It's almost time for Kids Time, we going to be late. 00:00:01.98\00:00:04.18 Hi, boys and girls I love cookies. 00:00:30.77\00:00:33.36 Actually, I like baking them even more than I like 00:00:33.39\00:00:36.07 eating them and I really like sharing them with others. 00:00:36.10\00:00:39.15 This is my grandson Michael, 00:00:39.65\00:00:41.16 and he likes cookies even more than I do. 00:00:41.40\00:00:43.54 He would rather eat them than bake them. 00:00:44.12\00:00:46.55 And sometimes his mother makes cookies and puts 00:00:46.58\00:00:49.07 them in a cookie jar to save for after meals. 00:00:49.10\00:00:51.23 His mother tells him, Michael, don't eat 00:00:51.49\00:00:53.43 any cookies between meals save them for after dinner. 00:00:53.46\00:00:56.43 Now, Michael knows it's wrong to steal the 00:00:56.83\00:00:58.36 cookies and eat them at the wrong time. 00:00:58.39\00:01:00.14 But, suppose he tells his brother, Jason 00:01:00.52\00:01:02.56 you go steal the cookies and bring them to me. 00:01:02.59\00:01:04.65 Would that be okay? Would it be alright for him 00:01:05.02\00:01:07.13 to eat them since his brother took them instead of him. 00:01:07.16\00:01:10.21 Of course, not. He would be still be guilty 00:01:10.95\00:01:13.27 of stealing the cookies, wouldn't he? Even though, 00:01:13.30\00:01:15.57 he had someone else do the dirty work for him. 00:01:15.60\00:01:17.90 Our Bible story today is about a man who wanted 00:01:18.34\00:01:20.71 something that belonged to someone else. 00:01:20.74\00:01:22.58 But, he knew it was wrong to take himself. 00:01:22.93\00:01:24.97 So, he had someone else do it. 00:01:25.00\00:01:26.92 We will hear that story in just a little while, 00:01:27.40\00:01:29.46 but first let's get ready for Nature Time. 00:01:29.58\00:01:32.57 Hi, boys and girls welcome to Nature Time. 00:01:38.31\00:01:40.59 We are up here in Western Montana. 00:01:41.24\00:01:43.11 In fact, we are at a very high elevation today. 00:01:43.38\00:01:45.70 We are over 7000 feet, high above Logan Pass 00:01:46.23\00:01:48.97 and beautiful glacier, National Park. 00:01:49.00\00:01:51.61 Boys and girls, I am standing 00:01:52.09\00:01:53.63 on a very special patch of snow. 00:01:53.85\00:01:56.54 This snow came down here from these mountains 00:01:57.11\00:02:00.96 up behind me Avalanche Snow. 00:02:00.99\00:02:04.61 Avalanches, let's talk just a little bit about a force 00:02:05.25\00:02:07.68 of nature that is extremely powerful. 00:02:07.71\00:02:10.22 Now, some forces of nature are very subtle. 00:02:10.70\00:02:12.79 Like the light rain that you might feel at the home 00:02:13.71\00:02:16.88 where you live or light breeze or the sunshine, 00:02:16.91\00:02:20.41 but an avalanche is very, very powerful and when it 00:02:20.85\00:02:23.95 breaks loose from high up here in these mountains and 00:02:23.98\00:02:26.47 these crazy rocks, it takes down everything with it, 00:02:26.50\00:02:29.72 as it moves towards the meadows or the valley below. 00:02:29.98\00:02:32.07 This snow I am standing on is probably 00:02:32.89\00:02:34.41 close to 25 feet deep. It's been accumulating 00:02:34.44\00:02:37.75 here all winter along, as the snow slides down. 00:02:37.78\00:02:40.71 Anytime, at the angle of the slope that the snow falls 00:02:40.92\00:02:43.75 on his over 30 degrees, there is potential for a slide. 00:02:43.78\00:02:47.20 Now, Avalanche slides come in many different forms 00:02:47.61\00:02:50.45 couple of the most common would be a powder slide, 00:02:50.74\00:02:53.35 which results from a lot of snow falling that's very light 00:02:53.60\00:02:56.65 and it just gets too heavy for the mountain that it is on 00:02:57.14\00:03:00.53 and it begins to slide down and begins to slide down. 00:03:00.80\00:03:03.17 Another slide, which is more common is a 00:03:04.04\00:03:07.06 slab slide, which accumulates over a period of time 00:03:07.09\00:03:10.32 anywhere from a few inches up to several feet. 00:03:10.53\00:03:13.26 And as time goes by, the snow changes 00:03:13.62\00:03:16.12 underneath becomes ice crystals 00:03:16.15\00:03:18.47 down underneath the first layer of snow. 00:03:18.50\00:03:20.54 As those ice crystals form they create a little bridge, 00:03:21.22\00:03:23.72 and a snow is actually hanging there on a little ice bridge. 00:03:24.23\00:03:27.92 When conditions arise sometimes it's a noise, 00:03:28.73\00:03:30.79 sometimes it's a vibration, sometimes it's for no 00:03:31.11\00:03:34.01 apparent reason, that slab of snow will let loose 00:03:34.04\00:03:37.55 and it will begin to slide down the mountain. 00:03:37.86\00:03:39.53 When that happens everything in its way 00:03:39.75\00:03:42.27 is destroyed or run over or smashed. 00:03:43.14\00:03:46.18 It's like some of the trees that we can see, that have 00:03:46.21\00:03:48.38 been in a way an avalanche, huge trees, I have seen 00:03:48.41\00:03:51.50 slopes from mammoth trees are just flattened, 00:03:51.53\00:03:54.57 hundreds of acres of them from one slide it just 00:03:55.00\00:03:58.55 destroys and now many people would say that's too bad, 00:03:58.58\00:04:00.39 all those trees destroyed they are beautiful greenery 00:04:00.76\00:04:03.21 and yet an avalanche is very, very important 00:04:03.71\00:04:05.78 for the environment high up here in these mountains 00:04:06.20\00:04:08.60 because what it does, it clears away the trees 00:04:09.04\00:04:11.44 leaving these large avalanche slopes. 00:04:11.70\00:04:13.84 In fact, you can see some of those slopes 00:04:13.87\00:04:15.58 may be up here behind me. Some of those slopes are very 00:04:15.61\00:04:18.35 important because as the trees and a large 00:04:18.38\00:04:20.83 foliage is wiped away, the grasses, the little 00:04:20.86\00:04:23.65 mountain, wild flowers, all of the little things 00:04:23.68\00:04:25.95 that the smaller animals and even a Grizzly Bear needs to 00:04:25.98\00:04:29.10 eat the skunk cabbage, sometimes the Cow Parsnip, 00:04:29.13\00:04:32.53 the Glacier Lilies, all of these plants grow 00:04:32.95\00:04:36.18 in this open sunshine and that allows the food 00:04:36.21\00:04:40.61 for the Elk, for the Bighorn Sheep, 00:04:40.64\00:04:42.50 for the Mountain Goat, for the Grizzly Bear, 00:04:42.53\00:04:44.60 some of the smaller creatures that we have seen, 00:04:44.81\00:04:46.85 The Hoary Marmot, the Pika, some of these little creatures 00:04:47.02\00:04:49.71 very, very necessary and not only for them, 00:04:49.74\00:04:52.07 but also for some of the predatory species 00:04:52.33\00:04:54.27 that actually rely on those animals for their very life. 00:04:54.49\00:04:58.50 And so up here in the mountains, these avalanches 00:04:58.88\00:05:01.40 are very, very necessary and they are also very beautiful. 00:05:01.43\00:05:04.81 If you ever have an opportunity to travel 00:05:05.14\00:05:07.34 somewhere where the mountains are really tall, 00:05:07.37\00:05:09.86 where avalanches can be take that opportunity 00:05:09.89\00:05:12.62 it's very, very beautiful. But, be careful, 00:05:12.91\00:05:15.14 if you are ever out in avalanche country and 00:05:15.38\00:05:17.54 there is snow to come, this snow is very safe, 00:05:17.57\00:05:19.68 very packed down. But, for skiers, for if 00:05:19.71\00:05:23.55 you want to go sliding, snowmobilers, outdoor 00:05:23.58\00:05:26.54 recreationalists, they go out in the winter time, 00:05:26.57\00:05:28.51 cross-country skiing be aware of the condition s 00:05:28.54\00:05:31.26 that you are traveling in. Make sure that you are not in 00:05:31.48\00:05:33.90 danger and so when you are out having fun 00:05:33.93\00:05:36.28 in the snow like we are here today be careful. 00:05:36.47\00:05:39.52 Until next time, this is Ranger Rod saying 00:05:40.55\00:05:42.97 let's all enjoy God's great outdoors. 00:05:43.34\00:05:46.18 Did you ever talk to God above? 00:06:00.48\00:06:05.28 Tell Him that you need a friend to love. 00:06:05.31\00:06:09.74 Pray in Jesus' name believing that God answers prayer. 00:06:09.77\00:06:18.19 Have you told Him all your cares and woes? 00:06:18.52\00:06:22.70 Every tiny little fear He knows. 00:06:22.73\00:06:27.34 You can know He'll always hear 00:06:27.37\00:06:29.55 And He will answer prayer. 00:06:30.07\00:06:35.57 You can whisper in a crowd to Him 00:06:36.22\00:06:40.37 You can cry when you're alone to Him 00:06:40.40\00:06:44.92 You don't have to pray out loud to Him; 00:06:44.95\00:06:49.43 He knows your thoughts. 00:06:49.46\00:06:53.53 On a lofty mountain peak, He's there. 00:06:53.89\00:06:58.37 In a meadow by a stream, He's there. 00:06:58.46\00:07:02.80 Anywhere on earth you go, 00:07:02.83\00:07:06.06 He's been there from the start. 00:07:06.47\00:07:11.47 Find the answer in His Word; it's true. 00:07:11.80\00:07:16.19 You'll be strong because He walks with you. 00:07:16.45\00:07:20.69 By His faithfulness He'll change you, too. 00:07:20.72\00:07:25.30 God answers prayer. 00:07:25.33\00:07:29.81 Welcome, to Learning Time. 00:07:38.04\00:07:39.29 Say, we've got a great experiment for you today. 00:07:39.50\00:07:42.27 And I have got a couple of helpers. 00:07:42.30\00:07:43.85 I have got Erica over here. Erica where are you from? 00:07:44.22\00:07:47.14 Calhoun, Georgia. Calhoun! and what do you like 00:07:47.17\00:07:49.97 to do best in a summer time? I love to do swimming. 00:07:50.00\00:07:53.13 Love to swim. I love to swim also. 00:07:53.16\00:07:54.72 And I have Cameron over here. Cameron 00:07:54.75\00:07:56.42 where are you from and what do you like to do? 00:07:56.45\00:07:58.55 I am from Nassau, Bahamas and I love to play basketball. 00:07:58.58\00:08:01.42 Oh! He loves to play basketball and you have 00:08:01.45\00:08:03.37 a lot of brothers and sisters, don't you? 00:08:03.40\00:08:05.14 Yes sir. Yeah. Who many brothers 00:08:05.17\00:08:06.14 and sisters you have? I have five sisters 00:08:06.15\00:08:08.81 and three brothers. Oh, so he comes 00:08:08.84\00:08:10.92 from a big family. How many of you 00:08:10.95\00:08:12.36 come from big family? Oh! Its nice to have 00:08:12.39\00:08:14.78 a big family. Today, we are gonna 00:08:14.81\00:08:15.89 talk about things that our around us all the time. 00:08:15.92\00:08:18.18 We might not realize how special they really are? 00:08:18.51\00:08:21.00 Once you go and pick up your balloon because a balloon is 00:08:21.03\00:08:23.66 made out of something that we call a polymer. 00:08:23.69\00:08:25.65 And polymer is very interesting. 00:08:25.92\00:08:27.67 Now, what's the problem about balloon blowing? 00:08:27.70\00:08:30.49 Is it ever difficult for you to blow up a balloon? 00:08:30.52\00:08:33.34 Yes. Yeah, but we can blow up 00:08:33.90\00:08:35.17 a balloon, we can make it easier by doing, what? 00:08:35.20\00:08:37.44 Stretching! Let stretch our balloon now. 00:08:37.47\00:08:40.06 And then we can blow our balloon now and we will 00:08:40.09\00:08:41.75 have an nice experiment, isn't it to do? Hang on. 00:08:41.78\00:08:44.20 Here we go. Are you ready? 00:08:44.61\00:08:45.58 Let's go. Let's go, blow it up. 00:08:45.59\00:08:47.12 Wow! And you know what balloons are really special 00:08:51.33\00:08:53.77 because they are made out of a polymer. 00:08:53.80\00:08:55.29 They stretch and they are very strong 00:08:55.54\00:08:57.52 unless you put something sharp on it. 00:08:57.55\00:08:59.08 Then, we can left the balloon out or the air out of it, 00:08:59.11\00:09:02.10 and it's precious, and we have 00:09:02.49\00:09:03.84 some things that we use a lot. 00:09:03.87\00:09:05.57 Sometimes, we use some safety glasses. 00:09:05.60\00:09:07.56 You know in this glass right here the shield, the plastic 00:09:07.85\00:09:10.26 part is made out of what we call a polymer and now polymer 00:09:10.29\00:09:13.68 protects our eyes because these are very, very strong. 00:09:13.71\00:09:16.79 Now, we have things like this right here. What's that? 00:09:17.03\00:09:19.36 A Frisbee. It's a Frisbee. 00:09:19.90\00:09:20.87 Do you like to throw Frisbees? Yeah. 00:09:20.88\00:09:22.19 I do too. We can have lots of fun and it's also made out of 00:09:22.22\00:09:24.93 polymer and is pretty flexible and it's pretty strong too. 00:09:24.96\00:09:28.06 Well, they help us to know and to remember about polymers. 00:09:28.26\00:09:30.97 So, I have this little, it's just, what is this anyway? 00:09:31.00\00:09:34.17 Beats! The beats, that's right, 00:09:35.61\00:09:37.04 in the round of cup, but you can't drink. 00:09:37.07\00:09:38.41 Why don't you hold that? 00:09:38.44\00:09:39.41 When a nice cereal mug right here and each one 00:09:39.42\00:09:41.29 of these cereal beats happens to represent 00:09:41.32\00:09:43.93 a polymer or long chains of molecules that's what 00:09:43.96\00:09:47.87 we are talking about because a polymer 00:09:47.90\00:09:49.70 is really long chains of molecules. 00:09:49.73\00:09:51.66 And I have these little beads right here. 00:09:51.69\00:09:53.24 It's one of those beads represents a molecule 00:09:53.54\00:09:56.27 and they are tied together in a long chain. 00:09:56.30\00:09:58.37 Now Erica is going to do something interesting. 00:09:58.59\00:10:00.57 She is gonna grab and hold of the end of that for us. 00:10:00.60\00:10:02.77 And this will help us to remind ourselves that 00:10:03.05\00:10:05.08 we have long chains of molecules even in our bodies. 00:10:05.11\00:10:08.93 Are you ready for the experiment? 00:10:08.96\00:10:10.18 Yes. We can go a 3,2,1 countdown 00:10:10.21\00:10:12.43 and Erica is going to let go off the chain. 00:10:12.46\00:10:14.52 Are you ready? Three, two, one! 00:10:14.55\00:10:18.05 Lets go, we can come up over here 00:10:18.08\00:10:19.78 and see oh, man! You see that. 00:10:19.81\00:10:23.35 Wow! Isn't cool? Yes. 00:10:24.10\00:10:26.47 Yes it's pretty cool. Each one of these cereal 00:10:26.50\00:10:28.74 beads represents a molecule and those molecules are 00:10:28.77\00:10:32.51 tied together, there are long chains of molecules. 00:10:32.54\00:10:35.88 Isn't great? Yeah. 00:10:35.91\00:10:37.05 You know we have polymers in our bodies 00:10:37.08\00:10:39.00 and God made us that way because without polymers 00:10:39.03\00:10:42.03 in our bodies, we couldn't live and we couldn't move 00:10:42.06\00:10:44.87 and our body wouldn't function. Isn't that great? 00:10:44.90\00:10:47.65 Yes. You know God knew 00:10:47.68\00:10:49.12 what was best for us and he created us with 00:10:49.15\00:10:51.42 those polymers. You know boys and girls remember, 00:10:51.45\00:10:54.22 when we learn more about science we 00:10:54.25\00:10:56.45 learn more about our creator, God. 00:10:56.48\00:11:00.18 Have you noticed how wicked 00:11:06.20\00:11:07.83 our city has been getting lately? 00:11:07.86\00:11:09.64 Yes, I have. Terribly wicked. 00:11:09.67\00:11:12.00 It's even gone clear to the whole country. 00:11:12.03\00:11:14.78 Yes. What's happening? You know, I think 00:11:14.81\00:11:18.22 it's that Jezebel. It is Jezebel. 00:11:18.25\00:11:21.07 She is so wicked and, Are you talking 00:11:21.10\00:11:23.50 about Queen Jezebel? Oh! Yes, We are. 00:11:23.53\00:11:26.99 Oh, please don't tell her that we were talking about her 00:11:27.02\00:11:30.33 please, please don't. Don't worry. I believe 00:11:30.36\00:11:34.35 in the God of Heaven. Oh! Prays God. 00:11:34.38\00:11:37.93 Oh! Prays Lord. Prays the Lord. It must be 00:11:37.96\00:11:40.04 difficult living in the palace. Oh! It is. It's so horrible. 00:11:40.07\00:11:45.21 Most people in the palace believe in wicked, wicked 00:11:45.87\00:11:49.31 Gods' because of Jezebel's influence. She, 00:11:49.34\00:11:52.52 But, doesn't your father live in the palace? 00:11:52.55\00:11:54.57 Oh! Yes. Oh! it's very hard to keep faithful to God, 00:11:54.60\00:11:58.96 but you know he is, he is such a good 00:11:58.99\00:12:02.13 Diana, we are leaving soon be ready. Yes dear. Oh. 00:12:02.16\00:12:06.27 How are you today? Alright. 00:12:06.30\00:12:09.63 Just came into serious whole grove of idols 00:12:09.66\00:12:12.88 that is terrible. Well, I heard about it. 00:12:12.91\00:12:15.28 I haven't seen it. This City is getting so wicked 00:12:15.31\00:12:18.16 and when you look over here and is 00:12:18.19\00:12:19.90 idols over here and idols over there and Ahab 00:12:19.93\00:12:22.77 is to let Jezebel just run the whole show. 00:12:22.80\00:12:24.95 Yes. We just don't know 00:12:24.98\00:12:26.46 what to do anymore. It is getting so terrible. 00:12:26.49\00:12:28.78 Now, we have the all new guards. 00:12:28.81\00:12:30.52 Yes. Oh, I don't know what we are going to do because 00:12:30.55\00:12:33.68 everywhere you look at, Levi, Levi, come over here. 00:12:33.71\00:12:37.14 You coming from the palace? Tell us what's going on? 00:12:37.49\00:12:40.13 Oh, strange things have been happening in the palace. 00:12:40.16\00:12:43.06 Ever since I was promoted, did you hear about my promotion? 00:12:43.73\00:12:46.41 Well, I heard. There was something about that. 00:12:46.44\00:12:48.03 Well, it's not a good thing at all. 00:12:48.06\00:12:49.83 No. You see the king always 00:12:49.86\00:12:51.31 had this kind of right hand man that always, 00:12:51.34\00:12:53.94 yes goes with him and they 00:12:53.97\00:12:55.04 usually last for about a month or two before 00:12:55.56\00:12:57.45 the king gets mad and vanishes them or worse, 00:12:57.48\00:13:01.46 so I am the new head man for the king 00:13:01.49\00:13:05.13 and well the other day we were out walking. 00:13:05.16\00:13:08.28 I mean walk past near Naboth's vineyard, 00:13:09.03\00:13:10.91 and I am sure you've heard of Naboth's vineyard. 00:13:11.56\00:13:13.25 Yes. It is amazing and we were 00:13:13.28\00:13:14.82 walking along and Ahab was admiring 00:13:14.85\00:13:17.44 all of the trees and the fruit and everything 00:13:17.57\00:13:19.83 he said what's going, just walk around. 00:13:19.86\00:13:22.57 So okay your majesty, sure. 00:13:22.60\00:13:24.91 And we walked in and he was tasting some of the 00:13:24.94\00:13:27.61 fruit and pretty soon we stumbled on Naboth, 00:13:27.64\00:13:30.31 he was right there working on a bush, doing something 00:13:30.34\00:13:33.82 and Ahab said, and Ahab turned, Oh, Your Majesty, 00:13:33.85\00:13:38.99 you know, it's such an honor for you to come and visit me. 00:13:39.02\00:13:41.74 Ahab said, oh! yes it is and I have another honor for you 00:13:42.13\00:13:45.46 actually, I would like this vineyard. And I saw Naboth, 00:13:45.49\00:13:50.36 he just kind of went Ah,! Did he just want to be 00:13:50.39\00:13:52.58 given the vineyard? Yeah, he said, well no, 00:13:52.61\00:13:54.48 he said I will pay for it or I will give you 00:13:54.51\00:13:57.22 a better vineyard. and I felt really sorry for 00:13:57.25\00:14:00.15 Naboth because you know, this vineyard has been his 00:14:00.18\00:14:02.65 family for generations. Yeah. 00:14:02.68\00:14:04.53 And Naboth said your majesty with all respect this vineyard 00:14:04.62\00:14:09.83 has been my family forever and ever since my wife died, 00:14:09.86\00:14:14.20 I just spend all my time out here because it reminds me 00:14:15.31\00:14:18.01 of the good times and I am sorry sir, but I couldn't 00:14:18.04\00:14:21.92 part with it. This made Ahab furious. He held his breath 00:14:21.95\00:14:27.19 and his face got red and he spitted and sputtered and 00:14:27.22\00:14:30.04 just stormed right out of there and I tried to keep up 00:14:30.07\00:14:33.42 and we went all the way back to the palace and 00:14:33.45\00:14:35.53 Ahab threw himself on his bed and started crying and 00:14:35.56\00:14:39.22 throwing things and I didn't know what to do. 00:14:39.94\00:14:42.59 So, I went and I brought some of his favorite food 00:14:42.62\00:14:45.22 and he smashed out of my hands and so I brought 00:14:45.25\00:14:47.71 him some of his favorite things to drink and he threw 00:14:47.74\00:14:49.76 that across the floor, in that situation, 00:14:49.79\00:14:51.72 and oh, I had no idea what to do and then all of sudden 00:14:51.75\00:14:55.31 everyone got really quiet in the room and I knew that 00:14:55.34\00:14:58.43 the Jezebel had come. I turned around and there 00:14:59.11\00:15:02.06 she was and she glared at me. And she walked over 00:15:02.09\00:15:04.88 she sat down on the bed beside Ahab and put his 00:15:04.91\00:15:07.72 head in her lap and she kinda stroke and said, 00:15:07.75\00:15:10.44 dear, what is matter? Ahab, threw all of his tears, 00:15:10.47\00:15:14.54 told about how he wanted the vineyard and how 00:15:14.57\00:15:16.58 Naboth wouldn't give it to and then she said, oh! 00:15:16.61\00:15:19.18 I am so sorry. She said that's no way for a king to behave. 00:15:19.21\00:15:22.90 Here eat some food. I will take care of everything. 00:15:22.93\00:15:26.96 Oh, Jezebel takes care of things. 00:15:26.99\00:15:29.63 Well, she told me to go get some food, so I didn't hear 00:15:29.66\00:15:31.63 what her plan was, but few days later I figured it out. 00:15:31.66\00:15:35.09 You see that the leaders of the town called a fast and 00:15:35.68\00:15:38.55 they invited Naboth and they put him in this 00:15:38.58\00:15:40.53 prominent place right in the middle and right in the 00:15:40.56\00:15:43.45 prominent place right in the middle and right in the 00:15:43.48\00:15:44.45 middle of the fast, these two scoundrels that are 00:15:44.46\00:15:45.59 either side of him, they jumped up and accused him 00:15:45.62\00:15:48.75 and they said, I heard this man blaspheme God and the King 00:15:48.78\00:15:52.62 Oh no and the other guy 00:15:52.65\00:15:54.32 jumped and said, I heard him curse God 00:15:54.35\00:15:55.80 and the King too. Poor Naboth, never knew, 00:15:55.83\00:15:59.19 The people, they got maddened, they started beating him. 00:15:59.22\00:16:02.32 They took him outside of the town and they 00:16:02.88\00:16:04.60 stoned him to death. Well, the next day Jezebel 00:16:04.63\00:16:08.58 walked in, she said Ahab, Naboth is gone and 00:16:08.61\00:16:13.16 the vineyard is ours. Wicked woman. Very, 00:16:13.19\00:16:17.00 Well, Ahab was so happy, he jumped up and he ran 00:16:17.42\00:16:20.16 to the vineyard tonight. I stayed behind 00:16:20.19\00:16:21.92 and when we got in there I felt awful. 00:16:21.95\00:16:24.19 I felt like I was trespassing. But, Ahab was laughing and 00:16:24.22\00:16:27.66 tasting food and he was just so happy. 00:16:27.69\00:16:30.30 I was kind of dragging my my feet behind him, 00:16:31.06\00:16:32.74 I understand, and all of a sudden I heard 00:16:32.77\00:16:34.49 Ahab scream and I ran up to him and there right 00:16:34.52\00:16:39.08 in front of him, was this big man with a big beard 00:16:39.11\00:16:42.72 and he had this camel skin cloak on and a big leather 00:16:42.75\00:16:45.76 band around him. Who was he? 00:16:45.79\00:16:47.21 It was Elijah, the prophet. Elijah! 00:16:47.24\00:16:49.92 Elijah was right there. Prophet Elijah! 00:16:49.95\00:16:51.89 And they have said, so my old enemy you found me. 00:16:52.53\00:16:56.55 And Elijah wasn't sacred at all. 00:16:57.58\00:16:59.36 He said the Lord says you murdered a man and took 00:16:59.39\00:17:04.28 his property, thus say at the Lord justice will be served. 00:17:04.31\00:17:09.88 And Ahab just fell apart. He ripped his clothes and 00:17:11.54\00:17:15.27 he fell on to the ground and he took dirt and sprinkled it 00:17:15.30\00:17:18.09 in his hair and he said I have sinned 00:17:18.12\00:17:20.73 and he humbled himself right there in front of Elijah. 00:17:20.83\00:17:24.41 He was sincere? I don't know, 00:17:24.88\00:17:27.01 but soon Elijah was gone and I helped the king back 00:17:27.04\00:17:30.18 and we went back to the palace and it just, it really 00:17:30.21\00:17:33.21 struck me because here was the king and he was begging 00:17:33.24\00:17:37.12 for forgiveness and it made me think about myself and 00:17:37.15\00:17:42.61 I don't sacrifice to the idols like Ahab and I don't do 00:17:42.96\00:17:46.58 some of the things that he does but there are many 00:17:46.61\00:17:49.59 times in the palace where I don't do the right thing 00:17:49.62\00:17:52.34 because, because I am scared. 00:17:52.37\00:17:55.10 Wow! and I don't standup 00:17:55.13\00:17:57.15 for God like I should and seeing him repent makes 00:17:57.18\00:18:00.79 me want to repent too. We see all this evilness 00:18:00.82\00:18:03.87 around us and we need to just, feel like we just 00:18:03.90\00:18:08.22 need to be close to God. Yeah. 00:18:08.25\00:18:10.83 Well, I have to go, but Well, thank you for telling us, 00:18:10.86\00:18:14.01 yes thank you, and we appreciate all 00:18:14.04\00:18:15.16 the information. Okay. Oh, because you understood 00:24:11.29\00:24:15.09 how she felt, yes, 00:24:15.12\00:24:16.41 how it feels to lose someone that you love 00:24:16.44\00:24:18.53 and so it kind of gives you a heart for other doesn't it? 00:24:19.10\00:24:22.64 Yes.
