00:03 It's time to share there is a world out
00:06 there looking for a friend like Jesus,
00:10 it's time to share there is a world out there.
00:13 Let's tell them that He loves us so.
00:16 Let's tell them that He loves us so.
00:20 Kids time, Kids time, Kids time.
00:24 Hi boys and girl. I see you looking at
00:27 this bag and you probably wondering what
00:30 is in their? Well it's not someone's birthday,
00:35 it I just wanted you to start thinking about
00:37 gifts and presents and how happy they
00:40 make us. Did anyone ever give you a present
00:43 that you love more than anything else in
00:44 the world? Maybe it was a dog or a cat or
00:48 maybe even a parakeet. Perhaps it was
00:51 absolutely gorgeous dress or maybe it was
00:55 a cool side of football or baseball cards.
00:58 Whatever it was you know that you thought
01:01 you were just the luckiest boy or girl in
01:03 the whole world when you received it didn't
01:05 you? In today story you are going to hear
01:08 about a special young woman hardly more than
01:11 a girl who is given us very, very special gift.
01:15 And she loved this gift more than anything you
01:18 could ever imagine. And you never guess
01:20 what this gift was? It was something you couldn't
01:24 buy in a store and it wouldn't fit in a
01:26 beautiful bag like this. And this gift doesn't
01:30 grow in gardens, this gift was one that only
01:33 God could create, this marvelous present was,
01:37 have you guessed it yet? It was a baby,
01:41 a most special baby boy. And how this young
01:45 woman loved her son. You know, I bet she
01:49 loved to feel his warm chubby arms around
01:52 her neck and his childish voice when he began
01:57 forming his words and sentences.
01:59 And as he grew older, I'm sure she would
02:03 often marvel at his goodness. For he never
02:07 spoke an unkind word, not ever.
02:09 He never acted in a thoughtless way to hurt
02:12 to anyone else. But, this wonderful gift
02:17 the special child was not just for her.
02:21 Her baby boy was met to be shared.
02:25 Have you guessed who I'm talking about?
02:27 Yes, the name of the baby boy was Jesus
02:31 and the girl who received the present was
02:34 Mary his mother. And now he belongs to
02:37 everyone. He belongs to your parents and your
02:40 cousins and your classmates. He even
02:43 belongs to me, and don't forget boys and
02:46 girls he belongs to you too. Alright now
02:51 Ranger Jim is going to show us a wonderful
02:53 gift that Jesus gave all of us the
02:56 beautiful and graceful Swan.
03:06 Hi boys and girls Ranger Jim saying
03:08 welcome to Nature Time. We are glad you
03:09 can join us today, we are taping some
03:12 beautiful swans that you see in the background
03:14 here they are mute swans. And as the name
03:16 implies they are mute, they do not call
03:19 back and forth. Do make some sounds
03:21 when they are feeding like we are hearing
03:23 in the background here, I can here them
03:24 making sort of a garbling sound.
03:26 They talk amongst themselves, but not like
03:28 the trumpeter swans and other swans.
03:30 The trumpeter swans especially when they
03:32 are migrating them up in the air flying at
03:35 2500 feet sometimes you may here them
03:37 for three quarters of a mile. And when
03:39 they fly migrating the mute and trumpeters
03:42 another swan of this characteristic of them
03:43 when they are flying there necks are
03:45 straight out in front of them,
03:46 and their feet are carried behind them.
03:48 And they are beautiful site to be hold
03:50 against the blue sky. The mute swans even
03:53 though they are beautiful to have around,
03:56 they are not compatible to with other ducks
04:00 and geese of that kind because of their
04:01 aggressiveness and the defending of their
04:04 territory. When the old cob and the pen
04:08 builds the nest there, male was called the
04:09 cob and the female was called the pen.
04:12 Well they select the nest site,
04:14 they will defend that. The old cob spends
04:16 his entire day flying back and forth defending
04:19 it. He will even attack a sparrow if it comes
04:21 near. And so that means they have
04:24 become a problem in parks and the lakes
04:26 around the part of the country and they do
04:29 not allow other ducks to come their and so
04:31 because of that they are causing a problem.
04:34 Now on this lake we have ducks as you can
04:37 see in the background perhaps and we
04:38 have some Canadian geese is flying by here
04:42 in the background, but if these pair were
04:45 on a nest that would not be true.
04:48 Now unfortunately the mute swan they
04:53 made for life if that usually after the fourth
04:55 year. And if they mate they will mate for life.
04:58 They are true to that if one of the swans die
05:01 or killed by accident they will sometimes
05:03 choose another mate. But, they are beautiful
05:06 site to see swimming across the lake.
05:08 And so swans like geese you can tell old
05:11 geese from young geese because young
05:14 geese when they have a family they go
05:16 swimming across the lake. There will be the
05:18 pen out in front and he will come to signal
05:20 swimming along the little feet going in the
05:22 water and the old cob swimming in the back
05:25 and they are calling look at our beautiful
05:27 family they are so proud going along,
05:29 swimming along like that, but there are
05:31 dangerous down below. Snapping turtles
05:34 live in ponds and they love baby swans.
05:38 And so young swans will swim across the
05:41 lake like that but not mature ones they
05:43 soon learn that they lose their babies.
05:46 And so, why swans you will see them
05:50 swimming across the lake that old daddy is
05:53 forking around watching and in a pond like this
05:56 they have fish and catfish and things of that
05:58 nature, that old cob would be going crazy,
06:01 he would swing over attacking every fish that
06:03 he sees for fear of loosing. So, the mute
06:08 swan is a protector of his own home perhaps
06:13 more then any of the fallow that we have.
06:15 And sometimes they attain a weight of 25-30
06:18 pounds and so if we have that we know
06:20 they can speed up to 45 miles an hour,
06:24 and so if the old cob come swimming across
06:26 the lake at you, you don't want to be in his
06:29 pathway. And so these creatures are able to
06:32 feel the bottom without tipping up as some
06:34 ducks do. They have more vertebrae in their
06:36 neck then any of the fallow most any of the
06:40 mammals for that matter they have 28
06:42 vertebrae that allows them to stick their
06:44 head into the water nd then bend their
06:45 necks and feet along the bottom.
06:48 And that's very, very unusual to give you
06:50 some idea of that. Most the mammals
06:53 wouldn't even have more than eight vertebrae
06:55 in their neck. So, the swan, this mute swan
06:58 is a very unusual creature. Fortunately that
07:01 most of their babies do survive. I would say
07:04 that maybe 85% on the average of the
07:07 swans survive because they are very hardy
07:10 bird and their parents are so protective of
07:14 them. The greatest enemy that they have is
07:16 from under the water that is snapping turtles.
07:19 And so from the attack from the air you
07:23 don't want to encounter an angry old cob
07:27 when it comes to defending his children
07:29 so we. I have learned about these creatures
07:32 today and as you see one in your park you
07:35 go up and admire, but be very careful.
07:37 But, don't go off to pet it because they can
07:40 be dangerous if you go to some ones home
07:41 like we are visiting today they tell us that
07:44 these swans are friendly they will come up,
07:47 they can feed them, they will come out even
07:49 on the shore if we would like, we didn't do
07:51 that because it can be dangerous with young
07:53 swans to feed young swans to come out
07:55 on the ground because they are very heavy
07:57 birds and it can cause deformities in their legs
08:00 trying to support that weight.
08:02 So, it is necessary that they spend most of
08:04 their time on the water and so I hope that
08:06 you have enjoyed today learning about the
08:09 mute swan and we have enjoyed so much to
08:11 be here learn about it. So as always boys
08:14 and girls Ranger Jim saying don't forget to
08:16 tell Jesus that you love him
08:18 because he really does love you.
08:32 Hello there boys and girls,
08:34 hi boys and girls, hi boys and girls.
08:36 Brittany what are you and
08:39 Andrew doing with this?
08:41 We are gonna plant it so we
08:42 can have fruit and eat it.
08:45 So, okay now we are leaving for Michigan
08:48 pretty soon do you know that it takes
08:49 years to get fruit from a fruit tree?
08:52 Yeah, but we have faith.
08:55 And so you gonna have some tonight?
08:58 Yeah. Okay go plant your tree.
09:02 I don't wanna squish their faith it takes years
09:04 to get a fruit tree. But, there is a kind
09:06 of fruit that you can have right away
09:08 and that's the fruit of the
09:09 spirit, love, joy and peace.
09:16 I belong to Jesus I'm the child of the king
09:19 the spirit came and gave me a new song to sing
09:23 and title I say is it I will set free
09:26 Galatians 5:22 to 23
09:29 But the fruit of the Spirit is
09:31 love, joy, peace,
09:33 patience and kindness and goodness,
09:36 faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
09:42 You know, you know, you know, you know.
09:45 I was born again a little while ag o
09:49 do you see a difference tell me does it show
09:53 I looked in a Bible and what did I see
09:57 Galatians 5:22 to 23
10:00 But the fruit of the Spirit is
10:02 love, joy, peace,
10:04 patience and kindness and goodness,
10:07 faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
10:16 I can ever live without the one I love.
10:19 The Father send his only
10:21 Son from heaven above,
10:22 and now the Holy Spirit is changing me.
10:26 Galatians 5:22 to 23
10:29 But the fruit of the Spirit is
10:31 love, joy, peace,
10:33 patience and kindness and goodness,
10:36 faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
10:45 See Uncle Buddy we had faith.
13:01 Welcome children I'm so glad that you
13:04 have stop by for a visit with me today.
13:07 My name is Mary, the mother of Jesus.
13:11 And so much is happened since he has
13:13 returned to heaven up in the clouds and
13:17 I was just sitting here thinking about him.
13:21 How he was a child just like you. In fact
13:25 I remember him as a tiny baby in my arms.
13:29 And how soft and sweet he was.
13:32 I loved him, he was a real little baby just
13:36 like you were. And he needed a mom to
13:39 take care of him. And God gave him a mother,
13:42 he gave him me. And I watched him grow he
13:46 love to play with the other children.
13:49 He was always happy, he loved the little
13:52 birds and he laugh at the squirrels.
13:54 And he love chasing the little cats and
13:57 the dogs. I always thought that my son
14:01 was special because the angel had told
14:04 me so. But, in so many ways he look so
14:07 real just like you and me. He was just
14:10 a boy like the other boys. It wasn't until
14:15 he started growing a little older that I
14:17 began to see big differences in him.
14:20 I remember one time when he was
14:22 12 years old and we were at the temple
14:25 in Jerusalem. And as we left we were
14:28 certain that he was among the group
14:30 that was with us. But, it wasn't long
14:33 before we discovered Jesus wasn't around.
14:36 And Joseph and I hurried back to Jerusalem
14:39 looking for him. You can imagine how
14:41 anxious we were. And when we found him
14:45 I said Jesus where were you.
14:47 We were looking all over for you.
14:51 And he said mother, don't you know
14:54 that I must be about my fathers business.
14:58 I was reminded again that the angel had
15:01 told me this was the son of God.
15:04 The promise Messiah he had a work to do.
15:08 He grew just like a normal boy did,
15:11 tall and handsome. And he was strong,
15:15 I remember how he helped his father in
15:17 the carpentry shop. And how the people
15:19 would stop by and he would always have an
15:21 encouraging word. I used to love to hear
15:25 him sing too as he worked. He seem to
15:27 have a joy in his heart that only God could
15:30 put their. He was kind to all people,
15:35 he love those that were the least.
15:38 In fact one time, when others came and
15:41 said your mother and brothers are looking
15:43 for you. He said my mother and brothers
15:47 are these, all these who do the will of my
15:50 father who sent me. All of these things
15:53 children were reminder to me.
15:57 That he was my Savior too. He was Jesus,
16:01 who had come to save our world.
16:03 I remember as I saw him taken way prisoner
16:07 by the soldiers and the disciples all
16:09 abandoned him. And he hung on that
16:12 cross so alone, and yet he remembered
16:14 me and he said John here is your mother
16:18 and mother here is your son, he took care
16:21 of me to the end, but he reminded me
16:25 that he was my Savior. I know that the
16:29 most important thing that you and I must
16:31 realize is that we each have a part to
16:34 spread the good news about God's love
16:36 to the world just as I being Jesus mother
16:39 had a part. But, we all need to remember
16:42 that we are his children that he died
16:44 for each one of us. And now children I
16:47 look forward to seeing Jesus face to face.
16:50 Not only remembering that I was his mother,
16:53 but more importantly that he is my Savior.
16:57 Remember that lesson, Jesus came to
16:59 save us all, he loves you and me most of all.
17:27 O how He loves you and me
17:34 O how He loves you and me
17:40 He gave His life, what more could He give?
17:48 O how He loves you O how He loves me
17:55 O how He loves you and me
18:04 O how He loves you and me
18:10 O how He loves you and me
18:17 He gave His life, what more could He give?
18:24 O how He loves you O how He loves me
18:32 O how He loves you and me
18:50 Oh thank you Yasmine for that beautiful
18:52 song, I just love hearing you praise Jesus.
18:56 Well boys and girls I want to take
18:57 you right now to Russia. I was recently
19:00 over their visiting and I had the
19:01 opportunity to actually go to this little
19:05 girl's house, she invited me into her
19:07 bedroom and she sat there and told me
19:09 about how she share Jesus.
19:11 I would like to tell you,
19:12 let's see what Julia has to say?
19:15 Hi boys and girls I'm so excited today
19:17 because I'm sitting here with two of
19:19 my friends Julia and another Julia.
19:22 And I'm so excited we are here in this
19:24 Julia's bedroom. And we are in Russia.
19:27 Now I can't pronounce the name where
19:29 we are Julia. So, won't you tell
19:31 boys and girls where are we in Russia?
19:33 Nizhny Novgorod. Now could you
19:36 pronounce it and say one more time,
19:38 Nizhny Novgorod. There you go, that's a
19:40 hard thing to say isn't it? But, I'm really
19:42 excited to be here. And Julia loves Jesus.
19:46 And she speaks little bit of English
19:49 she tells me not very much, how much?
19:53 [foreign language]
19:54 Little bit, she says not much.
19:56 So Julia, this Julia is going to interpret
19:59 for us okay. So, I know that you love
20:02 Jesus, yes, yes she do.
20:05 So, tell me what you do to share Jesus?
20:09 [foreign language]
20:10 I study in a government school.
20:13 [foreign language]
20:16 And we are all supposed to
20:18 go to school on Sabbath.
20:21 [foreign language]
20:24 But, I don't want to go to school on Sabbath.
20:26 [foreign language]
20:29 And was spoke to my parents and
20:30 I spoke to the principal of the school.
20:33 [foreign language]
20:37 And we said that I don't want
20:39 to go to school on Sabbath.
20:41 [foreign language]
20:45 And the principal said if you don't want
20:47 to go to school on Sabbath. You are
20:48 supposed to be a very, very good
20:50 student all the rest of the days of the week.
20:52 [foreign language]
20:57 And I tried to be the best student in
20:59 class and been example to other students.
21:03 That's a wonderful way to share
21:04 Jesus. Now what are your
21:07 classmates think about this?
21:08 [foreign language]
21:14 They are very much interested
21:15 to learn about God.
21:17 [foreign language]
21:18 Any of your classmates come to church with you?
21:21 [foreign language]
21:24 Yes my friends, my friends go to church with me.
21:28 Praise Lord, that's a wonderful way
21:30 to share Jesus isn't it? And you know
21:32 boys and girls, when you go to school
21:35 maybe the classmates you have that they
21:37 don't know the Sabbath is a Sabbath.
21:39 And the Saturday is the Sabbath.
21:41 So, you can witness to them too okay.
21:45 Thank you Julia for that wonderful testimony.
21:48 You know, boys and girls it is always
21:50 easy for everybody around the world
21:51 to worship Jesus is it? Well I like you
21:54 to meet a special friend of mine.
21:56 I would like you to meet Traci.
21:58 Hi Traci, hi. Thank for joining me on
21:59 sharing time. And I want you to tell
22:02 me you have done a lot to witness in your
22:05 neighborhood and in our town.
22:07 What does you do to share Jesus?
22:09 I go to the shepherd's
22:10 table it's like a soup kitchen.
22:12 Now what do you do there?
22:13 Well when we first get there,
22:14 we all wash our hands and then,
22:17 that's important thing to do isn't it?
22:19 We set all the tables and we help
22:21 to make all the food and we help them
22:23 organize their food covers and we shuck
22:25 lots of corn and peel lots potatoes.
22:29 That's awesome, and then when about
22:31 200 people get there we all hold hands
22:34 and a lady thanks God for the food and
22:37 she also thanks God that the kids are
22:39 willing to help. That's good and because
22:42 you know without the children willing to
22:44 help they probably little harder on them
22:46 wouldn't it? And then so what else do
22:49 you do? And then we serve the people
22:50 their food and when we are done
22:52 through them, then we go over in a
22:53 corner and we sing them songs,
22:55 it's really fun. Oh now have you had any
22:58 special experiences? Well the people
23:02 come up to me and ask me if, like what
23:05 church I'm from and why I'm their helping.
23:07 And I tell them that I'm from the
23:08 Seventh-Day Adventist Church and I'm
23:10 helping because that's what Jesus would
23:11 do and I like to help. Oh that's wonderful
23:15 and so you get really good blessing don't
23:17 you? Isn't that wonderful boys and girls?
23:20 Well I think that's awesome,
23:22 now do you want to keep on that work
23:25 there and even then you shucking all
23:26 that corn, yes. It's worth it isn't it?
23:30 Awesome. Well I like to read some letters
23:32 right now, boys and girls I have a
23:34 letter here from Hammett, California
23:37 and it's from Mason and it says dear
23:41 Miss Brenda I just saw your show for the
23:43 very first time and I loved it.
23:46 I like cooking time the best.
23:48 The recipe sound so good I can't wait
23:50 to watch again from Mason. Well thank you
23:53 Mason I want you to keep on watching okay.
23:55 And then you will get to know a lot more
23:58 about Jesus and also then you can start
24:00 sharing with others. I have another letter,
24:04 oh I've got a picture here Traci,
24:05 can you hold this picture up for me?
24:09 Actually, I got two pictures in here.
24:11 Let's hold this one up here we go.
24:14 And this letter says, let's see where is
24:17 it from? Oh it's from South Africa.
24:21 It says dear Miss Brenda I share Jesus by
24:23 washing dishes and I help the poor people
24:25 by giving them food and I have a bookmark

24:32 Nicole and I'm five years old.
24:34 Well thank you Nicole and look she drew
24:36 a little face and some bunny rabbit down
24:39 here. And she made me a bookmark,
24:42 oops I almost dropped sorry about that.
24:44 And it's says a bookmark about love,
24:47 well isn't that sweet well thank you very
24:49 much Nicole I love that. I have been
24:54 wondering I got a package and I want to
24:55 find what's in this big envelope don't you?
24:58 Let's see it's from, it's from Wales in the
25:02 United Kingdom. So, let's see what's oh

25:36 Larissa for that beautiful card,
25:38 I love to hearing from you. And you know
