00:01 It's time to share there's a world out there,
00:07 Looking for a friend like Jesus. It's time to 00:11 share there's a world out there; Let's tell them 00:14 that He loves us so. Let's tell them that He loves 00:18 us so. Kids Time, Kids Time, Kids Time. 00:25 Hello, boys and girls, wow this flame is 00:28 hot. It so hot I wouldn't be able to put my 00:30 hand over it like that for very long would I 00:33 I think I'll light my candle over here and do you know 00:37 what, if I held this fire to this candle there for 00:40 very long at a time. Like the whole candle would just 00:44 turn it to one great big waxy puddle. Fire is very 00:48 powerful and it can melt not only this wax, 00:51 but it can burn wood and cloth and other materials. 00:55 It can destroy huge buildings and mighty forests 00:59 and houses and factories and farms. 01:02 If it's hot enough, it can even melt steel. 01:06 Well, today's Bible story tells us about three men 01:09 who found themselves right in the middle of 01:12 an extremely hot fire and the fire wasn't simply from 01:16 one little match but from a fire so hot that you 01:20 wouldn't have even been able to come close to it. 01:23 You would have had to stay far away and 01:25 still feel that heat, the heat would have just hit 01:28 you like a wall and force you to back away from it 01:31 as fast as possible. Surely, we would thank 01:35 these men had no chance to survive such a fire 01:38 because they were right in the middle of it, right? 01:40 But the miracle is, that they did survive 01:43 and the reason they did is that Jesus was with them. 01:46 I hope you never find yourself in any kind of 01:49 danger like that and you should surely stay away from 01:52 fire. Never play with matches or anything that 01:55 will produce a fire. But if you were ever in danger, 01:58 boys and girls I wanna urge you to do one thing. 02:02 Do you know what that is? I want you to pray to Jesus, 02:05 because he has promised to always be with you, 02:08 always. And now Ranger Jim is going to tell us about an 02:13 animal with the very interesting name Capybara. 02:25 Hi, boys and girls Ranger Jim saying, 02:27 welcome to Nature Time, we're glad you can 02:29 join us again today where we at beautiful Silver 02:31 Spring near Ocala, Florida. We have our friend 02:33 Jesse with us, Jesse, what are these beautiful 02:35 creatures we have behind us here. 02:36 These are unique animals, they are Capybaras from 02:39 South America, and they are the largest rodents in the 02:41 world. These are rodents? They are the largest rodent 02:44 in the world; something really unique about these 02:46 animals is they live in an aquatic lifestyle 02:50 in South America. Now, of course South America 02:53 in that area is full of other wildlife cayman, 02:56 and we all know the anacondas the big giant, 02:59 the heaviest bodied snakes in the world, live in the 03:01 same terrain, right in those marshy areas 03:03 almost like the wet grass lands and these 03:06 animals are actually again nutrient, they 03:09 enrich the soil, they walk through the water 03:12 about ways deep and they can bring up soil, 03:14 they can bring up plant life, other animals 03:16 growing there and of course other animals prey on this, 03:19 when they're born they look like a small pig, 03:22 they raise their young in the water, they teach them 03:24 how to swim and of course the cayman eat 03:27 these animals, the anacondas would love 03:30 taking a small animal. What about the piranhas. 03:32 Yikes, you're right, when they swim across 03:34 the river, if the piranhas are in that area 03:36 which a lot of people believe that piranhas 03:38 strictly go after anything that hits a river, 03:40 they don't do this. But if they're in the 03:42 same area, one piranha starts they get into 03:44 a frenzy, it sends out a signal and before you 03:47 know it, the water is turning up and like I said 03:49 yikes, because they will feed off and in course 03:52 up piranhas are valuable to ecosystem, 03:54 that's a very valuable to food chain. So, also 03:57 there is a big cat called jaguars, that feeds on 04:00 them also. That's right jaguars are at the 04:02 top of that pyramid, the crocodiles, 04:05 crocodiles again they love to eat these animals. 04:07 But the unique thing about crocodiles compared to 04:09 piranhas, the metabolism is different; you get 04:11 the piranha that's very, very active all the time 04:14 They need to eat all the time, right, just like 04:16 those bats, they have to eat all the time. You get a 04:19 crocodilian they eat, they gorge out, they go up 04:21 on the bank and they rest, they store all that 04:24 food and that's the way they survive. 04:25 So, we've find that is very dangerous in the jungle. 04:28 Yeah, absolutely we have to careful, well, I know 04:31 if I was in the river I would be very, very 04:33 careful. Okay, Jesse tell me how many babies 04:36 do they normally have? They will just have two babies, 04:39 they raise them in the water and these babies stay with 04:41 mothers, they are very, very good mothers, 04:43 they stay with the babies all the time. And they sort 04:45 of push them with their nose, if they get out of 04:47 line a little bit, they go and get them and bring them 04:49 in. They stay in the water all the time, they 04:51 teach them how to swim, so usually have two babies. 04:54 And it's very important that they stay with their 04:56 mothers and they learn that because of all 04:57 the dangerous that we have discussed. Now, boys and 04:59 girls we have told you that they rodents and if you 05:02 remember we have talked about rodents before. 05:03 They have teeth and their teeth continue to grow 05:06 and they must continue to gnaw and to chew, if they 05:10 don't their teeth will grow and sometimes 05:12 we have terrible accidents in nature. The teeth 05:14 grow up even into their noses. And so they 05:17 must gnaw and chew and around this place there 05:19 many cypress trees with big cypress leaves that 05:22 stick up in the air and so they'll continue to chew 05:24 and chew and chew on this. It's almost like a 05:27 beaver with the rodent this size it look like a 05:29 beaver has been chewing it. This is Ranger Jim 05:32 boys and girls saying don't forget to tell Jesus that 05:34 you love Him, because he really does love you. 05:46 I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart, 05:48 I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad 05:51 and rejoice in you; I will sing praises 05:54 to your name, O Most High. Psalms 9:1 and 2. 06:00 Hello, boys and girls Ranger Jim always does 06:02 such a great job of talking about nature. Well, we 06:06 wanna sing about our nature and praise God 06:08 for all his creations. When the sea is where we want, 06:19 we can run in the crowd and watch a sleepy old 06:22 possum hanging upside down, see an army 06:24 of ants busy building their hill and watch a boy 06:27 getting with a fish in his bowl. I want to praise God 06:31 for his creation, all his creatures great and small, 06:36 praise God for he's creator, the maker of us all. 06:47 When I see a baby bird hatch now that we sing or 06:50 watch the big flamingos standing on runaway. 06:53 See a rottweiler pups slowly open their eyes 06:56 or watch a buzzing bee making honey all the time, 06:59 I want to praise God for his creation, all his creatures 07:04 great and small, praise God for he's creator, 07:08 the maker of us all. I want to praise God for 07:13 his creation, all his creatures great and small, 07:17 praise God for he's creator, the maker of us all. 07:22 The maker of us all. Who will help me go to sleep, 07:48 and my mommy told me not one peek, 07:53 I can sleep while knowing I am loved, 07:58 cause the Lord from above and even though the good 08:06 shepherd count sleep, he never sleeps, he 08:11 never sleeps and even though the good 08:16 shepherd count sleep, he never sleeps, he 08:22 never sleeps. Now I can close my eyes and go 08:33 to sleep. Knowing that my Jesus is with me. 08:55 I'm King Nebuchadnezzar, I rule a great 08:58 kingdom called Babylon. Babylon was a large and 09:02 powerful kingdom I thought I was the most powerful 09:05 king in the world, nothing could hurt my kingdom. 09:10 Then I had bad dream, when I woke up I couldn't 09:13 remember the dream at all, only one of my wisemen 09:17 could help me. Daniel prayed to his God in heaven 09:21 and his God told me what my dream was 09:24 and what it meant. Later I called for Daniel and 09:28 his three friends, Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego 09:33 to come to my throne room. I ask them about 09:36 their God in heaven, the God of heaven 09:39 created all the heavens and the earth they said. 09:43 He created the sun, the moon, the stars. 09:46 He created men and animals, I had never heard 09:50 this before. If these Hebrews were right, 09:54 the God of heaven was more powerful than any God 09:57 of Babylon. I couldn't stop thinking about the dream 10:01 that tall statue with the head of gold. But I didn't 10:05 like the meaning of the dream; I didn't want 10:09 other kings to destroy this beautiful great Babylon 10:12 that I had built. The worse part of the dream 10:16 was that stone that destroyed the statue. 10:21 What? Is it possible that Daniel was right about the 10:25 stone, could that stone mean the God of heaven was 10:30 more powerful than I, Nebuchadnezzar, 10:33 King of Babylon. One day I had an idea, a good idea, 10:40 I would have a great tall statue of the man built like 10:43 the one in my dream. No, not exactly like the one in my 10:47 dream, the statue in my dream had only a head of 10:51 gold. I would make the whole statue gold, 10:55 at a great celebration I would command everyone 10:58 to bow down and worship the golden statue. 11:01 I like that idea that all gold statue meant 11:06 Babylon and it meant everything to me, 11:09 Nebuchadnezzar. So, the people would be worshiping 11:13 me, oh! I really like that idea. I forgot about the 11:18 God of Heaven, I was ready to show everyone that 11:22 I was the most powerful King alive. Finally the 11:26 statue was built, that was a 100 feet tall 11:31 and all gold. The time for the celebration to 11:35 come, I invited all the important people of my 11:37 kingdom. The governors, the judges, the councilors, 11:41 the chiefs, my throne chair was moved out to the 11:44 great flat plain of Dura. So, I could see the 11:48 statue, I could hear the music and see the 11:51 people, at the right time my chief officer 11:54 shouted. So, all the people could hear, 11:57 listen everyone so you know what the 12:01 King commands. As soon as you hear the 12:04 sound of music, you shall fall down to 12:07 worship the golden statue that King 12:10 Nebuchadnezzar has set up. Then the chief officer 12:15 added this terrible warning, whoever does 12:19 not bow down and worship the statue 12:21 shall be thrown into the burning fiery furnace. 12:28 Then the band began to play and across the 12:31 plain of Dura, I saw the people bow low to worship 12:35 the statue. Oh! I was so proud to think that the 12:39 people were worshiping me, me, me the great 12:42 King Nebuchadnezzar. Then I saw on the plain 12:47 that some government men were not bowing. 12:51 They were standing, yes three men standing up 12:57 straight and tall. All the music played, I called my 13:01 chief officer and a few soldiers, they hurried 13:04 toward the three men stood and brought them to me. 13:07 I was shocked, I knew these men they were 13:11 Daniel's three friends, Hebrew friends, 13:13 Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego, by now 13:17 the music was stopped and everyone waited to 13:19 see what I would do. Is it true, I ask the three men 13:24 that you did not worship the golden statue which I 13:27 have set up. Do you not know the command? 13:31 Did you not hear the music? Do you not know that 13:35 those who disobey will be thrown into a burning 13:39 fiery furnace? I thought I would give them another 13:44 chance to obey. The young men did not wait a moment 13:47 to answer me. They said that they worship 13:50 only the God in heaven and he is able to deliver 13:56 us out of your hand O King. But if not you must 14:00 understand that we will not serve your Gods or worship 14:03 this golden statue which you have set up. I have 14:07 never been so angry in my life, that these three 14:10 Hebrews know what it meant to disobey me. 14:14 Did they think that I was kidding about the fiery 14:16 furnace? Well, I would show them, and all 14:20 those people watching who is more powerful. 14:24 The King of Babylon or the God of heaven, 14:29 heat the furnace to make it seven times hotter 14:32 I roared to servants and tie up these Hebrews 14:35 with strong ropes, so, they cannot run away. 14:39 I could see the furnace flames. They grew hotter 14:43 and hotter, so hot that I could feel the heat on 14:46 my face. Even on my throne chair, throw them in 14:51 I yelled and the servants obeyed 1, 2, 3 men were 14:57 thrown into the fire. I saw the servants throw 15:01 them in the fire they fall and died in the 15:05 terrible heat. I didn't care, 15:08 I only wanted to see those 15:10 three Hebrews, burned up I looked and 15:16 looked into the terrible hot fire. 15:19 I couldn't believe my eyes, I saw the three men 15:23 no, no, not three men. There were four men, 15:28 four men walking in that terrible hot fire 15:32 and I could see that the fire did not hurt them. 15:37 Suddenly, suddenly I knew it was the God 15:41 of heaven walking in the fire with the Hebrews. 15:45 Come out, come out of the fire I shouted 15:49 and they came just three of them, everyone could 15:54 see that they were not burned. And their hair 15:57 was not even scorched; they didn't even smell 16:00 of fire. But the strong ropes that had tied 16:04 them had burned away. I looked at these 16:09 three young men, I knew that the idea of 16:12 my gold statue was all wrong. I was ready to 16:19 give a new command to the people gathered 16:21 about the statue, blessed, blessed be the God 16:25 of heaven I said, he protected these three 16:29 men from the burning fiery furnace. 16:32 I told all my kingdom of Babylon not to 16:35 worship any other God, except the God of heaven. 16:38 No other God could do what God did today. 16:45 Now, I know that the God in heaven is the 16:49 only real God he saved the three Hebrews 16:53 from the fiery furnace and he can save 16:56 you from all the troubles of this world. 17:00 He is the only God to love, the only God to be obey. 20:38 I wanna thank you for that message in song, 20:41 oh! I love hearing beautiful instruments 20:43 like that don't you, I can't wait till I get to heaven 20:45 and just maybe I'll be able to play like that. 20:48 Well, right now boys and girls it's mail box time 20:51 and I'm just gonna get the mail and yes 20:53 we do have lots of letters today. 20:55 Oh! We got a letter here from Philippians. 20:58 So, I can't wait to read it to you. 21:00 But first I wanna introduce to you our special guest, 21:03 I have Alisha Powell, hi Alisha, hi, 21:05 I'm so glad that you could be here on 21:07 Kid's Time today and thank you for coming, 21:09 you're welcome. Well, let me tell and ask you 21:12 if you would to share with the boys and girls. 21:14 You had a really a sad thing that happened 21:16 in to your Church. But you really turn into Jesus love, 21:20 can you tell us about it? Well, a couple of years 21:23 ago when my family, after my family 21:25 and I come home from Church, 21:27 we found out that a tornado had gone 21:29 through a area that four of our Church 21:31 members lived, we were very shocked 21:34 because when we got out of the Church 21:36 we notice that the sky was cloudy, 21:38 but we hadn't really thought that anything 21:40 about it. So, you didn't actually see the 21:42 tornado no. oh! But it seemed kind of dark 21:46 and yes and then you found out that the tornado 21:50 had hit your city and then what happened. 21:52 Well, we discovered that what we found out 21:55 that one of the members had been able to 21:56 get to the hospital. But in the morning 21:59 we discovered that other three had died. 22:01 Oh! No, so what did you do? Well, few weeks 22:05 later my mom and brothers and sister and I, 22:08 we volunteered at a local disaster relief center 22:11 and I helped sort boxes and other needed 22:14 materials and food. That the people who are 22:16 effective by the tornado needed. 22:18 Well, that's good, what kind of stuff was out 22:22 there, was it like this clothing and like 22:25 all different kinds of food even fresh food 22:27 that like, clothing, food you know accessories 22:30 and things that people needed. 22:31 Shampoos and hair sprays and deodorant soap, 22:34 all that kind of stuff and so you sorted all 22:36 that out and you helped out. Well, that was a 22:38 good thing to do and so what else did you do? 22:41 Well also when organization called 22:44 NAPS came to our society. Now, what is NAPS, 22:46 it's stands for the National Association 22:49 for the Prevention of Starvation. 22:50 Oh! Yes, and tell us about that. 22:53 Well when they came to our city I helped my mom 22:55 organize that event and I also was able to 22:58 march in a anti-drug march. Well, that was 23:01 wonderful thing you know boys and girls, 23:03 anytime we have a chance to say no to drugs 23:08 and witness to others to say no the drugs. 23:10 We need to do that don't we? 23:11 So, I really support that because drugs are a 23:15 really bad thing. Now, you have brought 23:18 something with you, what did your bring with 23:19 you today. Well, I brought these cards that 23:22 I made and was going to distribute them 23:26 to a prison to see if they could have give them 23:28 to all the prisoners. But they said no, 23:31 so I was thinking in another way that I could 23:33 share these with people, was to give them to 23:34 people that were in need or I felt like include 23:38 them in bills, oh! That's so if now, 23:40 now you don't write bills at your age do you, 23:43 how old are you? 12, 12 now you could maybe 23:47 ask your mom and dad if you could put them 23:48 in their bills, right and can you read 23:51 one of them for me. It says: Trust in him 23:54 at all times, ye people; Pour out your hearts 23:57 before him: God is a refuge for us. 24:00 Selah, Psalms 62:8 and on the other side 24:04 it says someone is praying for you. 24:05 Oh! What a wonderful ministry 24:07 and I bet you you're gonna find, you pray about it 24:09 and the Lord's going to impress you where 24:10 you need to put those and you will make a lots of, 24:12 lots of my thank. Well, right now I have a 24:15 couple of letters to share with you. 24:16 I'm excited because I have our first letter 24:18 from the Philippians and this is one from Michelle 24:22 and I think it's called Silva Lina. 24:24 I have believe oh!
