And so we started looking around

at so many places
that we were not in.

You know, we talk
about all the work

that Jesus For Asia is doing.

Rarely do we talk about all
the work that we're not doing.

And so we started
looking around and it's like,

"Man, there's entire countries,

entire regions that
have no representative

of The Three Angels Message.

And one of our colleagues
at Jesus For Asia, Sharon,

has such a
burden for Japan also.

And so when she saw us
doing this trip, she's like,

"Can we just go to Japan also?"

And I'm like, "No, we can't.

And you came in and saw the plan

and it was like, "No way."

And then the Lord kind
of like took over and said,

we were originally just
coming here to prayer walk

and then some friends
of ours have contacts here

church in Tokyo and said,

"Hey, why don't you have
a small faith camp there?"

- That's right.

- So they
contacted their friends there

and then we were able to
have a small faith camp here

while we were at it.

- Yeah, and this was a
groundbreaking faith camp

because number one,

we've never had a
faith camp in Japan before.

We've had some
in other countries

like the Philippines,

is the kind of thing

that we did at this faith camp

Now when you go prayer walking,

to do it effectively,

there's certain things
you have to understand.

You can't just go out and
pray a ritual type of prayer.

you have to pray in faith.

for hundreds of years,

minuscule amount of interest

city on the south coast of Java

friendly and so genuinely warm.

walking down the streets

He was surprised that I

I was feeling so depressed.

through a lot of depression.

It like, "What
are we doing here?"

It's like, "How is God
gonna make an effect here?

It's like impossible.

Then I'm like, "You know what?

God is here

'cause he's
where the people are.

He's where the need is."

And even though
there's a lack of interest,

I absolutely believe
that deep down inside,

there's a crying need for more.

And I started thinking
about how does God see me?

He sees me as his son.

Then he was willing
to trade Jesus for me

and that he's with me.

And then I felt so
much joy and so much peace

that it's like it overflowed.

And so that's when I went up

and connected
with that young man,

I was just like,

in my mind, in my eyes,

I was looking at him like
just giving him affirmation,

giving him the peace
and the joy that I felt.

And I know he responded to that.

I think that the
key is like Jesus,

saturated with that love

overflows to other people.

a period of depression

during this last
hour's prayer walk,

but I don't feel
depressed anymore.

I think God has, even one.

That's the thing, you know.

I get overwhelmed
with 37 million people,

but man, if we
can just find one,

it'd be worth it all.

just like such a blessing

times that we had to pray

was sitting on the train
for an hour and a half each way

to get into the
middle of the city

and just praying that God would,

you know, work on
these people's hearts,

that he would give them hope,

that they would see that there
is value and there is peace

and there is joy
in knowing Jesus.

keep them going long enough

she really needs help.

Or the older lady who's
struggling to get across the

street. - There
was one guy I saw

who was sitting across
from me on the train one day

and he looked like
he had a black eye.
00:12:19.30\00:12:21.04
Not sure how that happened.

Didn't get a
chance to talk to him,

but it was like he
just looked so down

and I just, I
don't know what it was,

but for some
reason I just kept feeling

like I need to keep
praying for this guy.

I don't know what his story is,

but I know that Jesus loves him

And so it's not just like you

The second Bible
verse that I've been praying

some amazing encounters
