It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:03.58\00:00:06.89 looking for a friend like Jesus. It's time to share 00:00:07.27\00:00:11.86 there's a world out there. Let's tell them 00:00:11.94\00:00:14.34 that He loves us so. Let's tell them that He loves 00:00:14.47\00:00:18.72 us so.Kids time, kids time, kids time. 00:00:18.75\00:00:25.30 Hi, boys and girls. Did you know that long before 00:00:25.33\00:00:27.28 our world was created there was a beautiful 00:00:27.31\00:00:29.26 angel, who lived up in heaven with God and all 00:00:29.56\00:00:31.80 the other angels. God had created him to be so 00:00:31.89\00:00:35.09 beautiful and so talented that he received lot of 00:00:35.27\00:00:38.09 attention from the other angels. And God trusted 00:00:38.29\00:00:40.69 him with special responsibilities, but 00:00:40.81\00:00:43.61 somewhere along the line this beautiful angel 00:00:43.79\00:00:45.92 begin to think he was more beautiful and more 00:00:46.16\00:00:48.50 powerful then he actually was. And he begin to 00:00:48.59\00:00:51.26 complaint to the other angels that maybe just 00:00:51.47\00:00:53.58 maybe God's wasn't fair and good God. Many 00:00:53.61\00:00:56.64 of the angels listen to him and soon begin to 00:00:56.67\00:00:58.94 think like him. They begin to question God's 00:00:59.14\00:01:01.39 goodness and, and also to wonder whether or not 00:01:01.48\00:01:03.88 life in heaven was that great after all. That's 00:01:04.08\00:01:07.35 begin the saddest story ever told. A story that 00:01:07.45\00:01:10.31 you and I are still living today and that was the 00:01:10.35\00:01:12.95 beginning of sin boys and girls. It started with just 00:01:13.05\00:01:15.86 one selfish thought. Now, I want you to think 00:01:15.98\00:01:18.61 about that all of the sin in the universe begin 00:01:18.69\00:01:20.94 with just one selfish thought and in fact if 00:01:21.12\00:01:24.59 you thought about it long enough, I'm certain you 00:01:24.62\00:01:27.40 would trace each of your sins to selfish thoughts 00:01:27.43\00:01:30.05 too. You know, there is a story in the Bible that 00:01:30.27\00:01:32.52 sounds very much like the story of the beautiful 00:01:32.66\00:01:34.79 angel and that happened during the ruin of King 00:01:34.97\00:01:37.16 David over the Israel. Well, we'll hear that 00:01:37.23\00:01:39.86 story today, but first before we hear that story 00:01:40.04\00:01:43.03 it's time to go see what Ranger Jim has to show us 00:01:43.68\00:01:46.38 today. And I can't wait boys and girls because 00:01:46.52\00:01:48.79 you know what Ranger Jim always has something 00:01:48.87\00:01:51.16 exciting, doesn't he? Let's take a look right now. 00:01:51.34\00:01:54.09 Hi, boys and girls, Ranger Jim saying welcome 00:02:02.00\00:02:03.88 to Nature Time. We're glad you can join us today. 00:02:04.08\00:02:06.06 We're at the Chattanooga Audubon Society and 00:02:06.50\00:02:09.09 my friend here Nature Dan. Dan, what in the 00:02:09.20\00:02:11.96 world are you picking? Well, I'll tell you this 00:02:12.20\00:02:14.25 is a common flower. You know, what it is? 00:02:14.28\00:02:17.07 Yes, it is. Dandelion. Now, I want to tell you 00:02:17.22\00:02:20.17 some interesting things about the Dandelion. 00:02:20.29\00:02:22.47 We're often just kind a walk on by and we don't 00:02:22.97\00:02:25.32 really pay much attention. We don't think about it 00:02:25.50\00:02:27.52 because there it is. This Dandelion plant on 00:02:27.82\00:02:29.43 all things, all over the yard everywhere. But this 00:02:29.53\00:02:32.61 thing is really need. How did you get its name? 00:02:32.71\00:02:35.31 Alright, well I'll tell you, a couple of ways it got 00:02:36.37\00:02:39.60 its name. It's called Dandelion now that comes 00:02:39.68\00:02:43.11 from Dante Loo, which is well it means tooth of 00:02:43.24\00:02:47.32 the lion. And it meant, they had these yellow 00:02:47.35\00:02:49.79 teeth, but it was also Dandelion and there were 00:02:49.89\00:02:53.51 these little, if you can see the edges of it and 00:02:53.72\00:02:56.07 means tooth of the lion like the sharp teeth of a 00:02:56.10\00:02:58.71 lion and that turned into eventually, Dandelion. 00:02:58.91\00:03:03.49 Yes. Now, is it a good plant or bad plant? 00:03:04.11\00:03:07.12 Oh! It's a good plant for me because I love the 00:03:07.15\00:03:08.95 insects and I love bees and the bees come early 00:03:09.03\00:03:11.35 in the spring and get pollen and. 00:03:11.38\00:03:12.70 Yes, absolutely right. It's part of natures plan. 00:03:13.18\00:03:15.67 It's the way that God puts everything together; 00:03:15.94\00:03:17.98 everything is out there for this. In fact, this 00:03:18.37\00:03:20.85 plant is medicine and it's food. Yes, it is, I've 00:03:21.07\00:03:24.61 eaten this. And friends it is like five different 00:03:24.82\00:03:27.05 varieties that you can grow of Dandelion for the 00:03:27.36\00:03:30.74 vegetable garden. My mother used to cut in the 00:03:30.77\00:03:33.17 spring of the year, she would go on and get 00:03:33.44\00:03:34.43 Dandelion green. Oh! She called it like, oh, 00:03:34.46\00:03:35.74 yeah, makes a wonderful salad just pack full of 00:03:36.33\00:03:38.58 vitamins. Absolutely, and good for you. It's better 00:03:38.72\00:03:40.87 than spinach. It is one of the best vegetables here, 00:03:41.03\00:03:43.99 but we forget about it. The other thing is, it's 00:03:44.02\00:03:46.26 actually good for the lawn. You know, it pulls 00:03:46.34\00:03:48.88 up nutrients and stuff out of the ground and it 00:03:48.99\00:03:51.82 brings it up so that the grass can have it to be 00:03:51.85\00:03:54.01 able to help to grow. Yeah, but what do we 00:03:54.04\00:03:55.90 today, people wanna a perfectly green lawn, so 00:03:56.15\00:03:58.83 they go out and they poison the dandelion, 00:03:59.06\00:04:01.66 right, isn't that terrible. It is and it makes the 00:04:01.72\00:04:03.62 lawn a worse place. So, it's much better to 00:04:03.81\00:04:06.26 learn to like Dandelions. Absolutely, just have 00:04:06.52\00:04:09.71 them out there and every mother remembers well. 00:04:09.85\00:04:13.06 The first bouquet they usually got, didn't they? 00:04:13.67\00:04:15.93 Okay, because I know my wife she was so, she 00:04:16.15\00:04:19.08 would keep them in a glass of water till they 00:04:19.13\00:04:20.63 wilted down, where I would say, you're gonna 00:04:20.86\00:04:22.87 have to throw them out, but she know, but 00:04:23.04\00:04:24.84 because the children would come in with a big 00:04:25.03\00:04:26.78 bouquet and boys and girls you would most 00:04:26.89\00:04:28.60 likely have done that also, pick a big bouquet 00:04:28.74\00:04:31.23 of flower for your mother and bring them in. 00:04:31.39\00:04:33.45 Do you remember, Nature Dan with children 00:04:33.75\00:04:35.60 come in with yellow noses. I absolutely do. 00:04:35.75\00:04:38.65 They would pick their flowers and bring them in 00:04:38.96\00:04:40.60 like that. Now, there is another thing that some 00:04:41.09\00:04:43.41 people and Satan always has a counterfeit and 00:04:43.70\00:04:46.43 always has a way of destroying what God 00:04:46.59\00:04:49.61 intended and so the, this tiny little flower 00:04:49.87\00:04:52.87 the Dandelion has enough sugar content in it 00:04:53.14\00:04:55.48 that it will ferment and so some people have this 00:04:55.97\00:04:59.50 and you may have heard a song, adults may 00:04:59.57\00:05:01.23 have heard a song about Dandelion why, why and 00:05:01.26\00:05:04.35 exactly, they use it right. And they do the same 00:05:04.38\00:05:06.56 thing, they even take potatoes, wonderful 00:05:06.72\00:05:09.06 potatoes we enjoy it they make vodka and then 00:05:09.25\00:05:12.27 we have corn that we love and they make 00:05:12.42\00:05:14.48 alcohol for whisky out of that or rice into saki, 00:05:14.75\00:05:18.84 saki, right, yes. And so, you know, the devil will 00:05:19.17\00:05:21.36 have no other way then at woody that he could 00:05:21.46\00:05:23.50 grew out and destroy these wonderful things 00:05:23.70\00:05:25.42 that God has made for us to see and enjoy and 00:05:25.45\00:05:28.82 make it counterfeit and use them for evil purpose. 00:05:28.85\00:05:31.91 That's right. But we're glad boys and girls that 00:05:32.00\00:05:33.69 serve a powerful God and so this is Ranger Jim 00:05:34.16\00:05:37.20 and my friend Nature Dan saying as always 00:05:37.71\00:05:41.14 don't forget to tell Jesus that you love him 00:05:41.55\00:05:43.49 because he really does, love you. 00:05:43.83\00:05:46.63 Hello, boys and girls. In Kids Time, we're doing 00:05:53.61\00:05:55.14 an experiment in trust. Hannah is gonna fall into 00:05:55.31\00:05:57.78 my arms and come through, are you ready 00:05:57.96\00:05:59.24 Hannah. Yes. Close your eyes, one, two, three, 00:05:59.39\00:06:06.50 Uhu. You see, Hannah trusted her earthly 00:06:07.82\00:06:16.27 father, how much more we can trust our father in 00:06:16.42\00:06:18.81 heaven, when we Lean on the Everlasting Arms. 00:06:18.96\00:06:21.27 What a fellowship, what a joy divine, 00:06:33.22\00:06:37.63 Leaning on the everlasting arms; 00:06:38.14\00:06:42.76 What a blessedness, what a peace is mine, 00:06:44.19\00:06:48.50 Leaning on the everlasting arms. 00:06:48.94\00:06:53.42 Leaning, leaning, leaning Safe and secure from all 00:06:54.48\00:07:03.42 Alarms Leaning, leaning, Leaning on 00:07:03.45\00:07:11.96 the everlasting arms. 00:07:11.99\00:07:15.34 Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, 00:07:15.88\00:07:20.50 Leaning on the everlasting arms; 00:07:21.63\00:07:26.09 Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day, 00:07:26.73\00:07:31.65 Leaning on the everlasting arms. 00:07:32.21\00:07:37.05 Leaning, leaning, leaning Safe and secure from all 00:07:37.63\00:07:46.60 alarms; Leaning, leaning, leaning 00:07:47.05\00:07:53.23 Leaning on the everlasting arms. 00:07:53.96\00:07:58.48 What have I to dread, what have I to fear, 00:08:01.87\00:08:05.66 Leaning on the everlasting arms; 00:08:06.17\00:08:09.91 I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, 00:08:10.51\00:08:14.54 Leaning on the everlasting arms. 00:08:15.03\00:08:18.78 Leaning, leaning, leaning Safe and secure from all 00:08:19.36\00:08:26.06 alarms. Leaning, leaning, leaning 00:08:26.66\00:08:31.64 Leaning on the everlasting arms. 00:08:32.22\00:08:36.08 Leaning on the everlasting arms. 00:08:36.44\00:08:46.88 Hi, boys and girls and welcome to Talk Time. 00:08:56.02\00:08:58.32 And I'm here today with a very special friend 00:08:58.83\00:09:00.93 Pastor C.A. Hi, pastor, how are doing. 00:09:01.12\00:09:03.04 I'm doing well Ms. Brenda, good to see you. 00:09:03.16\00:09:04.91 Oh! It's good to have you here again. 00:09:05.08\00:09:06.41 Now, Pastor C.A, I have so many questions here 00:09:06.77\00:09:08.67 that kids have want answers to, are you ready 00:09:08.79\00:09:10.59 to get started. I'm ready to get started. 00:09:10.62\00:09:12.16 Okay, we have a question here it says, what 00:09:12.19\00:09:14.79 happens when you're baptized? 00:09:15.14\00:09:16.45 Well, Ms. Brenda, nothing. Now, what do you mean, 00:09:17.22\00:09:21.96 nothing? I guess that's a bit of a trick answer, 00:09:22.17\00:09:25.32 but really what we understand Ms. Brenda is 00:09:25.67\00:09:28.68 that the change really takes place before 00:09:28.86\00:09:30.83 baptism. Baptism is just a symbol of a change that 00:09:30.98\00:09:35.49 has already taken place. We give our heart to the 00:09:35.60\00:09:37.95 Lord, we repent of our sins, we feel sorry for 00:09:38.10\00:09:41.05 our sins, we follow Jesus, we give our lives to 00:09:41.08\00:09:44.13 Jesus, we make Jesus the Lord of our life, 00:09:44.26\00:09:46.44 and then we're baptized to show the world that 00:09:46.75\00:09:50.28 these changes are already taken place. So, really 00:09:50.51\00:09:52.72 the change in our life ought to take place 00:09:52.84\00:09:54.51 before baptism, that's right. And baptism just 00:09:54.89\00:09:56.87 announces to the world that we have made a 00:09:57.14\00:09:58.81 change in that, we will follow in Jesus now. 00:09:58.99\00:10:00.75 So, that's why, I said nothing. 00:10:00.81\00:10:01.88 You know, Pastor, there might be some children 00:10:02.37\00:10:04.14 that don't know, what baptism is, what the 00:10:04.25\00:10:06.59 actual baptism is? Is that mean you just sprinkle 00:10:06.86\00:10:08.74 little bit of, you know, water on you or what, 00:10:08.87\00:10:10.60 what does the actual baptism mean? 00:10:10.98\00:10:12.60 Well, in, in baptism like all things Jesus is our 00:10:12.68\00:10:14.97 example and the word baptism in the original 00:10:15.05\00:10:17.50 language, which is Greek means to immerse to put 00:10:17.63\00:10:20.37 under the water and Jesus came down to the river 00:10:20.65\00:10:23.26 and John the Baptist, baptized and we put him 00:10:23.51\00:10:25.51 under the water and then brought him up out 00:10:25.75\00:10:27.83 of the water. It's a symbol of dying to the 00:10:27.86\00:10:30.32 world and being born again in Jesus Christ. 00:10:30.44\00:10:32.62 So, the correct way as Jesus did is to go under 00:10:32.73\00:10:35.31 the water and then come up out of the water. 00:10:35.48\00:10:37.67 Oh! That's right. Well, that was, that was a good 00:10:37.89\00:10:39.76 answer. Okay, I have another one here that 00:10:39.83\00:10:41.82 says, my brother smoke stop and I'm just 00:10:41.86\00:10:44.44 wondering, if he is going to be in heaven. 00:10:44.54\00:10:46.09 Well. What do you think about that? 00:10:47.48\00:10:48.45 Well, two texts come to mind, okay, from the 00:10:48.46\00:10:49.89 New Testament for the Book of Corinthians. 00:10:50.07\00:10:51.32 First Corinthians 3:16 & 17 and First Corinthians 6 00:10:52.09\00:10:56.82 verses 19 and 20. Both of them say that our 00:10:57.56\00:11:01.96 bodies have been brought with a prize that Christ 00:11:02.19\00:11:04.84 has paid for our bodies. He now owns us those of 00:11:05.08\00:11:08.07 us who follow him and then it says those who 00:11:08.14\00:11:10.30 destroy the body, God will eventually have to 00:11:10.57\00:11:12.91 destroy. So, that's means that a person, who is 00:11:13.10\00:11:14.80 destroying his body not only with dope. There are 00:11:14.98\00:11:16.78 other things that we can do to destroy our bodies. 00:11:16.88\00:11:18.46 Cigarettes destroy the body, yes, alcohol 00:11:18.60\00:11:20.40 destroys the body, drugs, drugs destroy the body, 00:11:20.59\00:11:24.08 all of these things destroy the body. 00:11:24.43\00:11:25.69 So, when we come to Jesus, we have to stop 00:11:25.86\00:11:27.57 doing these things and Christ will give us the 00:11:27.73\00:11:29.86 strength to stop doing these things and live his 00:11:30.03\00:11:32.28 life in us. We cannot take these things to heaven 00:11:32.46\00:11:35.27 with us, right. And this is preparation for our 00:11:35.37\00:11:38.03 life in heaven. So, you've got to stop doing 00:11:38.29\00:11:39.92 them now so that we can live with Jesus forever. 00:11:40.00\00:11:43.09 Okay, good answer. Okay, let's try another 00:11:43.12\00:11:44.53 question here. That says could you name some 00:11:44.62\00:11:47.18 activities that are good to do on Sabbath. 00:11:47.35\00:11:49.19 Ooh! That's a very good question, okay. Probably 00:11:49.51\00:11:51.58 for young people, who have a lot of energy, 00:11:51.76\00:11:53.27 right. Nature walking is a nice thing to do on 00:11:53.68\00:11:56.69 Sabbath, so try to get if you're in a city to go 00:11:56.87\00:11:58.71 out of the city and try to spot birds and see how 00:11:58.88\00:12:01.66 God shows himself in nature, right. It's 00:12:02.05\00:12:05.47 another good thing to do what Christ did. 00:12:05.59\00:12:06.94 Christ did lot of his miracles on Sabbath, 00:12:06.97\00:12:08.76 you know, he, he, it's always good on the 00:12:08.90\00:12:11.12 Sabbath. He healed blind person, it's a lawful 00:12:11.28\00:12:12.25 and that was a point that Jesus was trying to make. 00:12:12.26\00:12:13.99 So, if we go to a nursing home and maybe sing a 00:12:14.30\00:12:16.85 song to an older person or read the Bible to them 00:12:17.01\00:12:19.45 or bring them a nice card that we made. 00:12:19.94\00:12:21.64 There are all kinds of nice things we can do on 00:12:21.89\00:12:23.51 Sabbath that, that help others and you will find 00:12:23.68\00:12:26.55 Ms. Brenda. I'm sure you know this that when we 00:12:26.63\00:12:28.00 help others, we help our self. That's right. 00:12:28.18\00:12:29.88 We make others glad, we make ourselves glad, 00:12:29.93\00:12:32.02 plus it makes the Sabbath day a delight to know 00:12:32.31\00:12:34.18 that we're gonna go and visit some people and 00:12:34.21\00:12:35.78 bring some sunshine into their lives. So, those 00:12:36.18\00:12:38.18 are some of the things that we can do on 00:12:38.24\00:12:39.35 Sabbath. Oh! That's a good answer and 00:12:39.58\00:12:40.55 you know, Sabbath shouldn't be a drudgery, 00:12:40.56\00:12:41.57 should it is. No. It should be a fun something, 00:12:41.72\00:12:43.18 we look forward to. You know, one of the 00:12:43.32\00:12:44.84 things that I remember is little girl that you 00:12:44.99\00:12:46.63 know, my parents with I had, you know, there 00:12:46.66\00:12:48.98 five kids in our family. And so one of the things 00:12:49.18\00:12:51.45 I love was sometimes when we would get 00:12:51.64\00:12:53.22 through we did the visiting and, and the 00:12:53.38\00:12:55.22 sharing with others as well on Sabbath, 00:12:55.34\00:12:57.51 but when we get home sometimes one of my 00:12:57.54\00:12:58.81 favorite memories is playing Bible games. Yes. 00:12:58.97\00:13:00.96 You know, which we really learned our book 00:13:01.09\00:13:02.67 through the Bible, we learned about our Bible 00:13:02.88\00:13:04.42 characters and, and mom and dad made it a fun 00:13:04.59\00:13:06.88 way to learn more about Jesus. 00:13:07.02\00:13:08.42 Oh! Yes, Ms. Brenda, I envy you on that 00:13:08.56\00:13:10.26 because I grew up in home and I was the only 00:13:10.41\00:13:11.68 Seventh-Day Adventist in my home. Oh! The 00:13:11.88\00:13:13.34 only Sabbath keeper; my mother, my father, 00:13:13.37\00:13:15.30 my sister, my brother were not Sabbath keepers. 00:13:15.46\00:13:16.99 And it was a little tough on Sabbath sometimes 00:13:17.32\00:13:18.90 for me. So, I envy those who try to do things to 00:13:19.03\00:13:21.13 make Sabbath fun and to make it a delight as 00:13:21.16\00:13:23.47 we learn more about Jesus. Oh! Well, let's see 00:13:23.57\00:13:26.33 we've a time for another question. It says, 00:13:26.51\00:13:27.66 what is that mean to have a new heart. 00:13:28.02\00:13:29.83 Oh! Oh! It means that Jesus comes in and he 00:13:30.72\00:13:36.12 replaces our mean hard heart with a loving, soft 00:13:36.28\00:13:39.50 heart of love. The Bible talks about having peace 00:13:39.61\00:13:42.10 in your life, having joy. Psalms chapter 16 says 00:13:42.21\00:13:46.29 that when we are in God's presence there is 00:13:46.49\00:13:48.22 fullness of joy and God takes our mean hard 00:13:48.43\00:13:52.03 heart and gives us a soft new heart. He gives us a 00:13:52.22\00:13:54.42 new outlook; he gives us a smile on our face and 00:13:54.57\00:13:57.06 joy in our hearts and nice words for each other. 00:13:57.14\00:13:59.48 And that's all part of giving our life to Jesus, 00:13:59.74\00:14:01.45 Jesus changes our mind and our heart. 00:14:01.60\00:14:03.91 And the way we look at the world. 00:14:04.14\00:14:05.33 Well, said. Well, thank you so much Pastor, 00:14:05.81\00:14:07.56 we have all the time today. Thank you for 00:14:07.68\00:14:09.42 being with us. It was a pleasure. 00:14:09.61\00:14:11.05 I appreciate you having you here. Boys and girls, 00:14:11.22\00:14:12.66 if you have a question for Pastor C. A, send it 00:14:12.70\00:14:15.28 here to me on Kids Time. And I will make sure 00:14:15.48\00:14:17.67 your questions get answered because your 00:14:17.77\00:14:19.41 questions are important to us. And more important 00:14:19.54\00:14:21.82 that your questions are important to Jesus. 00:14:21.99\00:14:24.77 I want to be ready, when Jesus comes 00:14:38.41\00:14:42.49 I want to be ready, when Jesus comes 00:14:42.97\00:14:46.97 Earth's pleasures grow dim 00:14:47.19\00:14:49.05 While I'm waiting for Him; 00:14:49.52\00:14:52.13 Lord, keep me till Jesus comes 00:14:52.82\00:14:56.67 I want to be ready, when Jesus comes 00:14:57.55\00:15:01.65 I want to be ready, when Jesus comes 00:15:02.07\00:15:06.01 There is pleasure redeemed 00:15:06.52\00:15:08.29 Well, I'm waiting for him 00:15:08.77\00:15:11.92 Lord, keep me till Jesus comes 00:15:13.45\00:15:19.13 Pushup, pushup, yeah. What's going on? 00:15:32.81\00:15:35.93 It's incredible. Last I heard David was 00:15:36.42\00:15:39.16 up on the Mount of Olives praying. 00:15:39.23\00:15:41.01 David is there. He and all the people are 00:15:41.62\00:15:43.68 getting ready to crossover. Good day guard. 00:15:43.89\00:15:47.29 Good day to you. So, we're getting ready to 00:15:47.86\00:15:50.41 cross over the river and yes. There is the thought 00:15:50.69\00:15:53.11 that Absalom and his troops may actually come 00:15:53.14\00:15:55.89 and overtake King David. Can you believe this 00:15:55.92\00:15:57.98 David's own son Absalom doing this. 00:15:58.46\00:16:00.71 His own son and the people were beginning to 00:16:00.88\00:16:03.04 follow him. They love David, what's happened. 00:16:03.32\00:16:05.73 They love David and they love Absalom it 00:16:05.97\00:16:08.94 appears as well. Shouldn't you be at the palace? 00:16:09.22\00:16:11.74 Yes, we're moving that way guard. 00:16:12.01\00:16:13.51 Thank you, move now, just move alone now. 00:16:13.87\00:16:14.84 Thank you, very much. Alright, move now. 00:16:14.85\00:16:16.38 But Absalom and his, he is being a bit deceptive. 00:16:18.02\00:16:20.75 Yes, in what way? When they come to him 00:16:20.98\00:16:23.60 he seeks to answer their questions quickly 00:16:23.76\00:16:26.59 and, and fairly and appears to be interested 00:16:26.66\00:16:29.56 in them. He, he takes their hand. Yes, yes. 00:16:29.59\00:16:31.76 He blesses them, he hugs them, he kisses them on 00:16:31.98\00:16:33.93 the cheek and the people are beginning to follow 00:16:34.04\00:16:37.81 him. What are you gonna do? What is David want 00:16:37.97\00:16:39.52 you to do? Didn't I tell you to move? 00:16:39.55\00:16:41.93 The market place is crowed. 00:16:42.29\00:16:43.60 The market place is maybe crowed, but you 00:16:43.77\00:16:45.29 need to move. Now, you're gonna be at the palace, 00:16:45.60\00:16:47.12 move. Thank you guard. Move along that. 00:16:47.29\00:16:49.38 Why don't you move? I remain loyal to God's 00:16:49.41\00:16:54.27 appointed king. King David, you're right, 00:16:54.40\00:16:56.44 you're right. And I will serve him. 00:16:56.53\00:16:58.28 But it's scary. What is asking you do is be in 00:16:58.81\00:17:01.62 the power that's scary. It, it is indeed. You 00:17:01.65\00:17:04.73 must pray for me that I will have the wisdom that 00:17:04.76\00:17:07.53 I will be able to slow Absalom and his troops 00:17:07.64\00:17:10.04 down. And allow David and the people to cross. 00:17:10.20\00:17:12.84 David, David must have great confidence in you 00:17:13.13\00:17:15.44 my friend. Didn't I tell you, you have to move 00:17:15.52\00:17:17.10 along. Yes, we are moving, then what happened, 00:17:17.32\00:17:18.29 I don't want to tell you again now. We're moving, 00:17:18.30\00:17:19.33 we're moving. Move on. Thank you, thank you, 00:17:19.55\00:17:21.84 go, go. Pray for me friend. I will. I will. Pray 00:17:21.87\00:17:27.09 for me, that I will have the wisdom. Yes. We must 00:17:27.30\00:17:30.08 be faithful to God's appointed king. Yes. 00:17:30.23\00:17:32.88 And whomever God chooses, whomever 00:17:33.44\00:17:36.19 God blesses, we will follow that man. 00:17:36.38\00:17:39.19 I will see you again, now he 00:17:39.99\00:17:41.31 he come again, we must move. 00:17:41.52\00:17:42.75 I started walking when I was small 00:18:00.57\00:18:04.92 And many new things is I could 00:18:05.28\00:18:09.72 Some people say I'm getting so tired 00:18:10.33\00:18:14.47 Where did that little kid go 00:18:15.05\00:18:18.84 Inside and out God has making me new 00:18:19.51\00:18:23.81 You may not feel happening until he is through 00:18:24.13\00:18:32.10 Little by little, I'm changing I'm growing 00:18:32.91\00:18:40.99 Little by little, I'm not sure it showing 00:18:41.62\00:18:49.57 I'm not, who I'm. I'm not, who I'll be. 00:18:49.83\00:18:54.40 I'm somewhere in the middle 00:18:54.90\00:18:58.88 But God is changing me Little by, little 00:18:59.60\00:19:06.94 Sometimes it feels like I'm so far away 00:19:13.85\00:19:18.22 From all that I know, I should be 00:19:18.57\00:19:23.17 But he is with us it would be one day 00:19:23.66\00:19:27.81 Oh! That is started in me 00:19:28.52\00:19:32.19 And looking to me and I don't understand 00:19:32.89\00:19:37.59 That God has a vision and God has a plan. 00:19:37.88\00:19:45.27 Little by, little I'm changing, I'm growing. 00:19:46.08\00:19:54.24 Little by, little I'm not sure it showing 00:19:54.69\00:20:02.85 I'm not, who I'm. I'm not, who I'll be. 00:20:03.29\00:20:07.63 I'm somewhere in the middle 00:20:08.38\00:20:12.57 But God is changing me Little by, little. 00:20:12.97\00:20:20.97 It's time for Ms. Brenda's, Book of the Day. 00:20:38.57\00:20:41.89 And today's book is Sarah Lee and a Mule 00:20:42.30\00:20:45.30 Named May Be. And it's by Heather Grovet. 00:20:45.58\00:20:48.65 It says, we were just crossing the entrance to 00:20:49.10\00:20:50.81 the Nordegg trail when I heard a new sound. 00:20:50.84\00:20:53.57 It was a low growl. "Please, God," I 00:20:54.28\00:20:56.71 whispered. "Not another moose. I couldn't stand 00:20:56.77\00:20:59.39 another moose." I reached forward to pull 00:20:59.55\00:21:01.43 on Auntie Teresa's coat, but it was too late. 00:21:01.77\00:21:04.32 The growl erupted into an enormous roar. 00:21:04.88\00:21:07.22 I glimpsed something dark racing down the path 00:21:07.51\00:21:09.36 straight toward us. It threw itself into the 00:21:09.63\00:21:11.72 air and it banged right into my chest, knocking 00:21:11.84\00:21:14.46 me to the ground. I let out a horrible scream, 00:21:14.62\00:21:17.59 but I'm not gonna tell you what the rest of the 00:21:19.25\00:21:20.96 story. You're gonna have to get the book Sarah 00:21:21.13\00:21:23.01 Lee and a Mule Named May Be. Boy that's 00:21:23.14\00:21:25.61 sounds like a good book, doesn't it? Well, I'm 00:21:25.72\00:21:27.78 excited boys and girls because today I have a 00:21:27.92\00:21:30.01 very special friend with me. I have Levi. Hi, 00:21:30.04\00:21:32.83 Levi, how are you. Hi, Ms. Brenda! 00:21:33.03\00:21:34.81 Well, I'm so glad you are here and I wanted you 00:21:34.84\00:21:37.02 to tell, tell me where is that, that you came from? 00:21:37.05\00:21:39.36 Where do you live? Idaho. Idaho, that's a 00:21:39.53\00:21:41.82 long way. And you live on a big ranch I 00:21:41.97\00:21:43.51 understand. Yes. About 800 acres. That's right. 00:21:43.62\00:21:47.18 Well, let me tell you what, I want to know in 00:21:47.45\00:21:49.14 Idaho, what are you doing out there to share 00:21:49.22\00:21:50.87 Jesus. I'm helping the raise money for downlink. 00:21:51.11\00:21:55.03 For a downlink for 3ABN. Now, how would you 00:21:55.55\00:21:58.22 do that? You have to save money, so and then 00:21:58.43\00:22:01.67 use, then I ship it down here. So, the people can 00:22:01.89\00:22:05.85 get the money. So, they can buy a downlink. 00:22:05.94\00:22:07.65 Okay, how much is a downlink cost. A $100,000 00:22:07.79\00:22:10.46 A $100,000, that's a lot of money. How much do 00:22:10.49\00:22:14.14 you think you can raise? Two thousand. You think 00:22:14.21\00:22:16.54 you can raise 2000. Well you know what do you 00:22:16.71\00:22:19.30 think you can raise all that by yourself. Nope. 00:22:19.42\00:22:21.12 Nope, how you're gonna raise that? By Jesus help. 00:22:21.51\00:22:23.82 That's right because he promises in Philippines 00:22:24.47\00:22:26.53 4:13 that I can do all things through Christ, who 00:22:26.74\00:22:29.48 strengthens me, doesn't he? That's right. Well, let 00:22:29.61\00:22:31.89 me ask you this. What are you going to raise the 00:22:31.94\00:22:34.16 money? I'm selling dishcloths. Dishcloths, 00:22:34.24\00:22:37.55 okay. And cans and. And, now dish dishcloths, 00:22:37.78\00:22:42.92 let me tell, what about the dishcloths? What kind 00:22:43.03\00:22:44.63 of dishcloths are these? The dish. And why did 00:22:44.66\00:22:47.55 you choose dishcloths? My, my grandma she 00:22:47.58\00:22:51.35 wanted to help and she can make dishcloths real 00:22:51.61\00:22:54.51 fast. And so, she decide to let. So, so she ships 00:22:54.80\00:22:59.90 the dishcloths down here. And I saw them. 00:22:59.99\00:23:02.53 Okay, she is preparing for you and you sell them. 00:23:02.92\00:23:04.61 And where do you sell them that? I sell any 00:23:04.64\00:23:07.37 place, I can sell them. Any place, you can sell 00:23:07.50\00:23:09.83 them like on the street corner or what do you do? 00:23:09.86\00:23:12.03 Like at a yard cell. So, yard cell. And my 00:23:13.81\00:23:16.79 brother, he helps me some. He likes goes out 00:23:17.07\00:23:22.37 and down like at the hostel, there are so lot 00:23:22.63\00:23:26.39 of people that are so, he sells them there too. 00:23:26.49\00:23:28.43 Oh! That's wonderful. Now, what other things 00:23:28.53\00:23:30.55 you sell the dishcloths, what else do you do? 00:23:30.60\00:23:32.09 I have a, I have a little dish can at church and 00:23:33.97\00:23:39.28 people put money in there. Okay. And I have, 00:23:39.55\00:23:42.53 I have friend name Carl and he was raising 00:23:42.80\00:23:47.43 money. So, he could buy a very special toy for 00:23:48.91\00:23:51.66 himself. What kind of toy? I do not know, 00:23:51.96\00:23:54.81 but he wanted something special from the toy 00:23:55.94\00:23:57.48 store. Yeah, and he has saved 36 dollars in a 00:23:57.77\00:24:01.79 whole bunch, some cents I have got, but and then 00:24:01.85\00:24:06.10 he I was, I was talking about what I was doing. 00:24:06.26\00:24:09.31 And he and I told him about my aunt, which she, 00:24:10.17\00:24:13.43 which she doing on Jesus. So, and he heard about 00:24:14.12\00:24:18.50 that and he wanted to help Jesus. So, what did 00:24:18.59\00:24:21.57 he do, did he give.
