It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:03.27\00:00:06.63 Looking for a friend like Jesus. 00:00:06.83\00:00:09.74 It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:09.77\00:00:13.38 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:13.41\00:00:16.58 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:16.86\00:00:19.64 Kids time, kids time, kids time, 00:00:20.06\00:00:24.68 Hi boys and girls, have you ever been out 00:00:24.71\00:00:26.38 in a boat, out on the sea when the wind comes up. 00:00:26.41\00:00:28.51 Now, I'd like you to picture in your mind 00:00:28.58\00:00:30.38 when there is no wind at all. 00:00:30.41\00:00:31.80 Did you know you can actually see it, 00:00:31.83\00:00:33.85 it's like, looks as smooth as glass, 00:00:33.88\00:00:35.76 in fact I bet you can almost see your 00:00:35.79\00:00:37.70 reflection in the water. All you hear though 00:00:37.73\00:00:40.27 is the water splashing up against the side 00:00:40.30\00:00:42.34 of the boat. Well, pretty soon you feel 00:00:42.37\00:00:44.26 a little breeze, and you know what you're going 00:00:44.29\00:00:45.68 to notice that the water is not quite so smooth 00:00:45.71\00:00:47.97 as it was before. And do you know when the waves 00:00:48.00\00:00:50.68 get really big, when they start getting bigger, 00:00:50.71\00:00:53.28 and bigger, and bigger. Do you know what happens? 00:00:53.31\00:00:55.54 The waves, they start to crust in the white caps 00:00:56.10\00:00:58.55 and all of a sudden you will hear them 00:00:58.58\00:00:59.57 splashing up against the side of your boat. 00:00:59.60\00:01:01.56 Well, finally the waves are going to get so big, 00:01:02.03\00:01:04.44 that it feels like you're sailing up over a 00:01:04.47\00:01:06.37 mountain and down into the valley. 00:01:06.40\00:01:07.92 By that time I bet you're inside the cabin 00:01:08.44\00:01:11.42 steering the boat, through the waves just trying 00:01:11.45\00:01:14.49 to keep from capsizing. And I bet you're 00:01:14.52\00:01:16.46 praying that God will protect you from the 00:01:16.49\00:01:18.27 storm, right. Would you be tempted to jump out 00:01:18.30\00:01:21.27 of the boat and try to swim to shore 00:01:21.30\00:01:22.84 in that kind of weather, I wouldn't, 00:01:22.87\00:01:24.76 I'd be wishing I was just back home in my own 00:01:24.79\00:01:27.35 soft bed waiting out the storm in safety. 00:01:27.38\00:01:29.75 Well Jesus disciples found themselves caught 00:01:29.99\00:01:32.71 in that kind of storm once. They were very, 00:01:32.74\00:01:34.99 very afraid, and they were so busy working 00:01:35.14\00:01:37.25 to keep the boat upright, and moving ahead, 00:01:37.28\00:01:39.21 that they didn't even notice something out 00:01:39.66\00:01:42.84 on the water until all of a sudden they looked 00:01:42.87\00:01:44.85 out there, and they were ah there is something 00:01:44.88\00:01:47.11 strange out in the distance. 00:01:47.14\00:01:48.89 What was coming towards them? 00:01:49.04\00:01:51.00 Was that another boat, no? They looked 00:01:51.03\00:01:54.07 a little closer, no it wasn't a boat, 00:01:54.10\00:01:56.42 what was it, what is it. It was so strange 00:01:56.45\00:01:59.50 looking that they were more afraid of it, 00:01:59.53\00:02:01.06 than they were of the storm. What could it be? 00:02:01.09\00:02:03.25 But you're gonna to find out in just a little bit 00:02:03.94\00:02:06.77 when you hear one of the disciples tell us 00:02:06.80\00:02:08.63 the story. But first, Ranger Jim has 00:02:08.66\00:02:11.35 something interesting to tell us about. 00:02:11.38\00:02:13.00 Hi boys and girls, Ranger Jim saying 00:02:20.32\00:02:22.02 welcome to Nature Time. We are glad to be 00:02:22.05\00:02:23.54 with us today, we have a special treat for you. 00:02:23.57\00:02:25.54 We have our friend Grandpa Bill 00:02:25.57\00:02:27.50 and his son Carl Ed, and he is going to show us 00:02:27.53\00:02:30.05 something about his treasure that 00:02:30.08\00:02:31.40 he has here. Bill would you show us 00:02:31.48\00:02:33.23 something about these things. 00:02:33.26\00:02:34.42 Well, I want to first welcome you to my small 00:02:34.45\00:02:37.80 museum and we're glad to had you, 00:02:37.83\00:02:39.89 and I am happy to show some of the things 00:02:39.92\00:02:42.97 that we have collected here, 00:02:43.00\00:02:44.33 that may be some of your youngsters would be 00:02:44.36\00:02:47.45 glad to see. Would you pick up a rock like that? 00:02:47.48\00:02:50.45 No, I don't believe I would. 00:02:50.48\00:02:52.09 Don't look like much of a rock to me. 00:02:52.12\00:02:54.24 Well, I want to tell you something here, 00:02:54.93\00:02:56.87 I am going to give you one that's been split 00:02:56.90\00:02:59.67 open and you might be, what you find here. 00:02:59.70\00:03:02.66 Oh yeah, I'll pick that one up, I will take that. 00:03:02.69\00:03:05.45 Alright. Well, that's what these are. 00:03:05.48\00:03:07.59 That's what these here, these here the make, 00:03:07.84\00:03:10.52 different age, that's to all they were here, 00:03:11.34\00:03:14.75 but most of them apparently exist here, 00:03:15.17\00:03:17.14 this is the Clematis squirrel, flat leaf 00:03:17.17\00:03:20.43 and this here is the ancient fern which grew 00:03:20.46\00:03:24.04 to 60 to 80 feet tall. Ferns we have today 00:03:24.07\00:03:27.92 just grow about that high here. 00:03:27.95\00:03:29.58 You go out around on the rivers and out 00:03:29.61\00:03:31.82 in the mountains there, but back at that time 00:03:31.85\00:03:35.18 they grew huge, and we these were plants, 00:03:35.21\00:03:41.48 these rocks here are found down in 00:03:41.51\00:03:43.44 Southern Illinois, lower part, about 60 miles 00:03:44.28\00:03:49.87 from Chicago and this place here is a 00:03:49.90\00:03:54.82 flat country. Here in Tennessee we have to mine 00:03:54.85\00:03:58.38 into the mountains, they got a whole tunnel go 00:03:58.41\00:04:02.21 and dig it out and pull it out, but up there 00:04:02.24\00:04:05.42 they just dig on that flat country and pop bring 00:04:05.45\00:04:08.86 the dirt up and get down to the coal 00:04:08.89\00:04:12.64 and when they're throwing that dirt out 00:04:13.18\00:04:15.89 these are not those of the fern there 00:04:16.20\00:04:18.40 and they split that with a little sharp, 00:04:18.43\00:04:22.08 very sharp little chisel and hit it 00:04:22.38\00:04:26.01 and they just readily open up. 00:04:26.13\00:04:28.82 Bill, why don't you tell them 00:04:29.02\00:04:30.09 what a nodule is and how it's formed. 00:04:30.12\00:04:31.83 Okay, I'll tell you, these trees live along 00:04:33.28\00:04:39.16 the shores of the ancient lake or seas 00:04:39.19\00:04:42.49 there at one time. When one time that part 00:04:42.52\00:04:45.63 of the country was covered by the ocean there, 00:04:45.66\00:04:47.73 and they are all in there, and leaves, 00:04:47.93\00:04:52.09 these here fern leaves were falling in there 00:04:52.23\00:04:54.64 and way come in and just rolled it over 00:04:54.67\00:04:58.43 and just like this here, caught and pick up that 00:04:58.46\00:05:01.23 dirt there, and finally fossilized out 00:05:01.26\00:05:04.89 and got in the ocean there, this rolled in there. 00:05:04.92\00:05:07.88 Amazing. Whole period of years 00:05:07.91\00:05:09.86 and they hardened into stoned here. 00:05:09.89\00:05:12.55 See when you're right in the envelope, it's dry mud. 00:05:12.58\00:05:14.30 That's right, that's right. 00:05:14.33\00:05:15.30 And then it hardened and so all of, all these 00:05:15.31\00:05:17.96 are found just above the stream of coal. 00:05:17.99\00:05:20.13 That's right, yeah, but and you can see what's 00:05:20.16\00:05:25.32 all in the thing, you will see 00:05:25.35\00:05:26.52 this flat edge around here. 00:05:26.55\00:05:28.24 Oh yes, you get a sharp chisel hit that 00:05:28.27\00:05:31.05 and it just readily open up there. But you never 00:05:31.08\00:05:34.64 know what you're going to get do you. 00:05:34.67\00:05:35.81 We don't know, you might get a bug, 00:05:35.84\00:05:37.35 I have some bugs and things here, 00:05:37.38\00:05:39.55 but I'm just showing the fern leaves here 00:05:39.58\00:05:41.41 because I thought it's beautiful. 00:05:41.44\00:05:42.68 You see these here mates. 00:05:42.84\00:05:44.69 Alright. Mates here. Okay. 00:05:44.72\00:05:46.70 Well now that's beautiful. Now, you see 00:05:47.15\00:05:48.61 boys and girls we have learned from an expert 00:05:48.64\00:05:51.03 and we've learned about this today, 00:05:51.06\00:05:52.79 so this is wonderful to know and this is 00:05:52.82\00:05:55.61 Ranger Jim again telling you as always, 00:05:55.64\00:05:57.66 don't forget to tell Jesus that you love him 00:05:57.69\00:06:00.13 because he really does love you. 00:06:00.16\00:06:02.65 What. You hear that. Yeah. 00:06:19.34\00:06:21.12 Why do you mean just yes, there is lion, 00:06:21.70\00:06:23.83 you hear these noises, aren't you scared, 00:06:23.86\00:06:25.79 I am and I am bigger than you. 00:06:25.82\00:06:27.59 No, because I have learned 00:06:27.87\00:06:29.40 I can go anywhere with Jesus. 00:06:29.43\00:06:31.33 Anywhere? Anywhere. 00:06:31.36\00:06:32.92 Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go. 00:06:37.49\00:06:40.69 Anywhere He leads me in this world below; 00:06:40.72\00:06:44.42 Anywhere without Him dearest joys would fade; 00:06:44.45\00:06:48.13 Anywhere with Jesus I am not afraid. 00:06:48.16\00:06:51.72 Anywhere, anywhere! Fear I cannot know; 00:06:51.75\00:06:59.03 Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go. 00:06:59.54\00:07:02.72 Anywhere with Jesus I can go to sleep, 00:07:06.02\00:07:09.06 When the gloomy shadows all round about me creep, 00:07:09.40\00:07:12.74 Knowing I shall waken nevermore to roam; 00:07:13.26\00:07:16.34 Anywhere with Jesus will be home, sweet home. 00:07:16.37\00:07:19.88 Anywhere, anywhere! Fear I cannot know; 00:07:20.20\00:07:27.33 Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go. 00:07:27.69\00:07:31.07 Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go. 00:07:31.38\00:07:37.78 You know I am not scared anymore, camping rocks. 00:07:38.67\00:07:41.19 Camping rocks, they're right there. 00:07:42.84\00:07:44.47 Welcome to learning time. 00:07:53.87\00:07:55.22 Thanks for joining us today. 00:07:55.34\00:07:57.14 I've got a good helper with me Brittany, 00:07:57.17\00:07:59.32 thanks for helping us today. 00:07:59.35\00:08:00.57 You're welcome. Hey, and thanks for being here. 00:08:00.60\00:08:02.54 Have you ever wondered how fish 00:08:02.57\00:08:04.96 can float or you know sometimes we see fish 00:08:04.99\00:08:07.76 that they're really high up maybe if you have 00:08:07.79\00:08:09.80 an aquarium at home and they go to the kind 00:08:09.83\00:08:11.91 of the surface and they're swimming way up high 00:08:11.94\00:08:13.62 in the aquarium, and sometimes they are way 00:08:13.65\00:08:16.08 down below in the low areas of the aquarium. 00:08:16.11\00:08:18.27 Sometimes Brittany, they're sitting in there 00:08:18.30\00:08:20.39 and swimming in the middle of the aquarium. 00:08:20.42\00:08:22.15 Now, how do they get from the top to the bottom 00:08:22.18\00:08:24.19 and how do they do that anyways, have any idea. 00:08:24.22\00:08:26.83 No, well, today that's what's it all about. 00:08:26.86\00:08:29.55 How can a fish float when it wants to 00:08:29.58\00:08:32.16 and sink when it doesn't want to. 00:08:32.19\00:08:34.10 Well we've got something that you might 00:08:34.37\00:08:36.00 have at home, and we, we talked about this 00:08:36.03\00:08:38.53 another time. This happens to be an eye dropper, 00:08:38.69\00:08:40.89 you can take an eye dropper and just put 00:08:40.92\00:08:43.41 in some water like this in a two liter bottle 00:08:43.44\00:08:45.88 or you might want a take a little tiny drink 00:08:45.91\00:08:48.25 bottle like this. It works in these little bottles too. 00:08:48.28\00:08:50.48 So, our little dropper is going to be like 00:08:50.70\00:08:52.97 our fish, I mean it's really not a fish, right. 00:08:53.00\00:08:55.66 No. And you might even have a little pack of 00:08:55.69\00:08:57.93 ketchup or hot sauce or something like this, 00:08:57.96\00:09:00.29 and that can be a little fish too. 00:09:00.32\00:09:02.61 So, you don't need specialized pieces 00:09:02.77\00:09:04.87 of equipment. So, why don't you put that right 00:09:04.90\00:09:06.56 in your bottle Brittany. That's our fish, 00:09:06.59\00:09:08.98 now if the fish wants to go down into the water, 00:09:09.18\00:09:11.89 it has to change something, 00:09:11.92\00:09:14.49 because it likes to float if it has a lot of 00:09:14.62\00:09:17.21 air inside of it. What do fish breathe? 00:09:17.24\00:09:19.16 Gills. They breathe, yeah they breathe 00:09:19.87\00:09:21.32 through their gills, right. Yes, yes. 00:09:21.35\00:09:22.88 And the gills take the oxygen that's 00:09:22.91\00:09:24.54 in the water and the fish can breathe 00:09:24.57\00:09:26.95 that oxygen. Now, do you have gills? 00:09:26.98\00:09:29.71 No. Do you have gills at home? No. 00:09:29.74\00:09:32.87 Well, probably not but we don't have gills. 00:09:32.90\00:09:34.73 But a fish happens to have an air bladder, 00:09:34.76\00:09:37.96 that means it's like a balloon sort of 00:09:37.99\00:09:40.26 and that fish can pump air into that air bladder, 00:09:40.29\00:09:43.46 so it can be lighter. So, it can float when 00:09:43.49\00:09:45.79 it wants to go up to the top of the water. 00:09:45.82\00:09:47.94 And so we're going to put this little fizz keeper 00:09:47.97\00:09:50.83 that helps to keep our favorite soft drink 00:09:50.92\00:09:53.85 from getting all flat, we want to have a lot of 00:09:53.88\00:09:56.12 bubbles in our soft drink, don't we. Yeah, 00:09:56.15\00:09:58.09 but we don't want to drink too much soft drink, 00:09:58.12\00:10:00.02 that's not good for us. But why don't you 00:10:00.05\00:10:01.90 go ahead and put this right on top of yours, 00:10:01.93\00:10:03.58 and when you put that in there it has 00:10:03.61\00:10:05.31 to be just full of water, and see some of that 00:10:05.34\00:10:07.77 water come out, that's okay. We want a little 00:10:07.80\00:10:09.86 drainage to come out there. I'm going to put 00:10:09.89\00:10:12.14 the lid on my bottle right here, and let's see 00:10:12.17\00:10:14.91 what we can do. Now, there is a little air 00:10:14.94\00:10:17.41 chamber in my eye dropper, I mean 00:10:17.44\00:10:19.50 there is air inside of there and a little bit 00:10:19.53\00:10:21.02 of water, and in that little package 00:10:21.05\00:10:22.79 right there Brittany that happens to be some 00:10:22.82\00:10:24.57 air that's in the package and there is also hot 00:10:24.60\00:10:27.29 sauce as well. Now, if we put some pressure 00:10:27.32\00:10:30.60 on the bottle and Brittany can do that 00:10:30.63\00:10:32.77 by pumping some air in there. 00:10:32.80\00:10:34.21 Why don't you to do that slowly. 00:10:34.24\00:10:35.30 We are going to put some pressure on there, 00:10:35.41\00:10:38.24 and you know what's going to happen, 00:10:38.27\00:10:39.41 wow, ah! What's happening to that little packet? 00:10:39.44\00:10:41.27 It goes down. Okay that's good, 00:10:42.05\00:10:44.05 we don't want to blow the bottle up, 00:10:44.08\00:10:45.26 it won't be a good idea. But what happened 00:10:45.42\00:10:47.76 that air chamber inside that little packet 00:10:47.79\00:10:49.95 of hot sauce, we compressed it, that means 00:10:49.98\00:10:52.57 some of that air instead of being a big air chamber 00:10:52.60\00:10:55.33 inside that packet got smaller because 00:10:55.36\00:10:57.46 it got compressed, we squeezed the air 00:10:57.49\00:10:59.81 molecules together, and they take up less room. 00:10:59.84\00:11:02.11 Well, inside here we have our eye dropper, 00:11:02.23\00:11:04.47 and all I have to do with this one is to squeeze it 00:11:04.50\00:11:07.04 with my hands, look at there. Can you try that, 00:11:07.07\00:11:09.24 try out, can you squeeze that with your hands? 00:11:09.27\00:11:10.79 And it goes all the way down, 00:11:11.09\00:11:13.04 we're compressing the air inside of the dropper 00:11:13.07\00:11:15.34 that makes less volume of air. 00:11:15.37\00:11:17.55 Hey, so that tells us something very special 00:11:17.58\00:11:20.00 about the fish. If the fish wants to go down 00:11:20.03\00:11:22.60 all they have to do is put more air volume 00:11:22.81\00:11:26.17 in their bladder, in their swim bladder, 00:11:26.20\00:11:27.91 and they can go where? Down. 00:11:27.94\00:11:29.68 They can go from down. They can go up. 00:11:29.71\00:11:31.58 if they put more air in it. 00:11:31.61\00:11:32.78 Hey, can you make yours go back up, 00:11:32.81\00:11:34.41 lets take the pressure, now we're gonna have 00:11:34.50\00:11:37.00 to unscrew a little bit. Takes some pressure off 00:11:37.03\00:11:39.55 of that and that volume of air gets bigger 00:11:39.58\00:11:41.88 in the package and it floats. 00:11:41.91\00:11:43.41 That's exactly what the fish do. You know man 00:11:43.64\00:11:47.44 has made somethings that go up and down 00:11:47.47\00:11:49.61 in the water too. Can you think of something 00:11:49.64\00:11:51.89 that goes up and down in the water that 00:11:52.08\00:11:54.06 may be people might go in as a ship of some kind. 00:11:54.09\00:11:57.37 Submarine. A submarine, submarines go up and down 00:11:57.40\00:12:00.33 because they fill chambers of water with air, 00:12:00.36\00:12:03.71 and it gets lighter and can float up, 00:12:03.74\00:12:06.01 that's interesting, isn't it? 00:12:06.28\00:12:07.96 Yes. Well, hey, I am glad that God created 00:12:07.99\00:12:11.12 those fish and those fish can go anywhere 00:12:11.15\00:12:13.15 they want in that column of water. 00:12:13.18\00:12:14.92 All they have to do is pump more air in their 00:12:15.17\00:12:17.48 swim bladder, wouldn't you like to have 00:12:17.51\00:12:19.42 a swim bladder. It would be interesting wouldn't it. 00:12:19.45\00:12:22.28 We have to use scuba tanks and stuff like that. 00:12:22.31\00:12:24.58 Well, every time we learn something new 00:12:24.79\00:12:27.05 about science, we are learning 00:12:27.08\00:12:28.78 something about our creator, God. 00:12:28.81\00:12:31.70 Andrew, Andrew did you hear the storm last night? 00:14:09.50\00:14:12.42 The storm last night. I thought my house 00:14:12.45\00:14:14.05 was going to fall down. The storm, 00:14:14.08\00:14:15.40 did you all hear the storm. Yes. 00:14:15.43\00:14:17.33 Well, let me tell you about the storm last night 00:14:17.36\00:14:19.72 on the sea in a boat. You were on a boat? 00:14:19.75\00:14:25.79 The boat, you've been swimming 00:14:25.82\00:14:27.93 in the sea, haven't you? Yes. 00:14:27.96\00:14:29.19 So, I was on the boat, Jesus you heard 00:14:29.83\00:14:31.61 about him feeding the five thousand. 00:14:31.64\00:14:33.14 Yes, just yesterday, and so he sent us away. 00:14:33.17\00:14:36.16 He said go across the sea. Well, we wanted 00:14:36.19\00:14:39.35 to talk with the people and we retired 00:14:39.38\00:14:40.98 and we waited and it got late. 00:14:41.01\00:14:43.10 And Jesus has told us we are supposed to go, 00:14:43.13\00:14:45.44 but well, we were enjoying ourselves 00:14:45.47\00:14:47.68 and so it was finally, it was night fall, 00:14:47.90\00:14:49.70 the sun was setting, and we got in the boat. 00:14:49.73\00:14:51.91 And sure we're going across and well the winds 00:14:51.94\00:14:55.62 began to pick up and we decided we better hurry, 00:14:55.65\00:14:58.60 but before that we could count it, 00:14:58.63\00:15:01.09 here came the storm, the wind was starting 00:15:01.27\00:15:04.05 to just swirl around the boat and those 00:15:04.08\00:15:06.40 waves are becoming fiercer and fiercer. 00:15:06.43\00:15:08.44 Really? We were fearing for our very lives, 00:15:08.82\00:15:11.23 the winds were unbelievable. 00:15:11.26\00:15:12.88 We thought we would be capsized, 00:15:12.91\00:15:14.75 and then you think that's bad, 00:15:15.61\00:15:16.79 you think that's bad, we saw 00:15:16.82\00:15:18.84 what we thought was a ghost. 00:15:18.87\00:15:20.17 A ghost! A ghost, there was some kind of, 00:15:20.20\00:15:22.63 some kind of spirit, some kind of something 00:15:22.66\00:15:24.69 coming across the water. It was Jesus. 00:15:24.72\00:15:28.69 Wait, wait, Jesus! Jesus, this Jesus, 00:15:29.50\00:15:32.53 it was Jesus coming across the water to us, 00:15:33.02\00:15:36.48 and now, now you know my brother Peter don't you. 00:15:36.64\00:15:39.28 Yes. And you know my brother 00:15:39.44\00:15:41.46 Peter's mouth don't you. Yes. 00:15:41.49\00:15:43.78 Well Peter gets the idea in his mind, and it comes 00:15:45.28\00:15:48.23 out of his mouth. Well, Lord if it's you, 00:15:48.26\00:15:50.53 bade me to come across the water. 00:15:51.06\00:15:52.76 And do you know what Jesus told him. 00:15:55.60\00:15:57.62 No. Come Peter. On the water. 00:15:57.65\00:16:01.93 On the water. Without the boat. 00:16:02.43\00:16:05.52 Without the boat on the water, 00:16:05.67\00:16:07.54 you understand Jesus wasn't in the boat, 00:16:07.57\00:16:09.86 Jesus was walking on the water I told you already. 00:16:09.89\00:16:12.22 Jesus was walking on the water. 00:16:12.41\00:16:14.72 We thought he was a ghost for doing this, 00:16:14.75\00:16:16.51 and back to what Peter, I was telling you 00:16:16.54\00:16:19.04 about Peter. Peter said Jesus asked me 00:16:19.07\00:16:23.13 to come out and Jesus told him to, 00:16:23.16\00:16:24.76 and Peter got to the edge of the boat, 00:16:25.68\00:16:28.24 and he was shaking, and he started, he waited 00:16:28.52\00:16:33.59 and we were all watching fearful for 00:16:33.62\00:16:35.53 what happened. Sure that Peter would 00:16:35.56\00:16:37.43 sink right to the bottom. Oh! Yes. And he stepped 00:16:37.46\00:16:42.67 What! And he just stood there right on top 00:16:43.46\00:16:47.08 of the water. Just as I were holding you 00:16:47.11\00:16:49.57 on top of it, he just stayed right there, 00:16:49.60\00:16:52.34 and he was just looking at Jesus, and he just kept 00:16:53.68\00:16:56.98 walking towards him, and then you know 00:16:57.01\00:17:00.80 the storm was so great, the wind, and the waves 00:17:00.83\00:17:03.39 were just crashing everywhere, 00:17:03.42\00:17:04.70 and I guess Peter's vision got blocked by 00:17:05.66\00:17:08.61 the waves, like that he sunk straight 00:17:08.64\00:17:12.71 to the bottom, but Jesus immediately was there 00:17:12.74\00:17:16.68 to grab him, immediately he just pulled him back up. 00:17:16.71\00:17:19.93 Praise the Lord. I can't even, I can't even begin 00:17:20.86\00:17:30.40 to describe it, Jesus was just there immediately 00:17:30.43\00:17:33.19 and then things were peaceful, things were 00:17:33.39\00:17:35.47 calm, the wind, the waves it was 00:17:35.50\00:17:37.42 all stopped, it was just peaceful. 00:17:37.45\00:17:40.39 Oh wow Jesus. And Jesus was just there with us 00:17:40.42\00:17:45.37 and there was a peace, just not the peace 00:17:45.40\00:17:48.23 of the storm but a peace in our hearts, 00:17:48.26\00:17:50.61 just having Jesus there with us. 00:17:51.01\00:17:53.09 This man Jesus is peace, not just to the wind 00:17:54.04\00:17:58.55 and waves, but to our hearts. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus 00:17:58.58\00:18:03.87 He calmed that storm last night, Jesus calmed 00:18:03.90\00:18:08.17 that storm. Andy, you got to tell me more 00:18:08.20\00:18:11.80 about this Jesus. I will come let's go, 00:18:11.83\00:18:13.89 I will tell you more. So we were on this boat... 00:18:13.92\00:18:16.86 I can do all things in Christ who gives 00:18:27.41\00:18:30.30 me strength, Philippians 4:13. 00:18:30.33\00:18:33.79 [Unknown Language] 00:18:35.99\00:19:18.52 Hi boys and girls, I am here with Kayzia 00:19:27.12\00:19:29.39 and Kendra, and guess what. 00:19:29.42\00:19:30.97 It's time for Ms. Brenda's book of the day. 00:19:31.00\00:19:33.64 And oh what a precious and wonderful book 00:19:35.10\00:19:37.18 this is boys and girls, you are going to love it, 00:19:37.21\00:19:39.14 it is called Sally the Runaway Monkey, 00:19:39.17\00:19:41.05 its by Ethel Maxine Neff, and this book 00:19:41.08\00:19:44.06 was one of Ms. Brenda's favorite books 00:19:44.09\00:19:45.79 when I was little girl. It's a true story about 00:19:45.82\00:19:48.49 this monkey. This is Sally the Runaway Monkey, 00:19:48.52\00:19:51.35 and do you know why she ran away? 00:19:51.38\00:19:53.13 One afternoon she went to visit the dentist 00:19:53.49\00:19:55.74 and he put her in his big chair and he tied 00:19:55.77\00:19:57.83 a bevel under her chin. Then he got ready to pull 00:19:57.86\00:20:00.07 two of Sally's teeth. Oh but Sally didn't 00:20:00.10\00:20:04.25 like that, she took one look at those shiny 00:20:04.28\00:20:06.99 tools on the dentist table, and do you know 00:20:07.02\00:20:09.14 what she did? She leaped out of the dentist chair, 00:20:09.17\00:20:12.36 ran to a window, opened the screen 00:20:12.39\00:20:13.85 and popped out quick as a wink. Sally slid down 00:20:13.88\00:20:17.06 the drain pipe, and she ran into some bushes, 00:20:17.09\00:20:19.35 and the dentist called help, help, help 00:20:19.38\00:20:21.37 catch Sally. Do you think they caught her, 00:20:21.40\00:20:23.70 oh you're gonna have to read the book 00:20:23.73\00:20:25.44 boys and girls.
