? Yes. 00:08:22.92\00:08:26.18 We got an experiment that could be a little 00:08:26.19\00:08:27.98 bit messy, is that alright? Yes. 00:08:27.99\00:08:31.33 I thought you would agree. I've got three 00:08:31.34\00:08:32.78 special helpers. And I've got Gracie right here. 00:08:32.79\00:08:35.79 Gracie, where are you from? Georgia. 00:08:35.80\00:08:37.71 Georgia, thanks for being here today. 00:08:37.72\00:08:39.60 And we have Steven way over there, 00:08:39.61\00:08:41.24 Steven where are you from? Texas. Texas, 00:08:41.25\00:08:43.64 thanks for coming to and being part of 00:08:43.65\00:08:45.47 our audience. And we have Andrew way 00:08:45.48\00:08:47.31 back there, Andrew where are you from? 00:08:47.32\00:08:49.61 Georgia. Georgia, hey why don't you all 00:08:49.62\00:08:51.78 three come up here. And let's see if we 00:08:51.79\00:08:53.85 can do something with this stuff and 00:08:53.86\00:08:56.09 this what is that stuff? What does it look like? 00:08:56.10\00:08:58.13 Glue. It looks like glue, that's right. 00:08:58.14\00:09:00.18 What I want you to do is I want you to 00:09:00.19\00:09:01.65 run right through it. Now they are 00:09:01.66\00:09:03.28 barefooted and so it won't hurt them 00:09:03.29\00:09:05.27 I don't think. And so why don't you put 00:09:05.28\00:09:06.77 your right foot, right through it, 00:09:06.78\00:09:07.86 just kind of run right through and your right 00:09:07.87\00:09:09.22 foot is gonna go over there and let's see 00:09:09.23\00:09:10.64 if you get glue on there, go ahead, 00:09:10.65\00:09:12.12 just step right in there, oh, oh no 00:09:12.13\00:09:14.20 she didn't get all glued up. 00:09:14.21\00:09:15.83 And right step in there cool and there 00:09:15.84\00:09:18.11 we go another one again. Hey, let's try 00:09:18.12\00:09:19.74 one more time go ahead, Gracie is gonna 00:09:19.75\00:09:21.17 go through again, and there goes Steven 00:09:21.18\00:09:23.51 right here. And hey let's do something else too, 00:09:23.52\00:09:27.39 or with Andrew, okay. Come on over here 00:09:27.40\00:09:30.28 Andrew. I set, why don't you stop right there, 00:09:30.29\00:09:32.82 we're gonna have Andrew just put his 00:09:32.83\00:09:34.17 foot kind of gently into the glue stuff. 00:09:34.18\00:09:37.80 Are you ready? Go and put your foot in there 00:09:37.81\00:09:39.42 and just kind of, just kind of relax put, 00:09:39.43\00:09:41.53 put some weight on it, yeah put some weight 00:09:41.54\00:09:43.05 on your foot, hey what's happening? 00:09:43.06\00:09:45.18 It's sinking. His toes are disappearing, 00:09:45.19\00:09:49.19 aren't they? Yeah, look at that, and, 00:09:49.20\00:09:51.49 it's sinking down in there. 00:09:51.50\00:09:52.76 Are you gonna be alright? I'm alright. 00:09:52.77\00:09:54.57 I hope you don't drown. You know what we have 00:09:54.58\00:09:56.21 in here; we have a very special stuff, 00:09:56.22\00:09:58.39 it's made of cornstarch and water, 00:09:58.40\00:10:00.92 and we call it, it's a Non-Newtonian Fluid. 00:10:00.93\00:10:05.25 Sometimes it acts like a liquid and sometimes 00:10:05.26\00:10:08.50 it acts like a solid. If you hit it real hard 00:10:08.51\00:10:11.59 it's like a solid, if you just put firm pressure 00:10:11.60\00:10:15.14 on it you will sink down in, that's interesting. 00:10:15.15\00:10:18.27 Hey wanted, hey I'll help you, wanted to 00:10:18.28\00:10:20.17 pull your foot out of here Andrew, careful, 00:10:20.18\00:10:22.27 slowly, slowly, up, up oh, yeah. 00:10:22.28\00:10:26.14 Look at Andrew's foot. Oh yuck. 00:10:26.15\00:10:30.45 Isn't that awful. That is awful, isn't it? 00:10:30.46\00:10:35.43 Why don't you, okay let's sit down. 00:10:35.44\00:10:36.81 And Andrew, can you just scoot down, 00:10:36.82\00:10:38.24 can you sit down right there where you're at? 00:10:38.25\00:10:39.59 Yeah, you don't wanna walk around, 00:10:39.60\00:10:41.23 you're gonna get, oh yeah look at that. 00:10:41.24\00:10:43.60 Oh, oh. Andrew, that's a mess, isn't it? 00:10:43.61\00:10:47.77 You know that reminds me of something kind 00:10:47.78\00:10:49.74 of interesting, you know we have some 00:10:49.75\00:10:51.82 miracles in the Bible, you remember the 00:10:51.83\00:10:53.39 miracle about someone that walked on the water, 00:10:53.40\00:10:57.08 who was that? Jesus. It was, who was it? 00:10:57.09\00:11:00.82 Jesus, Jesus. Yeah, there were two people right. 00:11:00.83\00:11:02.64 Jesus walked on the water and Peter saw 00:11:02.65\00:11:06.21 Jesus and Peter said hey you know can I 00:11:06.22\00:11:09.21 come out too, and Peter stepped on the water 00:11:09.22\00:11:12.33 and it supported him and he walked right 00:11:12.34\00:11:14.64 out to Jesus, didn't he? But do you know 00:11:14.65\00:11:16.45 what somehow Peter got his eyes off Jesus 00:11:16.46\00:11:19.76 he was starting to think maybe about something 00:11:19.77\00:11:21.61 else and looking back and what happened to Peter. 00:11:21.62\00:11:24.39 He started sinking down, didn't he? 00:11:24.40\00:11:27.98 That's interesting. You know that's what will 00:11:27.99\00:11:29.33 happen always if we take our eyes off Jesus. 00:11:29.34\00:11:32.30 We'll start sinking, we'll lose our Christian 00:11:32.31\00:11:35.15 experience maybe, isn't that interesting? 00:11:35.16\00:11:37.17 This is very interesting stuff and in sometimes 00:11:37.18\00:11:40.40 you can make it, you can make it right in 00:11:40.41\00:11:41.92 your kitchen and its called oobleck and 00:11:41.93\00:11:44.65 it's just made cornstarch and water. 00:11:44.66\00:11:48.13 And if I just put in my hand it just turns into 00:11:48.14\00:11:51.25 that liquid and it drips out and it's a mess 00:11:51.26\00:11:54.14 isn't it? but sometimes if you hit it real hard 00:11:54.15\00:11:56.64 with your hand look at that, it's like a solid 00:11:56.65\00:11:59.01 and it just support your hand and if you 00:11:59.02\00:12:01.88 just put your hands in there lightly 00:12:01.89\00:12:03.68 it will get it all messed up. 00:12:03.69\00:12:05.84 Hey remember boys and girls, 00:12:05.85\00:12:08.71 when we learn more about science, 00:12:08.72\00:12:12.05 we learn more about our creator God. 00:12:12.06\00:12:15.35 Oh I can't believe it. Look at those Pharisees. 00:12:21.31\00:12:25.35 They are so in love with themselves. 00:12:25.36\00:12:29.56 My husband is a Pharisee and he is 00:12:29.57\00:12:31.52 nothing like that. Oh really. Really. 00:12:31.53\00:12:36.25 Nothing like that. Is that your husband. 00:12:37.43\00:12:40.13 Yeah, what's the matter honey? 00:12:40.14\00:12:43.75 Now I know why the council did not 00:12:44.79\00:12:46.63 want me to go to the Jordan River. 00:12:46.64\00:12:48.68 Why? I heard about a guy that was baptizing 00:12:48.69\00:12:51.97 people and converting people and preaching 00:12:51.98\00:12:53.80 about the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 00:12:53.81\00:12:56.43 Who is this guy? Well I don't know him, 00:12:56.44\00:12:58.91 I've never met him, I've just seen him 00:12:58.92\00:13:00.17 but they say his name is John, they call him 00:13:00.18\00:13:02.68 the baptizer. And there were people repenting 00:13:02.69\00:13:05.54 and there were people crying, there was. 00:13:05.55\00:13:07.26 What does this John look like? His clothing, 00:13:07.27\00:13:10.10 he doesn't dress like a wealthy Pharisee. 00:13:10.11\00:13:12.23 His clothing had camel hair blended into, he, 00:13:12.24\00:13:17.02 I heard he eats locust and honey. 00:13:17.03\00:13:19.54 Can you imagine that? I don't want 00:13:19.55\00:13:21.87 the ladies to hear about this my friends. 00:13:21.88\00:13:24.85 Please do not say that he hangs around 00:13:24.86\00:13:28.88 with people that, I don't want, have hang 00:13:28.89\00:13:31.95 around people that look like that. 00:13:31.96\00:13:33.48 Oh you know that's the least of the problem. 00:13:33.49\00:13:35.64 What he was preaching is what 00:13:35.65\00:13:37.39 really interested me, excuse me. 00:13:37.40\00:13:39.54 What he was preaching is really what interested 00:13:39.55\00:13:41.54 me. He was saying repent for the kingdom 00:13:41.55\00:13:43.50 of heaven is at hand. There were poor people 00:13:43.51\00:13:45.70 there, there were wealthy, he is 00:13:45.71\00:13:48.20 preaching something that we've never 00:13:48.21\00:13:49.61 talked about. There were poor people there, 00:13:49.62\00:13:51.50 there were wealthy people there, there 00:13:51.51\00:13:52.75 were young people there, older people, 00:13:52.76\00:13:55.04 men and women and he was baptizing one 00:13:55.05\00:13:57.60 after the other but what really caught 00:13:57.61\00:13:59.26 my attention was this. What's that? 00:13:59.27\00:14:01.37 He said something about a lamb, almost; 00:14:01.38\00:14:05.46 behold the Lamb of God that taketh away 00:14:05.47\00:14:11.20 the sin of the world. Amen. And then 00:14:11.21\00:14:13.79 he pointed and then out of the crowd came 00:14:13.80\00:14:18.19 another guy that we've been really troubled 00:14:18.20\00:14:20.36 about. John said his name was Jesus. 00:14:20.37\00:14:23.44 Jesus! But listen to this, and then Jesus 00:14:23.45\00:14:27.23 went to John to be baptized, I wonder 00:14:27.24\00:14:30.61 if he is a sinner, I wonder if he is a sinner 00:14:30.62\00:14:33.44 but then John said, I should be baptized 00:14:33.45\00:14:37.25 by you and then John said, I'm not 00:14:37.26\00:14:40.76 even worthy to loose your sandal, wow. 00:14:40.77\00:14:44.32 And then Jesus said, I mean I was listening 00:14:44.33\00:14:46.66 as hard as I could do, there was so 00:14:46.67\00:14:47.73 much commotion. Jesus said, this is 00:14:47.74\00:14:51.66 how it has to be right now. 00:14:51.67\00:14:53.42 Then he said something that doesn't make sense 00:14:53.43\00:14:55.19 to me and he says it is necessary to do 00:14:55.20\00:14:57.11 this to fulfill all righteousness and then, 00:14:57.12\00:15:02.80 yeah, and then John kind of, John baptized him, 00:15:02.81\00:15:08.46 really. But then, this is really where it really 00:15:08.47\00:15:12.55 caught my attention, what's that? 00:15:12.56\00:15:14.22 When Jesus was coming out of the water, yes. 00:15:14.23\00:15:16.91 It's seemed like the place got brighter 00:15:16.92\00:15:18.89 and people started looking and then 00:15:18.90\00:15:20.96 we looked him. We didn't hear it right 00:15:20.97\00:15:22.97 away but it sounded like thunder to us 00:15:22.98\00:15:24.97 and then it seemed like Jesus started looking 00:15:24.98\00:15:28.71 toward the light and praying and if I'm 00:15:28.72\00:15:31.90 mistaken oh if they heard me talking like 00:15:31.91\00:15:34.49 this they will put me out of the Pharisee 00:15:34.50\00:15:35.94 people circle, I mean, my membership could 00:15:35.95\00:15:39.00 be taken away. What did he say? 00:15:39.01\00:15:40.97 He began to pray to his father. 00:15:40.98\00:15:45.00 His father, God, the Father. 00:15:45.01\00:15:46.99 He said something about, do you think 00:15:47.00\00:15:48.53 it's God Father. God or the Father, yes. 00:15:48.54\00:15:51.46 Oh you should have been there, I mean 00:15:51.47\00:15:53.48 you should have there, this was amazing, 00:15:53.49\00:15:54.98 and then, and then. I don't know if I 00:15:54.99\00:16:01.47 should say this enough but it made me 00:16:01.48\00:16:03.71 start to feel bad about, oh, I just imagine 00:16:03.72\00:16:07.05 how much time I've, I just imagine how I 00:16:07.06\00:16:10.94 just did not listen to this message about 00:16:10.95\00:16:13.05 the God he was preaching about the repentance 00:16:13.06\00:16:15.82 and then all of a sudden, all of a sudden this 00:16:15.83\00:16:18.58 feeling came over me. What's that? 00:16:18.59\00:16:21.59 That living this Pharisee circle life 00:16:21.60\00:16:24.77 has to end, really. I didn't want the 00:16:24.78\00:16:27.90 other Pharisees to know this, so don't 00:16:27.91\00:16:29.48 tell them, but really led me to the place 00:16:29.49\00:16:32.74 where I think I need to change my life. 00:16:32.75\00:16:34.60 I said I don't know if I'm gonna do it. 00:16:34.61\00:16:36.90 but it led me to this point of repentance. 00:16:36.91\00:16:40.13 I got to take you, I got to show you that, 00:16:40.14\00:16:42.29 you wanna go. Yeah, I wanna go to the 00:16:42.30\00:16:45.10 Jordan River, I don't want to see this, 00:16:45.11\00:16:46.92 where this thing happened, 00:16:46.93\00:16:48.72 where this whole scene happened. 00:16:48.73\00:16:50.69 But it may affect you also. Can you imagine 00:16:50.70\00:16:53.54 getting baptized and leaving the Pharisees 00:16:53.55\00:16:57.86 and the Sadducees and this tribe, 00:16:57.87\00:16:59.29 what will happen to us. I wanna go, take 00:16:59.30\00:17:01.64 me honey, take me there. 00:17:01.65\00:17:03.37 We'll have to begin a whole new life, 00:17:03.38\00:17:04.73 and it's not gonna be easy. 00:17:04.74\00:17:06.33 We're gonna have to change the way 00:17:06.34\00:17:08.43 we dress and, that's okay. 00:17:08.44\00:17:09.71 And we're gonna have to change the 00:17:09.72\00:17:10.76 way we eat and, it's worth it. 00:17:10.77\00:17:12.54 And he said the kingdom of heaven 00:17:12.55\00:17:14.99 and for thousands of years we've been talking 00:17:15.00\00:17:17.26 about the kingdom of heaven and what's 00:17:17.27\00:17:18.85 gonna happen when, yes, but I don't know 00:17:18.86\00:17:20.70 this is gonna be guide me, he just didn't 00:17:20.71\00:17:22.75 looked the part at all, he looked poor. 00:17:22.76\00:17:24.83 Into my heart, Into my heart, 00:17:37.37\00:17:43.38 Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. 00:17:43.39\00:17:50.48 Come in today, Come in to stay, 00:17:50.49\00:17:58.03 Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. 00:17:58.04\00:18:08.23 It's time for Miss Brenda's book of the day. 00:18:14.63\00:18:17.60 And I'm very excited boys and girls to bring 00:18:17.61\00:18:19.47 you this book, it's called Transform 00:18:19.48\00:18:21.29 your prayer life in just 30 days 00:18:21.30\00:18:23.34 and it is a prayer journal by Hazel Henry. 00:18:23.35\00:18:26.24 And I really recommend this to you if you want 00:18:26.25\00:18:28.68 to have a better relationship with God. 00:18:28.69\00:18:30.44 If you wanna learn how to pray and 00:18:30.45\00:18:32.31 how to really claim Bible promises and 00:18:32.32\00:18:34.86 ask God for your every need, and ask 00:18:34.87\00:18:37.91 him to be with you. This is Harpy and 00:19:13.59\00:19:15.60 this over here whose fallen asleep on us 00:19:15.61\00:19:17.37 is Daisy. It's Harpy and Daisy, 00:19:17.38\00:19:19.53 and you do something special to share Jesus, 00:19:19.54\00:19:21.75 what do you do? We work for the Humane 00:19:21.76\00:19:24.08 Society and one of the things we do is 00:19:24.09\00:19:26.06 we save unwanted dogs and cats from 00:19:26.07\00:19:28.24 possibly getting put to sleep, because 00:19:28.25\00:19:29.71 nobody loves them and we help them 00:19:29.72\00:19:30.92 find great homes. That's awesome, 00:19:30.93\00:19:33.22 you know I want to share with our 00:19:33.23\00:19:36.56 Kids Time viewers, something very special 00:19:36.57\00:19:38.81 about you because I had the opportunity 00:19:38.82\00:19:40.64 to meet you, several months ago when I was 00:19:40.65\00:19:43.23 looking for a dog for our Kids Time program. 00:19:43.24\00:19:46.94 And I knew I have this praying and praying 00:19:46.95\00:19:49.24 and praying, I knew God was impressing me 00:19:49.25\00:19:51.55 that there should be a dog on our program. 00:19:51.56\00:19:53.34 But I have a little secret to tell 00:19:53.35\00:19:56.09 you guys you know a little something maybe 00:19:56.10\00:19:57.90 some of you know if you know Miss Brenda 00:19:57.91\00:19:59.64 and if you have ever met me in person 00:19:59.65\00:20:00.91 you know that I am kind of afraid of animals 00:20:00.92\00:20:02.83 especially dogs. And so as God was impressing 00:20:02.84\00:20:06.32 me that I need a dog on the program 00:20:06.33\00:20:07.72 I was praying and praying and I was said 00:20:07.73\00:20:09.16 Lord please give us the right dog, 00:20:09.17\00:20:10.84 because you know how scared I am of dogs. 00:20:10.85\00:20:13.09 And so we had the opportunity to go 00:20:13.10\00:20:15.46 to the Humane Society to, it was at the 00:20:15.47\00:20:18.36 Humane Society? Its kind of Humane Society, 00:20:18.37\00:20:20.63 Humane Society, right I went to see you. 00:20:20.64\00:20:22.34 And you had a dog on there that was 00:20:22.35\00:20:25.11 named Three Toes, and. why was he named 00:20:25.12\00:20:28.53 Three Toes? When he came into the 00:20:28.54\00:20:29.83 Humane Society he was basically missing 00:20:29.84\00:20:32.30 one of his toes, and it was pretty painful, 00:20:32.31\00:20:34.48 so he got stuck with the name Three Toes at first. 00:20:34.49\00:20:37.84 He did, and so when I came to see you, 00:20:37.85\00:20:39.60 I'm sure you don't, you will probably 00:20:39.61\00:20:41.11 never going to forget that day right. 00:20:41.12\00:20:42.40 No madam. Because I don't know you said 00:20:42.41\00:20:45.15 you'd never met somebody that was 00:20:45.16\00:20:46.25 so afraid of dogs and I don't know I've never 00:20:46.26\00:20:48.86 been to a kennel, boys and girls but 00:20:48.87\00:20:50.54 it was my first experience and when 00:20:50.55\00:20:53.16 Miss Amanda opened the Kennel door 00:20:53.17\00:20:54.85 and there was this long, it's like a long sidewalk 00:20:54.86\00:20:57.30 and there are cages on each side, 00:20:57.31\00:20:58.70 and dogs were barking and everything. 00:20:58.71\00:21:00.19 And I was praying and praying I said Jesus 00:21:00.20\00:21:02.30 please help me not to be afraid and we stepped 00:21:02.31\00:21:04.16 in a little bit, Amanda is right behind me 00:21:04.17\00:21:06.16 and one of our camera men Mitch is behind her 00:21:06.17\00:21:09.18 and so we're walking down then all of a 00:21:09.19\00:21:10.95 sudden a dog, what kind of a dog was that 00:21:10.96\00:21:13.31 Amanda. She was a Labrador mix. 00:21:13.32\00:21:14.95 Well whatever kind of thing it was 00:21:14.96\00:21:17.24 I thought it was a big boxer, I don't know. 00:21:17.25\00:21:19.41 Didn't you have a boxer there? 00:21:19.42\00:21:20.66 Oh, I don't know if we do, I think we might 00:21:20.67\00:21:22.52 have at that time. Yes, well I can't remember, 00:21:22.53\00:21:24.73 but you're probably right, but I was, all 00:21:24.74\00:21:27.59 of a sudden this dog behind me it let out 00:21:27.60\00:21:29.92 a roar I mean just, and I literally 00:21:29.93\00:21:32.87 I just leapt into your arms, I put, I hugged 00:21:32.88\00:21:35.29 you so tight, I was all in your arms and 00:21:35.30\00:21:37.03 you were laughing at me. and I was 00:21:37.04\00:21:40.23 so scared and then I remember you, 00:21:40.24\00:21:42.44 here I'm shaking so bad and I am trying to, 00:21:42.45\00:21:44.68 and you said to me, you said, are you sure 00:21:44.69\00:21:48.17 you want a dog? And I said I'm sure 00:21:48.18\00:21:51.28 I don't but I am sure God wants me too. 00:21:51.29\00:21:54.23 And then we said well it was probably better 00:21:54.24\00:21:56.47 idea that we waited out in the lobby 00:21:56.48\00:21:58.24 and you had Maxwell out there and 00:21:58.25\00:22:02.31 were you worried about me a little bit to see 00:22:02.32\00:22:05.20 if I was going to be able to handle having a dog? 00:22:05.21\00:22:07.04 No, as everybody can tell from watching the show, 00:22:07.05\00:22:09.49 he is just so laid back. I knew that if you 00:22:09.50\00:22:12.10 headed off well with him you won't have 00:22:12.11\00:22:13.60 any problems. He is just a perfect dog 00:22:13.61\00:22:15.40 for to be on the TV show. He really is and 00:22:15.41\00:22:18.49 Maxwell took me right away didn't he and I, 00:22:18.50\00:22:21.86 you turned around, few seconds later 00:22:21.87\00:22:24.43 you came back and here I was, I was even 00:22:24.44\00:22:25.87 petting him and that's not something I do 00:22:25.88\00:22:27.95 and I was petting him he liked me and lay down 00:22:27.96\00:22:30.67 and went to sleep right there, right by me. 00:22:30.68\00:22:32.37 And I stayed for about an hour boys and girls 00:22:32.38\00:22:34.98 and I can tell you I fell in love with Max 00:22:34.99\00:22:37.55 and I knew God had chosen Maxwell to be 00:22:37.56\00:22:40.10 on Kids Time. And Maxwell is, so calm, 00:22:40.11\00:22:43.26 our biggest problem you know Amanda, 00:22:43.27\00:22:44.77 what our biggest problem is with Maxwell. 00:22:44.78\00:22:46.37 He falls asleep. Yes, we can't keep him awake. 00:22:46.38\00:22:48.67 He also, in fact I would you know be willing 00:22:48.68\00:22:51.32 to stay I would step out of limb here; 00:22:51.33\00:22:52.88 I think he will be asleep before 00:22:52.89\00:22:53.99 we finish this program. Probably. 00:22:54.00\00:22:55.44 Yeah he just goes right to sleep if we can, 00:22:55.45\00:22:57.32 I'll be playing the piano and he just 00:22:57.33\00:22:59.42 goes right to sleep, I can't even get to the 00:22:59.43\00:23:00.93 introduction, he just goes go to sleep. 00:23:00.94\00:23:03.44 And so I'll tell you he has been such a 00:23:03.45\00:23:06.17 blessing boys and girls I've already fallen 00:23:06.18\00:23:07.94 in love with Maxwell. We named him Maxwell 00:23:07.95\00:23:10.92 after a very popular children's author, 00:23:10.93\00:23:13.82 his name is Arthur Maxwell. 00:23:13.83\00:23:15.19 He has wrote so many books look at Maxwell's 00:23:15.20\00:23:17.66 is probably going to sleep, look at that, 00:23:17.67\00:23:19.27 already going to sleep, I think Daisy 00:23:19.28\00:23:21.78 is joining him as well. And Daisy is joining 00:23:21.79\00:23:23.38 him and but I wanted to tell you I just, 00:23:23.39\00:23:26.68 he's been such a joy and I can honestly 00:23:26.69\00:23:29.60 tell you I love Maxwell. Boys and girls love 00:23:29.61\00:23:31.43 Maxwell and he's doing a good work for Jesus. 00:23:31.44\00:23:34.70 Yes he is. He really is. So now let me ask 00:23:34.71\00:23:36.95 you this how do you get most of your animals. 00:23:36.96\00:23:40.11 We get our animals from the pound, 00:23:40.12\00:23:42.40 and usually we get them right before 00:23:42.41\00:23:44.43 they're getting ready to be put to sleep. 00:23:44.44\00:23:46.24 We get them and we bring them in, 00:23:46.25\00:23:48.11 and if they're sick we make them better, 00:23:48.12\00:23:49.83 if they are sad or scared of people 00:23:49.84\00:23:52.11 we help them get over that kind of phobia 00:23:52.12\00:23:54.58 and fear and then we have kids like her 00:23:54.59\00:23:57.35 that help us teach them how to act 00:23:57.36\00:23:58.96 around kids. So we keep them until 00:23:58.97\00:24:01.45 they find a home, if we have them for a 00:24:01.46\00:24:03.49 month or if we have them for five years, 00:24:03.50\00:24:05.29 they always have a home with us. 00:24:05.30\00:24:06.56 Oh that's wonderful. Okay Dominic, 00:24:06.57\00:24:08.82 tell me what do you do to help the animals. 00:24:08.83\00:24:10.70 I help every Thursday with my mom, 00:24:10.71\00:24:12.73 help the animals and like clean out their Kennels. 00:24:12.74\00:24:16.35 And I also play with them so they will get 00:24:16.36\00:24:19.22 used to kids. Now why is that important 00:24:19.23\00:24:21.49 that they get used to kids? 00:24:21.50\00:24:22.77 So they won't be scared or afraid. 00:24:22.78\00:24:24.92 Well that's good and probably it makes 00:24:24.93\00:24:26.77 him easier to adopt to families 00:24:26.78\00:24:28.51 if they are comfortable with kids aren't they? 00:24:28.52\00:24:30.86 You know Miss Amanda what is 00:24:30.87\00:24:32.38 that the boys and girls can do to help you 00:24:32.39\00:24:34.65 and to help other animals what they can do? 00:24:34.66\00:24:36.59 Well one thing they can do instead of 00:24:36.60\00:24:37.95 going to pet shop and buying pets, 00:24:37.96\00:24:39.90 they can adopt an animal from our shelter 00:24:39.91\00:24:42.08 because not only are they saving a life, 00:24:42.09\00:24:44.79 shelter animals really do show that 00:24:44.80\00:24:47.43 they're thankful that you saved them. 00:24:47.44\00:24:49.43 Another thing that they can do go volunteer 00:24:49.44\00:24:51.77 at their local shelters you know just like 00:24:51.78\00:24:54.00 she does, just sitting with the dog 00:24:54.01\00:24:55.28 five minutes can make the difference 00:24:55.29\00:24:56.81 between if it's going to a family with kids 00:24:56.82\00:24:59.11 or if it's going to sit in a shelter for a while 00:24:59.12\00:25:01.45 and the most important thing that everybody 00:25:01.46\00:25:03.06 can do is make sure that they stay near 00:25:03.07\00:25:04.82 to their pets. There is just way too many pets 00:25:04.83\00:25:07.45 and just not enough good homes for them 00:25:07.46\00:25:09.12 and that can ensure that there is no, 00:25:09.13\00:25:10.93 none of God's creatures are unloved or unwanted. 00:25:10.94\00:25:13.59 That's a very, very helpful suggestion. 00:25:13.60\00:25:16.58 I'm so thankful for people like you Amanda 00:25:16.59\00:25:18.95 that are so committed to God's animals 00:25:18.96\00:25:21.52 and you too Dominic. Well I think 00:25:21.53\00:25:23.44 I might have time for one letter and let me 00:25:23.45\00:25:25.90 just read one right here have one right 00:25:25.91\00:25:27.73 here on my lap and it's from Shayan, 00:25:27.74\00:25:29.83 she is from Cottonwood, Arizona, 00:25:29.84\00:25:32.10 I got two pictures, can you guys hold 00:25:32.11\00:25:33.68 those up for me. And Shayan says, 00:25:33.69\00:25:36.05 dear Miss Brenda, I'm 10 years old, 00:25:36.06\00:25:38.30 I love Jesus and I share him with my friends 00:25:38.31\00:25:40.65 at school. This fall I'm going to Cuba with 00:25:40.66\00:25:43.03 my grandma and she is going preaching 00:25:43.04\00:25:45.16 and I'm helping with the children. 00:25:45.17\00:25:46.76 Please sign me and my brother Hunter 00:25:46.77\00:25:48.60 up for Kids Club, he is 7. 00:25:48.61\00:25:50.72 Thank you, love Shayan. Well keep sharing Jesus, 00:25:50.73\00:25:54.46 won't you Shayan. You know Miss Amanda, 00:25:54.47\00:25:56.44 I wanna thank you so much for helping us 00:25:56.45\00:25:58.13 adopt Maxwell, I mean look he's already 00:25:58.14\00:26:00.28 sound asleep and I know that Maxwell 00:26:00.29\00:26:03.18 is gonna touch hearts of children all over 00:26:03.19\00:26:04.96 the world and thank you so much. 00:26:04.97\00:26:06.82 Boys and girls, I want to encourage you to, 00:26:06.83\00:26:09.31 reach out to your animal shelters in your area. 00:26:09.32\00:26:12.90 There is something special that you can 00:26:12.91\00:26:14.43 do for Jesus isn't that right Amanda. 00:26:14.44\00:26:16.36 That's true. That's right so boys and girls 00:26:16.37\00:26:18.33 until next time I want to remind you that anytime, 00:26:18.34\00:26:21.10 everywhere you go, any place you visit, 00:26:21.11\00:26:23.68 remember to smile, tell someone how much 00:26:23.69\00:26:26.12 Jesus loves him won't you, 00:26:26.13\00:26:27.50 it's Kids Time to share Jesus. 00:26:27.51\00:26:30.36
