It's time to share there is a world out 00:00:03.47\00:00:06.14 there looking for a friend like Jesus, 00:00:06.23\00:00:09.61 it's time to share there is a world out 00:00:10.34\00:00:12.97 there looking for a friend like Jesus, 00:00:13.12\00:00:14.09 it's time to share there is a world out 00:00:14.10\00:00:15.07 there. Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:15.08\00:00:16.60 Let's tell them that He loves us so. 00:00:16.89\00:00:20.15 Kids time, Kids time, Kids time. 00:00:20.58\00:00:24.93 Hi boys and girls, have you ever heard of Phoenicians. 00:00:24.96\00:00:27.66 The Bible tells us about them and in fact the 00:00:27.69\00:00:30.60 prophet Ezekiel, he talked about the Phoenician 00:00:30.63\00:00:32.98 city of Tyre. Now Tyre was one of the biggest 00:00:33.01\00:00:36.30 and the strongest cities in Ezekiel's time. 00:00:36.33\00:00:38.74 And you know what he predicted that Tyre would 00:00:38.77\00:00:41.74 eventually be attacked by many different nations 00:00:41.77\00:00:44.60 like waves of the sea and that they would be 00:00:44.63\00:00:47.46 completely destroyed and he added one more 00:00:47.49\00:00:49.85 thing. He said that it will be used for the 00:00:49.88\00:00:51.98 spreading of nets by the sea. Well guess what 00:00:52.01\00:00:55.77 today Tyre is nothing more than a pile of bare rocks 00:00:55.80\00:01:00.31 and the fishermen, they spread their nets on 00:01:00.34\00:01:03.10 the ruins. Well history is full of stories that 00:01:03.13\00:01:05.97 demonstrate that the people who wrote the many 00:01:06.00\00:01:08.04 books in the Bible were inspired by God, 00:01:08.07\00:01:10.77 and the story of Tyre is just one of them. 00:01:10.80\00:01:13.06 Well in our Bible story today we're going to 00:01:13.09\00:01:16.10 hear about a famous Phoenician named Lydia. 00:01:16.13\00:01:19.10 And like many Phoenicians she was a successful 00:01:19.13\00:01:22.11 merchant. Now the Greeks called the Phoenicians 00:01:22.14\00:01:24.59 the purple people, because they were know as 00:01:24.62\00:01:27.69 traders of purple. And Lydia was known as a 00:01:27.72\00:01:30.23 seller of purple because she sold beautiful 00:01:30.26\00:01:33.10 purple cloth. Do you know where all that purple 00:01:33.13\00:01:36.38 came from? The Phoenicians got all their purple 00:01:36.41\00:01:39.21 dye from a mollusk found in the Mediterranean 00:01:39.24\00:01:42.16 Sea off the coast. And a mollusk is a little sea 00:01:42.19\00:01:45.63 creature, like a little snail and it sort of makes you 00:01:45.66\00:01:48.48 wonder where we get all of our purple from 00:01:48.51\00:01:50.60 doesn't it? Well, I am sure you'll enjoy hearing 00:01:50.63\00:01:53.46 about what happened to Lydia. But first it's 00:01:53.49\00:01:56.22 time to visit with Ranger Jim. 00:01:56.25\00:01:58.17 Hi boys and girls, Ranger Jim saying welcome to 00:02:05.59\00:02:07.62 Nature Time, we're glad you can join us today, 00:02:07.65\00:02:09.45 we're in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Knoxville zoo. 00:02:09.48\00:02:11.62 And look what we have, isn't this a beautiful 00:02:11.65\00:02:14.20 creature? Nikki tell us what this is? 00:02:14.23\00:02:16.22 This is an American Peregrine Falcon, 00:02:16.25\00:02:18.61 he is gorgeous. Tell us something about him. 00:02:20.00\00:02:22.30 Well, and these birds have a really interesting 00:02:22.33\00:02:25.53 history and they were considered endangered 00:02:25.56\00:02:28.31 back in 1970, they were declared an endangered 00:02:28.34\00:02:30.69 specie. And they believe that DDT, a pesticide 00:02:30.72\00:02:33.58 was the leading cause of their disappearance. 00:02:33.61\00:02:35.48 And it got into their food chain; 00:02:35.51\00:02:37.61 the farmers were using it for a chemical pesticide 00:02:37.64\00:02:41.40 to help reduce the bug population that they had. 00:02:41.43\00:02:43.97 But it got into their water source and their eggs 00:02:44.00\00:02:46.63 became extremely brittle. So that when they went 00:02:46.66\00:02:48.72 to sit on them they would hatch. 00:02:48.75\00:02:50.53 They would crack and they wouldn't be able 00:02:50.56\00:02:52.17 to hatch. Much of them that affected, the eagles, 00:02:52.20\00:02:55.27 did it not? It did, and all those on top of the 00:02:55.30\00:02:57.55 food chain, exactly. Mention that briefly, 00:02:57.58\00:02:59.33 how does that work? Well it gets into the 00:02:59.36\00:03:01.83 water system and the smaller animals begin to 00:03:01.86\00:03:04.95 eat that, they'll eat the bugs and the things like 00:03:04.98\00:03:07.91 that in the water. Then the larger animals will 00:03:07.94\00:03:10.32 start to eat the rodents and it just continues to 00:03:10.35\00:03:12.62 go on and on. Then the higher up the chain 00:03:12.65\00:03:13.95 the more effect it has on it, okay, exactly. 00:03:13.98\00:03:15.62 Tell us something about their flight, it looks like 00:03:15.65\00:03:17.32 he's built for flight. They are, they are actually 00:03:17.35\00:03:19.83 pretty imaging animals, these are the fastest 00:03:19.86\00:03:22.00 animals in the world and they can dive out 00:03:22.03\00:03:25.66 of the sky with speeds of over 200 miles an hour. 00:03:25.69\00:03:28.16 You said 200 miles an hour, yes, amazing, amazing. 00:03:28.19\00:03:34.43 What do they feed on, they like to eat other birds. 00:03:34.46\00:03:37.17 Oh that's unfortunate, but that's what happens, okay. 00:03:37.20\00:03:40.34 Smaller birds, they will, actually they can catch 00:03:40.37\00:03:43.39 a bird about the same size as themselves and 00:03:43.42\00:03:45.73 they love pigeons. They've been reintroducing these 00:03:45.76\00:03:48.45 birds into cities all around the United States 00:03:48.48\00:03:50.93 and Canada. And they love to nest on cliff 00:03:50.96\00:03:54.37 tops out in the wild. So, in the cities they'll nest 00:03:54.40\00:03:57.25 in the really tall skyscrapers. 00:03:57.28\00:03:59.41 Well that's neat, then in Chicago or New York 00:03:59.44\00:04:01.76 upon the ledges you have the Peregrine Falcon. 00:04:01.79\00:04:03.84 And there's a very abundant food source there pigeons 00:04:03.87\00:04:07.34 so, pigeons and so, they really like them. 00:04:07.37\00:04:09.30 And most people don't feel too bad if they eat 00:04:09.33\00:04:10.84 an occasional pigeon, right, exactly. 00:04:10.87\00:04:12.68 Alright tell me now when they're nesting 00:04:12.71\00:04:14.55 how many eggs would they lay? I think they lay 00:04:14.58\00:04:17.51 about two to four eggs, it just depends. 00:04:17.54\00:04:20.12 Do both mother and father feed or, 00:04:20.15\00:04:22.71 actually I am not sure about that, 00:04:22.74\00:04:26.13 I couldn't tell you right off about which one 00:04:26.16\00:04:28.40 and I do believe mostly the mother would feed 00:04:28.43\00:04:30.68 but the father does occasionally help with 00:04:30.71\00:04:32.87 the mother or so. I would think that was 00:04:32.90\00:04:34.20 probably true with them too that, and then, 00:04:34.23\00:04:36.36 then when they're young fledged, do they stay 00:04:36.39\00:04:37.97 in the general area then of the parents are? 00:04:38.00\00:04:40.04 They do somewhat for a certain of time and 00:04:40.07\00:04:43.19 then they'll find their own area. And we actually 00:04:43.22\00:04:45.92 in downtown Knoxville have an area that we 00:04:45.95\00:04:49.74 have two that come back every single year and nest, 00:04:49.77\00:04:51.93 wonderful and then bird lovers are there to 00:04:51.96\00:04:54.17 watch and gather round the cloud of them like that. 00:04:54.20\00:04:57.51 Now do they have any natural enemies 00:04:57.54\00:04:59.63 or predators that would feed on them other than 00:04:59.66\00:05:01.67 man or. Well man is the number one predator 00:05:01.70\00:05:04.27 for them and they have to be pretty careful, 00:05:04.30\00:05:07.41 they're pretty fast so they don't have too many 00:05:07.44\00:05:09.54 predators but and the great horned owls might 00:05:09.57\00:05:12.07 try to get them if they're available. 00:05:12.10\00:05:14.18 It's mostly when they're young that they have 00:05:14.21\00:05:16.22 the hardest time and only about 80 percent 00:05:16.25\00:05:18.93 of birds make it through their first year, 00:05:18.96\00:05:20.98 so it's mostly, that's a tragedy because we find 00:05:21.01\00:05:25.67 that in songbirds and many other birds and 00:05:25.70\00:05:28.14 migration radio towers, television towers 00:05:28.17\00:05:30.70 and things like that. And most people don't 00:05:30.73\00:05:32.44 realize boys and girls how many collisions that 00:05:32.47\00:05:34.76 birds do have with wires and guy-wires on antennas, 00:05:34.79\00:05:38.16 smoke stakes and things like that in migration 00:05:38.19\00:05:41.25 that always saddens me, so we get around 00:05:41.28\00:05:43.30 smokes stack like that and see these tiny 00:05:43.33\00:05:45.31 beautiful little warblers that are in transition, 00:05:45.34\00:05:47.78 migrating and fly into things like that. 00:05:47.81\00:05:50.39 But this bird, it is carnivorous right it 00:05:50.42\00:05:53.47 lives on other birds like that. And you are just 00:05:53.50\00:05:56.51 beautiful, he has a nice song, doesn't he, 00:05:56.54\00:05:59.23 he sings like that, yes. Well it strikes fear 00:05:59.26\00:06:01.51 in the hearts of some birds. Right now let me 00:06:01.54\00:06:05.19 get this, we're getting this boys and girls from 00:06:05.22\00:06:07.77 an expert and this lady knows what she is talking 00:06:07.80\00:06:10.03 about, this bird can dive out of the sky at 200 00:06:10.06\00:06:13.99 miles an hour. They've actually been clogged 00:06:14.02\00:06:16.76 about 270, so over 200 miles an hour. 00:06:16.79\00:06:20.24 That is just unbelievable. We mentioned earlier 00:06:20.27\00:06:23.74 though that they had, that their story was 00:06:23.77\00:06:25.46 tragic that were placed on the endangered 00:06:25.49\00:06:27.29 species list but as of August 1999 they've 00:06:27.32\00:06:30.49 been taken off the endangered species, 00:06:30.52\00:06:32.16 alright, so that is a definite step in the right 00:06:32.19\00:06:34.56 direction. They're now just considered a 00:06:34.59\00:06:36.03 threatened species, but they still need the 00:06:36.06\00:06:38.90 assistance and they need us to be carefully 00:06:38.93\00:06:40.64 share the earth with them, exactly. 00:06:40.67\00:06:42.34 Oh wonderful, boys and girls, Ranger Jim telling 00:06:42.37\00:06:45.21 you don't forget to tell Jesus that you love him 00:06:45.24\00:06:47.68 because he really does love you. 00:06:47.71\00:06:51.14 Hey kids have you ever wondered about what 00:07:00.10\00:07:02.03 the pastor was preaching about? 00:07:02.06\00:07:03.57 One night a man came out to pastor Ackley. 00:07:03.60\00:07:06.07 He didn't understand about Jesus rising from 00:07:06.10\00:07:08.20 the dead and so he wondered why he should 00:07:08.23\00:07:09.80 serve somebody who is dead. Pastor Ackley 00:07:09.83\00:07:12.26 was so happy to explain that Jesus wasn't dead 00:07:12.29\00:07:14.34 but he is alive. Later as he was reading his 00:07:14.37\00:07:16.89 Bible Pastor Ackley understood in a new 00:07:16.92\00:07:19.22 way the words he is risen. Always ready 00:07:19.25\00:07:21.85 for new sermon ideas and songs, he wrote down 00:07:21.88\00:07:24.44 the words to the song he lives. The thought 00:07:24.47\00:07:27.39 of Christ being alive made the words come quickly 00:07:27.42\00:07:29.51 and easily. Just remember boys and girls 00:07:29.54\00:07:33.23 no matter what Satan did to Jesus on 00:07:33.26\00:07:35.73 that cross. Satan lost, Jesus won, he lives. 00:07:35.76\00:07:40.68 I serve a risen Savior, he's in the world today; 00:07:45.21\00:07:49.37 I know that he is living whatever men may say; 00:07:49.40\00:07:53.62 I see his hand of mercy; I hear his voice of cheer, 00:07:53.65\00:07:57.87 And just the time I need him, he's always there 00:07:57.90\00:08:02.13 He lives, he lives, Christ Jesus lives today! 00:08:02.16\00:08:06.94 He walks with me and talks with me 00:08:06.97\00:08:09.28 along life's narrow way. 00:08:09.31\00:08:11.50 He lives, he lives, salvation to impart! 00:08:11.53\00:08:16.95 You ask me how I know he lives? 00:08:16.98\00:08:21.91 He lives within my heart. 00:08:21.94\00:08:28.30 Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian, 00:08:30.45\00:08:32.61 Lift up your voice and sing. 00:08:32.64\00:08:34.43 Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ the King! 00:08:34.46\00:08:38.64 The hope of all who seek him, The help of all who find, 00:08:38.67\00:08:42.79 None other is so loving, so good and kind. 00:08:42.82\00:08:47.36 He lives, he lives, Christ Jesus lives today! 00:08:47.39\00:08:51.71 He walks with me and talks with me 00:08:51.74\00:08:53.98 along life's narrow way. 00:08:54.01\00:08:56.11 He lives, he lives, salvation to impart! 00:08:56.14\00:09:01.47 You ask me how I know he lives? 00:09:01.50\00:09:06.51 He lives within my heart. 00:09:06.54\00:09:14.93 Welcome to learning time, I'm glad that 00:09:23.98\00:09:26.16 you've joined us today. Has anybody ever asked 00:09:26.19\00:09:29.78 you an impossible task to do, has anybody ever 00:09:29.81\00:09:33.41 asked you to do something that was impossible? 00:09:33.44\00:09:35.23 Well sometimes people ask us things and sometimes 00:09:35.26\00:09:38.97 we have problems that are just too hard for us 00:09:39.00\00:09:40.98 to solve. I've got a problem for you to try 00:09:41.01\00:09:43.79 to solve today. Now everybody has a pair 00:09:43.82\00:09:46.45 of scissors. If you have some scissors 00:09:46.48\00:09:48.15 and a piece of paper you can try this too at 00:09:48.18\00:09:50.66 your home because this is really fun and it's really, 00:09:50.69\00:09:53.63 really good science. Now I want you to hold 00:09:53.66\00:09:55.91 your paper up like this, and with our scissors 00:09:55.94\00:09:58.28 today we're gonna try to put a hole. 00:09:58.31\00:10:01.02 We're gonna cut a hole in a piece of paper big 00:10:01.05\00:10:04.04 enough, so that you can walk right through it. 00:10:04.07\00:10:07.25 In fact I've got Jesse right here. 00:10:07.28\00:10:09.38 Jesse is gonna help me and Chloe, and Jesse 00:10:09.41\00:10:12.01 is going to walk through a hole in a sheet of paper 00:10:12.04\00:10:15.19 that Chloe and I are going to hold and that's 00:10:15.22\00:10:18.06 going to be exciting. But first I want you 00:10:18.09\00:10:19.96 to try it, so why don't you try to cut a hole 00:10:19.99\00:10:22.82 in a piece of paper big enough for you to fit 00:10:22.85\00:10:26.46 right through it can you that, go ahead cut it. 00:10:26.49\00:10:28.95 Make that hole as big as you can and we are gonna 00:10:28.98\00:10:31.44 see if they can do this, because this is a great 00:10:31.47\00:10:34.27 project in engineering and design. 00:10:34.30\00:10:37.39 So we're just gonna cut this, we'll gonna make 00:10:37.42\00:10:39.39 that hole as big as we can, how are you doing, 00:10:39.42\00:10:42.15 you're doing good. Who's got their hole ready 00:10:42.18\00:10:44.11 already? Who's got it ready? Anybody got it ready? 00:10:44.14\00:10:47.41 I want to see you a hole, who's got it. 00:10:47.44\00:10:50.29 You got a hole over there; oh I am seeing one 00:10:50.32\00:10:53.21 over there. Oh look at there I can see you 00:10:53.24\00:10:55.53 through that hole, he is got a hole that he could 00:10:55.56\00:10:57.41 put his whole face right through but you know 00:10:57.44\00:10:59.95 what Jesse's got a walk through that hole in that 00:10:59.98\00:11:03.07 piece of paper. So how we are doing, 00:11:03.10\00:11:06.26 can I see yours? Let's take a look at Chloe's, 00:11:06.29\00:11:08.66 look at Chloe's, this is interesting. 00:11:08.69\00:11:10.91 Let's see can I walk through this, 00:11:10.94\00:11:12.85 I can get my head through there Chloe 00:11:12.88\00:11:14.78 I am not going to be able to do that, 00:11:14.81\00:11:16.57 so I'll tell you what? Let's see if we can 00:11:16.60\00:11:18.00 get Jesse, Jesse, can you walk through that. 00:11:18.03\00:11:19.94 It's not gonna, oh it's not gonna work, 00:11:19.97\00:11:22.11 it's not big enough. You know some times our 00:11:22.14\00:11:24.90 problems seem to be too hard for us. 00:11:24.93\00:11:27.86 And so you know how we solve those kind of hard 00:11:27.89\00:11:29.99 problems. We ask for help and somebody can 00:11:30.02\00:11:33.58 help us with those problems. And I got 00:11:33.61\00:11:35.95 a sheet of paper right here on my sheet of paper, 00:11:35.98\00:11:39.45 I have a plan, I have lines and dots and 00:11:39.48\00:11:43.57 if you're cut on the lines and if you fold on 00:11:43.60\00:11:47.02 the dots you'll be able to do what I did just 00:11:47.05\00:11:50.66 before this program. And here's my sheet of paper, 00:11:50.69\00:11:53.71 I am gonna hold it up, so that you can kind of see 00:11:53.74\00:11:55.95 this. I am gonna take the sheet of paper right off 00:11:55.98\00:11:59.12 of this index thing and let's see if this is big 00:11:59.15\00:12:03.19 enough and Chloe, Why don't you to hang on to 00:12:03.22\00:12:05.72 that part of it right there, okay and put your foot 00:12:05.75\00:12:09.10 kind of, oh oh, it just tore didn't it? 00:12:09.13\00:12:11.58 Well we'll put it right here, we're gonna glue 00:12:11.61\00:12:13.45 this thing back together, I'm gonna step on this 00:12:13.48\00:12:15.67 part right here alright and we're gonna hold it open. 00:12:15.70\00:12:18.52 Now Jesse can you walk through this piece of paper, 00:12:18.55\00:12:21.39 yeah, well go ahead, just step right through that. 00:12:21.42\00:12:24.09 Hey, give Jesse a hand, this is great. 00:12:24.12\00:12:27.03 If you ever want to do something that seems 00:12:27.06\00:12:30.03 to be impossible like making a hole in one 00:12:30.06\00:12:33.55 sheet of paper that sounds like its impossible 00:12:33.58\00:12:36.09 doesn't it? But it's not if you've got the pattern, 00:12:36.12\00:12:39.41 if you got the plan. You know there are people 00:12:39.44\00:12:42.23 that can help you, there are people that can 00:12:42.26\00:12:45.13 help me with our problems, all we have to do is ask 00:12:45.16\00:12:47.96 them. This is a great exercise in engineering 00:12:47.99\00:12:51.52 and design, isn't it? Oh yeah and you know 00:12:51.55\00:12:54.99 boys and girls who is the best person that 00:12:55.02\00:12:58.29 we can take our problems to? God. 00:12:58.32\00:13:01.51 Well it's Jesus because he can solve all our 00:13:01.54\00:13:03.83 problems if we just tell him about it he wants 00:13:03.86\00:13:06.42 to help us and he wants to take all of 00:13:06.45\00:13:08.55 our problems, that is what I really appreciate 00:13:08.58\00:13:12.42 about Jesus. Remember when we learn science 00:13:12.45\00:13:16.80 we're learning something new about our creator God. 00:13:16.83\00:13:20.74 Oh sir, sir, would you like to buy some pretty fabric. 00:13:36.54\00:13:41.82 Oh, I'm sorry, I can't but this fabric reminds 00:13:41.85\00:13:46.09 me of someone. Does it? Yeah. 00:13:46.12\00:13:48.15 Tell me about it, what is your name? 00:13:48.18\00:13:49.87 Oh I'm Claudia and you are? My name is Paul. 00:13:49.90\00:13:53.39 Paul. Yes, from Tarsus. Oh Are you the Paul 00:13:53.42\00:13:57.37 the Apostle, yes, yes. Oh well it's nice to meet 00:13:57.40\00:14:00.80 you Paul. Thank you, thank you. 00:14:00.83\00:14:02.23 This material reminds me of a lady named Lydia 00:14:02.26\00:14:06.82 from Thyatira, really I, selling purple. 00:14:06.85\00:14:10.05 I think I've heard about Lydia yes. Oh a lady, 00:14:10.08\00:14:13.08 do you know her well? Yes, yes. 00:14:13.11\00:14:15.17 We were visiting the village of Thyatira, yes, 00:14:15.20\00:14:19.54 traveling through. It was on Sabbath where we 00:14:19.57\00:14:22.65 walked out to the river. Oh it's so pretty at the 00:14:22.68\00:14:25.91 river, beautiful, its beautiful place. 00:14:25.94\00:14:27.59 And a great place to spend the Sabbath, yes, 00:14:27.62\00:14:30.11 what happened? Lydia was there with several 00:14:30.14\00:14:32.73 other ladies, we went over, sat down and just 00:14:32.76\00:14:37.46 started talking with them, yes. She asked me where 00:14:37.49\00:14:42.92 I was from, I told her, yes. But then I started 00:14:42.95\00:14:47.19 telling her the most important thing I know. 00:14:47.22\00:14:49.34 What was that? That is about Jesus Christ. 00:14:49.37\00:14:53.19 I've heard about him, I don't know much 00:14:53.22\00:14:57.30 but I've heard he's a good man, 00:14:57.33\00:14:59.88 I would love to tell you about him, would you? 00:14:59.91\00:15:02.13 Yes. He grew up in Nazareth, he was in a 00:15:02.16\00:15:06.05 carpenter shop, yes, and then he left the 00:15:06.08\00:15:11.30 carpenter shop went out into the wilderness. 00:15:11.33\00:15:14.37 Why did he do that? He needed time alone with 00:15:14.40\00:15:17.77 his God, you know in a busy village sometimes 00:15:17.80\00:15:20.83 you need to get away. Well he stayed away for 00:15:20.86\00:15:23.45 over 30 days, 40 days to be exact, so long, 00:15:23.48\00:15:27.40 so long. Called 12 men to become disciples and 00:15:27.43\00:15:31.88 then this Jesus went around the villages, 00:15:31.91\00:15:35.42 healing the sick, healing the blind, raising the 00:15:35.45\00:15:39.81 dead Claudia. No, it was really true, it's all true. 00:15:39.84\00:15:44.42 I heard things like that but I didn't know 00:15:44.45\00:15:46.78 if I should believe it or not you know. 00:15:46.81\00:15:48.50 Then you probably also heard that they took 00:15:48.53\00:15:51.03 him out and crucified him, yes, I did hear about that. 00:15:51.06\00:15:54.56 His disciples ran, but on Sunday he rose from 00:15:54.59\00:16:00.93 the tomb, he had conquered death, 00:16:00.96\00:16:03.42 the 12 disciples that had run in every direction 00:16:03.45\00:16:06.04 were now in the downtown village and telling about 00:16:06.07\00:16:08.60 him, is it really true? Yes, it is, I mean I had 00:16:08.63\00:16:11.07 heard something like that, yes. It's really true? 00:16:11.10\00:16:13.88 And I saw him myself, I was on a horse on the 00:16:13.91\00:16:16.54 way to Damascus, he blinded me and now 00:16:16.57\00:16:19.01 I'm his follower I can see and I can't wait until 00:16:19.04\00:16:23.50 he returns. I got to know more about this Jesus, 00:16:23.53\00:16:27.46 Lydia was the woman who was the most hospitable. 00:16:27.49\00:16:31.90 I want to tell you more Claudia; 00:16:33.14\00:16:34.80 oh I would love to hear more. Thank you. Paul, 00:16:34.83\00:16:39.36 yes, why don't you stay in our village? 00:16:39.39\00:16:43.08 Wherever they ask us to stay, we stay until 00:16:43.11\00:16:45.78 they throw us out, oh, we love to. 00:16:45.81\00:16:48.10 Then I can know more about this Jesus. 00:16:48.13\00:16:51.50 I'll see you tomorrow Claudia, okay thank you, 00:16:51.53\00:16:54.08 bye, bye. Thank you, thank you, 00:16:54.11\00:16:55.08 goodbye now, bye, bye. 00:16:55.09\00:16:56.75 He is Lord, He is Lord! 00:17:12.52\00:17:21.94 He has risen from the dead, and He is Lord! 00:17:21.97\00:17:31.97 Every knee shall bow, Every tongue confess, 00:17:32.00\00:17:43.56 That Jesus Christ is Lord He is Lord, He is Lord! 00:17:43.59\00:18:02.93 He has risen from the dead, and He is Lord! 00:18:02.96\00:18:13.12 Every knee shall bow, Every tongue confess, 00:18:13.15\00:18:24.49 That Jesus Christ is Lord. 00:18:24.52\00:18:33.75 Hi boys and girls it's time for Miss Brenda's 00:18:42.81\00:18:48.25 book of the day. When Chris's brother begins to feed 00:19:24.74\00:19:27.67 other wild raccoons at the creek, Chris just knows 00:19:27.70\00:19:30.63 that these wild raccoons will lure Skeeter away 00:19:30.66\00:19:33.51 from him. What can he do to make his water-loving, 00:19:33.54\00:19:36.81 TV-watching, gross-bug- chewing friend stay with 00:19:36.84\00:19:40.50 him? [Foreign language] 00:20:58.72\00:21:08.00 And they ask a lot of questions why I go to 00:21:08.03\00:21:10.80 church, because normally children don't 00:21:10.83\00:21:12.61 go to church, Okay. It says dear 00:23:48.66\00:23:51.36 Miss Brenda, I've already been signed up 00:23:51.39\00:23:53.78 and I have an activity book but we've been 00:23:53.81\00:23:55.86 hoping that you could please pray for a family 00:23:55.89\00:23:58.40 who lost their daughter, she was hit by a pickup 00:23:58.43\00:24:01.82 truck and had fatal head injuries. 00:24:01.85\00:24:04.15 The family is the Puska family, please pray 00:24:04.18\00:24:07.63 for them Miss Brenda, sincerely Cassie. 00:24:07.66\00:24:09.99 Well Cassie, I'm glad that you wrote me 00:24:10.02\00:24:13.63 and ask me, you know prayer is a very powerful 00:24:13.66\00:24:16.18 thing, and it's a sad thing when we lose someone 00:24:16.21\00:24:18.82 close to us isn't it?
