00:03 It's time to share there's a world out there,
00:07 looking for a friend like Jesus.
00:10 It's time to share there's a world out there;
00:13 let's tell them that He loves us so.
00:17 Let's tell them that He loves us so.
00:20 Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time.
00:25 Hi boys and girls! I have in my hand
00:27 a bottle of honey, now this one's shaped
00:29 like a bear, and that's probably because
00:31 bears are well known for their love of honey.
00:34 I think I'll just taste me some too.
00:37 Hmm, that tastes so sweet and so good.
00:41 You probably know where honey comes
00:42 from don't you? Well, that's right,
00:46 honey comes from honey bees.
00:49 Those buzzy and busy little insects that you
00:51 see flying all around in the warm weather,
00:54 getting sweet nectar from flowers.
00:56 Then, they take it right back to their hives
00:59 and they turn it into honey. Now since bees
01:02 always make more honey then they need
01:04 for themselves, the bee farmer harvests
01:07 the extra honey and do you know what they do,
01:09 they sell it into stores and you can buy it
01:12 in little containers like this or others containers
01:15 and have it at your house. And we can spread it
01:18 on toast and put it on our cereal and we can
01:22 even use it in recipes. I'm glad God made honey bees
01:25 aren't you. Did you ever stop to think of how
01:29 thoughtful God was to create us with the ability
01:32 to taste? Do you know our tongues have little
01:35 tiny bumps on them called Taste Buds,
01:39 and because of those taste buds we can taste
01:41 the sweetness of honey? We can also taste
01:44 things that are bitter and salty and sour.
01:48 I know God loves to make us happy and the
01:50 food that we eat does give us pleasure
01:53 doesn't it. Today's Bible story tells of a special
01:56 food that God created that tasted
01:59 a lot like honey. It was called Manna.
02:03 Now why don't you see what else you can learn
02:05 about manna today as you listen to the Bible story,
02:08 but first Ranger Jim has a dog to
02:10 show us with a very unusual name.
02:20 Hi boys and girls, Ranger Jim saying welcome
02:22 to Nature Time. Look what we have here today,
02:25 isn't this is a beautiful creature.
02:27 Our friend Leanne is with us and she is going
02:28 to tell us all about it. Leanne, what is this dog?
02:30 This is a Whippet and his name is Nick.
02:34 And he is about three years old.
02:36 His color is what we called Brindle,
02:39 and we've had him since he was just a six week
02:43 old puppy, just a little guy, yes and he's had
02:45 a lot of experience for just a three year old.
02:48 He's been a show dog. He's been an agility
02:51 dog which is where they're trained to go over
02:53 obstacles at speed and with obedience and
02:57 he has also done lower coursing,
03:00 which means he has done racing, alright.
03:03 Now that's what these dogs were born and
03:05 breed for to be race dogs, and in fact,
03:08 they were originated in England back in the
03:11 mid 1800s and they were called The
03:14 Poor Man's Greyhound. And the name Whippet
03:19 came from an English word that referred to
03:21 going fast. And, even though you may think
03:27 that a dog that's breed to run is really going
03:30 to be a hyper dog to be around, he's
03:33 actually a Couch Potato. He will run like the
03:37 wind for 15 minutes and sleep for 3 hours.
03:41 And he is, as you can see he is very laid back,
03:45 he is not too worried about anything,
03:48 he's what's called a Sighthound
03:50 and a Sighthound, if you look at Nicky's face
03:52 you will see how big and round his eyes are,
03:55 that's because he wants to be that he's created
03:58 to see everything in a wide range around him
04:02 and that's how he hunts his prey,
04:04 because as a racing dog they have to have
04:07 something to chase and it's their natural
04:10 instinct to chase whatever moves.
04:13 And so these dogs would primarily be chasing
04:16 a rabbit or a hare and they would over run
04:21 it and catch it and bring it back to their master.
04:24 And which is part of why they called them
04:26 the poor man's greyhound,
04:27 because besides earning the Englishman a little
04:31 bit of money, they might also bring home supper.
04:35 He also has a mind of his own when he wants
04:37 to lay down he just lays down doesn't he.
04:38 Yes, he does, well they don't tolerate the
04:41 Sun very well. They have or at least the heat,
04:44 they have a very low amount of fat.
04:47 You'll practically never see a fat Whippet,
04:50 because they are mostly all muscle and they
04:53 simply aren't made to be fat, if you look at
04:56 Nicky he's very muscular and if you could
04:59 feel him right now he's just like glass,
05:02 he's just as smooth it could be, but if you felt
05:04 his muscles they're just hard.
05:07 In fact he runs so fast and that is so interesting
05:10 to him that one time he was out in the country
05:13 where we live and he was running after something
05:16 I don't even know what it was and he came
05:19 around a corner so fast that he hit the corner
05:21 of the house and did it so quickly that he
05:24 peeled the skin right off his shoulder and
05:27 he had to go and have stitches,
05:29 but it didn't slow him down because when
05:31 a Whippet is concentrating on
05:33 their prey nothing can distract them.
05:36 And unfortunately that is how many Whippets
05:39 are accidentally killed is because in our
05:42 civilized world with cars and roads if he would
05:46 see something across the road moving and
05:48 run across to it, oh no, a car would hit him,
05:51 right. And boys and girls you may notice that
05:53 his mouth is open he is panting.
05:56 Dogs don't sweat as far as we do.
05:59 They wallow up their tongues and their
06:00 tongue is wet, and they're breathing back
06:03 and forth cooling that. So that's the dog's way,
06:05 he is overheating slightly here in the Sun.
06:07 He is a little uncomfortable so his
06:09 tongue comes out and he begins to pant like,
06:11 that's his method of cooling and these also
06:14 have been. I have heard people call these
06:17 the cheetah of the dog world,
06:19 because these dogs as our friend has told us
06:21 can sight something and in three bounds
06:24 and less than four seconds can be running
06:26 at 35 miles an hour. And I'm telling you that
06:28 is really going and they are very big and
06:31 as you can see he is a very affectionate pet.
06:33 He is a well behaved dog. We've had him with
06:35 other dogs and cats as well,
06:37 they adjust well with other animals,
06:41 curious as most animals are, but it has just been
06:44 a thrill and thank you Leanne for bringing him.
06:46 He is a well behaved dog and we might say
06:49 he is a professional is he, been in the show ring,
06:51 yes he has, and his completing in all those
06:52 things. His momma and daddy are both champions
06:55 and racing champions too.
06:57 Well, thank you for bringing him today and
06:58 boys and girls we have enjoyed that so much and
07:01 as always boys and girls Ranger Jim here
07:03 saying don't forget to tell Jesus that you
07:05 love him, because he really does love you.
07:17 Bonjour! Welcome to Trace,
07:19 Abby and music and cooking time with Buddy.
07:23 We're combining two segments today.
07:25 Let's see Ranger Jim try that.
07:27 Today we have Bethany and Cynthia and
07:30 we are doing what? Making Blueberry Muffins.
07:33 How do you make blueberry muffins?
07:35 Well first of all you mix up the batter,
07:38 then you put the batter into the tin at 400
07:43 in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, and then,
07:47 voila. Le Muffin, boy they look good.
07:52 But you know what making muffins is a little
07:55 bit complicated, but nothing like making
07:57 this earth and God did that in six days
08:01 boys and girls. I'm so glad God made
08:04 the heaven and the earth.
08:10 God made the heavens and the earth,
08:12 God made the heavens and the earth,
08:14 God made the heavens and the earth,
08:16 and all that is within it.
08:19 On the first day God made night and day,
08:21 night and day, night and day,
08:23 and the first day God made night and day.
08:26 God made the heavens and the earth.
08:28 On the second day God made the sky,
08:30 made the sky, made the sky,
08:32 on the second day God made the sky,
08:34 God made the heavens and the earth.
08:37 God made the heavens and the earth,
08:39 God made the heavens and the earth,
08:41 God made the heavens and the earth
08:43 and all that is within it.
08:46 On the third day God made land and sea,
08:48 land and sea, land and sea,
08:50 on the third day God made land and sea,
08:52 God made the heavens and the earth.
08:54 On the forth day God made the Sun and moon,
08:56 the Sun and moon, the Sun and moon.
08:58 On the forth day God made the Sun and moon.
09:01 God made the heavens and the earth.
09:03 God made the heavens and the earth,
09:05 God made the heavens and the earth,
09:07 God made the heavens and the earth,
09:09 and all that is within it.
09:12 On the fifth day God made fish and birds,
09:14 fish and birds, fish and birds,
09:16 and the fifth day God made fish and birds,
09:18 God made the heavens and the earth.
09:20 On the sixth day God made man and beasts,
09:22 man and beasts, man and beasts,
09:24 on the sixth day God made man and beasts,
09:26 God made the heavens and the earth.
09:29 On the seventh day God rested, God rested,
09:31 God rested, on the seventh day
09:34 God rested from all the work he's done.
09:37 God made the heavens and the earth,
09:39 God made the heavens and the earth,
09:41 God made the heavens and the earth
09:43 and all that is within it.
09:49 Uncle Buddy, you want a muffin. Bon appetit!
12:30 Hmm! This is so good, this tastes like wafers
12:35 made with honey. It is delicious, wonderful,
12:39 all this is so amazing. Oh hi, come and join us,
12:44 we have lots of manna. Oh what is manna?
12:48 A special food from heaven. You see,
12:52 when we left Egypt and came out in this
12:53 wilderness, we didn't have anything to eat,
12:56 we were grumbling and complaining,
12:59 but Moses talked to God and He said that
13:02 every morning we would have manna,
13:06 manna like this isn't this amazing,
13:08 it would be right in front of our tents and
13:11 all around, but one thing He told us,
13:15 is that we had to pick it, we had to pick
13:19 it before the Sun came out and got hot or
13:21 it all melt. And there wouldn't be anymore
13:24 manna until the next day.
13:26 He also told us only to pick enough each day
13:31 that our family would eat. Some of my friends,
13:36 they did not believe what was told to them,
13:40 they said oh what does it matter, what,
13:43 you know we can pick enough for two days well
13:45 they like to sleep in, and so they did,
13:48 they picked up enough for two days,
13:50 but the next morning they all got to a
13:54 horrible smell. The manna stunk,
13:59 but to make it worse it was full of worms.
14:03 I think it's best to obey God.
14:06 So, I just pick up just enough for what
14:09 I need that day. Well there is something else
14:13 that's special about this manna,
14:17 on the Sabbath day, the Sabbath day which
14:22 is so special there is no manna at all.
14:29 On Friday, God told Moses to have us pick up
14:33 twice as much and that it wouldn't spoil and
14:38 there wouldn't be any worms.
14:40 So, we did, we picked up twice as much on Friday
14:44 and on Sabbath it was delicious,
14:48 I felt like the manna tasted even better then
14:52 it had during the week. You know,
14:55 I think that's because God's just placed an extra
14:58 special blessing on the Sabbath.
15:02 Oh! I love Sabbaths, what do we do on Sabbath.
15:08 Oh! When we wake up, we have our manna
15:13 and then after we've gotten all cleaned up
15:15 we go to the tabernacle, and worship God.
15:18 I love doing that, it's so special.
15:22 Then afterwards we take some of the manna
15:24 and we go kind of out on little outing and
15:27 even here in the desert, it's amazing how many
15:31 beautiful things the Lord has made.
15:34 I just love some of the desert flowers and
15:37 even some of the creatures that God
15:39 has made, it's always fun to watch and afterwards
15:42 we kind of all sit around and we talk about,
15:46 oh how much God loves us and we tell stories,
15:52 stories about Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
15:58 and you know then we start to wonder,
16:00 I wonder what the first Sabbath was like with
16:03 Adam and Eve. And we think about how much
16:05 fun Adam must have had naming all those animals.
16:09 How much fun it must have been just to
16:11 talk to God face to face? Now,
16:16 we can't talk to him face to face because of sin,
16:20 but we look forward to the day when some day
16:23 we will be able to talk to Him face to face.
16:26 Well, after that, we sing songs and then the
16:32 Sun starts going down, because God said that
16:36 the Sabbath started from Sun down on Friday
16:40 till Sun down on Sabbath. He even gave us
16:43 a special commandment to help us to remember it.
16:46 Let me see, I'm trying to make sure
16:49 it's fixed in my mind remember that's it,
16:54 remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy,
16:58 six days we should labor and so all our work,
17:04 sons and our daughters and our man servants
17:08 and our maidservant and our cattle and the
17:11 stranger that is within our gates,
17:15 because the Lord made the heaven and the
17:17 earth and the sea, but He said that on the
17:21 seventh day we were not to do any work,
17:25 because the Lord had held that day and
17:30 made it special. Well, after we've repeated the
17:36 Ten Commandment that was given to us,
17:39 I think Moses said it was the forth one,
17:42 then we just have a special song of praise
17:45 thanking God for the wonderful day
17:47 he's given us with Him and our family and
17:50 our friends, and then we kneel in a circle,
17:54 we all hold hands and we just thank God
17:58 for His love for us and for caring for us
18:00 in the wilderness and for taking care of us.
18:04 Oh how I love Sabbath, you know how
18:06 I love our God. He is such an awesome God.
18:12 Well, I better get busy, the Sun is getting hot,
18:19 we better hurry before all our
18:21 manna melts, you better hurry too.
18:35 Master spoke, the world and space every
18:39 planet took its place. Earth was void and still
18:44 seemed incomplete. He blew the darkness
18:50 all away, He made the light and called it day,
18:55 at His command creation came to be.
19:02 The earth was a great big puzzle with the
19:08 rainbow colors all around. But it bothered God
19:16 a little, but parts were missing in the middle.
19:20 So he made the missing pieces from the ground.
19:26 And I was the missing piece, the puzzle.
19:31 It pleased him so he breathed his breath in me.
19:36 Created by his hand to save the master plan.
19:41 I was a piece that made it all complete.
19:46 And I was a missing piece, the puzzle.
19:50 It pleased him so he breathed his breath in me.
19:56 Created by his hand to save the master plan.
20:00 I was a piece that made it all completed.
20:07 The missing piece that made it all complete.
20:25 Thank you Natalie for that beautiful song.
20:27 Boys and girls, I'm sitting here and I've been
20:29 reading your mail and your email.
20:31 I love hearing from you, I want to share this
20:33 letter with you, it's from the Philippians and
20:35 it's from Laura. She says, Dear Miss Brenda,
20:38 I am four years old and I share Jesus by
20:41 telling my friends that I don't watch
20:43 TV on Sabbath. I enjoy watching Kids Time
20:47 with my sister Hope, since my mom is helping me
20:49 write this letter, love Laura.
20:52 And then Laura sent us a, emailed her picture,
20:55 isn't that a nice picture email,
20:57 it went through okay. Thank you so much Laura
21:01 and I want you to keep on sharing Jesus okay.
21:04 Now, also I want to share someone with
21:06 you today, I have my friend Katie with me,
21:08 hi Katie. Hi. And I want to thank you for
21:11 being with us on Kids Time.
21:13 Can you tell me what did you do to share Jesus?
21:16 Well, we went to the nursing home and
21:21 we brought some toys like Legos and Duplos
21:26 and some play dough and dollies and stuff.
21:32 And then what did you do with all those toys?
21:34 Well, we set them on tables and we played
21:37 with the people. And did they like playing with you?
21:41 Yeah, they did. Now you told me a funny story
21:44 about you made some spaghetti or something
21:47 with one lady what happened?
21:49 Yes, well, a lady, a lady shaped some spaghetti
21:58 and she thought, she made it out of play
22:00 dough right? Yeah, yeah and she thought,
22:06 hmm that looks like real spaghetti because
22:08 my aunt had said look you made spaghetti
22:14 and she said and she probably thought wow,
22:18 I made spaghetti, I think I'll try my spaghetti.
22:23 And did she really taste it? Yeah,
22:25 oh I don't think that tasted good, do you?
22:27 No. But you know I think that they really,
22:30 when you go and you give-up yourself
22:33 you spend your time and it really does show
22:35 Jesus that you love him and it shares
22:37 him with others doesn't it.
22:39 Well, I'd like to share some letters with you
22:40 boys and girls, I have a letter here from Liberty,
22:44 Kentucky, and it says dear Miss Brenda,

23:51 One way we share Jesus is by visiting a
23:53 handicap boy and we sing to him.
23:55 Once we brought him a balloon and it made him
23:57 very happy, we were amazed at how
23:59 something so simple could make someone
24:01 so happy. Thank you so much for Kids Time,
24:04 love Danny. Thank you Danny
24:06 for your letter and for also sharing how
24:09 you share Jesus. And it is true boys and girls,
24:12 even when something might be simple to us,

24:17 and it does show Jesus is in our hearts.

25:46 Thank you so much Tabitha for that picture
25:49 and also for telling how you share Jesus
25:52 you know when you're singing about Jesus
25:53 that is another way to witness isn't it?
25:56 Because, there's a message inside.
26:00 And one more letter here, this is from Tanzania,
26:04 dear Miss Brenda, how are you? I hope you're fine,
26:07 the aim of this letter is to tell you how
