It's time to share there's a world out there 00:00:03.40\00:00:07.18 Looking for a friend like Jesus 00:00:07.19\00:00:10.31 It's time to share there's a world out there 00:00:10.32\00:00:13.63 Let's tell them that He loves us so 00:00:13.64\00:00:17.00 Let's tell them that He loves us so 00:00:17.01\00:00:20.48 Kids' Time, Kids' Time Kids' Time, Kids' Time 00:00:20.49\00:00:25.98 Hi Boys and girls, how do you like my lion. 00:00:25.99\00:00:29.07 I really like him, he is so soft and cuddly. 00:00:29.08\00:00:32.61 I can pat him like this or lean my cheek against him, 00:00:32.62\00:00:36.67 but of course he's not real. 00:00:36.68\00:00:38.31 He's simply a toy and he's made out of cloth 00:00:38.32\00:00:41.00 and I think there's some stuffing in there too. 00:00:41.01\00:00:43.36 His eyes can't see 00:00:43.37\00:00:44.99 and his mouth can't open and shut 00:00:45.00\00:00:47.07 and he just can't take a swipe 00:00:47.08\00:00:48.50 at anything with his clawless paws. 00:00:48.51\00:00:51.14 This lion can't roar or run, 00:00:51.15\00:00:53.81 or even swish his little tail back here. 00:00:53.82\00:00:56.98 Of course, if he could do all those things, 00:00:56.99\00:00:58.72 I wouldn't dare to get this close to him. 00:00:58.73\00:01:01.38 You know, in the beginning 00:01:01.39\00:01:02.39 God created animals to be gentle, 00:01:02.40\00:01:04.69 even the lions and the tigers. 00:01:04.70\00:01:06.89 But when sin came into the world, 00:01:06.90\00:01:08.79 animals were affected too, 00:01:08.80\00:01:10.23 making some of them mean and dangerous. 00:01:10.24\00:01:13.05 Won't it be wonderful when we get to heaven 00:01:13.06\00:01:15.43 and all the animals will be gentle once again, 00:01:15.44\00:01:18.58 I can't wait for that day? 00:01:18.59\00:01:20.81 Right now Ranger Jim is going to tell us 00:01:20.82\00:01:22.69 about a friendly animal the Ferret. 00:01:22.70\00:01:25.24 Hi boys and girls, Ranger Jim, here 00:01:31.92\00:01:33.64 as you can see we have a very restless Slinky here 00:01:33.65\00:01:36.28 that I'm holding. 00:01:36.29\00:01:37.30 He's a beautiful Ferret, not only is he a Ferret, 00:01:37.31\00:01:39.30 but he's also Albino. 00:01:39.31\00:01:41.01 You could see his beautiful color, 00:01:41.02\00:01:42.75 his lovely eyes. 00:01:42.76\00:01:43.92 Albinism is caused by a lack of a gene, 00:01:43.93\00:01:47.09 a missing gene in their genetic code 00:01:47.10\00:01:49.70 and therefore don't have the ability 00:01:49.71\00:01:51.55 to form the colors in their fur and in their eyes. 00:01:51.56\00:01:55.22 And so their eyes are perfectly clear 00:01:55.23\00:01:57.43 and the pink that we see in their eyes is called 00:01:57.44\00:02:00.02 that we're looking, actually seeing the blood vessels 00:02:00.03\00:02:02.65 in the eye itself. 00:02:02.66\00:02:04.33 And so and these animals, 00:02:04.34\00:02:05.40 it makes a beautiful creature. 00:02:05.41\00:02:07.05 Ferrets are not wild animals, they're domesticated animals, 00:02:07.06\00:02:09.79 have been domesticated for 2500 years. 00:02:09.80\00:02:12.41 So to describe a Ferret, he is more or less, 00:02:12.42\00:02:14.77 between a cat and a dog, okay. 00:02:14.78\00:02:17.06 Little more independent like a cat, 00:02:17.07\00:02:19.33 but as you can see he is very unhappy, 00:02:19.34\00:02:21.19 he wants to get down. 00:02:21.20\00:02:22.45 We're visiting in his home today, 00:02:22.46\00:02:23.75 he wants to get down 00:02:23.76\00:02:24.73 and play on the floor like any pet. 00:02:24.74\00:02:26.87 And I'm still trying to bounce him you see, 00:02:26.88\00:02:28.85 to keep him quiet, but if I don't do that, 00:02:28.86\00:02:30.80 then he gets a little bite at you that he wants down. 00:02:30.81\00:02:33.00 But let's just talk about the Ferret 00:02:33.01\00:02:34.62 and he is a very interesting creature. 00:02:34.63\00:02:38.03 The boys we call a hob, can you imagine that. 00:02:38.04\00:02:41.61 And the girls, that's better, girls are called jills. 00:02:41.62\00:02:44.35 But this is a little hob and he is a cancer survivor. 00:02:44.36\00:02:47.78 In fact he has had cancer three times, 00:02:47.79\00:02:49.95 isn't that wonderful that he's survived 00:02:49.96\00:02:51.88 good veterinarian care. 00:02:51.89\00:02:53.39 And I was just talking to his owner 00:02:53.40\00:02:54.96 and she was expressing we thought that, 00:02:54.97\00:02:57.20 when we take an animal 00:02:57.21\00:02:59.23 like Ranger Jim has told you before, 00:02:59.24\00:03:01.21 when we have an animal, we're responsible for it. 00:03:01.22\00:03:03.91 And so when her Ferret got cancer, 00:03:03.92\00:03:06.40 she didn't have him destroyed and put to sleep. 00:03:06.41\00:03:08.98 She took him to the best veterinarian 00:03:08.99\00:03:10.65 that she could find. 00:03:10.66\00:03:11.75 And so the veterinarian removed a cancer 00:03:11.76\00:03:13.72 from under his shoulder here. 00:03:13.73\00:03:15.29 Then he had to have another cancer removed 00:03:15.30\00:03:17.26 and eventually Slinky lost half of his tail. 00:03:17.27\00:03:20.11 Normally he has a longer tail, 00:03:20.12\00:03:21.95 but he has a short tail now. 00:03:21.96\00:03:23.66 We are happy to have him survived, 00:03:23.67\00:03:25.31 and now she says, he is as happy and healthy 00:03:25.32\00:03:28.22 as the horse, okay. 00:03:28.23\00:03:29.62 So that's the wonderful story in itself, isn't it? 00:03:29.63\00:03:32.00 Ferrets normally breed and the mother gives birth 00:03:32.01\00:03:36.08 to four or five kids and raises them. 00:03:36.09\00:03:39.06 And of course being a mammal, giving birth to live young 00:03:39.07\00:03:42.00 and feeding their young from mammary glands 00:03:42.01\00:03:44.14 that she has on her stomach like this. 00:03:44.15\00:03:47.18 Ferrets come in many different colors, 00:03:47.19\00:03:48.79 there are some beautiful sables 00:03:48.80\00:03:50.47 and browns and things of that nature. 00:03:50.48\00:03:52.96 And really Ferrets are not recommended to families 00:03:52.97\00:03:55.84 who have children, especially small children. 00:03:55.85\00:03:58.32 Now if your child eight or ten years old 00:03:58.33\00:04:00.99 and mother and dad agree and you are knowledgeable 00:04:01.00\00:04:03.68 somewhat about Ferrets, or you have a friend 00:04:03.69\00:04:05.66 who has a Ferret that visited in your home 00:04:05.67\00:04:08.23 and your people can see him and estimate, 00:04:08.24\00:04:11.65 make an evaluation, if you could have this as a pet. 00:04:11.66\00:04:14.64 They do make pet for older boys and girls, 00:04:14.65\00:04:16.96 they are wonderful companion. 00:04:16.97\00:04:18.96 They're amusing, you can watch them by the hour. 00:04:18.97\00:04:21.94 Give them a roll of paper towels. 00:04:21.95\00:04:24.80 Slinky, here's favorite pastime for his owner, 00:04:24.81\00:04:28.23 it's for her to wet a mop and put it on the floor 00:04:28.24\00:04:30.39 and can you believe that 00:04:30.40\00:04:31.67 Slinky weighs two-and-half pounds. 00:04:31.68\00:04:34.16 He can pull a wetted mop right across the floor. 00:04:34.17\00:04:37.51 Its amazing the strength of a Ferret and as you can see, 00:04:37.52\00:04:40.56 he is getting very unhappy now. 00:04:40.57\00:04:42.54 He wants me to let him go and get on the floor, 00:04:42.55\00:04:44.59 so he can do all these things. 00:04:44.60\00:04:46.28 I've been telling him that he is a very famous Ferret 00:04:46.29\00:04:48.88 that he is on television. 00:04:48.89\00:04:50.19 So boys and girls can see him. 00:04:50.20\00:04:51.94 Now, Ferrets do have an odor, a musk odor because 00:04:51.95\00:04:55.75 they're from the weasel family, 00:04:55.76\00:04:57.92 minks and weasels and polecats 00:04:57.93\00:04:59.77 and things of that nature and all of them 00:04:59.78\00:05:01.89 have a certain characteristic odor about them. 00:05:01.90\00:05:04.44 And that's from glands and their fur 00:05:04.45\00:05:06.78 and this is to assist in their fur waterproofing it 00:05:06.79\00:05:09.91 and making them healthy. 00:05:09.92\00:05:11.35 Many people make the mistake 00:05:11.36\00:05:12.58 because the Ferret has some odor about it 00:05:12.59\00:05:14.50 that they give him a bath. 00:05:14.51\00:05:15.81 And they bath him, and they bath him, 00:05:15.82\00:05:17.12 and they bath him, the more you bath him, 00:05:17.13\00:05:19.60 the more they sweat, the more the oil glands 00:05:19.61\00:05:21.94 in its fur work and pour forth 00:05:21.95\00:05:24.64 more, and more, and more of the musk 00:05:24.65\00:05:26.48 and so you're defeating the purpose. 00:05:26.49\00:05:28.75 The more you bath the Ferret, 00:05:28.76\00:05:30.11 the more prominent will be the odor, okay. 00:05:30.12\00:05:32.86 And so if you've a Ferret, 00:05:32.87\00:05:34.06 you're having a problem with the odor. 00:05:34.07\00:05:35.28 I would recommend 00:05:35.29\00:05:36.34 that you just stop bathing him so often. 00:05:36.35\00:05:38.12 He's clean, he's neat, he bath himself. 00:05:38.13\00:05:40.39 You can see him licking his paws and cleaning himself 00:05:40.40\00:05:43.86 and so spend more time 00:05:43.87\00:05:45.31 in taking care of the litter box. 00:05:45.32\00:05:47.06 The Ferret is easily trained to a litter box like a cat 00:05:47.07\00:05:50.18 and he also enjoys special treats 00:05:50.19\00:05:52.71 that we have over of the side, 00:05:52.72\00:05:53.90 I might give him one of these and see if he would like it. 00:05:53.91\00:05:56.11 Would you like a treat, would you like a treat? 00:05:56.12\00:05:59.07 Okay, but you don't want to stay here and eat it, 00:05:59.08\00:06:00.88 do you, because the Ferret has a habit, 00:06:00.89\00:06:03.53 something that he loves to do. 00:06:03.54\00:06:05.24 He will steal things, okay, small mirror or shiny things 00:06:05.25\00:06:09.77 or even larger things and then he loves to take them 00:06:09.78\00:06:12.48 and hide them behind the Davenport, 00:06:12.49\00:06:14.34 behind the bed, behind the chair wherever, 00:06:14.35\00:06:17.02 so they're mischievous in that. 00:06:17.03\00:06:18.50 So you would want to take that into consideration. 00:06:18.51\00:06:20.68 If you're gonna have a Ferret, 00:06:20.69\00:06:21.82 having running loose in your house, 00:06:21.83\00:06:23.50 you would want to Ferret proof your house. 00:06:23.51\00:06:26.18 Much the same we do at our house 00:06:26.19\00:06:28.35 when we have the grandchildren come, 00:06:28.36\00:06:29.99 we grandchildren proof the house, okay. 00:06:30.00\00:06:32.28 Grandmother has many nice things 00:06:32.29\00:06:33.87 that she has on coffee tables. 00:06:33.88\00:06:35.50 We don't leave those things out when a two-year-old 00:06:35.51\00:06:38.02 or an eighteen months old toddler is 00:06:38.03\00:06:39.51 coming to your house, because if you do, 00:06:39.52\00:06:42.07 they're going to be into it and destroy it. 00:06:42.08\00:06:44.02 So if you've the Ferret, we'd want to protect those things 00:06:44.03\00:06:47.15 as well as protecting things 00:06:47.16\00:06:48.68 that the Ferret might injure themselves upon. 00:06:48.69\00:06:50.91 We wouldn't have an extension cord 00:06:50.92\00:06:52.50 that they might chew on and electrocute themselves 00:06:52.51\00:06:54.75 and things of this nature. 00:06:54.76\00:06:55.74 So they do make a wonderful pet 00:06:55.75\00:06:57.99 and so keep that in mind 00:06:58.00\00:06:59.08 if you're considering getting one, 00:06:59.09\00:07:00.72 you can buy them from the store. 00:07:00.73\00:07:02.45 And some states in the past, they in most states now 00:07:02.46\00:07:05.01 they're legal but they were illegal 00:07:05.02\00:07:06.53 because early in American history 00:07:06.54\00:07:09.20 man learn that you could trap a Ferret and train it. 00:07:09.21\00:07:11.95 Then when you went rabbit hunting 00:07:11.96\00:07:13.36 in the winter time, 00:07:13.37\00:07:14.34 when the snow was on the ground, 00:07:14.35\00:07:15.76 the rabbits like to spend the winter underground 00:07:15.77\00:07:18.60 in the burrow of a fox den 00:07:18.61\00:07:19.90 or something like that where it is comfortable, 00:07:19.91\00:07:22.44 safe away from the cold weather 00:07:22.45\00:07:24.06 and what have you so. 00:07:24.07\00:07:25.08 Sometimes there might be fifteen to twenty rabbits 00:07:25.09\00:07:27.47 occupying one abandoned fox den. 00:07:27.48\00:07:29.91 If you had a Ferret all you had to do 00:07:29.92\00:07:31.99 even though the Ferret wasn't big enough to grab the rabbit 00:07:32.00\00:07:35.29 and kill it, it was enough that 00:07:35.30\00:07:36.78 when the Ferret went down 00:07:36.79\00:07:37.80 and they're wandering into the hole, 00:07:37.81\00:07:39.01 the rabbits all came out the other end of the hole, 00:07:39.02\00:07:41.42 I promise you. 00:07:41.43\00:07:42.53 And so then the farmer or the man 00:07:42.54\00:07:44.37 who was hunting rabbits for food 00:07:44.38\00:07:46.09 would stand there with his gun and shoot the rabbits. 00:07:46.10\00:07:48.48 So it became an illegal form of hunting to use the Ferret. 00:07:48.49\00:07:52.52 To chase game from a hole that was an unfair advantage 00:07:52.53\00:07:55.29 and I would agree with that, that should be illegal. 00:07:55.30\00:07:58.61 But now in most places Ferrets are legal, 00:07:58.62\00:08:01.18 so if you want to consider getting one, 00:08:01.19\00:08:03.20 be sure to get it. 00:08:03.21\00:08:04.18 But he is a wonderful, 00:08:04.19\00:08:05.67 now that we're probably finished with the project, 00:08:05.68\00:08:07.88 he has realized 00:08:07.89\00:08:08.93 it's his last chance to make a good impression. 00:08:08.94\00:08:11.35 So he is being a very good boy really snugly 00:08:11.36\00:08:13.85 and I'm not going to wrinkle up that close. 00:08:13.86\00:08:15.58 But boys and girls as always, 00:08:15.59\00:08:16.93 when Ranger Jim has talked to you about these creatures, 00:08:16.94\00:08:19.30 who could look at this lovely creature 00:08:19.31\00:08:20.99 and not know that Jesus made. 00:08:21.00\00:08:23.47 That he provided all the things for 00:08:23.48\00:08:25.16 and we're still happy for Slinky that 00:08:25.17\00:08:26.62 he has survived even cancer three times 00:08:26.63\00:08:29.09 and he is such a lovely pet. 00:08:29.10\00:08:30.51 If you should ever be in this area 00:08:30.52\00:08:32.15 or if you could just come and see him and hold him 00:08:32.16\00:08:34.35 and see all these things, 00:08:34.36\00:08:35.66 you would know that Jesus loves the Ferrets too. 00:08:35.67\00:08:38.71 We've learnt he loves this Ferrets, 00:08:38.72\00:08:40.30 most of all he loves boys and girls. 00:08:40.31\00:08:42.41 So Ranger Jim as always reminding you, 00:08:42.42\00:08:45.41 don't forget to tell Jesus that you love Him, 00:08:45.42\00:08:47.89 because He really does love you. 00:08:47.90\00:08:51.31 Hello boys and girls, 00:08:57.82\00:08:59.56 a lion is a very, very fierce animal. 00:08:59.57\00:09:02.88 But a lion is no match for an angel 00:09:02.89\00:09:04.73 that God sends down here to protect one of his children. 00:09:04.74\00:09:08.52 Daniel 6:22 talks about that. 00:09:08.53\00:09:10.64 Adam can you tell us what Daniel 6:22 says. 00:09:10.65\00:09:13.21 "God sent his angels to shut the lions' mouth". 00:09:13.22\00:09:16.58 That's right, and we know that God can do anything. 00:09:16.59\00:09:19.87 Boys and girls we're going to do 00:09:19.88\00:09:21.33 the story of Daniel in the lions' den. 00:09:21.34\00:09:23.62 Long ago there lived a man named, Daniel 00:09:34.74\00:09:39.32 known throughout the land for being wise 00:09:39.33\00:09:43.62 placed in a foreign country as a governor 00:09:43.63\00:09:48.21 because God knew Daniel wouldn't compromise 00:09:48.22\00:09:53.03 Also in this land were many princes 00:09:53.04\00:09:57.00 who knew Daniel was the favorite of the king 00:09:57.01\00:10:01.92 They tried to find a faultitude that 00:10:01.93\00:10:04.36 this man had 00:10:04.37\00:10:06.52 But Daniel never failed at anything 00:10:06.53\00:10:11.06 There had to be some way that they could get him 00:10:11.07\00:10:15.23 They watched him as he prayed three times a day 00:10:15.24\00:10:20.21 They plotted and they planned went to the palace man. 00:10:20.22\00:10:24.76 The king Darius heard those princess saying 00:10:24.77\00:10:29.33 Oh king, we've all been talking your righteous do 00:10:29.34\00:10:33.70 Why don't we take a month or so to worship you 00:10:33.71\00:10:38.22 And if someone finds another God to pray to then 00:10:38.23\00:10:42.89 we'll let him spend underneath in the lions' den 00:10:42.90\00:10:49.98 The king was very flattered his crown got way to touch 00:10:49.99\00:10:54.53 Before he knew if he had signed the decree 00:10:54.54\00:10:58.61 but when Daniel heard about the law 00:10:58.62\00:11:01.08 he didn't changed his life at all, just knelt to pray 00:11:01.09\00:11:04.52 so everyone could see 00:11:04.53\00:11:08.36 When they saw praying 00:11:08.37\00:11:09.97 they knew he would soon be dead 00:11:09.98\00:11:12.71 But when they threw him to the lions this is what he said 00:11:12.72\00:11:19.76 Here kitty Kitty Here kitty, kitty 00:11:43.53\00:11:46.03 why had he even overcome by pride 00:11:46.04\00:11:50.24 So when the morning he goes hurriedly 00:11:50.25\00:11:53.45 his eyes close went down the side of den 00:11:53.46\00:11:56.49 and gone inside 00:11:56.50\00:11:59.39 Oh Daniel are you still awake 00:11:59.40\00:12:01.91 or have I made a great mistake 00:12:01.92\00:12:04.27 can you tell me please I've always with us. 00:13:01.21\00:13:03.41 Well hello, I would like to tell you a story today 00:13:13.27\00:13:17.03 and I want you to listen very carefully, 00:13:17.04\00:13:19.03 because it's a story how God protected me 00:13:19.04\00:13:22.38 in a life and death situation. 00:13:22.39\00:13:25.57 You see, some evil men wanted to kill me 00:13:25.58\00:13:29.24 and put me to death. 00:13:29.25\00:13:31.22 They didn't like me because I serve, 00:13:31.23\00:13:34.55 the Most High God, the Creator God 00:13:34.56\00:13:37.47 and I love Him with all of my heart. 00:13:37.48\00:13:40.26 You see three times a day, I talked to our God. 00:13:40.27\00:13:44.56 I go up into my room and I open my window 00:13:44.57\00:13:48.25 towards Jerusalem and I kneel down 00:13:48.26\00:13:50.88 and I thank God for His protection and His care. 00:13:50.89\00:13:54.95 You see I used to be a slave. 00:13:54.96\00:13:56.58 I was taken a prisoner from Jerusalem 00:13:56.59\00:13:59.43 to many, many miles away to a country 00:13:59.44\00:14:03.52 that was not my home. 00:14:03.53\00:14:05.70 And everyday I asked God to keep me faithful to Him, 00:14:05.71\00:14:10.68 I want Him to protect me, I don't want to rush up 00:14:10.69\00:14:13.69 the God's of gold and silver and the heathen, 00:14:13.70\00:14:16.67 God's that are all around me. You see, Daniel, is my name. 00:14:16.68\00:14:24.73 And these evil men were trying 00:14:24.74\00:14:27.87 to take my life because, Darius, was the King 00:14:27.88\00:14:33.29 and he wanted to put me 00:14:33.30\00:14:35.52 in command of all of the governors 00:14:35.53\00:14:38.99 and all of the officials of the land. 00:14:39.00\00:14:41.66 It would be the highest position 00:14:41.67\00:14:43.54 in all of the kingdom and they were jealous of me, 00:14:43.55\00:14:46.49 they didn't like me at all. 00:14:46.50\00:14:49.04 So they thought how can we destroy, Daniel. 00:14:49.05\00:14:53.99 You see I was faithful to God and to the king 00:14:54.00\00:14:57.36 and they couldn't find anything 00:14:57.37\00:14:59.05 that was wrong with me. 00:14:59.06\00:15:01.18 Anything in my work, they couldn't find any fault 00:15:01.19\00:15:05.07 in what I've done I did. 00:15:05.08\00:15:07.63 And so they studied my life and they went to the king 00:15:07.64\00:15:12.42 and they said, king we've an idea, 00:15:12.43\00:15:15.78 you are a great king and you deserve worshipping praise. 00:15:15.79\00:15:23.01 We would propose a law 00:15:23.02\00:15:25.02 that, no man would ask a petition of any man or God 00:15:25.03\00:15:29.95 except you, oh great, king Darius. 00:15:29.96\00:15:33.57 The king thought about that and he said, 00:15:33.58\00:15:35.98 well, that's a, that's a great decree. 00:15:35.99\00:15:38.35 I like that, no man would ask 00:15:38.36\00:15:41.17 of any other person except me. 00:15:41.18\00:15:43.77 Yes I like that you write that up in the law. 00:15:43.78\00:15:49.35 Well, king we would like to add something else. 00:15:49.36\00:15:52.30 If any one breaks that law, 00:15:52.31\00:15:54.47 if any one worships any other God except you, 00:15:54.48\00:15:58.19 then they should be placed into the lion's den, 00:15:58.20\00:16:01.26 they should be killed. 00:16:01.27\00:16:02.77 The king liked that idea too. 00:16:04.98\00:16:07.08 He said that's great, you put that into law 00:16:07.09\00:16:10.64 and according to the law of the Medes and the Persians, 00:16:10.65\00:16:13.25 it cannot be changed. 00:16:13.26\00:16:16.20 Well, when I read the law, I knew what it happened, 00:16:16.21\00:16:19.04 these evil men wrote that law, 00:16:19.05\00:16:21.64 so that they could destroy me. 00:16:21.65\00:16:23.96 They knew about my prayer life to my God. 00:16:23.97\00:16:28.08 I thought about it for a minute, 00:16:28.09\00:16:29.53 should I close the door, should I close my window, 00:16:29.54\00:16:33.38 should I pray in secret. 00:16:33.39\00:16:35.86 No, that doesn't seem right, that would be denying God, 00:16:35.87\00:16:39.92 that would mean that I was ashamed of Him. 00:16:39.93\00:16:42.94 And you see I believe that, that would hurt God. 00:16:42.95\00:16:47.08 And so I said it didn't matter, if I would die. 00:16:47.09\00:16:51.58 If I would go into that lions' den or not 00:16:51.59\00:16:54.19 I was going to pray. 00:16:54.20\00:16:55.68 And I went up into my room and I knelt down 00:16:55.69\00:16:59.50 and I thanked God for His love and His care. 00:16:59.51\00:17:02.90 I asked God, Lord, would you please protect me. 00:17:02.91\00:17:07.00 You know about this decree 00:17:07.01\00:17:09.02 and there are men watching me right now 00:17:09.03\00:17:11.75 and I know that they're going to place me 00:17:11.76\00:17:15.47 into the lions' den, but I don't care, 00:17:15.48\00:17:18.19 I will die for you. 00:17:18.20\00:17:20.84 Sure enough, the leaders, they went to king Darius 00:17:20.85\00:17:25.02 and they said, O king live forever. 00:17:25.03\00:17:28.05 You remember the decree that you had made? 00:17:28.06\00:17:31.61 He said yes I remember that decree, what about it. 00:17:31.62\00:17:35.09 And they said there is a man O king, 00:17:35.10\00:17:38.65 that defied your law. 00:17:38.66\00:17:40.61 And he said what, who would dare 00:17:40.62\00:17:43.33 defy the law of the Medes and the Persians 00:17:43.34\00:17:46.13 that cannot be changed, to death to that man. 00:17:46.14\00:17:50.00 And they said exactly king, it is Daniel. 00:17:50.01\00:17:56.53 The king felt really bad. 00:17:56.54\00:17:59.45 He said not my friend, Daniel, 00:17:59.46\00:18:02.12 and then he realized that he had been tricked. 00:18:02.13\00:18:05.02 Those men didn't care about him 00:18:05.03\00:18:06.57 they just wanted to destroy Daniel. 00:18:06.58\00:18:09.54 And so, Darius, he spent that entire night 00:18:09.55\00:18:13.39 fasting and praying and he called me before him 00:18:13.40\00:18:17.24 and he said, Daniel, I'm sorry 00:18:17.25\00:18:19.80 those men have tricked me, but I know your, God, 00:18:19.81\00:18:24.17 he can deliver you. 00:18:24.18\00:18:25.71 I've heard the stories of your God, 00:18:25.72\00:18:28.54 can't he deliver you Daniel. 00:18:28.55\00:18:30.73 I said yes king, He can deliver me. 00:18:30.74\00:18:35.16 And so the king gave the order 00:18:35.17\00:18:38.09 and I was lowered down into that ground 00:18:38.10\00:18:41.85 in that musty old smelly damp place. 00:18:41.86\00:18:48.94 Lions were roaring, they were yelling, 00:18:48.95\00:18:52.16 but somehow I wasn't afraid at all. 00:18:52.17\00:18:56.37 You see I had spent that entire time praying 00:18:56.38\00:18:59.54 and God took the fear away from me 00:18:59.55\00:19:02.68 and another thing is that I was able to sing. 00:19:02.69\00:19:06.64 I was able to pray 00:19:06.65\00:19:08.37 and talk to God and thank Him. 00:19:08.38\00:19:11.20 The lions didn't hurt me at all. 00:19:11.21\00:19:14.36 That morning the king he had told me 00:19:14.37\00:19:17.73 that he fasted, he prayed all night 00:19:17.74\00:19:20.03 and he went to the pit where the lions where 00:19:20.04\00:19:23.37 and he rolled away the stone 00:19:23.38\00:19:24.73 and he looked down and he said Daniel, 00:19:24.74\00:19:27.89 has your God delivered you. 00:19:27.90\00:19:30.84 I looked up and I said, yes king Darius, 00:19:30.85\00:19:35.13 my God whom I've served, who I'm faithful to, 00:19:35.14\00:19:39.20 he sent an angel and close the lions' mouth 00:19:39.21\00:19:42.72 and they've not hurt me. 00:19:42.73\00:19:45.06 The king was so happy, 00:19:45.07\00:19:46.74 he ordered men to pick me up out of that cave. 00:19:46.75\00:19:52.58 And you know, one of the first things that I did, 00:19:52.59\00:19:56.02 the very first thing that I did was I knelt down 00:19:56.03\00:20:00.71 and I thanked God for His protection. 00:20:00.72\00:20:04.39 God of great and God of small God of one and God of all 00:20:20.66\00:20:29.71 God of weakened God of strong God to whom all things belong 00:20:29.72\00:20:38.57 Hallelujah, hallelujah, praise be thy name 00:20:38.58\00:20:47.00 God of land and sky and sea God of life and destiny 00:20:53.75\00:21:01.71 God of never ranging power yet beside me every hour 00:21:01.72\00:21:09.44 Hallelujah, hallelujah praise be thy name 00:21:09.45\00:21:16.55 God of silence God of sound 00:21:23.66\00:21:28.81 God in whom the lost are found 00:21:28.82\00:21:33.95 God of day and darkest night 00:21:33.96\00:21:39.01 God whose love turns wrong to right 00:21:39.02\00:21:45.02 God of heaven and God of earth 00:21:45.03\00:21:49.68 God of death and God of birth 00:21:49.69\00:21:53.97 God of now and days before God who reigns forever more 00:21:53.98\00:22:03.57 Hallelujah, hallelujah praise be thy name 00:22:03.58\00:22:14.16 Praise be thy name 00:22:14.17\00:22:22.25 Can you imagine being thrown 00:22:34.14\00:22:35.59 into that den for a hungry lion?
