It's time to share
there's a world out there,
00:00:03.63\00:00:06.94
Looking for a friend
like Jesus. It's time to share
00:00:07.23\00:00:11.98
there's a world out
there; let's tell them
00:00:12.12\00:00:14.49
that He loves us so.
Let's tell them that He
00:00:14.75\00:00:18.33
loves us so. Kids
Time, Kids Time, Kids Time.
00:00:18.50\00:00:25.33
Hi, boys and girls. I'd
like you to listen to this
00:00:25.36\00:00:27.41
sound. Isn't it beautiful?
But maybe a little eery,
00:00:27.66\00:00:40.45
all at the same
kind wouldn't you agree?
00:00:40.59\00:00:42.48
How would you like to be
snuggled up in a sleeping
00:00:43.42\00:00:45.83
bag around the camp?
Snowflakes are falling and
00:00:45.99\00:00:50.69
winds blowing, and
certainly you hear this sound.
00:00:50.72\00:00:54.31
That would tell you
that a wolf, or a wolf pack
00:00:56.23\00:00:58.74
somewhere out there in
the darkness was howling at
00:00:58.99\00:01:01.33
the stars. You know, a
wolf looks lot like a big dog
00:01:01.36\00:01:06.23
and they do belong
to the same family,
00:01:06.56\00:01:08.65
but wolves they're
wild animals and they form
00:01:08.90\00:01:11.36
families and run in
packs, protecting each other and
00:01:11.49\00:01:14.07
hunting together. Do
you know, mother and father
00:01:14.16\00:01:16.93
wolf make excellent
parents and they take good care
00:01:17.03\00:01:19.59
of their furry babies.
Yet people have many different
00:01:19.62\00:01:23.13
feelings about wolves.
Some people are very afraid of
00:01:23.23\00:01:27.03
wolves thinking that
they are savage killers.
00:01:27.20\00:01:29.26
And some people love
them so much that they form
00:01:29.93\00:01:32.51
save the wolf clubs and
they try to pass laws to
00:01:32.60\00:01:35.23
protect the wolves,
others say that to them the wolf
00:01:35.41\00:01:39.30
represents more than
anything else all the beauty
00:01:39.47\00:01:42.16
and wonder of nature.
You know, other feel that
00:01:42.19\00:01:45.55
the wolf is a thief and
now he is going steal the
00:01:45.62\00:01:48.12
farmer's cattle, every
chance he has, but you know,
00:01:48.38\00:01:51.93
with all these different
ideas it's no wonder people
00:01:51.96\00:01:54.75
are confused about
wolves. I've noticed that you
00:01:54.78\00:01:58.27
know, people can be
confused about many other things
00:01:58.30\00:02:01.10
as well. Suppose that you
hear stories about a friend.
00:02:01.39\00:02:05.53
Now, maybe some of
the stories are good and
00:02:06.16\00:02:08.27
some are bad. Or you
might hear different ideas about
00:02:08.32\00:02:11.61
what is healthful and
what is not? And you can hear
00:02:11.66\00:02:15.41
different stories even
about God. How do you decide
00:02:15.85\00:02:19.40
what to believe? It's
not always easy, is it?
00:02:19.56\00:02:22.83
But the first thing to
remember is not to believe
00:02:23.01\00:02:25.43
everything you hear and
never repeat a story that
00:02:25.57\00:02:28.65
may not be true. You
have to check things out for
00:02:28.79\00:02:32.33
yourself? Find out what
is true about your friend by
00:02:32.36\00:02:35.83
getting to know him or
her. And do some waiting
00:02:35.90\00:02:38.50
and talk to
knowledgeable people who have
00:02:38.57\00:02:40.23
studied health, like
nutritionists to find out what
00:02:40.36\00:02:42.68
is healthful and what is
not? And as for God the Bible
00:02:42.71\00:02:46.98
is his book and reading
it would tell you what he's
00:02:47.14\00:02:50.07
really like, you can also
talk with him in prayer and
00:02:50.24\00:02:53.39
as you do, you're
going to get to know him much
00:02:53.54\00:02:56.59
better. Well, right now
Ranger Jim is going to show us
00:02:56.65\00:03:00.08
a wolf and do you
know what boys and girls?
00:03:00.16\00:03:01.83
He is standing right
next to the wolf and there
00:03:02.28\00:03:05.03
is no fence in
between him watch and see.
00:03:05.06\00:03:07.83
Hi, boys and
girls. Ranger Jim saying,
00:03:15.63\00:03:17.06
welcome to Nature Time,
we're glad you can be with
00:03:17.15\00:03:18.97
us today, we're at the
St. Augustine Wild Reserve
00:03:19.05\00:03:21.74
and we have our
friend Debra with us and we
00:03:21.78\00:03:23.38
have something very special
for you. Debra what is this?
00:03:23.44\00:03:26.31
This is an arctic
wolf; his name is Mekiska,
00:03:27.05\00:03:30.20
and I'm trying get him
to look at the camera for
00:03:30.71\00:03:32.19
you. And he is actually
from the high arctic from
00:03:32.32\00:03:35.60
an island called Ellesmere
Island, and this is the
00:03:35.63\00:03:38.64
largest subspecies of
wolf. There are actually 32
00:03:38.75\00:03:42.13
subspecies of wolf, and
the arctic is the largest and
00:03:42.26\00:03:45.33
he weighs about 130
pounds right now. And he's an
00:03:45.36\00:03:49.09
old boy, he's about 13,
and in the wild they wouldn't
00:03:49.12\00:03:53.63
even live this long. They
would only live to about 12
00:03:53.74\00:03:56.48
years old, so he's a
very lucky wolf and we hope
00:03:56.67\00:03:58.80
that he lives
another ten years the great,
00:03:58.83\00:04:01.98
hunting boy, He's
gonna calm down. He's just
00:04:02.25\00:04:03.97
beautiful, isn't he? He
is just beautiful and of
00:04:04.03\00:04:06.11
course these are
carnivores? Oh! Yes,
00:04:06.14\00:04:08.71
this is a strict carnivore,
and they'll eat caribou,
00:04:08.86\00:04:12.03
deer, but they have a
very wide diet, they love,
00:04:12.09\00:04:15.79
no don't you? Don't go
over here. They will actually
00:04:16.31\00:04:19.04
eat mice; they will eat
anything from mice to moose.
00:04:19.24\00:04:21.98
So, they've got quite a,
quite a wide menu choice.
00:04:22.46\00:04:25.77
Well, tell us a
something about the howl,
00:04:26.16\00:04:27.47
everyone likes to
hear the howl of the wolf,
00:04:27.60\00:04:29.35
tell me something about
that. Oh! Yeah, they howl
00:04:29.44\00:04:31.28
for a lot of different
reasons, they do not howl
00:04:31.43\00:04:33.57
at the moon, as you've
all heard that, that's just,
00:04:33.65\00:04:36.37
that's just a tale, and
they'll howl to communicate
00:04:36.58\00:04:39.52
with each other, when
they're ready to go off on
00:04:39.55\00:04:41.54
the hunt, the wolves
will start howling to gather
00:04:41.57\00:04:43.86
up the pack and that's
when they'll take off and
00:04:43.89\00:04:46.11
go hunting. And if
they get separated from each
00:04:46.14\00:04:48.96
other they'll howl and
that will bring the pack back
00:04:48.99\00:04:51.86
together again. And,
sometimes, they'll howl just
00:04:51.91\00:04:54.50
for fun, they'll just
lay around and, and start
00:04:54.65\00:04:56.51
howling for no reason at
all. Very special music is
00:04:56.70\00:04:59.19
it our ears to hear
that song. Oh! Yeah.
00:04:59.22\00:05:00.36
My wife and I was in
Alaska, where we had that
00:05:00.92\00:05:02.92
opportunity of hearing
them howling in the wild
00:05:05.39\00:05:06.36
and at first it makes you
shiver a bit, but then it is
00:05:06.37\00:05:07.41
beautiful music. Tell
us something about how many
00:05:07.70\00:05:10.11
cubs would they
normally have? In the wild,
00:05:10.30\00:05:12.45
they would only have
about 4 to 6 babies and
00:05:12.48\00:05:15.97
they'll stay with the
parents. Well, actually,
00:05:16.16\00:05:18.61
until they're six months
old is when they'll start
00:05:18.76\00:05:21.13
hunting with the pack, they
reach adult size at 6 months
00:05:21.16\00:05:24.87
of age, and they'll be
off hunting with the pack
00:05:24.97\00:05:27.10
and they will stay with
the pack. So, a pack usually
00:05:27.13\00:05:29.94
consists of uncles and
aunts, there's an alpha pair,
00:05:30.30\00:05:32.77
and they're generally
all related, so they don't,
00:05:33.31\00:05:35.54
they don't usually go
off and start their own pack
00:05:35.92\00:05:37.70
unless they just have
a disagreement with alpha
00:05:37.91\00:05:40.32
male or a female. As
you can see boys and girls,
00:05:40.38\00:05:43.67
this is a big powerful
animal. Debra is trying to
00:05:43.70\00:05:46.43
hang on to him and
he, she knows him and she
00:05:46.52\00:05:49.76
has cautioned me not
to help her or assist her
00:05:49.79\00:05:52.05
because he doesn't
know me, so I'm keeping my
00:05:52.16\00:05:54.04
hand in my pocket
because it's natural for me to
00:05:54.13\00:05:55.99
reach out and pet him,
and if you pet this fellow you
00:05:56.14\00:05:58.18
may comeback with
some problems, okay.
00:05:58.46\00:06:00.26
Yes. And so we have
boys and girls, we have many
00:06:00.71\00:06:02.40
wolves in US, and
many people are fearful.
00:06:02.56\00:06:04.60
Wolves have gotten a
bad name because you hear
00:06:05.02\00:06:07.00
all kind of stories about
wolves hunting people down
00:06:07.08\00:06:09.28
and killing them. This
maybe true in India and some
00:06:09.37\00:06:11.92
parts of the world, but
here in the US it's not true.
00:06:12.08\00:06:15.02
There has never been
an authenticated case of
00:06:15.41\00:06:17.88
a healthy wolf attacking
and killing anyone in the US.
00:06:17.91\00:06:21.22
Now, we do have problems
sometimes with livestock,
00:06:21.65\00:06:24.23
like in the state of
Minnesota. Minnesota has many,
00:06:24.64\00:06:26.80
many wolves and they
have nuisance wolves,
00:06:26.96\00:06:29.54
that is wolves that
come around homes, comes
00:06:29.92\00:06:31.70
around ranches and
things of that nature,
00:06:31.84\00:06:33.63
and they soon learn
that cows are not hard to
00:06:34.01\00:06:37.03
catch and they soon
learn that horses, the wolf,
00:06:37.08\00:06:40.00
those in Minnesota, the
favorite of theirs are burrows
00:06:40.36\00:06:42.83
and horses. And so
the State has to reimburse
00:06:42.89\00:06:45.41
people that for the
livestock that the wolf kills.
00:06:45.49\00:06:48.85
In fact, unfortunately in
the last three years there
00:06:49.08\00:06:52.20
have been at least 300
wolves a year that have to be
00:06:52.23\00:06:54.42
destroyed in Minnesota
because of that. The trappers
00:06:54.54\00:06:57.22
have to come in
because the wolf learns that
00:06:57.25\00:06:59.59
there is easy food
there, and so they have to come
00:06:59.65\00:07:02.31
in and trap them, if
they can't release them,
00:07:02.52\00:07:04.01
then they have to be
destroyed. Also these beautiful
00:07:04.39\00:07:07.21
creatures have
been reintroduced into
00:07:07.33\00:07:09.33
Yellowstone National
Park. And we have film of
00:07:09.73\00:07:12.66
those, and in many
cases the largest pack that
00:07:12.70\00:07:15.25
we know of, of 36 wolves
in one pack. Now that would
00:07:15.28\00:07:19.24
be a beautiful site to
see. And so they have been
00:07:19.27\00:07:21.69
successfully reintroduced
there and, there are
00:07:21.72\00:07:24.84
some problems because
ranchers and farmers nearby
00:07:24.87\00:07:27.42
lose cattle, undisputably
these creatures do kill
00:07:27.77\00:07:31.07
cattle, sheep and
things of that nature because
00:07:31.10\00:07:33.17
they don't distinguish
between the wild and those
00:07:33.61\00:07:36.12
that the rancher
considered to be very valuable.
00:07:36.25\00:07:38.25
And so he does have
some problems like that.
00:07:39.47\00:07:40.44
Now, that well into the
shoot you see, he is all
00:07:40.60\00:07:42.72
relaxed and he's happy
here. And boys and girls this
00:07:42.80\00:07:45.64
is a special privilege
for Ranger Jim to stand this
00:07:45.67\00:07:48.58
close to a wolf. So,
Ranger Jim as always telling you
00:07:48.74\00:07:51.98
boys and girls, don't
forget to tell Jesus that
00:07:52.01\00:07:54.22
you love him, because
he really does love you.
00:07:54.25\00:07:57.42
Hi, Uncle Buddy.
Hello, Yasmin would you like
00:08:14.03\00:08:17.30
me to measure you,
let's look and see how we're
00:08:17.46\00:08:19.40
doing here. You're
more than 36 inches tall,
00:08:19.54\00:08:24.07
you're getting very tall.
And didn't you just have a
00:08:24.20\00:08:26.52
birthday? Yeah. How old
are you? Just four, four,
00:08:26.74\00:08:31.21
but you told me you
want to be five pretty soon,
00:08:31.24\00:08:33.25
don't you? Yeah. Well,
you will be five in his time.
00:08:33.44\00:08:37.15
In his time, in his time
00:08:45.67\00:08:52.33
He makes all things
beautiful in his time
00:08:53.22\00:09:00.00
Lord, please show me everyday
00:09:00.91\00:09:04.54
As you're teaching me your way
00:09:04.60\00:09:08.05
As you'll do just
what you say In your time.
00:09:08.70\00:09:14.98
In your time, in your time
00:09:48.16\00:09:55.00
You make all things
beautiful, in your time
00:09:56.53\00:10:02.46
Lord, my life to you I bring
00:10:04.17\00:10:07.34
May each song I have to sing
00:10:07.91\00:10:11.31
Be to you a
lovely thing In your time
00:10:11.81\00:10:18.82
Lord, my life to you I bring
00:10:20.02\00:10:23.79
May each song I have to sing
00:10:24.25\00:10:27.83
Be to you a
lovely thing In your time
00:10:28.40\00:10:36.64
Hello, boys and
girls. Have you ever had
00:11:50.94\00:11:53.25
something happen to you
that was so amazing that
00:11:53.44\00:11:55.91
you just had to tell
someone? You have! Well,
00:11:55.94\00:12:00.30
then you know, exactly
how I feel? By the way,
00:12:00.49\00:12:05.02
my name is Malchus,
you have probably never
00:12:05.89\00:12:08.83
even heard of me before
that makes my story even
00:12:08.92\00:12:12.13
more amazing that
something this incredible would
00:12:12.19\00:12:15.02
happen to someone
is unimportant as me.
00:12:15.09\00:12:17.51
My job as a servant for
the high priest meant that
00:12:18.94\00:12:21.63
I would do whatever the
high priest asked me to do,
00:12:21.71\00:12:24.37
if he wanted a cup of
cold water I would be the one
00:12:25.48\00:12:28.29
to get it for him. If he
wanted to go to the market,
00:12:28.41\00:12:31.46
I would go with
him to carry his bags.
00:12:31.70\00:12:33.95
I slept in the hallway at
night, so I could hear the
00:12:35.21\00:12:37.42
high priest if he called
to me. I hear lots of things
00:12:37.50\00:12:41.17
in the hallway. Things
about the temple and keeping
00:12:41.34\00:12:44.32
the law of God, most
recently about a man named
00:12:44.35\00:12:47.36
Jesus, the high priest
doesn't like Jesus. Jesus is
00:12:47.43\00:12:52.67
more popular than the
high priest. People are
00:12:52.76\00:12:55.42
listening to what Jesus
says, and not what the high
00:12:55.48\00:12:58.09
priest says. Many people
believe that Jesus is the
00:12:58.12\00:13:02.33
promised messiah. The
high priest thinks he is a
00:13:02.44\00:13:06.39
troublemaker and
needs to be killed. Lately,
00:13:06.53\00:13:09.91
it seems that is all the
high priest can think about
00:13:10.19\00:13:12.78
it, getting rid of Jesus;
it's really gotten bad over
00:13:13.01\00:13:15.97
the past week. Especially,
since Jesus disrupted the
00:13:16.00\00:13:19.14
temple services. He
overturned the tables and
00:13:19.30\00:13:22.97
sent the money
changers away. Then he invited
00:13:23.39\00:13:26.49
children and their
families, into the temple for
00:13:26.71\00:13:28.57
prayer. I'm not
convinced that Jesus is so bad,
00:13:28.90\00:13:32.73
but the high priest is,
and since I work for him I
00:13:33.72\00:13:37.21
do what I'm told. The
other night Judas, one of
00:13:37.32\00:13:41.62
Jesus' disciples came; he
told the high priest that he
00:13:41.69\00:13:46.05
would betray Jesus
for 30 pieces of silver.
00:13:46.08\00:13:49.20
I waited and watched to
see what the high priest
00:13:50.56\00:13:52.84
would do next? Sure
enough, tonight Judas came
00:13:52.89\00:13:57.68
back to the high priest;
he told him that Jesus and his
00:13:57.77\00:14:01.62
disciples were at a garden
called Gethsemane. Malchus,
00:14:01.74\00:14:05.70
Malchus the high priest
called, awaken all of the
00:14:06.13\00:14:08.52
guards, tell them
to bring their swords,
00:14:08.71\00:14:10.91
tell them to expect to
fight as we go to arrest Jesus.
00:14:11.17\00:14:14.93
Soon an angry mob
gathered around the high priest
00:14:16.30\00:14:19.78
and Judas. I stood in the
middle of the crowd holding
00:14:19.81\00:14:23.27
a torchlight, everyone
seemed so anxious to find
00:14:23.36\00:14:27.36
Jesus. The crowd
shouted, Jesus is in Gethsemane.
00:14:27.43\00:14:31.89
Let's go get him. With
that we were off to the Garden.
00:14:32.24\00:14:37.44
There were lots of
people on the streets tonight.
00:14:38.23\00:14:40.31
Some of them joined us
in our search to find Jesus.
00:14:40.88\00:14:43.25
I carried the torch
light high so everyone could
00:14:43.78\00:14:46.49
see where to walk? We
arrived at the entrance to
00:14:46.65\00:14:50.27
the garden and walked
in. It was very dark, a heavy
00:14:50.30\00:14:55.61
fog seemed to hang in
the trees, and then suddenly
00:14:55.72\00:14:58.86
Jesus appeared. All the
soldiers drew their swords,
00:14:58.98\00:15:02.03
I thought they were
going to start and using their
00:15:02.51\00:15:04.08
swords right away, but
then Jesus spoke, "who is it
00:15:04.38\00:15:08.52
you want?" The crowed
shouted, Jesus of Nazareth,
00:15:08.59\00:15:12.51
Jesus replied, "I'm He."
Suddenly there was a very
00:15:14.12\00:15:17.96
bright light that's
split through the darkness.
00:15:18.04\00:15:20.15
Jesus stood there just
shining, I fell back in fear.
00:15:20.55\00:15:24.08
Everyone in the crowd
fell down to the ground,
00:15:24.53\00:15:26.69
blinded by the brightness
of this light. Then just as
00:15:26.81\00:15:30.94
quickly as it appeared
it went away. And when I
00:15:31.08\00:15:34.74
stood up, I couldn't
believe my eyes. I was amazed,
00:15:34.89\00:15:37.97
Jesus was still
standing there. He could have
00:15:38.32\00:15:40.77
escaped, if he had
wanted too. The crowd
00:15:40.86\00:15:44.46
recovered quickly as
well, wiping their eyes to
00:15:44.51\00:15:47.73
rid them of that bright
light, it was Judas to make
00:15:48.21\00:15:51.34
the next move. He
stepped right up to Jesus and
00:15:51.51\00:15:55.89
kissed him. The crowd
gathered around Jesus and
00:15:56.12\00:15:59.75
a huge Roman
soldier grabbed his wrist.
00:15:59.93\00:16:02.47
It was then that I was
jostled and pushed forward.
00:16:03.97\00:16:06.27
One of the followers of
Jesus pulled his sword and
00:16:06.72\00:16:09.77
without warning he
began to swing and flay wildly
00:16:09.83\00:16:12.51
with the sword. I tried
to duck to stay out of the
00:16:12.66\00:16:15.08
way, but just as I did
the sharp edge of the blade
00:16:18.63\00:16:19.60
caught my ear. Blood
gushed out all over my robe,
00:16:19.61\00:16:23.64
pain throbbed all
through my head, it was awful.
00:16:23.97\00:16:26.80
I was about to faint,
but then the most amazing
00:16:27.18\00:16:31.17
thing happened.
Without any effort at all,
00:16:31.20\00:16:34.42
Jesus reached out and
he touch the place where
00:16:35.21\00:16:38.39
my ear had been.
Incidentally, miraculously,
00:16:38.42\00:16:43.00
it was back in
place. The bleeding stopped,
00:16:43.17\00:16:45.98
the pain was gone. I
could hear what Jesus said;
00:16:46.36\00:16:53.18
Peter put your sword
away. Shall I not drink the cup
00:16:54.21\00:16:58.42
the Father has given
me? Jesus was saying,
00:16:58.51\00:17:02.76
this is why I have
come. I have come to die for
00:17:03.17\00:17:06.19
people like Malchus. I
couldn't believe my ears,
00:17:06.27\00:17:10.82
but I had too. Because
there were the ears that Jesus
00:17:11.04\00:17:13.93
had given back to me.
He touched me, Malchus,
00:17:13.96\00:17:20.03
the high priest servant,
not only did he touched my
00:17:20.97\00:17:24.78
ear, he touched my heart.
Boys and girls he will touch
00:17:24.99\00:17:30.31
your heart too, if you let
him, if you reached out and
00:17:30.55\00:17:34.45
heal someone as
unimportant as me.
00:17:34.72\00:17:36.81
I know that he
cares for you. In fact,
00:17:37.65\00:17:43.01
I want to tell
Jesus, how much I love him;
00:17:43.10\00:17:46.20
I want to have prayer right now.
00:17:47.59\00:17:49.94
Give Ear to My Words O Lord
00:18:16.19\00:18:22.04
Consider my meditations
00:18:23.43\00:18:30.27
Hearken unto the voice of my cry
00:18:31.38\00:18:37.22
My King and My God
For unto thee will I pray
00:18:38.33\00:18:51.85
My voice shalt
Thou hear in the morning
00:18:53.04\00:18:58.82
O Lord in the morning
Where I direct my prayers
00:19:00.48\00:19:06.99
Unto Thee and will look up
00:19:07.45\00:19:13.26
Give Ear to My Words O Lord
00:19:26.41\00:19:32.49
Consider my meditations
00:19:33.71\00:19:40.19
Hearken unto the voice of my cry
00:19:41.43\00:19:47.45
My King and My God
For unto thee will I pray
00:19:48.38\00:20:02.21
My voice shalt
Thou hear in the morning
00:20:03.21\00:20:09.05
O Lord in the morning
Where I direct my prayers
00:20:10.61\00:20:17.26
Unto Thee and will look
up O Lord in the morning
00:20:17.48\00:20:28.34
Where I direct my prayers
Unto Thee and will look up.
00:20:28.97\00:20:38.87
Thank you, and we're
back for that beautiful
00:21:02.23\00:21:03.78
message in song, I
just love that song.
00:21:03.87\00:21:06.17
Well, right now boys
and girls it's mailbox time.
00:21:06.67\00:21:08.86
And I'm getting ready
to check the mailbox to see
00:21:08.89\00:21:11.25
if I have any letters.
Do you think I do? I do have
00:21:11.28\00:21:15.31
some letters and a lot of
mail today. I love getting
00:21:15.42\00:21:18.63
the letters boys and
girls, I have one from
00:21:18.66\00:21:20.37
Canada and, and Jamaica,
and Illinois, and Washington
00:21:20.47\00:21:25.49
all over, but before I read
the letters, I'd like you to
00:21:25.56\00:21:28.51
meet a special guest
that I invited to join me here
00:21:28.56\00:21:31.06
on Kids Time
today. And boys and girls,
00:21:31.09\00:21:33.48
this is Marissa
Sutton. Hi, Marissa.
00:21:33.51\00:21:35.40
Hi. Thank you for
joining me today. I'm very glad
00:21:35.87\00:21:38.51
to be here, thank
you for inviting me.
00:21:38.62\00:21:40.37
Well, you're
welcome, I'm glad you to come.
00:21:40.77\00:21:42.76
Now, you have a special
ministry that you have at
00:21:42.85\00:21:47.90
home. Now, what do
you, what do you do to share
00:21:47.94\00:21:49.64
Jesus? I share Jesus
with the grandpa that we
00:21:49.89\00:21:52.27
adopted down in
Crystal Lake, Michigan.
00:21:52.38\00:21:54.42
Now, wait a minute. How
did you adopt to grandpa?
00:21:54.83\00:21:57.07
He is a grandpa that
doesn't have any grandchildren,
00:21:58.44\00:22:00.78
well he has grandchildren,
but he is never been
00:22:01.53\00:22:03.11
called the grandpa. He's
old and he is 92 years old,
00:22:03.34\00:22:07.17
and he's a sudden,
he can't get out hardly.
00:22:07.28\00:22:09.39
So, his, so he has
some health problems now,
00:22:10.34\00:22:13.53
and his own
grandchildren don't see him?
00:22:13.94\00:22:16.22
No , he is by himself,
we come and find him see him
00:22:16.55\00:22:19.41
once in a while. We
have, sometimes we have
00:22:19.47\00:22:21.11
Sabbath dinner with
him. And we have different
00:22:21.23\00:22:23.48
things with him. Oh!
Now, you did also something
00:22:23.57\00:22:26.83
special for him at
Christmas, didn't you, what did
00:22:26.91\00:22:28.63
you do? We took, we
brought down a tree for
00:22:28.75\00:22:31.46
him and we decorated
it up and we had special
00:22:31.68\00:22:34.56
things we prepared for
Christmas stocking with
00:22:34.66\00:22:35.96
stuffers in it. Now, we
have a picture to show you,
00:22:36.15\00:22:39.55
can I see the picture
over here. Now, this is a
00:22:39.67\00:22:42.36
picture of Leo and it
has, who is this right here?
00:22:42.52\00:22:46.08
That's my brother.
Your brother, and there is,
00:22:46.51\00:22:48.65
there you out right
there by the Christmas tree.
00:22:48.71\00:22:50.66
I know that must have
made him really happy.
00:22:51.18\00:22:53.20
What a wonderful way
to share Jesus some boys
00:22:53.71\00:22:55.80
and girls. Now, you
also know you, you know,
00:22:55.84\00:22:58.81
my mom and dad don't
you? Yes, I love them a lot.
00:22:58.95\00:23:01.57
I love them a lot too.
And you did something to
00:23:01.74\00:23:04.40
share Jesus to my dad,
didn't you? I brought my
00:23:04.52\00:23:08.29
violin over and we
would sing and play the violin
00:23:08.45\00:23:10.92
for him. You do and I
know that made him really
00:23:10.98\00:23:12.93
happy. My, my dad
hurt his back and for about
00:23:13.06\00:23:15.73
three months he was in
so much pain, he couldn't
00:23:15.90\00:23:18.65
even stand up straight,
he walked out, you know,
00:23:18.68\00:23:20.49
hunched over could
barely move, he was in so
00:23:20.73\00:23:22.65
much pain. We're
praying for him, and praying
00:23:22.73\00:23:24.36
for him. And I know
you're praying for him.
00:23:24.44\00:23:26.94
And he is doing so
much better and Marissa came
00:23:27.32\00:23:29.76
over with her violent
and I know that made him
00:23:29.79\00:23:31.92
really happy because he
told me. So, you share Jesus
00:23:32.07\00:23:35.02
with my dad. So,
thank you so much for that.
00:23:35.06\00:23:37.38
And I'm gonna read
some letters right now,
00:23:37.84\00:23:40.72
would you like to
hear some? Sure. Okay,
00:23:40.76\00:23:42.72
well I have one here
from Canada. And I'll let
00:23:43.13\00:23:45.70
you hold up some
pictures for me. Oh! This one
00:23:45.73\00:23:48.00
has two pictures, can you
hold two pictures at a time.
00:23:48.31\00:23:50.71
There we go, this
says, Dear, Ms. Brenda,
00:23:52.28\00:23:53.69
it says, hi I just want
to tell you thank you for
00:23:54.76\00:23:57.54
Kids Time and my whole
family loves Kids Time and
00:23:57.57\00:24:01.16
we tape the program and
share it with our cousins.
00:24:01.28\00:24:03.94
And it said, we love
Kids Time, and we pray and
00:24:04.06\00:24:06.99
we share Jesus by being
nice to my brother and I
00:24:07.52\00:24:11.32
pray for you. Well,
thank you, we always,
00:24:11.50\00:24:13.39
I always appreciate
the prayers. And it says,
00:24:15.82\00:24:16.79
love Michael and
Matthew. Well, thank you,
00:24:16.80\00:24:18.37
Michael and Matthew. And
we'll put those over here,
00:24:18.53\00:24:21.53
and then I have one
from Tennessee, and Oh!
00:24:21.91\00:24:25.63
Look, there's a
picture she drew me,
00:24:25.77\00:24:28.54
let's see what that,
and it says dear Ms. Brenda,
00:24:29.24\00:24:32.55
my name is Kathleen.
My grandma lives with
00:24:32.78\00:24:34.74
my family and I help
my grandma to put her
00:24:34.80\00:24:36.84
slippers on, here's a
picture you can hold up too.
00:24:37.01\00:24:39.41
And it says, and I open
doors for her when we go
00:24:40.18\00:24:42.37
out, I also like to
open doors for other people
00:24:42.52\00:24:45.15
and I like to sing and I
make up songs about Jesus
00:24:45.24\00:24:48.10
all the time. I
sing them whenever I can,
00:24:48.16\00:24:50.71
and whenever I'm in the
car or really just anywhere,
00:24:50.89\00:24:53.39
even in the store if
shopping. I love Jesus very,
00:24:53.46\00:24:56.54
very much, love Kathleen.
Well, thank you so much
00:24:56.74\00:24:59.62
Kathleen. And I think
there is a time for another
00:24:59.70\00:25:02.97
letter here. This one's
from Jamaica, and this says,
00:25:03.56\00:25:07.74
dear, Ms. Brenda, good
day to you and the kids on
00:25:08.16\00:25:10.82
Kids Time. My name
Tanay Jackson and I'm soon to
00:25:11.05\00:25:13.89
be seven years
old. And I go to church,
00:25:13.92\00:25:16.34
I love Kids Time, and I
love the letters that's my
00:25:16.78\00:25:19.85
favorite part. I love
3ABN and I love the music.
00:25:19.97\00:25:23.26
Sometimes I don't go to
church, so that I can stay
00:25:23.72\00:25:26.90
and watch 3ABN. It
says I love; I love 3ABN and
00:25:27.01\00:25:31.59
please send me a Kids
Time activity book. Thank you,
00:25:31.84\00:25:34.34
for answering my
letter, love Tanay Jackson.
00:25:34.45\00:25:36.45
Well, thank you Tanay,
and I will send you a book
00:25:36.83\00:25:38.67
and thank you for your
letter. This one is from,
00:25:40.09\00:25:44.37
from Illinois and it
says, dear Ms. Brenda,
00:25:44.97\00:25:48.04
I really like Kids
Time, I watch every Sabbath
00:25:48.28\00:25:50.51
morning when I'm
eating my breakfast,
00:25:50.56\00:25:52.18
I like to learn more
about what foods are in the
00:25:52.53\00:25:54.94
forest to eat.
Ranger Jim is my favorite,
00:25:55.03\00:25:57.63
I'm five years old and
I go to church with my dad
00:25:58.03\00:26:00.94
and uncle Beez, and,
and Aunt Debbie and Becky
00:26:01.02\00:26:03.73
and my grandpa. My
mommy is having a baby in one
00:26:04.08\00:26:06.83
week . And her name will
be Chloe. Love, Alexandra.

Well, thank you Alexandra
for that wonderful letter
00:26:11.29\00:26:13.44
and congratulations
on your new baby sister.
00:26:13.83\00:26:16.49
Well, I want to thank Marissa
for being with me on Kids
00:26:17.15\00:26:19.32
Time today, I want
to encourage you to keep
00:26:19.40\00:26:21.74
witnessing and I also
want to thank you for playing
00:26:21.77\00:26:24.40
your violin for my dad,
I know that made him really
00:26:24.43\00:26:26.60
happy. Boys and girls,
won't you find someone today
00:26:26.75\00:26:29.39
that you can witness
to, because Jesus is coming
00:26:29.51\00:26:32.40
soon. Remember boys and girls,
00:26:32.64\00:26:34.22
it's Kids Time to share Jesus.
