It's almost time for Kids Time, 00:00:01.98\00:00:02.99 we're gonna be late. It's time to share 00:00:03.51\00:00:06.18 there's a world out there, looking for a friend 00:00:06.36\00:00:10.07 like Jesus, it's time to share there's a world 00:00:10.13\00:00:15.03 out there. Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:15.19\00:00:19.52 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:20.36\00:00:23.72 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:00:24.32\00:00:29.79 Hi boys and girls, if I offered to give you 00:00:31.03\00:00:33.42 anything you wanted what would you ask 00:00:33.45\00:00:35.71 for, would it be a pony or a new bike, 00:00:35.84\00:00:38.25 how about an iPod or an exciting vacation. 00:00:38.67\00:00:41.31 In fact wouldn't you like to have this 00:00:41.74\00:00:43.92 beautiful present right here. My grandsons 00:00:44.01\00:00:46.91 Michael and Jason know that I have 00:00:46.94\00:00:48.49 really soft heart and I love to give them 00:00:48.55\00:00:50.90 things. I love to see them happy. 00:00:50.97\00:00:53.13 God loves to give good gifts to his children 00:00:53.45\00:00:55.76 too. He loves to see you happy. 00:00:55.80\00:00:57.82 But God's gifts are a whole lot better 00:00:58.19\00:01:00.36 than anything I can give. Back in Bible 00:01:00.53\00:01:03.01 times, a man ask the Prophet Elijah for a 00:01:03.17\00:01:05.77 very special gift, but what he ask for wasn't 00:01:05.91\00:01:08.91 something Elijah could give him. It was a 00:01:08.94\00:01:11.50 gift that had to come from God and when 00:01:11.65\00:01:14.59 he received it that man was truly happy. 00:01:14.65\00:01:17.58 Best of all he used that gift to bless others 00:01:18.52\00:01:21.14 for as long as he lived and it's a gift that you 00:01:21.21\00:01:24.01 can ask for too. You will meet that man in our 00:01:24.07\00:01:26.59 Bible story today and find out what he 00:01:26.65\00:01:28.76 asked for. But first let's get 00:01:28.91\00:01:31.58 ready for our Nature Time. 00:01:31.76\00:01:34.12 Hi boys and girls, welcome to Nature Time. 00:01:39.72\00:01:42.05 We have a special thrill today, we have 00:01:42.56\00:01:44.09 our friend Lin with us and she is one of those 00:01:44.18\00:01:46.67 people that work with animals and birds that 00:01:46.73\00:01:49.47 have been injured, and we have some of her 00:01:49.50\00:01:51.93 friends today. Lin, what is this we have? 00:01:51.98\00:01:54.11 This is a little Saw-whet Owl. Amazing, 00:01:54.93\00:01:58.37 now it has been injured? It has, it actually 00:01:58.40\00:02:01.04 was hit by a car and a gentleman was kind 00:02:01.19\00:02:05.13 enough to stop actually see it in the middle 00:02:05.21\00:02:07.21 of a highway, pick it up and bring it to our 00:02:07.24\00:02:09.41 facility. And then you cared for it will never 00:02:09.52\00:02:12.65 be able to fly again perhaps. No, this is 00:02:12.68\00:02:14.79 not a really simple bird, so we will keep 00:02:14.83\00:02:17.73 it on, and use it in education programs and 00:02:17.78\00:02:20.98 events like this. That's wonderful, 00:02:21.74\00:02:23.44 now this creature being an owl, it would 00:02:23.75\00:02:26.30 live in a hole, in a tree hole is that what 00:02:26.41\00:02:28.93 they normally do. Yeah, most of our owls 00:02:29.01\00:02:31.14 are what we call cavity nesters, they will 00:02:31.17\00:02:33.69 seek out a hole in a dead tree or stump and 00:02:34.54\00:02:39.27 lay their eggs there. And how many eggs 00:02:39.31\00:02:41.38 do they would normally have. For these 00:02:41.41\00:02:43.65 species usually 2 to 4, so right in that range. 00:02:43.68\00:02:47.51 Now do both the parents feed, do you 00:02:47.59\00:02:50.37 know if both the parent feed father and 00:02:50.41\00:02:51.98 mother, both they feed. They actually do 00:02:52.01\00:02:53.92 and that's fairly consistent with most of 00:02:53.95\00:02:56.70 the owl's species, primarily it's the female 00:02:56.74\00:03:00.34 that's stays with the nest incubating the 00:03:00.45\00:03:03.58 eggs and then defending the young and the 00:03:03.63\00:03:05.85 male is the one that usually goes back and 00:03:05.88\00:03:07.80 forth bringing the food. I have a question 00:03:07.88\00:03:10.39 Ranger Jim. Is this a baby owl or this owl's 00:03:10.45\00:03:14.95 full grown size. This is actually a full grown 00:03:14.98\00:03:17.33 Saw-whet Owl. They're one of the smallest 00:03:17.41\00:03:19.52 owls that we have here in North America 00:03:19.60\00:03:21.57 and yeah it won't get any bigger than this. 00:03:22.18\00:03:24.61 It's even smaller then the Screech Owl that 00:03:25.03\00:03:26.46 we heard. Yes it is yeah. And boys and girls 00:03:26.53\00:03:28.90 if you have been out camping perhaps at 00:03:28.97\00:03:30.92 night and you have heard the Screech Owl, 00:03:30.95\00:03:32.87 it can be a nerving somewhat, a high pitch, 00:03:34.38\00:03:36.51 well I can't do it because my lips are not 00:03:37.69\00:03:38.92 just right now, but a high pitch screaming 00:03:38.96\00:03:40.96 sounds that give you those cool chills on 00:03:41.02\00:03:43.20 the back of your neck and that is the 00:03:43.37\00:03:46.48 Screech Owl. And so this is very interesting 00:03:46.82\00:03:48.83 to me because I quite frankly have never 00:03:48.86\00:03:50.80 seen one Ranger Rod up close and its very 00:03:50.93\00:03:53.61 exciting to me see. Now you also have Barred 00:03:53.69\00:03:56.49 Owls, do you have that come. Now tell us 00:03:56.53\00:03:58.59 something about the Barred Owls. Okay the 00:03:58.63\00:04:00.92 Barred Owl is one of our larger owls here in 00:04:00.95\00:04:03.52 North America, it's actually the forth 00:04:03.59\00:04:05.44 largest by weight, and they're more common 00:04:05.60\00:04:08.83 in the Northern parts of the country, 00:04:09.83\00:04:11.89 and this little guy is found throughout the 00:04:12.39\00:04:15.79 US. It's a fairly common owl in North America, 00:04:15.89\00:04:18.95 yeah. We have, when we were in Florida, 00:04:19.38\00:04:21.65 we have Barred Owls and they come every 00:04:21.77\00:04:24.85 evening near our camp and especially early 00:04:24.89\00:04:28.25 in the spring when they begin to, begin to 00:04:28.28\00:04:30.51 nest and mate like that they go up they 00:04:30.60\00:04:32.83 have a high pitch call, I have a friend who can 00:04:32.93\00:04:34.48 do it, ooh aah aah a fellow calling back and 00:04:34.55\00:04:37.69 forth and fussing, and its it's really amusing 00:04:37.75\00:04:40.10 to hear when they are talking back and 00:04:40.16\00:04:42.05 forth and people in our camps are I wish 00:04:42.15\00:04:44.28 someone get a gun, and shoot those old owls, 00:04:44.39\00:04:46.14 and I say don't you dare. No. You should do 00:04:46.17\00:04:49.58 something that I would most certainly. 00:04:49.68\00:04:51.11 Now tell us, let's talk about the big guy in 00:04:51.47\00:04:54.34 the owl family the great Horned Owl. 00:04:54.41\00:04:56.09 Okay, yeah the Great Horned is the largest 00:04:56.29\00:04:58.92 by weight in North America and we are 00:04:59.02\00:05:03.08 currently carrying for a couple of Great Horned 00:05:03.18\00:05:05.33 Owls that have being injured. We also have 00:05:05.39\00:05:08.26 what's call the Great Grey Owl they are 00:05:08.39\00:05:10.29 taller yet than the Great Horned Owl. 00:05:10.36\00:05:13.47 They are the tallest that we have in North 00:05:13.50\00:05:15.49 America so. We have, they are quite common 00:05:15.54\00:05:18.29 were we live in Michigan were the Great 00:05:18.41\00:05:20.84 Horned Owl is quite common and of course 00:05:20.97\00:05:22.79 mostly throughout United States we have 00:05:22.86\00:05:24.39 and I caution people and I have cautioned 00:05:24.93\00:05:27.22 them before that if you have and unfortunately 00:05:27.29\00:05:30.01 we have many people do that have a cat, 00:05:30.09\00:05:31.87 pet cat that they just allow to go out and 00:05:32.33\00:05:34.14 just prowl the woods and what have you be 00:05:34.17\00:05:36.19 very careful in the spring because the Great 00:05:36.34\00:05:38.38 Horned Owl is a very efficient predator. 00:05:38.47\00:05:41.31 They are not beyond scooping right down 00:05:41.77\00:05:44.06 on silent wings and they will pick up the cat 00:05:44.09\00:05:46.19 and the cat will disappear. And you mention 00:05:46.52\00:05:48.95 that Ranger Jim these are predatory birds, 00:05:48.98\00:05:51.09 a bird this small what would it primarily feed 00:05:51.64\00:05:55.26 on. Yeah, you're right these are all raptors 00:05:55.33\00:05:58.99 which means the birds of pray and they do 00:05:59.09\00:06:01.21 hunt for live food. This little guy would feed 00:06:01.30\00:06:05.30 primarily on mice, small rodents in the wild, 00:06:05.37\00:06:08.96 and sometimes small birds. Okay. 00:06:09.19\00:06:11.58 And there is something peculiar about the 00:06:12.56\00:06:14.73 Great Horned Owl, he is one of the few 00:06:14.79\00:06:17.41 creatures in nature that eats skunk. 00:06:17.46\00:06:20.64 That's correct. The Great Horned Owl will 00:06:21.18\00:06:23.09 scoop down and grab a skunk, and so I have 00:06:23.15\00:06:25.69 found many Great Horned Owl nest just simply 00:06:25.72\00:06:29.24 sniffing the air. I know it's in the area, 00:06:29.27\00:06:31.33 but I can tell that is very, very common 00:06:31.79\00:06:34.78 to find that the Great Horned Owl will 00:06:34.84\00:06:36.73 take snunk. And thank you so much Lin for 00:06:36.81\00:06:38.96 coming today and being with us. My pleasure. 00:06:39.12\00:06:40.97 Boys and girls Ranger Jim, and Ranger Rod 00:06:41.56\00:06:43.86 as saying as always don't forget to tell Jesus 00:06:44.39\00:06:47.04 you love him because he really does love you. 00:06:47.19\00:06:50.66 Peter and John went to pray. 00:06:59.56\00:07:02.92 They met a lame man on the way. 00:07:03.23\00:07:06.69 He asked for alms and held out his palms, 00:07:07.18\00:07:10.90 And this is what Peter did say" 00:07:11.04\00:07:14.70 Silver and gold have I none, 00:07:15.23\00:07:18.36 but such as I have give I thee. 00:07:18.84\00:07:22.34 In the name of Jesus Christ of 00:07:22.69\00:07:26.70 Nazareth rise up and walk. 00:07:26.91\00:07:30.03 He went walking and leaping and praising God, 00:07:30.33\00:07:34.45 Walking and leaping and praising God, 00:07:34.65\00:07:38.36 In the name of Jesus Christ of 00:07:38.53\00:07:42.65 Nazareth rise up and walk. 00:07:42.82\00:07:46.15 [Foreign language] 00:07:46.96\00:08:35.27 In the name of Jesus Christ of 00:08:35.48\00:08:39.78 Nazareth rise up and walk. 00:08:40.11\00:08:46.11 Welcome to Learning Time, I'm glad you're here 00:08:52.78\00:08:54.54 today and I've got a studio audience here 00:08:54.80\00:08:56.73 are you glad to be here too. Yes. 00:08:56.80\00:08:59.74 Well today we got three helpers. 00:09:00.45\00:09:01.85 We are gonna to do some experiments looks 00:09:01.98\00:09:03.24 like we got some equipment up here this 00:09:03.35\00:09:05.10 should be interesting. I've got Jocelyn over 00:09:05.14\00:09:07.35 there. Jocelyn, have you ever wanted to fly? 00:09:07.38\00:09:09.61 Yeah. Oh cool well today we are gonna talk 00:09:10.46\00:09:12.45 about flying and that will be fun. 00:09:12.58\00:09:14.15 We've got Macey over here. 00:09:14.30\00:09:15.33 Macey, have you ever flown? 00:09:15.61\00:09:16.82 No, well there is gonna be fun, I don't think 00:09:18.10\00:09:19.41 you are gonna fly today but we might make 00:09:19.53\00:09:20.93 something else fly. We got Bryan way back 00:09:21.06\00:09:23.38 there, Bryan have you ever flown? 00:09:23.56\00:09:25.18 No. No, yeah we are gonna fly something, 00:09:25.31\00:09:27.33 so come up my helpers and let's see 00:09:27.42\00:09:29.16 what we can fly around here today. 00:09:29.25\00:09:31.22 Now we've got a piece of equipment up 00:09:31.66\00:09:33.21 here and what is this staying up here. 00:09:33.37\00:09:36.24 Come on in right over here what is that 00:09:36.43\00:09:38.26 thing? A fan. It's a fan that's right, we can 00:09:38.30\00:09:40.84 cool ourselves off with the fan couldn't we, 00:09:40.90\00:09:42.33 and that would be kind of cool to cool yourself 00:09:42.63\00:09:44.60 off but instead we're gonna use it in order 00:09:44.73\00:09:47.16 to make something fly. And if you have fan 00:09:47.19\00:09:49.84 at home you can do this experiment too. 00:09:49.90\00:09:52.74 I love experiments that we can do at home. 00:09:52.80\00:09:54.61 So, Macey why don't you grab a hold of 00:09:55.02\00:09:56.97 balloon, yeah this is cool and you can have 00:09:57.00\00:09:58.72 one too Jocelyn. I am gonna turn the fan on 00:09:58.75\00:10:01.23 and then I am gonna see as you gonna make 00:10:01.53\00:10:04.00 a noise. Yes. Yes, we have a motor there 00:10:04.03\00:10:06.24 and there is fan, so I am gonna to turn it 00:10:06.27\00:10:07.59 on that at our lowest speed and I can feel 00:10:07.63\00:10:10.47 the air coming up here, can you feel it Bryan. 00:10:10.53\00:10:12.43 Yeah. Can you feel the air, okay yeah, 00:10:13.56\00:10:14.53 hey Macey can you put your balloon right 00:10:14.54\00:10:16.64 here and let check this out, oh cool isn't 00:10:16.74\00:10:20.82 that neat. Yes. The balloon is just flying 00:10:20.85\00:10:24.54 around, go ahead and grab it, why don't 00:10:24.57\00:10:25.61 you put your balloon on there too. 00:10:25.72\00:10:26.88 We've got one over here, hang on and 00:10:27.18\00:10:29.15 we're gonna try to get this go and add 00:10:29.18\00:10:30.41 yours too there, see if we can get two of 00:10:30.49\00:10:31.96 them going, we can get two of them flying 00:10:31.99\00:10:33.51 around, wow. And they're just flying around 00:10:33.57\00:10:36.02 and sometimes they fall off but you know 00:10:36.05\00:10:38.22 there's a science principal that we want 00:10:38.25\00:10:39.86 to talk about and it's about fast moving air. 00:10:39.89\00:10:42.57 When we have fast moving air, go and 00:10:42.77\00:10:44.48 put that one back on. When we have fast 00:10:44.59\00:10:46.39 moving air, it creates low air pressure and 00:10:46.42\00:10:49.80 then high air pressure just keeps all of 00:10:49.85\00:10:52.19 those balloons flying, isn't that cool. Yes. 00:10:52.26\00:10:55.07 I think it's great, well Macey you want to 00:10:55.10\00:10:56.49 jump up here and see if we can you to fly. 00:10:56.59\00:10:58.52 No, it wouldn't work, would it? I'll tell you 00:10:59.05\00:11:00.98 what we got though I've got a big old 00:11:01.02\00:11:02.80 beach balloon right here, so Bryan why don't 00:11:02.83\00:11:04.39 you grab a hold of this, I want you to 00:11:04.42\00:11:05.55 put it right here Let's see if we can fly 00:11:05.67\00:11:07.50 that, is that flying? No. No, what's wrong? 00:11:07.53\00:11:11.45 It's too heavy. It's too heavy or we don't 00:11:11.79\00:11:14.44 have what? Enough air. Enough air, 00:11:14.50\00:11:17.27 well I'll tell you let's turn it on to the next 00:11:17.30\00:11:19.43 speed, okay. Let's turn it on to the medium 00:11:19.52\00:11:21.88 speed the fan's going, is blowing a lot more 00:11:21.91\00:11:24.97 air it's still not gonna work, yeah how 00:11:25.00\00:11:26.47 about on high. Check, it's really on high now 00:11:26.50\00:11:28.93 it's moving around a little bit making me 00:11:29.66\00:11:31.26 a little dizzy. But we still don't have enough 00:11:31.29\00:11:34.54 air, I'll tell what I am gonna to do. 00:11:34.57\00:11:36.29 Bryan why don't you grab that off of it 00:11:36.43\00:11:37.78 for us, this balloon or beach ball I guess 00:11:38.08\00:11:40.42 that's what it is. Hey lets try something that 00:11:40.50\00:11:43.05 can give us some more force, you know 00:11:43.14\00:11:45.83 force is kind of an interesting thing. 00:11:45.86\00:11:47.55 Do you know what this is? A leaf blower. 00:11:48.10\00:11:50.71 Yeah, it's a leaf blower and you know if you 00:11:50.74\00:11:52.19 don't have the hair dryer and you forget 00:11:52.22\00:11:53.71 you can always use this because well probably 00:11:53.74\00:11:56.16 not, hey we've got a lot of air right here 00:11:56.19\00:11:58.24 I forget which way this switch works and 00:11:58.35\00:11:59.89 that's the. Oh there sorry about that. 00:11:59.92\00:12:04.39 Yeah, I am going to turn this thing on and 00:12:04.59\00:12:06.58 Bryan what I want you to do and this might be 00:12:06.61\00:12:08.38 hard, you might have to practice it a couple 00:12:08.41\00:12:09.92 of time. I want you to throw the ball the 00:12:10.01\00:12:12.29 beach ball up in the air and we are gonna to 00:12:12.34\00:12:14.62 try to get the beach ball focus on that 00:12:14.65\00:12:17.14 blast of air coming out of our blower, 00:12:17.20\00:12:19.33 are you ready okay here we go how about 00:12:19.38\00:12:21.92 a count down here 3 2 1. Okay up in the air, 00:12:21.99\00:12:26.45 okay let's try it again, let's try it again, 00:12:27.98\00:12:29.79 give it to Bryan okay. Just kind of straight up 00:12:29.93\00:12:31.84 here let's try again and here we go countdown 00:12:31.91\00:12:33.87 3 2 1. Oh yeah isn't cool we got blower over 00:12:34.30\00:12:44.27 here. A little louder there. There it go, 00:12:44.35\00:12:49.98 well over here, we can go over there, 00:12:50.34\00:12:54.64 isn't that cool. Isn't that something, 00:12:55.20\00:13:03.12 that really is you know if that ball and 00:13:03.86\00:13:06.22 these balloons if they didn't float, 00:13:06.31\00:13:08.26 when we have a lot of air pressure going 00:13:08.71\00:13:10.54 through there you know every airplane 00:13:10.65\00:13:12.49 would have to crash because that's how 00:13:12.57\00:13:14.48 airplanes fly, fast moving air creates low air 00:13:14.51\00:13:18.21 pressure and the high air pressure keeps 00:13:18.28\00:13:20.11 the wing up and it's keeps these balloons up 00:13:20.14\00:13:22.41 and it keeps them from falling out of that 00:13:22.63\00:13:24.32 blast of air, isn't that cool. Yeah. Yeah, 00:13:24.35\00:13:27.77 and you know what every time I see a 00:13:28.15\00:13:29.26 bird's wing or a bird fly, it reminds me that 00:13:29.35\00:13:32.49 God made those little bird wings and 00:13:32.63\00:13:34.92 those bird wings, they use that principle, 00:13:35.02\00:13:38.05 that natural principle and we call it the 00:13:38.50\00:13:39.88 Bernoulli effect because Robert Bernoulli, 00:13:39.92\00:13:43.06 he thought of it, but it was something that 00:13:43.51\00:13:45.28 God had already invented right and created. 00:13:45.31\00:13:47.81 And that's why birds can fly and that's 00:13:48.11\00:13:50.02 why airplanes can fly, and that's really cool 00:13:50.05\00:13:52.90 science. Well remember boys and girls 00:13:53.04\00:13:55.51 whenever we learn more about science we're 00:13:55.92\00:13:58.36 learning more about our creator God. 00:13:58.45\00:14:01.70 May the God of heaven bless you as you 00:14:08.46\00:14:10.90 serve him all of your life? Thank You. 00:14:11.04\00:14:15.48 You are welcome. Excuse me. Yes. 00:14:15.64\00:14:24.18 Isn't that Elijah's mantle? Yes, it is. Yes, 00:14:25.26\00:14:28.58 it is, what are you doing with it, who are you, 00:14:28.77\00:14:31.79 where is Elijah. I am Elisha, 00:14:32.35\00:14:34.46 I was Elijah's servant and this is his mantle. 00:14:35.21\00:14:37.94 Oh yes. And now I am the Prophet of God. 00:14:38.24\00:14:41.14 You are the Prophet? Friend let me tell 00:14:41.19\00:14:44.42 you about the first time. I am confused. 00:14:44.45\00:14:45.73 I met Elijah, I was out on my field plowing 00:14:45.90\00:14:49.00 with my ox, and Elijah the Prophet came 00:14:49.03\00:14:51.93 up and I saw him, and I stopped, and he 00:14:51.96\00:14:53.65 walked right up to me and he took this very 00:14:53.80\00:14:56.24 mantle and he placed it on my shoulder. 00:14:56.32\00:14:58.76 As soon as he did that I knew that God was 00:14:59.65\00:15:02.54 calling me to serve the Prophet. Well, I didn't 00:15:02.63\00:15:07.16 go back home, I didn't tell my folks, 00:15:07.19\00:15:09.53 I just left straight then to serve Elijah. 00:15:09.95\00:15:13.63 And these last few years have being 00:15:14.62\00:15:16.15 amazing. Elijah is just superman of God. 00:15:16.21\00:15:19.88 He prays for people and things happened. 00:15:20.47\00:15:22.92 When he goes and talks people listen and 00:15:23.35\00:15:25.39 as I watched him I saw the spirit of God 00:15:25.46\00:15:27.58 moving in him and I said some day I hope 00:15:27.71\00:15:31.12 that I can have this spirit too. Well, just 00:15:31.52\00:15:36.28 last night I had a dream and in this dream 00:15:36.31\00:15:38.81 God told me that Elijah was going to be 00:15:39.82\00:15:41.93 taken up to heaven and I woke up and I 00:15:41.98\00:15:44.88 wondered what that dream meant and we 00:15:45.41\00:15:48.47 were in Bethel and Elijah said Elisha, 00:15:48.50\00:15:51.74 it is time for me to go, you stay here. 00:15:51.81\00:15:53.85 And I said surely as the Lord lives master, 00:15:54.92\00:15:56.79 I will not leave you, so we left together and 00:15:56.87\00:16:00.58 we went to Jericho, at the school of the 00:16:00.62\00:16:02.00 Prophets and when we got there he said 00:16:02.07\00:16:04.36 Elisha, it's time for me to go you stay here. 00:16:04.84\00:16:07.56 Once again I said as surely as the Lord lives, 00:16:08.33\00:16:11.61 I will not leave you. So we walked out of 00:16:11.77\00:16:15.20 town and when we came to Jordan River, 00:16:15.47\00:16:17.59 we were out there nobody else was there, 00:16:17.81\00:16:19.43 just me and him and he was really quiet 00:16:19.54\00:16:22.03 and I was just walking right behind and 00:16:22.60\00:16:24.33 wondering, is he going to be taken to heaven 00:16:24.47\00:16:27.92 what's gonna happen. And I was kind of 00:16:28.18\00:16:30.30 sad because Elijah was my best friend and 00:16:30.46\00:16:33.02 he became a father to me and the thought 00:16:33.22\00:16:35.27 of him being gone was scary. 00:16:35.30\00:16:37.58 Well we came to Jordan river and he said 00:16:38.37\00:16:40.69 Elisha stay here, I must go alone. 00:16:40.77\00:16:43.24 And I said as surely as the Lord lives, 00:16:44.04\00:16:46.10 I will not leave you master and he kind of 00:16:46.24\00:16:49.13 smiled and then he took this mantle and he 00:16:49.21\00:16:52.09 rolled it up and he struck the Jordan river 00:16:52.14\00:16:55.41 and the Jordan river just spread and there 00:16:55.92\00:16:59.04 was a dry path way right between in the river 00:16:59.07\00:17:01.65 and we are able to walk across on dry ground. 00:17:02.62\00:17:05.10 Now after that miracle I knew something 00:17:06.57\00:17:08.03 special is gonna happened and I wasn't 00:17:08.10\00:17:10.09 disappointed because very soon after we got 00:17:10.21\00:17:12.10 on to the other side I heard this sound that was 00:17:12.13\00:17:15.46 so beautiful, I can't even describe it. 00:17:15.49\00:17:18.16 And I looked up and it was like a shooting 00:17:18.77\00:17:22.10 star or a fiery chariot or something came 00:17:22.27\00:17:26.24 right down and swept in between me and 00:17:26.45\00:17:28.74 Elijah and it caught up Elijah and it took him 00:17:28.84\00:17:31.84 up into the sky and as he got further and 00:17:31.92\00:17:34.33 further away I saw him take something to 00:17:34.39\00:17:36.39 throw it behind him and then he disappeared 00:17:36.46\00:17:39.12 and this mantle landed right at my feet and 00:17:41.12\00:17:45.47 then I knew without a shadow of a doubt, 00:17:45.50\00:17:48.36 that I was the next Prophet of God. 00:17:48.46\00:17:51.50 I walked back to the Jordan river and I took 00:17:53.22\00:17:55.14 the mantle and I struck the water again and 00:17:55.17\00:17:58.41 there was a dry path for me to cross over. 00:17:59.01\00:18:01.16 I crossed over and now I've met you, 00:18:02.34\00:18:05.61 you're the first person I have told. 00:18:05.68\00:18:07.31 I don't know what God has in store for the 00:18:08.32\00:18:10.11 future, but I know that he will bless me 00:18:10.27\00:18:13.05 because before Elijah left he said is there 00:18:13.19\00:18:15.71 any thing I can give you and I said Elijah, 00:18:15.74\00:18:18.44 if you can give me one thing in the world 00:18:19.17\00:18:20.71 I would like a double portion of your spirit 00:18:21.18\00:18:23.61 and Elijah said, that's a hard thing you're 00:18:24.64\00:18:27.38 asking, but if you see me being taken into 00:18:27.44\00:18:30.40 heaven you will receive and praise the 00:18:30.49\00:18:34.49 Lord I saw him go up to heaven and I know 00:18:34.55\00:18:37.78 that Jehovah will fill me with two times the 00:18:38.45\00:18:41.22 spirit that Elijah have and I know that he's 00:18:41.25\00:18:45.16 going to do amazing things for this country. 00:18:45.26\00:18:47.30 So it is Elijah mantle. Yes it is. And you 00:18:49.43\00:18:53.26 have being chosen by God to be a Prophet. 00:18:53.29\00:18:55.95 Yes, I have Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. 00:18:56.49\00:18:59.65 Well I have to keep going, the schools of the 00:19:01.07\00:19:03.19 Prophets need to hear the story and they 00:19:03.30\00:19:05.34 need to know that when God calls you to 00:19:05.48\00:19:07.16 do something he will take care of you and 00:19:07.36\00:19:09.38 he will fill you with his Holy Spirit. 00:19:09.41\00:19:11.82 Can you bless me before you go? 00:19:12.10\00:19:13.37 I would love too. Father, please bless this man 00:19:13.65\00:19:17.32 and fill him with your spirit. Help us to stand 00:19:17.43\00:19:20.03 strong for you Amen. Praise the Lord. 00:19:20.16\00:19:23.28 Thank you. Praise the Lord. Thank you. 00:19:23.44\00:19:24.95 Hi boys and girls, it's time for Miss Brenda's 00:20:23.40\00:20:25.65 book of the day. And today I have a 00:20:25.86\00:20:28.69 wonderful book for you, it's call Step By 00:20:28.78\00:20:30.97 Step by Jerry D. Thomas, an incredible author 00:20:31.07\00:20:33.82 and he is written a book to help you 00:20:34.03\00:20:36.09 understand how to have a closer walk with 00:20:36.20\00:20:38.22 Jesus. And it's a wonderful book that I 00:20:38.29\00:20:40.70 highly recommend and I think any time that 00:20:40.78\00:20:42.87 we have a chance to learn how to be closer 00:20:43.02\00:20:45.04 to Jesus it's the thing to do, right? 00:20:45.10\00:20:47.77 And someone else that loves Jesus and always 00:20:48.14\00:20:51.38 wants a closer walk with him is my friend Alex. 00:20:51.43\00:20:54.02 Thank you Alex for being with us today I am 00:20:54.13\00:20:55.89 really, I am so glad that you are with in 00:20:56.04\00:20:57.51 Sharing Time. I actually met you at camp 00:20:57.66\00:20:58.63 meeting and when you shared your love for 00:21:00.12\00:21:01.77 Jesus, what was I telling you. You got to come 00:21:01.86\00:21:04.32 be here on Sharing Time, and I am thankful that 00:21:04.50\00:21:06.50 you came all the way from New York to 00:21:06.53\00:21:07.83 be here and you what did something with the 00:21:07.86\00:21:10.59 whole group of kids right and. Yes. Tell me, 00:21:10.70\00:21:13.23 tell me in fact I think we have a picture, 00:21:13.78\00:21:14.94 let's put the picture up real quick and this 00:21:15.16\00:21:17.26 is the picture of your whole group and where 00:21:17.29\00:21:21.05 did they go and what they did do. 00:21:21.08\00:21:22.24 We went on a mission trip to Riverton, 00:21:22.37\00:21:23.65 Wyoming in summer. And what was this 00:21:23.70\00:21:26.06 mission for what was the purpose? 00:21:26.19\00:21:27.94 We went to go and check out ourselves, 00:21:28.42\00:21:29.74 and the first week we did community service and 00:21:29.77\00:21:32.79 the second week we did a VBS for the kids. 00:21:32.94\00:21:34.88 And VBS is vacation Bible school. Now what do you 00:21:35.17\00:21:37.54 mean community service, what was that, what did 00:21:37.57\00:21:39.43 you do for that? We went around and we 00:21:39.46\00:21:40.97 build a old Church and we painted and we 00:21:41.05\00:21:43.93 made some houses for some people that didn't 00:21:44.17\00:21:45.65 have any. And what did they say were they 00:21:45.91\00:21:48.75 surprised that you were doing that. 00:21:48.88\00:21:50.07 They were so happy and they some of them with 00:21:50.10\00:21:51.23 surprises they are filling the houses. 00:21:51.39\00:21:52.84 And what about, you told me some lady 00:21:55.15\00:21:56.73 that you helped out a lot, what was that 00:21:56.76\00:21:59.40 about. We build the fence around her yard 00:21:59.51\00:22:01.61 to keep out the coyotes. Coyotes! I don't know 00:22:01.72\00:22:04.32 about you but I'm not comfortable with coyotes. 00:22:04.48\00:22:06.24 Do you think that picket fence could do it. 00:22:07.12\00:22:08.95 Oh yeah it was big. It was big, so was a good 00:22:09.13\00:22:11.26 one. Now the second week when you're doing 00:22:11.32\00:22:13.17 the vocation Bible school what did you 00:22:13.23\00:22:14.61 personally do. Well there is was this one little 00:22:14.64\00:22:16.54 boy named Julian, and we have this huge VBS 00:22:16.63\00:22:19.98 for all the kids, and he was our trouble maker. 00:22:20.07\00:22:22.63 Oh dear and older he? He was 6 years old. 00:22:22.97\00:22:25.30 Okay and what was that like with somebody that 00:22:25.79\00:22:28.92 was really trying your patience. 00:22:28.99\00:22:30.12 He just wouldn't listen, he wont do any 00:22:30.65\00:22:32.27 thing that he was supposed to do and he was 00:22:32.33\00:22:34.13 always that running around trying to knock 00:22:34.21\00:22:35.54 things over. But by the end of the week he 00:22:35.68\00:22:37.75 decided to follow Jesus and he calmed down 00:22:37.78\00:22:39.68 he was like perfect. What was he telling 00:22:39.74\00:22:42.98 you before you, before you left. He said 00:22:43.10\00:22:45.39 that he wanted to meet me in heaven by 00:22:45.55\00:22:46.67 the life tree. 'Cause you have being telling 00:22:46.73\00:22:49.99 about the tree of life and he call that the life 00:22:50.03\00:22:51.70 tree that's so cute and you know God's used 00:22:51.81\00:22:55.38 you to touch his heart. Yes. And how did that 00:22:55.41\00:22:57.49 make you feel? It was amazing to be used by 00:22:57.54\00:22:59.41 the God like that. And what did you think 00:22:59.62\00:23:01.19 when you were driving away, the trip is over 00:23:01.22\00:23:03.69 and you're on the way home. What were you 00:23:03.91\00:23:05.10 thinking? That I learned a lot about God 00:23:05.14\00:23:07.13 and I can really shine for Jesus.
