It's time to share there's a world out there, 00:00:03.36\00:00:06.80 Looking for a friend like Jesus. It's time to share 00:00:07.20\00:00:11.77 there's a world out there; let's tell them 00:00:11.80\00:00:14.32 that He loves us so. Let's tell them that He 00:00:14.35\00:00:18.16 loves us so. Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:00:18.19\00:00:24.63 Hi boys and girls, do you know what seems like 00:00:24.66\00:00:27.17 every time I pick up a newspaper. 00:00:27.20\00:00:29.26 I read about another terrible storm that's 00:00:29.63\00:00:32.60 happened somewhere in the world. 00:00:32.63\00:00:33.84 Do you know I'm so glad we don't have to 00:00:34.57\00:00:35.99 be afraid of storms? We can trust God to care 00:00:36.02\00:00:39.23 of us just as he promised. Do you know that prophet 00:00:39.26\00:00:42.62 David once wrote in Psalms 91:11 and I wanna 00:00:42.65\00:00:46.05 read this for you, because it means a lot to me. 00:00:46.08\00:00:49.54 It says, "For he shall give his angels charge over 00:00:49.57\00:00:52.59 thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." 00:00:52.62\00:00:55.27 That's an amazing thing to know that God has 00:00:55.98\00:00:58.21 given his angels charge over us isn't it. 00:00:58.24\00:01:00.30 We cannot run into his arms fast enough 00:01:01.10\00:01:03.81 whenever we feel afraid. My friend Lisa found a 00:01:03.84\00:01:07.83 baby Raccoon in her backyard once. 00:01:07.86\00:01:09.83 Apparently he had lost his mother and he decided 00:01:10.37\00:01:12.65 Lisa would be a good mother for him. 00:01:12.68\00:01:14.36 He followed her everywhere she went 00:01:14.91\00:01:16.59 even when she mowed the lawn, and at night he 00:01:16.62\00:01:19.51 would curl up in his little cage on her back porch, 00:01:19.54\00:01:22.08 except when there was a storm. Now when a storm 00:01:22.40\00:01:25.83 came he grew terrified and he would just squeeze 00:01:25.86\00:01:29.60 out of his cage and then he squeeze under the door 00:01:29.63\00:01:32.20 into Lisa's son room and in the morning when Lisa 00:01:32.23\00:01:35.16 open the son room door that little Raccoon would 00:01:35.19\00:01:37.75 run straight to her. He knew he was safe with her. 00:01:37.78\00:01:41.75 In our Bible story today we will see how 00:01:42.79\00:01:44.68 that disciples learn to trust Jesus through a 00:01:44.71\00:01:47.16 storm, just like the little Raccoon learn to trust Lisa. 00:01:47.19\00:01:50.46 We can run to Jesus for safety and comfort just 00:01:51.19\00:01:54.58 like that little Raccoon went to Lisa. Storms may 00:01:54.61\00:01:58.14 come and go in this life, but we can always trust 00:01:58.17\00:02:01.31 Jesus to lead to us to safety to our new home 00:02:01.34\00:02:04.35 in heaven someday. No matter what kind of 00:02:04.38\00:02:06.76 storms and trials we have to go through to get there, 00:02:06.79\00:02:09.54 we can always trust and depend on Jesus. 00:02:09.57\00:02:12.40 Let's visit now with Emily I know she has 00:02:13.14\00:02:15.46 something special in the garden to share with us. 00:02:15.49\00:02:17.53 Well hi boys and girls, I'm so excited that you 00:02:25.92\00:02:28.91 are joining me here today. Do you know where I'm 00:02:28.94\00:02:31.26 at, I'm in my really, really big herb garden and 00:02:31.29\00:02:35.56 joining me are two extra special garden helpers. 00:02:35.59\00:02:39.19 Right here I have Abbie and this is Cathleen and 00:02:39.73\00:02:42.06 they are gonna help me explore and discover 00:02:42.09\00:02:44.14 new herbs in the garden. Now do you guys know 00:02:44.17\00:02:47.13 what an herb is? Yeah. Do you know what it is 00:02:47.16\00:02:49.94 Cathleen? It's something that you eat. 00:02:49.97\00:02:52.82 That's right good job Cathleen. Herbs are 00:02:53.47\00:02:56.67 actually edible, you can actually eat herbs. 00:02:56.70\00:02:59.29 They are used a lot in cooking, a lot in salads. 00:02:59.64\00:03:04.04 I love eating a salad and I love putting parsley and 00:03:04.07\00:03:07.26 chives in them. It just gives an extra special 00:03:07.29\00:03:09.63 flavor to my lettuce. Another thing that you 00:03:09.66\00:03:12.55 can do for herbs is using them in craft. 00:03:12.58\00:03:14.64 You can actually make soaps and lotions and add 00:03:14.67\00:03:17.52 herbs such as rosemary as we have here and it 00:03:17.55\00:03:20.68 makes the bass smell very good whenever you 00:03:20.71\00:03:23.22 use rosemary soap. Now what's really neat about 00:03:23.25\00:03:26.65 herbs is the way that they smell. Can you guys 00:03:26.68\00:03:29.64 smell, doesn't it smell really good in here. 00:03:29.67\00:03:31.71 Now Abbie what does that smell, does it smell good? 00:03:31.74\00:03:35.06 You know the best way to get herbs is smell really 00:03:35.09\00:03:38.78 good when you are walking through a garden. 00:03:38.81\00:03:40.51 You guys all you wanna do is you wanna take this 00:03:40.81\00:03:43.40 and you just wanna rub it. Now just rub it 00:03:49.19\00:03:51.21 between your fingers. Okay are you ready? 00:03:51.24\00:03:53.08 If we just rub in between your two fingers and you 00:03:54.07\00:03:56.13 smell your fingers then oh and it really, by rubbing 00:03:56.16\00:03:59.74 it you are really getting the flavor out of the 00:03:59.77\00:04:01.71 leaves and getting all the oils of the leaves and 00:04:01.74\00:04:03.65 it smells so good. Does it smell good. Yeah. 00:04:03.68\00:04:05.99 Does it smell sweet Cathleen? Yeah, 00:04:06.02\00:04:07.92 wish I could eat it. Oh me too, I'm so hungry. 00:04:08.40\00:04:12.24 Well you know one herb that we eat a lot are 00:04:12.65\00:04:16.01 called chives and I just picked these 00:04:16.04\00:04:18.35 chives this morning. Aren't they pretty. 00:04:18.38\00:04:20.49 Do you guys like the color purple? Yeah. 00:04:21.42\00:04:23.38 Me too, pink and purple and red and orange and 00:04:23.41\00:04:27.24 white. Are those your favorite colors? 00:04:27.27\00:04:29.09 Well me too. Well what chives are really great 00:04:29.12\00:04:32.05 to add as a really oniony flavor. 00:04:32.08\00:04:34.23 Do you boys and girls do you like to eat onions? 00:04:34.62\00:04:36.71 Oh, do you like to eat onions. Yes. 00:04:37.15\00:04:39.25 They are kind of spicy, but they should add a 00:04:39.28\00:04:41.02 lot of flavor to your salad or your vegetables right. 00:04:41.05\00:04:43.75 Well what I'm gonna have the best way to 00:04:44.63\00:04:46.99 smell a chive is to break the blade in half and then 00:04:47.02\00:04:51.43 you smell it at the end of the blade. 00:04:51.46\00:04:52.82 Can you guys smell that for me? 00:04:52.85\00:04:54.30 And I'd say remember you ate it. Yeah it smells 00:04:55.54\00:04:58.81 almost like an onion doesn't it. Yeah. 00:04:58.84\00:05:00.76 Well we are gonna try a little piece of this. 00:05:01.32\00:05:03.57 Are you ready for this boys and girls at home. 00:05:03.60\00:05:05.53 Abbie is gonna try a little piece. 00:05:06.00\00:05:07.30 Do you wanna try a little piece Cathleen? 00:05:07.33\00:05:08.94 It tastes really kind of onion. 00:05:09.54\00:05:11.24 I will try a piece too. Is that taste good. 00:05:11.27\00:05:17.77 Well another herb that we eat a lot on our plates if 00:05:20.07\00:05:22.56 you go out to eat in a restaurant. 00:05:22.59\00:05:23.99 You might see this herb on it and its called parsley 00:05:24.23\00:05:27.99 and it's another herb that you can eat. 00:05:28.42\00:05:30.13 Have you guys seen this before parsley? 00:05:30.50\00:05:32.36 It's got a really pretty little delicate curly leaf 00:05:32.77\00:05:35.66 if you look at it. I can eat this. Oh doesn't it 00:05:35.69\00:05:38.28 look like you can eat it? Well lot of times if you 00:05:38.31\00:05:40.91 go to a big restaurant you might see a piece of 00:05:40.94\00:05:44.61 parsley garnished on the plate. Now do you know 00:05:44.64\00:05:48.68 that's really neat about parsley is that if you eat 00:05:48.71\00:05:51.18 it actually it's a breath fresher, so its just like 00:05:51.21\00:05:53.95 eating a mint or something and that's why they put 00:05:53.98\00:05:56.16 on your plate at a restaurant. 00:05:56.19\00:05:57.39 You guys want to try it little bit? 00:05:57.80\00:05:58.86 It doesn't really have that much flavor, but it 00:06:01.38\00:06:03.19 actually does freshen your breath. 00:06:03.22\00:06:04.66 What do you guys think? Its taste is good. 00:06:06.86\00:06:10.18 Oh doesn't it taste. It does taste good. 00:06:10.21\00:06:13.48 Well boys and girls in my herb garden as you can 00:06:14.19\00:06:16.79 see a lot of these herbs like to grow in full sun, 00:06:16.82\00:06:20.28 so if you wanna plant herbs in your garden 00:06:20.58\00:06:22.53 make sure they get at least six hours of sunlight 00:06:22.85\00:06:25.47 everyday and make sure that you plant them 00:06:25.50\00:06:27.97 maybe close to your kitchen or in a window 00:06:28.00\00:06:30.39 so, in your kitchen so that really close to use in 00:06:30.42\00:06:33.01 kitchen. Doesn't that smell good? 00:06:33.04\00:06:35.93 I wish I could eat this. Oh yeah, but boys and girls 00:06:35.96\00:06:40.15 make sure that before trying any plants in your 00:06:40.18\00:06:42.75 garden that you ask your parents to see 00:06:42.78\00:06:44.30 if it's okay to eat. Oh just taste so good doesn't it? 00:06:44.33\00:06:48.99 Well boys and girls I hope you have learned 00:06:49.57\00:06:50.99 a lot about herbs today and how you can use 00:06:51.02\00:06:52.88 them in different cooking dishes and 00:06:52.91\00:06:54.59 soaps and lotions. I encourage you everyday 00:06:54.62\00:06:58.99 to sow the seeds of God's love. 00:06:59.39\00:07:01.64 Hey kids, the song Blessed Assurance was 00:07:10.77\00:07:13.41 written by Danny Crosby and Mrs. Knapp who are 00:07:13.44\00:07:16.85 very good friends. I hope you have a very good 00:07:16.88\00:07:21.54 friend to do the things with, but always 00:07:21.57\00:07:24.01 remember that Jesus is your very best friend. 00:07:24.04\00:07:26.88 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! 00:07:35.01\00:07:40.08 O what a foretaste of glory divine! 00:07:40.61\00:07:45.54 Heir of salvation, purchase of God, 00:07:46.10\00:07:51.08 Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood 00:07:51.51\00:07:56.29 This is my story, this is my song, 00:07:57.06\00:08:01.61 Praising my Savior all the day long; 00:08:02.16\00:08:06.95 This is my story, this is my song, 00:08:07.67\00:08:12.12 Praising my Savior all the day long. 00:08:12.97\00:08:17.79 This is my story, this is my song, 00:08:40.34\00:08:45.30 Praising my Savior all the day long; 00:08:45.66\00:08:50.52 This is my story, this is my song, 00:08:51.11\00:08:55.81 Praising my Savior all the day long. 00:08:56.37\00:09:01.24 Perfect submission, all is at rest, 00:09:02.15\00:09:06.55 I in my Savior am happy and blest; 00:09:07.41\00:09:11.99 Watching and waiting, looking above, 00:09:12.67\00:09:17.26 Filled with His goodness, lost in His love. 00:09:17.95\00:09:22.61 This is my story, this is my song, 00:09:23.24\00:09:27.84 Praising my Savior all the day long; 00:09:28.68\00:09:33.07 This is my story, this is my song, 00:09:33.94\00:09:38.47 Praising my Savior all the day long. 00:09:39.09\00:09:43.93 Hi today we are making my Aunt Brenda's meatloaf. 00:09:53.42\00:09:56.09 You know this isn't just any meatloaf you know 00:09:56.28\00:09:58.51 why it does not have any meat in it. 00:09:58.54\00:10:00.29 Now I bet you're thinking that sounds kind of funny. 00:10:00.71\00:10:02.61 A meatloaf without meat, but just wait until you see 00:10:02.82\00:10:05.70 my recipe. Let me go ahead and read it for you. 00:10:05.73\00:10:07.67 1 pkg. of Yves Burger, 1 onion, 1 pkg. of soft Tofu, 00:10:08.69\00:10:15.41 3 cups of quick oats, 2 cups of pecans, 00:10:16.30\00:10:20.36 3 cups of seasoned bread crumbs, 2 pkgs of good 00:10:21.32\00:10:26.39 seasons Italian dressing mix, soy milk, ketchup, 00:10:26.42\00:10:32.08 1 can of tomato soup, and 1 cup water. 00:10:32.87\00:10:36.32 Now I already have our seasoned bread crumbs 00:10:37.13\00:10:38.85 in the bowl and my Aunt Brenda actually like 00:10:38.88\00:10:41.19 stuffing mix, but you can use any kind of seasoned 00:10:41.22\00:10:43.16 bread crumbs you like, we're just gonna go ahead 00:10:43.19\00:10:44.77 and add our ingredients, our oats and our nuts 00:10:44.80\00:10:49.15 and these are finely chopped nuts. 00:10:49.89\00:10:51.41 You don't want to chop them, I already had that 00:10:51.44\00:10:53.17 done and then our burger. Now I like to use Yves 00:10:53.20\00:10:56.84 burger, but you can use any type of burger you want. 00:10:56.87\00:10:59.99 You just kind of mix this up just a little bit. 00:11:00.90\00:11:02.44 You don't have to get it real good. Now I already 00:11:03.38\00:11:06.29 have saved a little bit of time. I already have the 00:11:06.32\00:11:09.65 onion and the tofu and a little bit of water already 00:11:09.68\00:11:13.68 in here in our good seasons Italian mix and 00:11:14.58\00:11:17.61 I have just put it up and I like to use more new tofu, 00:11:17.64\00:11:20.89 but you can use any type of Tofu that you like and 00:11:21.13\00:11:24.39 this tofu, the reason I put the onions in with 00:11:24.42\00:11:26.79 that because the tofu doesn't have its own flavor. 00:11:26.82\00:11:29.80 The onions gives it flavor, so when you blend 00:11:30.18\00:11:31.97 it up it makes the tofu have the flavor of the 00:11:32.00\00:11:35.69 onions. I also used the good seasons Italian mix 00:11:35.72\00:11:38.99 and this is the good seasons. Its actually it's 00:11:39.65\00:11:43.52 my Aunt Brenda secrets uses in everything, but 00:11:43.77\00:11:46.05 it's delicious and it gives everything a good flavor. 00:11:46.08\00:11:48.73 Let's go and take this mix and put it into our dry 00:11:49.29\00:11:55.64 mixture here and just mix it up and you're gonna 00:11:55.67\00:12:03.59 continue mixing until it gets to about the right 00:12:03.62\00:12:06.79 consistency. You don't want it too dry and you 00:12:06.82\00:12:10.05 don't want it too wet either you want it sort 00:12:10.08\00:12:13.85 of hold together. Now the reason that I don't have 00:12:13.88\00:12:17.15 a certain amount on the soy milk is because there 00:12:17.18\00:12:21.47 is not an actual amount of soy milk you just put it in 00:12:21.53\00:12:24.17 until, oh careful until you can hold together for a 00:12:24.20\00:12:30.53 loaf. Mixing it, it looks like. Now my uncle Tim, 00:12:30.56\00:12:43.51 my Aunt Brenda's husband is a very picky 00:12:43.54\00:12:45.63 eater and he also struggled with stopping 00:12:45.66\00:12:49.52 to eat meat and I'm just about two years we stop 00:12:49.55\00:12:52.49 eating meat and he loved this meatloaf. 00:12:52.52\00:12:54.54 He said he couldn't even tell the difference. 00:12:54.57\00:12:56.46 Now if it's a little bit dry you can add a little bit 00:12:57.52\00:12:59.36 more soy milk. Continue mixing and if it holds 00:12:59.39\00:13:10.11 together then you know that it's good it's ready. 00:13:10.14\00:13:14.66 Now I already have some pan for you. 00:13:15.09\00:13:17.17 Set this aside and it's gonna look you notice 00:13:17.94\00:13:23.72 there is, it's not all the way to the side I left 00:13:23.75\00:13:26.18 some space in between and that's because well 00:13:26.21\00:13:29.29 I will show you that in a second. 00:13:29.32\00:13:30.29 First of all we gonna start. You gonna pre-bake it 00:13:30.55\00:13:32.83 for 30 minutes at 370 degree in oven which I've 00:13:32.86\00:13:35.65 already done and then you can take your 00:13:35.68\00:13:38.12 ketchup and you want to do a generous amount 00:13:38.15\00:13:40.73 of ketchup over the top of this. If you don't put 00:13:40.76\00:13:44.62 enough ketchup it will be dry on the top. 00:13:45.05\00:13:49.18 Put ketchup on it, generous amount. 00:13:50.87\00:13:55.20 Spread this out and then you're gonna take your 00:13:57.20\00:14:00.18 tomato soup and the tomato soup doesn't go 00:14:00.88\00:14:04.43 over the top at all. You're just gonna take it with 00:14:05.75\00:14:08.81 little bit and pour it into the sides and just fill it up 00:14:09.14\00:14:13.05 to the top of the meatloaf on both sides. 00:14:14.82\00:14:19.19 And when you get all through to the top, your 00:14:24.05\00:14:25.86 gonna bake it again for 375 for about an hour 00:14:25.89\00:14:30.00 until it's done on the top. Now I have a meatloaf 00:14:30.03\00:14:34.39 already baked that you can see what it looks like 00:14:34.42\00:14:36.08 when it's done. And it's a little bit hot on the side, 00:14:36.11\00:14:39.89 so that's why I have these hot pads and you can see 00:14:39.92\00:14:44.02 with this I didn't get enough ketchup and that's 00:14:44.05\00:14:45.59 why there is brown spots, so these brown spots is 00:14:45.62\00:14:48.33 probably doesn't put ketchup and make sure 00:14:48.36\00:14:49.90 you put a generous amount. Well, that's all 00:14:49.93\00:14:52.90 there is to the meatloaf. It's delicious and is easy 00:14:52.93\00:14:56.22 to make. Well until next time remember 00:14:56.25\00:14:59.54 to keep cooking and eat healthy. 00:14:59.57\00:15:01.71 Mom I told Anna and Seth that I will play with 00:15:09.37\00:15:12.14 them for supper. Please can I please go now? 00:15:12.17\00:15:16.04 I don't now Sarah, I've been watching those 00:15:16.65\00:15:18.61 clouds over the lake. I looks like we are gonna 00:15:18.64\00:15:20.88 have a storm and you know how afraid of 00:15:20.91\00:15:23.47 storms you are. You mean how afraid I used 00:15:23.50\00:15:26.26 to be. Well yes, but I remember the storm 00:15:26.29\00:15:29.22 that lasted all day. You were so afraid. 00:15:29.25\00:15:31.75 You weren't here, I couldn't find you, 00:15:32.06\00:15:33.95 I was so worried. Worry, I think Jesus taught us 00:15:34.21\00:15:38.73 both something about that. I remember it as 00:15:38.76\00:15:41.68 long as I live. Remember how we sat all day on 00:15:41.71\00:15:46.30 the hillside listening to Jesus tell stories. 00:15:46.33\00:15:48.61 Thank you so much mom for bringing me my 00:15:48.96\00:15:51.62 lunch, because that was all I had to eat for the 00:15:51.65\00:15:54.53 whole day and poor Jesus, he didn't even stop 00:15:54.56\00:15:59.52 to eat. He just kept on giving his plain and 00:15:59.55\00:16:02.50 simple answers. So simple that a kid 00:16:02.53\00:16:05.06 could understand it and I mean a little kid. 00:16:05.09\00:16:07.83 When we got on our neighbor's boat, I didn't 00:16:08.79\00:16:11.39 think that we would soon be fighting to save our lives. 00:16:11.42\00:16:15.51 When we got in the boat the wind was howling and 00:16:17.44\00:16:21.18 the thunder was so, so loud. Once I almost fell 00:16:21.21\00:16:26.45 out of the boat, but then I just looked over Jesus 00:16:26.48\00:16:31.48 and I couldn't see him that's because he was still 00:16:32.17\00:16:34.70 asleep. Mom, do you remember once when 00:16:35.13\00:16:40.38 the lighting got up the whole sky. I do. 00:16:40.82\00:16:44.72 Yeah and then Peter must have looked over into the 00:16:45.14\00:16:48.17 back of the boat and saw Jesus was still sleeping 00:16:48.20\00:16:50.98 and then the disciple shouted at the top of 00:16:51.70\00:16:54.31 their lungs master, master don't you care if we die, 00:16:54.34\00:16:58.25 and then Jesus woke up. When he woke up 00:16:58.92\00:17:01.65 I though that he would start helping his friends 00:17:02.46\00:17:04.29 save the boat, but he didn't. He just spoke, 00:17:04.47\00:17:08.96 he just stood up and spoken to the winds and 00:17:09.31\00:17:11.67 waves and said please be still and it was. 00:17:11.70\00:17:15.01 It was still. I remember that, you know I felt we 00:17:15.52\00:17:18.88 are all going to die and then the next month we 00:17:18.91\00:17:22.00 were sailing on a sea of glass. 00:17:22.03\00:17:24.03 Do you remember what he said to his disciples? 00:17:24.56\00:17:26.74 You mean when he asked them why were they 00:17:27.10\00:17:28.69 afraid? Yes and he said where is your faith. 00:17:28.72\00:17:31.16 Mom, that really made me think. You see I watch 00:17:31.65\00:17:34.98 Jesus disciples want to save the boat. 00:17:35.01\00:17:37.44 It was like that they forgot Jesus was even in 00:17:37.79\00:17:40.67 the boat, but now mom I know that if Jesus can 00:17:40.70\00:17:45.40 calm a storm like that, then there is no storm in 00:17:45.43\00:17:48.17 my life he can't handle, but mom I'm afraid of 00:17:48.20\00:17:51.93 the storm that's coming. Will you pray with me? 00:17:51.96\00:17:54.60 I think that's a wonderful idea. 00:17:55.09\00:17:56.65 Dear Jesus, thank you so much for the lesson that 00:18:03.03\00:18:06.01 you thought me on the lake that night. 00:18:06.04\00:18:07.59 You are my best friend Jesus. Thank you for 00:18:08.28\00:18:11.15 being my best friend and thank you for saving me 00:18:11.18\00:18:15.69 and Lord I'm afraid of the storm that's coming now 00:18:15.95\00:18:19.01 and I'm asking you to take care of me now just 00:18:19.43\00:18:21.90 like you did before on the lake that night. 00:18:21.93\00:18:23.95 Thank you Jesus, amen. Amen. 00:18:24.55\00:18:26.79 We better go Sara, it's time probably daddy is 00:18:29.44\00:18:31.99 getting worried about us. Probably, let's go. 00:18:32.02\00:18:34.64 Jesus loves the little children 00:18:52.81\00:18:56.77 All the children of the world 00:18:57.22\00:19:00.22 Brown and yellow, black and white 00:19:00.63\00:19:02.42 all are precious in his sight 00:19:02.78\00:19:04.50 Jesus loves the little children of the world 00:19:04.84\00:19:08.31 Jesus loves the little children 00:19:09.45\00:19:13.10 All the children of the world 00:19:13.48\00:19:16.65 Brown and yellow, black and white 00:19:17.54\00:19:20.86 all are precious in his sight 00:19:21.61\00:19:24.79 Jesus loves the little children of the world 00:19:25.43\00:19:30.60 My father is rich and has lands, 00:19:31.11\00:19:35.04 He is rich in his love for everyone, 00:19:35.38\00:19:39.12 He loves all the children like you and me 00:19:39.50\00:19:43.21 and that's one big big family, 00:19:43.70\00:19:47.43 Jesus loves the little children of the world 00:19:48.18\00:19:53.25 Hi boys and girls, do you know what time it is? 00:20:02.37\00:20:04.91 You're right, it's time for Miss. Brenda's 00:20:05.24\00:20:07.19 book of the day and my book of the day boys and girls 00:20:07.41\00:20:10.92 is calls the Bandit of Benson Park it's by 00:20:10.95\00:20:13.32 Charles Mills and just wait to hear this. 00:20:13.35\00:20:16.20 Something strange is about to develop in 00:20:17.03\00:20:19.09 Benson Park. Alex Timmons and his friends 00:20:19.12\00:20:21.80 Shane and Alicia are determined to earn 00:20:21.95\00:20:24.01 every Pathfinder honor there is, so that's why 00:20:24.16\00:20:26.75 they formed the Honors Club. Their very first 00:20:26.78\00:20:29.44 assignment is to photograph a wild animal 00:20:29.47\00:20:31.82 to earn their photography honor. 00:20:31.85\00:20:33.31 They set their sights on a squirrel in Benson Park, 00:20:33.90\00:20:36.43 just waiting to be captured on film when the 00:20:36.78\00:20:39.74 pesky rodent eludes them. Alex calls on Kobe the 00:20:39.77\00:20:43.28 teenage genius. Kobe rigs up a clever camera 00:20:43.31\00:20:46.62 contraption to snap the picture at night. 00:20:46.65\00:20:48.60 As their photo develops however it reveals far 00:20:49.36\00:20:52.83 more than a shy squirrel. A thief is lurking in the 00:20:52.86\00:20:56.63 background and he is flashing a gun. 00:20:56.66\00:20:58.52 Fear grips the quiet college town and the 00:20:58.97\00:21:01.22 photo puts the friends in danger and but I'm not 00:21:01.25\00:21:04.57 gonna tell you anymore. You're gonna have to get 00:21:04.60\00:21:06.08 the book. The Bandit of Benson Park. 00:21:06.11\00:21:08.86 Well one thing you won't have to wait for boys 00:21:09.74\00:21:11.53 and girls is some letters. Brenda, my name is Harrington 00:21:21.86\00:21:24.51 Brown. I'm eight years old, I'm in the fourth 00:21:24.54\00:21:26.88 grade and in Florida, and I'm writing you this 00:21:26.91\00:21:30.89 letter to tell you that I enjoy, what I enjoy 00:21:30.92\00:21:33.19 doing for Jesus at Port Charles. I mean Port 00:21:33.22\00:21:35.86 Charlotte. I'm writing, I have written to you 00:21:35.89\00:21:39.68 before and you have answered my email, 00:21:39.71\00:21:41.55 so thank you. I love Jesus very much and when 00:21:41.58\00:21:44.12 I was in pre-school I gave my heart to Jesus. 00:21:44.15\00:21:46.59 When I lived in Rochester, New York, I tried 00:21:46.62\00:21:49.15 witnessing to my bus driver. He was very kind 00:21:49.18\00:21:51.74 to me and he was a very nice person, but when 00:21:51.77\00:21:53.94 I told him about Jesus, he said stick to your own 00:21:53.97\00:21:57.12 religion and I will stick to mine. Says I'm praying 00:21:57.15\00:22:01.33 for him, because Jesus can still help him to be 00:22:01.36\00:22:03.68 part of his family and I planted the seed and 00:22:03.71\00:22:06.22 I believe God will help it to know him better. 00:22:06.25\00:22:08.88 I also witnessed to my friends about my choice 00:22:09.19\00:22:11.43 to be a vegetarian. I'm excited to tell people 00:22:11.46\00:22:14.08 that my choice to eat right has helped me as it 00:22:14.11\00:22:16.67 did Daniel and his friends in Babylon. 00:22:16.70\00:22:18.67 I'm glad that I'm a vegetarian. 00:22:19.20\00:22:20.74 Pray for me that God will use me to encourage other 00:22:21.09\00:22:23.41 children to eat right, because our bodies are 00:22:23.44\00:22:25.17 the temple of the living God. PS, I pray for you 00:22:25.20\00:22:28.37 and your program that God will continue to 00:22:28.40\00:22:30.05 reach and bless kids like me, sincerely, Harrington. 00:22:30.08\00:22:33.32 Please look at my picture. 00:22:33.61\00:22:34.60 Wow we all look at his picture. 00:22:34.63\00:22:36.23 This is it looks like a picture of Harrington 00:22:36.81\00:22:38.97 he write down here.
