Kids time, kids time, 00:23 kids time, kids time. Hi, boys and girls 00:26 do you know what is special about April 15th? 00:29 No its not my birthday and its not my anniversary 00:32 either. Every year on on April 15th all of the 00:36 adults in my country where I live in United States 00:39 of America are supposed to report to the 00:41 government how much money that they have made 00:43 that year and also how much they paid to their 00:46 income taxes. Now if they didn't pay enough taxes 00:49 on their income, guess what? They have to pay 00:51 the government more money and if they pay too much 00:55 money then guess what the government is supposed 00:58 to pay the money back. Well now if you can 01:01 imagine people are very excited and happy when 01:03 the government has to pay money back and because 01:05 they wouldn't necessarily expecting to have out that 01:08 money they may use it to buy something very special, 01:11 sometimes they use it to take a vacation, may be buy 01:14 a new car or sometimes they get back just enough 01:17 to have dinner at a restaurant with the family 01:19 but its always an exciting time and exciting thing 01:23 that had happen when you get money back that you 01:25 have never expected to receive. Well our Bible 01:28 story is told by a young couple who got back some 01:31 income tax money that they thought they pay to the 01:33 Roman government but they didn't get their money 01:36 back because they have figured their taxes right 01:38 they got it back because there are just honest tax 01:41 collector met Jesus. Now you cant meet Jesus boys 01:46 and girls without having him change your life in 01:49 the most wonderful way And it usually changes a 01:52 life's of all those who know you as well. Well we 01:55 will find out all about that in just a little while 01:57 But first it is time for a visit with Ranger Jim 02:09 Hi boys and girls ranger Jim saying welcome to 02:11 nature time we are glad to join us today, with 02:13 Gatlinburg, Tennessee, at a place called Ripley's 02:16 Aquarium of the Smokies and what a fun place to be 02:19 we have enjoyed being here today, learned a lot 02:21 about gods creatures. I have a friend with me today 02:24 Clayton, and he is a biologist here at the 02:26 aquarium and he is going to tell us something about 02:29 these creatures. Clayton what are these we have 02:31 swimming here? Well we have a wide variety of 02:33 animals in this tank, where we have is a several 02:36 different species of the southern stingray and we 02:38 also have a lot of variety of sharks here as well 02:41 now some of the stingray we have here are actually 02:44 southern stingray we also have a spotted eagle rays 02:47 we have lan stingrays we also have Cownose Rays, 02:49 going to see cilium see in front of me right now is 02:52 actually called a southern ray make a pie get a 02:54 wing span of around 4 to 5 feet. The one you see 02:59 its swimming line to on the wall right here, that's 03:00 actually a lan stingray actually tell they are 03:02 different from the southern and fact today has a 03:04 pointy nose and a little bit different shaded color 03:07 actually some of the sharks that we are having 03:10 here are leopard sharks bonnethead sharks now 03:15 what's nice about those compared to some of the 03:16 other ones we may have in here in a second, those 03:19 actually give live birth and its fascinating for 03:22 us because we have a lot of activity in this tank 03:25 where we actually have several born on exhibit and 03:29 like the other animals that we have here are in the 03:31 cat shark family, which is a, so we have Applet sharks 03:37 whitespotted bamboo shark we have banded Bamboo 03:42 Shark and Arabian sharks. Now how do you learn all 03:44 these you have to go to college? I have to go to 03:46 college. We have to go to college and be a 03:48 biologist. Yeah I use to do a lot of different 03:49 universities you can go to the do marine biology 03:53 or rays biology backgrounds which is a four to six 03:56 years degree study Now tell me about this now 03:58 I have seen videos of these rays that are 04:01 monsters huge? Yes, how lauding to a 04:06 mane ray which is actually more in the Caribbean and 04:09 golf and Mexico regions we unfortunately we don't 04:11 have any here that's beyond our capability here 04:14 well we do have our spotted Eagle rays that you can 04:16 see swim around the background there make a 04:18 wing span around 8 to 10 feet no five be the 04:20 biggest ray that we have here.The mane rays they 04:23 would get up what 12 15 18 Yeah they could spotted 04:26 good about 24 wing span 24 Yeah And when they go 04:29 through the water so greatful Yeah and actually 04:33 whats unique about them those are pointed needles 04:35 they don't actually fish and some of the other 04:37 coruscations stuff like these animals well they 04:39 actually filter in little tiny planting water that's 04:44 thier main foods source. After jaws everyone who 04:48 go to floyd and swim they believe to see a Sand 04:50 shark this big flea for their life's most sharks 04:54 are harmless is this true? This is true there is 04:56 only may be a few species that are actually 04:59 considered dangerous to people I would even 05:01 consider them dangerous at all for the most part its 05:03 said for fact they still actually doing a while. 05:06 If you go swimming there are jaws that you are not 05:10 going to be attacked by a shark. Yeah you are more 05:12 likely to be stung by a bamboo being killed from 05:17 that or struck by lightening then you will be 05:19 attacked by a shark on the beach Those are good 05:21 odds.Yeah, And most people tell me that even the 05:24 whites most of their attack is that they mistake a 05:28 person for a seal or something like that 05:30 Exactly we are not even on their food source what 05:32 they like in seals is that they like in seals is 05:34 that seals have a high blubber and fat content 05:36 where humans do not so actually when they attack 05:39 they will bite and usually you will save your life 05:42 you are not on their food chain they will let go 05:43 and swim off unfortunately with the type of teeth 05:46 and power they have usually their first bite is the 05:48 more fatal bite. Okay so we have learned again 05:51 about something about these creatures, and I am 05:53 happy to tell you that I have learned very much 05:56 today about them and I have enjoyed so much 05:58 of learning about their rays I have never had 06:00 much experience with the rays so we learn more boys 06:03 and girls about our wonderful creator God and 06:05 how he has made these things for us to see and 06:08 enjoy and share the earth with so Ranger Jim is 06:12 always telling you don't forget to tell Jesus that you 06:15 love him because he really does love you 06:26 A little boy named John was raised to be a Christian 06:29 by his mother, when he was 7 years old his mother 06:34 died. At age of 11 he went to sea with his father 06:39 who was a captain as time went by John no longer 06:42 followed Jesus one day there was a big storm and 06:46 everyone are in John's boat saw that they were going 06:50 to die, tide and fade John turned to Jesus and felt 06:53 his loving grace in his heart. Zacchaeus, apparently have been 15:16 heading himself for what he was doing to everyone 15:18 You know he is an Israeli he is a Jew and he works 15:22 for the Romans collecting taxes and he is terrible 15:23 I know he is a bad man He is a bad man but 15:26 apparently he has always felt bad about what he has 15:29 done. Well I surely couldn't tell when he came 15:31 open with hand out telling us what he wanted from 15:34 us I couldn't tell he felt bad. Listen wife, 15:36 listen wife, wife listen he came and gave me that 15:39 money he heard Jesus was coming to town so he 15:43 knows zacchaeus is a short guy well I am now 15:45 want to talk but Zacchaeus was a short guy and he 15:49 could not see over the crowd and he want to see 15:54 Jesus he can do it so he ran in the crowd I saw with 15:57 my own two eyes. He ran out of the crowd climb up to 16:00 that big Sycamore tree the big one from the temple 16:04 I know the tree. Zacchaeus ran climbed up to that 16:07 Sycamore tree and waited to see Jesus passed by with 16:11 the crowd behind him after Jesus passed by zacchaeus 16:18 was so happy to see but zacchaeus was shocked 16:21 because you know what happened Jesus saw zacchaeus 16:24 on the tree. Oh what did he do? Jesus said 16:27 Zacchaeus, I want you to come down because I am 16:31 going to your house. Jesus I am going to your 16:37 house and he said today salvation is going to come 16:40 to your house. So did he go to his house I mean did 16:43 he come down? Zacchaeus met Jesus and zacchaeus 16:46 had a long talk he told zacchaeus that he had to 16:49 clean up his heart that he had to love everyone and 16:52 to do what was right zacchaeus felt so badly 16:55 zacchaeus apologized for all that he had done and 17:00 he said I am going to give back four times the money 17:05 that I stole from everyone everyone that I stole from 17:10 You stop it. What do you think I got that money 17:13 from and that's the money that we got from Zacchaeus 17:16 well I got little bit left for myself, its that your 17:18 part might there.I cant believe. Its true 17:21 zacchaeus is converted zacchaeus is now a kind man 17:27 Oh my god. And he has money for all you too 17:30 Yes he does.
