It's time to share there is a world out 00:00:03.53\00:00:06.22 there looking for a friend like Jesus, 00:00:06.25\00:00:10.09 it's time to share there is a world out 00:00:10.12\00:00:13.20 there. Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:13.23\00:00:17.03 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:17.06\00:00:20.41 Kids time, Kids time, Kids time. 00:00:20.44\00:00:25.07 Hi boys and girls, I have been reading 00:00:25.10\00:00:26.83 the best book today. It has the most amazing 00:00:26.86\00:00:29.39 stories in it. I can hardly put it down. 00:00:29.42\00:00:31.96 It's called the Book of Daniel and it's one of 00:00:31.99\00:00:34.22 the books in the Bible. See, it says Holy Bible 00:00:34.25\00:00:38.52 and you know what the amazing thing is? 00:00:38.55\00:00:40.42 Is that these stories in this book really happened. 00:00:40.45\00:00:44.04 You know true stories are always more interesting 00:00:44.07\00:00:46.25 to me than made up stories. But historians 00:00:46.28\00:00:49.66 haven't always believed the stories in the Book 00:00:49.69\00:00:51.57 of Daniel are true. And in fact some historians 00:00:51.60\00:00:54.88 and archaeologists they set out to prove that 00:00:54.91\00:00:56.70 Daniel was just a collection of myths and falsehoods. 00:00:56.73\00:01:00.54 But you know what they were very disappointment. 00:01:00.57\00:01:03.67 Everything they dug up only showed how true 00:01:03.70\00:01:06.60 the stories in Daniel really are. And for example 00:01:06.63\00:01:09.57 they couldn't understand why in one story a King 00:01:09.60\00:01:12.35 named Belshazzar told Daniel that he would 00:01:12.38\00:01:14.67 make him the third ruler in Babylon, if he would 00:01:14.70\00:01:17.16 interrupt some strange writing that appeared 00:01:17.19\00:01:19.48 on the wall out of nowhere. 00:01:19.51\00:01:21.00 Those skeptical archaeologists 00:01:21.03\00:01:22.78 said that strange story never happened. 00:01:22.81\00:01:26.62 First of all there was never any ruler in Babylon 00:01:26.65\00:01:29.22 named Belshazzar, and why in the world would 00:01:29.25\00:01:31.68 he make Daniel you know or offer to make Daniel 00:01:31.71\00:01:34.25 the third ruler in the Kingdom anyway. 00:01:34.28\00:01:36.21 Wow those archaeologists finally dug up some 00:01:36.24\00:01:39.38 ancient list of Babylonian kings and do you know 00:01:39.41\00:01:42.52 what that list not only have the name Belshazzar 00:01:42.55\00:01:46.72 on them but it also revealed that Belshazzar's 00:01:46.75\00:01:49.71 father Nabonidus was the first ruler of the Kingdom. 00:01:49.74\00:01:53.29 Now Nabonidus went on a long vacation and 00:01:53.32\00:01:56.00 he left his son Belshazzar in charge as second ruler 00:01:56.03\00:01:59.15 of Babylon. So now it's easy to understand why 00:01:59.18\00:02:02.31 Belshazzar offered to make Daniel the third ruler in 00:02:02.34\00:02:05.66 the Kingdom. You know our Bible story today is 00:02:05.69\00:02:08.44 taken straight from the Book of Daniel and 00:02:08.47\00:02:10.68 you can be sure it really did happened just as 00:02:10.71\00:02:13.21 Daniel recorded it. So I want you to listen closely, 00:02:13.24\00:02:16.02 okay. But first let's listen to Ranger Jim 00:02:16.05\00:02:18.82 tell us some true stories about nature. 00:02:18.85\00:02:21.36 Hi boys and girls, Ranger Jim saying 00:02:28.76\00:02:30.29 welcome to Nature Time. We're glad that you can 00:02:30.32\00:02:31.96 join us today, we're at Knoxville, Tennessee at 00:02:31.99\00:02:34.01 Ijams Nature Center, and we have a special 00:02:34.04\00:02:36.66 surprise for you, our friend Pam is with us. 00:02:36.69\00:02:38.66 Pam, what are we talking about today? 00:02:38.69\00:02:40.32 Well, if we get really quiet and listen, 00:02:40.35\00:02:42.52 you're gonna hear a sound around us that 00:02:42.55\00:02:44.58 only happens once every 17 years at this time 00:02:44.61\00:02:47.56 of year and it's the cicadas, periodical cicadas. 00:02:47.59\00:02:51.96 The cicada, alright tell us about this. 00:02:51.99\00:02:55.06 Well, they're on the trees behind us and 00:02:55.09\00:02:57.41 they're a wonderful, wonderful insect, 00:02:57.44\00:02:59.76 and they're, if we get into our, you know kind of 00:02:59.79\00:03:02.55 our classification of insects a little bit, 00:03:02.58\00:03:04.50 they are in an order of insects called Homoptera 00:03:04.53\00:03:08.09 which means same wing and these insects have wings 00:03:08.12\00:03:12.70 that are kind of pitched like a roof or a tent. 00:03:12.73\00:03:15.60 So that's a good identification for children 00:03:15.63\00:03:17.59 when they're out looking for insects 00:03:17.62\00:03:18.95 to kind of know that particular group of insects. 00:03:18.98\00:03:22.23 Well now you gave me this thing to look out. 00:03:22.26\00:03:24.88 Yes. What is this that I am holding? 00:03:24.91\00:03:26.34 Well we are gonna take and do something call 00:03:26.37\00:03:28.66 metamorphosis here and most children. 00:03:28.69\00:03:31.49 Metamorphosis. Metamorphosis. 00:03:31.52\00:03:33.14 What is this word? Big word, Meta meaning 00:03:33.17\00:03:35.51 change and morphosis meaning shape and so 00:03:35.54\00:03:39.17 what we're going to do is, most children are familiar 00:03:39.20\00:03:42.10 with how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. 00:03:42.13\00:03:47.33 Oh yes. Okay, which I'm sure it's some times hard 00:03:47.36\00:03:50.37 to catch that actually in action in the real world, 00:03:50.40\00:03:52.49 so we have this wonderful puppet. 00:03:52.52\00:03:54.08 But a lot of insects go through a change in 00:03:54.11\00:03:56.70 body shape, and the cicadas also do that. 00:03:56.73\00:04:00.09 For 17 years of their life they live underground 00:04:00.12\00:04:03.89 as something called a nymph. Alright and then 00:04:03.92\00:04:07.50 at this magical time they emerge from the ground 00:04:07.53\00:04:11.15 and if we look around closely then we could 00:04:11.18\00:04:12.78 probably see some round holes that they have come 00:04:12.81\00:04:14.79 up through. And then they go to a tree and sometimes 00:04:14.82\00:04:18.59 climb 30 or 40 feet up in a tree and then as 00:04:18.62\00:04:22.51 we see here, this is what they look like, 00:04:22.54\00:04:25.87 this little case which is now empty because 00:04:25.90\00:04:28.93 last night they emerged. Oh through the little 00:04:28.96\00:04:31.60 slit in the back. Yes, it actually slits, 00:04:31.63\00:04:33.72 and you know underground they don't need wings 00:04:33.75\00:04:36.73 of course because they can't fly underground 00:04:36.76\00:04:38.69 but when they're adults they do needs wings. 00:04:38.72\00:04:41.26 But if we look closely at this casing, we can 00:04:41.29\00:04:44.06 actually see little wing pads that were forming 00:04:44.09\00:04:47.77 where the wings were actually forming. 00:04:47.80\00:04:50.10 Amazing, now for 17 years they lived underground 00:04:50.13\00:04:53.37 boys and girls where it's dark, no sunlight. 00:04:53.40\00:04:56.73 Right. Rubbing around, well they have little 00:04:56.76\00:04:58.32 passage ways do they. Well they can a dig 00:04:58.35\00:04:59.89 there way through and they have these 00:04:59.92\00:05:01.58 wonderful front legs that children can notice on, 00:05:01.61\00:05:04.31 and they also feed on tree roots like on the sap 00:05:04.34\00:05:08.96 and things from tree roots when they're in this 00:05:08.99\00:05:11.17 nymph stage underground. For 17 years and then 00:05:11.20\00:05:14.23 the magical time comes like last night they came 00:05:14.26\00:05:16.30 out of their holes, came up and then they came 00:05:16.33\00:05:18.50 from this case. Exactly. And now they're these 00:05:18.53\00:05:21.45 beautiful creatures. Exactly, and we can 00:05:21.48\00:05:24.17 see some of them as a matter of fact 00:05:24.20\00:05:25.89 you have something important that all 00:05:25.92\00:05:27.68 naturalist should carry and that's. 00:05:27.71\00:05:29.82 A collection. Yes, a collection jar or a bug 00:05:29.85\00:05:33.12 box and one other things we always encourage 00:05:33.15\00:05:35.89 children to do is to never touch an insect 00:05:35.92\00:05:38.98 or spider unless they know exactly what kind 00:05:39.01\00:05:41.91 it is and it's safe. Because just like you have our 00:05:41.94\00:05:44.96 little puppet here with the bee you know most 00:05:44.99\00:05:46.89 children know the bees and wasps could sting, 00:05:46.92\00:05:50.13 okay. But there are a lot of other insects that 00:05:50.16\00:05:52.16 have to protect themselves in some way and so we want 00:05:52.19\00:05:55.68 to encourage them if they don't recognized an insect 00:05:55.71\00:05:58.61 or an spider or really any wildlife we should 00:05:58.64\00:06:01.96 enjoy at a distance. But they can use something 00:06:01.99\00:06:04.37 like a collecting jar to very carefully scoop up 00:06:04.40\00:06:08.39 an insect, close the lid up and always want to make 00:06:08.42\00:06:11.73 sure that there's a little air hole in there and then 00:06:11.76\00:06:14.52 they can observe them. Safely, safely, safely. 00:06:14.55\00:06:18.85 Now you and I both know its okay to handle cicadas, 00:06:18.88\00:06:22.92 so we're gonna let you hold one of these. 00:06:22.95\00:06:25.19 Oh I can just reach in and safely take it up. 00:06:25.22\00:06:28.37 You can safely take it out. Because I know 00:06:28.40\00:06:29.46 boys and girls, can hold it in my hands and what 00:06:29.49\00:06:32.26 a beautiful creature, what a beautiful creature. 00:06:32.29\00:06:35.10 And again these are the periodical cicadas. 00:06:35.13\00:06:38.02 Eastern United States there's a 13 year and 00:06:38.05\00:06:42.37 a 17 year and this is the magical year and 00:06:42.40\00:06:44.99 if we go back through history and we look at 00:06:45.02\00:06:47.59 some writings that people have done, 00:06:47.62\00:06:49.87 it actually shows documentation at these 00:06:49.90\00:06:52.15 different time periods that there was a 00:06:52.18\00:06:53.81 tremendous number of cicadas that came out of 00:06:53.84\00:06:55.90 the ground. Now a lot of people are concerned 00:06:55.93\00:06:58.39 about them when they're out and they say you 00:06:58.42\00:07:00.15 know oh they're yucky, they're going to bite me. 00:07:00.18\00:07:02.24 But that's not something we have to worry about. 00:07:02.27\00:07:05.10 They are safe, we know they're safe to handle, 00:07:05.13\00:07:06.92 right. Well wonderful boys and girls, exciting 00:07:06.95\00:07:09.07 to learn about these creatures. 00:07:09.10\00:07:10.51 Ranger Jim saying as always, don't forget to 00:07:10.54\00:07:13.01 tell Jesus that you love him 00:07:13.04\00:07:14.33 because he really does loves you. 00:07:14.36\00:07:17.55 In his hand is the life of every creature Job 12:10 00:07:24.85\00:07:29.16 He's got the whole world in His hands, 00:07:36.68\00:07:40.50 He's got the whole world in His hands, 00:07:40.53\00:07:44.51 He's got the whole world in His hands, 00:07:44.54\00:07:48.48 He's got the whole world in His hands. 00:07:48.51\00:07:52.33 He's got the wind and the rain in His hands, 00:07:52.36\00:07:56.68 He's got the wind and the rain in His hands, 00:07:56.71\00:08:00.67 He's got the wind and the rain in His hands, 00:08:00.70\00:08:04.73 He's got the whole world in His hands. 00:08:04.76\00:08:08.85 He's got the tiny little baby in His hands, 00:08:08.88\00:08:12.80 He's got the tiny little baby in His hands, 00:08:12.83\00:08:17.03 He's got the tiny little baby in His hands, 00:08:17.06\00:08:21.11 He's got the whole world in His hands. 00:08:21.14\00:08:25.17 He's got you and me, brother, in His hands, 00:08:25.20\00:08:29.34 He's got you and me, sister, in His hands, 00:08:29.37\00:08:33.38 He's got you and me, brother, in His hands, 00:08:33.41\00:08:37.46 He's got the whole world in His hands. 00:08:37.49\00:08:41.61 He's got the whole world in His hands, 00:08:41.64\00:08:45.55 He's got the whole world in His hands. 00:08:45.58\00:08:53.17 Welcome to Learning Time, I'm glad you are 00:09:00.95\00:09:02.81 with us today. Now John's gonna help me 00:09:02.84\00:09:04.72 with an experiment, and we're gonna talk about 00:09:04.75\00:09:07.47 space. How many of you would like to travel in 00:09:07.50\00:09:09.87 space some day? Oh I want too, that would be 00:09:09.90\00:09:12.66 so interesting. Now I am gonna put my safety 00:09:12.69\00:09:15.59 glasses on because we're gonna talk about being 00:09:15.62\00:09:17.90 an astronaut travel in space. Do you think that 00:09:17.93\00:09:20.80 we can use common ordinary materials to 00:09:20.83\00:09:23.92 travel in space, what do you think? No. 00:09:23.95\00:09:27.23 No, well today John, I have got a ball right here 00:09:27.26\00:09:29.81 you know. You know, you ever play with balls 00:09:29.84\00:09:31.17 like this? I mean these are ordinary materials 00:09:31.20\00:09:33.83 and we're just going to cool this ball down to 00:09:33.86\00:09:37.04 about the temperature of outer space and then 00:09:37.07\00:09:39.87 I'm gonna have John take this ball and I am 00:09:39.90\00:09:42.55 gonna have him throw it at the satellite dish right 00:09:42.58\00:09:45.00 behind us right here and let's see what happens 00:09:45.03\00:09:47.39 to ordinary materials when we get them almost 00:09:47.42\00:09:50.52 as cold as outer space. I am gonna pour the 00:09:50.55\00:09:52.96 second coolest thing that's on planet earth in here, 00:09:52.99\00:09:56.03 and it's liquid nitrogen. The temperature of this 00:09:56.06\00:09:59.27 stuff happens to be a minus 321 and a half degrees, 00:09:59.30\00:10:03.57 now that is really cool. Well John, let's just go 00:10:03.60\00:10:07.94 ahead and take a little walk over here. 00:10:07.97\00:10:10.30 I'm gonna take my ice test right, and stop 00:10:10.33\00:10:13.33 right about here. Now we're gonna give a countdown 00:10:13.36\00:10:16.59 3, 2, 1 and then John's gonna throw that ball 00:10:16.62\00:10:20.27 right at the satellite dish. Are you ready to help 00:10:20.30\00:10:22.78 me with the countdown? Yes. Alright, let's go 00:10:22.81\00:10:26.32 3, 2, 1, right there and let's see what we've got. 00:10:26.35\00:10:32.56 Okay we're gonna try another one, here we go, 00:10:32.59\00:10:35.25 we're gonna try another one here we go, 00:10:35.28\00:10:37.59 are we ready? How about a countdown, 00:10:37.62\00:10:39.46 3, 2, 1, and John let's see what we do with there. 00:10:39.49\00:10:44.39 Whoa! Did you hear that, did you see that, 00:10:44.42\00:10:48.30 the ball just shattered, John, a good shot, 00:10:48.33\00:10:51.81 man or what, that's an interesting thing. 00:10:51.84\00:10:54.42 Now you know it was so cold that it absolutely 00:10:54.45\00:10:58.70 shattered that's what would happen if you and 00:10:58.73\00:11:02.12 I were using common materials and decided 00:11:02.15\00:11:05.23 to travel in space they would fail. 00:11:05.26\00:11:09.18 Oh that's interesting, now is it expensive John 00:11:09.21\00:11:12.79 or is it real cheap to travel in space? 00:11:12.82\00:11:15.71 It's very expensive. It is very expensive 00:11:15.74\00:11:18.62 and part of that expense is because it takes not 00:11:18.65\00:11:22.40 ordinary materials like that ball was made out of, 00:11:22.43\00:11:25.13 but very, very special materials because things 00:11:25.16\00:11:28.84 get too hot and things get too cold in space. 00:11:28.87\00:11:32.74 Now I think that's extremely interesting, 00:11:32.77\00:11:35.57 and I was looking at the prices of astronauts suits. 00:11:35.60\00:11:39.04 Do you know how much an astronaut suit cost John? 00:11:39.07\00:11:42.09 No, I don't. It costs over 1 million dollar can you 00:11:42.12\00:11:46.11 imagine that 1 million dollar for just one suit. 00:11:46.14\00:11:49.88 Now, I don't have anything that's worth a million 00:11:49.91\00:11:52.17 dollars, never mind a suit. Wow! Space travel 00:11:52.20\00:11:55.96 is really, really expensive, but it's really, really 00:11:55.99\00:11:59.53 exciting. Would you like to travel in space John? 00:11:59.56\00:12:02.12 Someday. Would you like to travel in space 00:12:02.15\00:12:04.39 using ordinary materials? Definitely not. 00:12:04.42\00:12:07.80 Oh not me, we need extraordinary materials 00:12:07.83\00:12:11.33 to travel in space. Well, I'm glad that we don't 00:12:11.36\00:12:14.99 need extra ordinary materials to live on 00:12:15.02\00:12:17.74 planet earth. Are you glad that we don't need 00:12:17.77\00:12:20.14 extraordinary materials because we just might 00:12:20.17\00:12:22.92 not survive. We don't need that because God put man 00:12:22.95\00:12:27.39 and woman and boys and girls on planet earth, 00:12:27.42\00:12:30.36 and we can survive with the things that he has 00:12:30.39\00:12:32.62 given us to use. I'm really happy for that. 00:12:32.65\00:12:36.07 Remember, when we study science, 00:12:36.10\00:12:39.12 we learn more about our creator God. 00:12:39.15\00:12:42.84 Ambassadors from the Ethiopia, you may proceed. 00:12:51.64\00:12:55.51 I hear that your King is interested in hearing the 00:12:55.54\00:12:59.45 story of Daniel, and the story of Daniel's God. 00:12:59.48\00:13:02.45 Well, it is a story worth telling. It happened about 00:13:02.48\00:13:08.72 5 years ago, I had just become King and 00:13:08.75\00:13:12.99 I had many men underneath me. Daniel was one of 00:13:13.02\00:13:16.70 those men. He was one of my officials in charge of 00:13:16.73\00:13:20.03 a lot of other men. I was very impressed with the 00:13:20.06\00:13:24.33 work that Daniel did. You see he was very organized, 00:13:24.36\00:13:27.88 very honest and hard working. I had noticed 00:13:27.91\00:13:31.09 Daniel's work and was thinking of making him 00:13:31.12\00:13:33.33 second in command. Some of the other officials 00:13:33.36\00:13:36.50 heard about this and they didn't like that idea. 00:13:36.53\00:13:39.76 They looked and searched Daniel, trying to find 00:13:39.79\00:13:43.27 something that he didn't do good, somewhere 00:13:43.30\00:13:45.99 where he might have stolen from me or slacked off, 00:13:46.02\00:13:49.14 but they couldn't find anything. Daniel was 00:13:49.17\00:13:51.02 perfect, except for his devotion to his God. 00:13:51.05\00:13:54.92 They said if we can trap Daniel in his religion then 00:13:54.95\00:13:58.64 we can get him. Well, they came up with that 00:13:58.67\00:14:01.91 evil plan and came to me. O King, live forever they 00:14:01.94\00:14:06.87 said. King, you're such a great man, you're very, 00:14:06.90\00:14:11.53 very wonderful and powerful, and we think 00:14:11.56\00:14:14.11 that the people of your Kingdom need to dwell on 00:14:14.14\00:14:17.27 your wonderful attributes. Well, this sounded pretty 00:14:17.30\00:14:20.84 good to me, so I said proceed, what is your plan. 00:14:20.87\00:14:24.57 They said King, for the next 30 days we want 00:14:24.60\00:14:28.78 to declare a holiday in your honor. 00:14:28.81\00:14:31.49 For those 30 days everyone should worship 00:14:31.52\00:14:35.25 none of their Gods but only you. Well, I thought that 00:14:35.28\00:14:41.07 sounded pretty good, so I gave them my ring 00:14:41.10\00:14:44.59 and said go make this decree law, and whoever 00:14:44.62\00:14:48.75 dares defy my authority, may he be thrown 00:14:48.78\00:14:52.75 into the den of lions. Well the men went off 00:14:52.78\00:14:56.15 and proceeded with their plan. Daniel heard 00:14:56.18\00:14:59.50 of the new decree, and I'm sure it made him sad. 00:14:59.53\00:15:02.72 You see Daniel was a good man, and he was loyal, 00:15:02.75\00:15:06.24 but his relationship with his God was more important 00:15:06.27\00:15:09.44 than anything else. He went home that night 00:15:09.47\00:15:12.79 and opened his window to face Jerusalem his 00:15:12.82\00:15:16.10 hometown. He got on his knees and he prayed as 00:15:16.13\00:15:20.10 he did three times everyday. Well, the evil men were 00:15:20.13\00:15:24.10 spying on him and they saw him pray to his God. 00:15:24.13\00:15:27.27 They giggled in and ran over to me and they said 00:15:27.30\00:15:30.41 O King, someone has broken the new law. 00:15:30.44\00:15:32.96 I became angry and said who dares to defy me, 00:15:32.99\00:15:36.97 King Darius. And they said Daniel, he defies you. 00:15:37.00\00:15:41.77 My heart broke, I saw through their trap, 00:15:41.80\00:15:46.47 I ordered them out of my sight and I stayed up the 00:15:46.50\00:15:50.12 whole day trying to find out what I could do to 00:15:50.15\00:15:53.67 save my friend, but the law cannot be changed even 00:15:53.70\00:15:58.22 by me. The next day we took Daniel and before 00:15:58.25\00:16:02.67 we threw him into the lion's den, I said Daniel, 00:16:02.70\00:16:05.15 may the God whom you serve continually protect 00:16:05.18\00:16:08.19 you. He said King, don't worry, they threw him in. 00:16:08.22\00:16:13.50 That night I couldn't sleep, I didn't want any food, 00:16:13.53\00:16:17.73 I didn't want any entertainment, 00:16:17.76\00:16:19.32 I was so worried about Daniel. The next morning, 00:16:19.35\00:16:23.30 just as the sun rose, I jumped in my chariot 00:16:23.33\00:16:26.15 and ran as fast as I could to the entrance. 00:16:26.18\00:16:29.20 I ordered the stone to be rolled away and 00:16:30.83\00:16:33.16 I shout out Daniel, Daniel. For a few seconds there 00:16:33.19\00:16:37.75 was just silence, my heart crumbled and then 00:16:37.78\00:16:41.45 I heard his voice. O King, live forever, my God had 00:16:41.48\00:16:46.69 sent an angel and he had shut the lion's mouth. 00:16:46.72\00:16:49.53 I ordered Daniel hauled up and I gave him a 00:16:49.56\00:16:53.22 great big hug. Then I turned on the men 00:16:53.25\00:16:56.32 who trapped him. Their Gods are not as powerful 00:16:56.35\00:16:59.60 as Daniel's God, and they did not last against the 00:16:59.63\00:17:02.79 lions. You see Daniel's God took care of him 00:17:02.82\00:17:08.17 because he put his God first. I don't know a lot 00:17:08.20\00:17:11.90 of about this God of Israel but I want to learn. 00:17:11.93\00:17:14.92 He's very powerful and if he can make men 00:17:14.95\00:17:18.07 like Daniel. I want him to live in my heart. 00:17:18.10\00:17:21.30 You take this story back, you tell your King 00:17:21.33\00:17:24.71 and perhaps he will learn of 00:17:24.74\00:17:26.36 the God of Daniel. You may leave. 00:17:26.39\00:17:30.60 Your only son, no sin to hide 00:17:42.29\00:17:49.11 But you have sent him from your side 00:17:49.14\00:17:55.92 To walk upon this guilty side 00:17:55.95\00:18:02.42 And to become the lamb of God 00:18:02.45\00:18:09.43 O lamb of God, Sweet lamb of God, 00:18:09.46\00:18:15.81 Lamb of God I love that holy lamb of God 00:18:15.84\00:18:22.53 O wash me in His precious blood 00:18:22.56\00:18:28.92 My Jesus Christ, The lamb of God 00:18:28.95\00:18:36.07 Your gift of love they crucified 00:18:36.10\00:18:42.96 They laughed and scorned Him as He died 00:18:42.99\00:18:49.26 The humble King they named a fraud 00:18:49.29\00:18:55.72 And sacrificed the Lamb of God 00:18:55.75\00:19:02.41 O lamb of God, Sweet lamb of God, 00:19:02.44\00:19:08.75 Lamb of God I love that holy lamb of God 00:19:08.78\00:19:15.24 O wash me in His precious blood 00:19:15.27\00:19:21.87 My Jesus Christ, The lamb of God 00:19:21.90\00:19:29.48 I was so lost I should have died 00:19:29.51\00:19:35.87 But You have brought me to Your side 00:19:35.90\00:19:42.43 To be led by Your staff and rod 00:19:42.46\00:19:48.76 And to be called the Lamb of God 00:19:48.79\00:19:55.48 O lamb of God, Sweet lamb of God, 00:19:55.51\00:20:01.78 Lamb of God I love that holy lamb of God 00:20:01.81\00:20:08.14 O wash me in His precious blood 00:20:08.17\00:20:15.08 My Jesus Christ, The lamb of God 00:20:15.11\00:20:23.35 Hi boys and girls, do you know what time it is, 00:20:32.30\00:20:35.25 it is time for the book of the day, and today's book 00:20:35.28\00:20:40.67 I have chosen "The Secret of Scarlett Cove" 00:20:40.70\00:20:44.17 and it is by Charles Mills and I would like to just 00:20:44.20\00:20:47.88 read you a short little thing about it. 00:20:47.91\00:20:49.71 It says, a beautiful vacation spot, 00:20:49.74\00:20:51.99 a secret cove and dead dolphin. 00:20:52.02\00:20:55.04 A strange baseball-cap wearing girl who doesn't 00:20:55.07\00:20:57.93 know the meaning of fear, and a creepy 00:20:57.96\00:21:00.10 water-park owner who uses dolphins to make money. 00:21:00.13\00:21:03.42 It says that a final showdown with 00:21:03.45\00:21:06.43 Mr. Chilson puts Alex and Dusty's beliefs to the test 00:21:06.46\00:21:10.26 as they find themselves in a dramatic fight to save 00:21:10.29\00:21:13.09 the dolphins and their very lives. They said that they 00:22:55.56\00:22:58.98 would try to keep in touch with me, 00:22:59.01\00:23:02.52 and they would read the books. 00:23:02.55\00:23:04.43 They did? Yes. So did you have anybody that 00:23:04.46\00:23:08.35 seems like they were really excited about it? 00:23:08.38\00:23:12.82 Yes, there is one lady last year who I donated 00:23:12.85\00:23:17.20 some books to, and at this funeral I came back 00:23:17.23\00:23:20.74 to her house, and she recognized me, and she said 00:23:20.77\00:23:23.03 that her husband just passed away, but she still, 00:23:23.06\00:23:25.80 she read the books, and she need somewhat more 00:23:25.83\00:23:28.90 to learn, so I left the note that I would do it, 00:23:28.93\00:23:30.79 and she is going to call back. 00:23:30.82\00:23:33.13 Oh that's good.
