It's been really hard.

We've been in the
ministry for fulltime,

almost 13 years now.

But it's been
really hard to encapsulate

what we're trying to do.

And so the Lord
kind of gave me that

as I was in
prayer the other day.

So the simplest
way we can say it is

that we exist to
enable the missionary

either local or
national or foreign missionary

to take the gospel
to the underserved,

and the most underserved

as far as we
have been able to find

is the people on
the continent of Asia.

Lot of people in
America aren't aware

that Asia has over
half the world's population.

Ninety percent of all
unreached people groups

live in Asia.

It's very simple
but all the projects,

projects and they're all about

are on the frontline

to reach those that
don't know the gospel

or don't have
access to the gospel.

So missionary is
coming from America

from other countries,
going to the underserved.

In other words, a country,

there is like several stages
in a person's Christian growth.

First you start out
with hearing the gospel.

That's the seed planting.

Then you have the
incubation period,

the growing, the early stages,

where you're just drinking
all the milk of the gospel,

and then you go into the...

or develop stage where
you start to establish,

you know, your
identity as a Christ follower.

And then I believe the
fourth and final stage is

when you become a giver
of what you have received.

You know, first the seed,
then the stalk, then the ear,

some 60, that type of thing.

And so we can find people
like that in the countries

that are underserved

as well as people
wanting to go to places

that are underserved.

And many times, it's
easier for missionary

to go from a far country

than it is to go
from the nearby tribe.

For instance, you know,
one tribe across the valley

used to eat the
people that are over there.

And so for the gospel to
go there is very difficult.

going to work grow well.

There is going to be suspicion.

some barriers to overcome.

highly densely populated areas

some cities that are

of forms of transportation.

And the idea of a bicycle

bicycle is a recreation.

thinking about buying a bicycle

with one of our Bible workers

and that's what spark the idea

And so I asked him and I

22 villages. Yeah.

went to one village

And so that sparked
an idea in our minds

for maybe there's
other Bible workers

that need bicycles also.

So a few years
later, we had a young couple

that went to North India

and met a bunch of
these Bible workers,

and they were doing
training with the Bible workers.

And they saw a
need for bicycles also.

And they shared it.

And one of their friends said,

"I'm going to
see what I can do."

And so she started fundraising

to help buy bicycles
for these Bible workers.

And that one lady
who wasn't wealthy...

No.

She didn't have,
hardly, any money of her own.

No, she couldn't just
say I'm going to pay for
00:08:18.19\00:08:20.50
how many bicycles.

I don't think she
could even afford one,
00:08:21.50\00:08:23.77
you know, all at once,

she had to give a
little bit at a time

to buy one bicycle.

And what did she
do to raise funds?

She told her friends,
she asked people to help,

you know, it was just
crowdsourcing, crowdfunding.

Yeah, the common
term for that today

or the new buzzword for that is

peer-to-peer fundraising.

So instead of like
donating what you can do,

you donate your time in
spreading awareness of the need

and so a bunch of

had another couple

that came forward and said,

number of Bible workers

at the beginning and
then to keep, you know,

giving bicycles as we could."

And so then we had a couple
that came forward and said,

"We want to finish off the fund

and enable those ones
to have the bicycles."

so we're very thankful.

Yeah, so what are
we doing today then?

I mean, we've got some...

We get to have a report
of how the funds were used,

many times we come

and we share needs and
we share opportunities,

Here in Assam region,

This Assam region is
divided into three parts,

the Lower Assam, Middle Assam,

and the Upper Assam.

And this is a big
state, and by the grace of God,

we have got 6,000 Seventh-day
Adventist memberships
00:10:17.55\00:10:22.65
in this part of Assam.

Last year, when Elder Jon Wood,
00:10:25.15\00:10:27.49
the president of Jesus for Asia,
00:10:27.49\00:10:29.86
visited our workers,
00:10:29.86\00:10:31.66
we were asking them their needs,
00:10:31.66\00:10:33.60
and that is when they said
00:10:33.60\00:10:34.96
that it would be
nice if we have a bicycle
00:10:34.96\00:10:37.87
because, here in
Assam, the transportation is
00:10:37.87\00:10:40.90
very, very, very difficult.

So these workers
are really covering up

30 to 40 kilometers each,

which is very, very
difficult for them to go by walk

because the transportation,
the bus facility,
00:10:52.21\00:10:55.15
or any other transportation
is very difficult.

That is when they said

it would be nice
to have bicycles.

And from then on,
we have been praying.

And I thank the Lord,

God has answered our prayers

and opened the gates of heaven,
touched the hearts of people,

and made it possible that
we could buy these bicycles

and give them to our
workers to hasten the work
00:11:14.10\00:11:18.31
because we know God is
coming very, very soon.

In Lower Assam,

we are distributing
nine bicycles to our workers,

and we have called the
workers from Upper Assam

because it is a very long ways.

We are giving
out 14 bicycles today

for these workers.

The reason, few of the workers,

they have got
their own motorbikes,

so we are not
giving for the ones

who have transportation,

but we are
giving only for the ones

who don't have any
mode of transportation.

So here in Middle,
including the Upper Assam,

we are giving out 14 bicycles.

Upper Assam is a very vast area.

Our workers over there,

they find it very
difficult to reach the villages.

So I think it's going
to be a great blessing

for these workers to reach out

to the unreached
people in the darkness of sin.

And our workers, they are going
to really use these bicycles
