as the elder brother,

but there is something

that the elder
brother is missing.

And that's what we talked
about in the previous show

The heart of the

what he could have enjoyed.

It's a grudging attitude.

with his father as a burden,

So he's
complaining because the father

gave a party for
his younger brother,

is basically saying,

He could had a party every night

with all of his friends,

been gone his whole life.

And this father would
have been okay with that,

father is so generous,

so loving,
generous to a fault, really.

And so Jesus
leaves that parable alone,

rich increased with goods

know that you are poor,

So this applies to us today

don't know our own condition.

question with the elder son,

Jesus deals with us,

basically He has two parables,

is the dishonest steward

So somebody ratted on
the steward to the rich man,

your steward is
wasting your money.

this principle to us,

ahead and he starts acting,

He commends the
steward for thinking ahead

because he's
making friends, okay.

He's using his
master's money to make friends,

so that when he loses this job,

they will welcome him
into their homes, all right.

So that he won't have to
beg, he won't have to dig,

they'll find
something for him to do.

"The Lord
commended the unjust steward,

Now why would Jesus say that?

make some definitions here.

word that we never use,

A lot of times they get confused

by mammon of
unrighteousness, that mean like

but it just means filthy lucre.

The world's

That when you fail,
we're all gonna fail,

more important than money.
